The Sartana Academy of Higher Villainy. An infamous and secretive school for the upcoming supervillain children. The school goes up from 6th grade to 12th grade. The principal of this school is Sartana, the goddess of Death Music. While this academy acts as a school for villains it is for the most part a regular school. What makes it special is kid villains can mentor under the staff, travel around the world with special permissions to commit certain evil acts within their age range; robbery, burglary, kidnapping, extortion, any any and all forms of making money and gaining power . However, crimes such as murder (if it is not self defense or during a battle between a hero or a villain not affiliated with the school), hate crimes, all forms of sex crimes, and any war crimes, such as assisting a country in a war, are not allowed; if anyone commits these acts of villainy then they will not only be expelled and blacklisted from the school but they will also be handed over to their city's police department or hero very special cases and with Satana's discretion, there can be automatic rules apply to faculty as well and are strictly enforced. There have been no incidents in the past 30 years because of Sartana's strict enforcement, believing that despite being villains they shouldn't become monsters.
In Classroom 7-B, El Tigre, La Cuervo, Cactus Kid, Che, Dr. Chipotle Jr., and seven other villain students are listening to a lecture by supervillain historian, wearing a black robe with a skull in front of it and golden stripes, and a black visor, about Lady Maya, the Goddess of War and favorite child of Mictlan and how she managed to take over the Teca Empire and allying kingdoms with her three Goddesses of Death: Acat, Chipatli, and a human who went by the name El Monstruo Blanco. While the lecture was taking place, El Tigre was in deep thought about what happened during the Maelstrom: His Aunt Maria showing up as a "copy" of her mother's villain persona, seeing some of the best villains getting defeated or arrested in battle, and his battle between the Suarez sisters and how they almost defeated him.
"El Tigre? El Tigre!" The villain professor said, trying to get his attention.
"Yes." El Tigre said, coming back to his senses.
"Can you tell us the name of the gods that Lady Maya and her three acolytes fought against as a team?" The villain professor said, looking at him with laser beam eyes, hoping to blast him for not paying attention.
"Vucub-God of Jungle Creatures, Toci-Goddess of Healing, Itztli-The God of Stone and Xiuhitl-The God of Fire.. Technically, Zatz-The Princes of Bats was there but he didn't ascend to godhood until after his father sacrificed himself." El Tigre said, looking at the board with the notes. He also knew the story by heart since his Grandpapi told him about it when he was a baby.
The villain professor said "So, you were paying attention. I guess this means you won't have any trouble for next week's test.". He turned off his laser eyes as a result too.
Once the bell rang, class was dismissed and every student left the room; some headed for their lockers, others headed for their classes, and the rest headed for the cafeteria since it was their lunch time. As El Tigre is heading toward the cafeteria, he was overhearing some of the other villain students talking about the failed Malestrom, the rise of the new Miracle City Heroes, and how some of the well known and rising villains were all arrested. He tried blocking it out as best he could but it didn't help that he kept hearing his Aunt Maria's hero name, Plata Peligrossa, every now and then.
At the cafeteria, El Tigre and his friends were eating lunch at their table.
"You're lucky you got that right, El Tigre." Dr. Chipotle Jr. said while eating a guacamole sandwich.
El Tigre said while eating chips "It's not luck, it's knowledge I already knew; it's part of the Rivera family history. Anything relating to gods, demigods, and undeads are part of our family history lessons at home; it helps us know about any deals we can make with them or deals we can't.". He, along with Che and La Cuervo, noticed other villains passing by them with scorn or laughter on their faces; Cactus Kid and Dr. Chipotle Jr. noticed it too.
Cactus Kid asked "Why are they looking at us like we've been arrested or something?".
Che said "They're probably talking about the Miracle City Maelstrom. Everyone's talking about how we lost so many supervillains and criminals to that new hero division."
Cactus Kid said "Big deal, cities filled with supervillains go through that all the time anyway."
La Cuervo said adamantly"But this Miracle City, you know the place synonymous for crime and villainy. To be defeated the way we all were is going to bring a stain on all of our villain reputations.".
El Tigre said "We weren't defeated, we were just pushed back. Once we lick our wounds and come up with a new plan then we'll show these new heroes who's in charge."
Everyone at El Tigre's table agreed with that statement, each of them wanting revenge in their own ways; El Tigre wanting to get back at his Aunt Maria for trying to kill his parents and the humiliation he faced against a kid hero called Albino Burrito, who nearly matched him with his random mystical items at his disposal; La Cuervo for losing the ruby phoenix to the Suarez sisters; Che for all the zombie forces he lost to holy powers and being told that zombies can't dance; Dr. Chipotle Jr. for having his new guacamole monsters destroyed.
After lunch was over and everyone was headed for class, El Tigre was stopped by two skeleton guards and they said to him "Headmistress Sartana wants to speak with you. Come with us"
The guards escorted El Tigre to Headmaster Sartana's office, which was a separate castle outside of the academy. Once inside, he was being taken to the library room. Along the way he saw some photos of Sartana's accomplishments as a villain: Her robbery of Fort Knox, her kidnappings of government officials, and some of her marriages to other supervillains, one of them being Puma Loco. Eventually, they arrived at her office, where Sartana was sitting at her desk playing her guitar.
"Hello El Tigre." Sartana said to El Tigre after she stopped playing her guitar. She then offered him a chance to sit down by snapping her fingers which caused a skeleton chair to appear before him.
"Headmistress Sartana." El Tigre sat down after being offered to sit down.
Sartana said in a soothing tone "Please, you know you can call me Grandmami….when I'm in a good mood.".
El Tigre asked "Are you in a good mood? It's hard to tell with you.".
Sartana said with a smile on her face ."It's smart of you to ask me that. The fact that you're cautious of me shows that your papi taught you well."
"He did. But my mother and father also taught me you don't talk in such a soothing tone of voice unless you want something. So, what do you want from me?" El Tigre asked, being wary of Sartana but still willing to hear her out.
"I'm here to give you this." Sartana snapped her fingers and a folder appeared before El Tigre.
El Tigre opened the folder and it was revealed to be a special assignment on it. "A special assignment."He looked through the folder and noticed a photo of a girl with blue hair and"Hey, this is Chief Suarez's third daughter, Frida Suarez."
"I see you know her." Sartana said.
El Tigre explained "Only from a newspaper article that talked about her dad receiving a "Best Cop Award". She stood out because she had Blue hair instead of brown; something about honoring a relative that had the same hair color. I also know that she's a best kept secret since Suarez and his wife divorced; her mother left Miracle City with her afterwards and hasn't been seen unless it's an important event for her father and even then her locations are best kept secret.".
Sartana explained "Yes, she has been a well kept secret; she rarely appeared after Emiliano Suarez and former Judge Carmela divorced; anytime she does appear she is under heavy guard. Until now. I've found her location and I want you to kidnap her and bring her to me. "
"Why me? You have a ton of resources, undead and alive, that you could mobilize to get her yourself. Unless this is a place you can't go nor can you send any of your forces there." El Tigre asked. He knew how powerful and resourceful Sartana is and knew that it would be easy for her and her forces to kidnap Frida Suarez.
Sartana explained "I will admit that's one of the reasons. Although, I guess you can say that her location has more meaning to the Rivera family than it does me. Or I should say it has more meaning to the power of El Tigre. While you're there, I'm sure you'll find a power that will pique your interest.".
El Tigre asked "What's the catch? You don't just give out power so easily even to your own family members and this power you speak of goes over the standard reward for any villainy request.".
Sartana said "I'm glad you asked. I do want a finders fee but not in money or loyalty. Simply put, I want you to join the Student Council."
"A Student Council Seat!?" Dr. Chipotle Jr. shouted. He, El Tigre, La Cuervo, Che, and Cactus Kid were hanging out on the roof of the academy.
Cactus Kid said"That sounds like a reward more than a finders fee."
La Cuervo hit Cactus Kid on the back of his head and said "Don't be naive. Anyone on the Student Council has more to lose if they're kicked off than what they gain if they join. True you'll be promised special assets after you graduate but depending on what rank you're in, how long you've been in the student council, your grades, and sometimes the allies you make will determine what you get and sometimes it may not be what you want.".
Dr. Chipotle Jr. said "But you'll still gain a huge reputation after graduation and that's always good for something.".
Che said "Only if you're becoming a follower of Sartana or a member of the Mustache Mafia. The current council is made up of both with one member being a part of the top secret evil organization known as Doom Incorporated; they don't exactly like Miracle City born villains.".
Cactus Kid said "That wouldn't affect me since I wasn't born in Miracle City.".
Che pointed out "But you still hang out with us and you made your start there, stupid.".
Dr. Chipotle Jr. said "Ok, but at least El Tigre will get rewarded by one of two organizations that respect his family."
El Tigre explained "My parents only do work for Don Baffi and his closest advisers; my dad owes him for getting him off the streets and my mom benefitted from his reforms that gave women outside the family membership into the Mustache Mafia. The only reason a member of the Mustache Mafia can hire them is with a direct letter and call from Don Baffi and that's rare."
"But your family is also connected to Sartana."
El Tigre said "That's provisional at best. She may have married my grandpapi but that was mostly for a power deal that he had to make with her; love was involved too but that doesn't always extend toward the rest of the Rivera family. My dad respects Sartana but he never trusted her; if he ever needed anything he would have probably asked my Uncle Machete but that's just as rare. And my mom only made a deal with Sartana to play at her and my dad's wedding and that was paid off years ago.".
"Speaking of Sartana, why would she want you to kidnap Chief Suarez's daughter, Frida Suarez?" Cactus Kid asked.
Che said "Maybe it's payback for forming that new superhero's unit that appeared during the Maelstrom. I heard she lost a lot of undead warriors and money in that; it's almost as bad as how many zombie soldiers and land we lost."
La Cuervo said "If that were the case then she would do it herself; she would never rely on anyone else to exact revenge on her enemies except close family."
Cactus Kid said "But Manny is still family in the eyes of Sartana since his grandpapi is still married to Sartana by undead law.".
"But undead law doesn't always mean anything, or even apply, to humans. It's mostly used to benefit the undead." Che said, rolling his eyes.
"What do you think, Manny? I mean this is your mission to accept."
El Tigre said "I've already made up my mind. I'm going to do this and get that Student Council seat. I just wanted to hear your thoughts on the matter since the request says I can bring allies with me.". He looked at his friends with a strong look of confidence. He then pulled out a document that would allow him to bring other student allies with him and where they would put their signatures.
"I'm in." La Cuervo said, using a pen that she had in her pocket and signing her name.
"Me too." Cactus Kid said, signing with a cactus needle pin.
Dr. Chipotle Jr. asked "Does your Council seat come with a lab?".
El Tigre said "Yes, it comes with a lab.".
"Excellent!" Dr. Chipotle Jr. used his metal finger with a pen and signed the document.
Everyone looked at Che immensely, attempting to peer pressure him into joining them like always. He then said "Fine. But if we get penalized for you losing the council seat I'll turn you and all the Rivera family into zombies."
El Tigre said "Noted.". Che then signed the document with a pen he had in his pocket.
Che noticed something on the document and said "Hey, it says here we have to have three fully fledged villains to act as our getaway drivers and supervisors. Who are we supposed to ask?".
El Tigre said "One of them is going to be my mom; since this council seat is going to be mine they want a parent or guardian for this.".
Dr. Chipotle Jr. asked "Nothing against your mom but why not your dad or grandpapi?"
El Tigre said "Grandpapi is on a list of villains we can't ask for help. And my dad's schedule is booked these next few weeks so he can't help us. My mom has the most free time." He then turned to La Cuervo and asked "What about your mom?".
La Cuervo said "I'll ask but you know my mom hates working with your mom. If she says no I can ask my Grandmami; I'm pretty sure she's not on the list of villains we can't ask."
Che said "My grandfather has a list of villains who are still in debt to him and my family; I'll see if I can get one of the really good ones."
El Tigre said"Alright then. Let me know who you can get. I'll have a plan ready before the weekend."
Somewhere in the school, inside a meeting room, three of the student council members, Django of the Dead, Sophia Baffi, and Mikla were waiting for a response from Sartana about El Tigre accepting the student council position. Eventually, they would receive texts from their phones that said El Tigre will be accepting the mission to get into the student council.
"El Tigre has accepted the mission." Django said to the two of them.
"Excellent." Sophia said with a smile on her face. She then pulled out a photo of El Tigre in a heart shape, holding it close to her.
Mikla said "I still don't understand why you're offering him a seat on the Student Council. Do you have any idea how dangerous he'll become if he graduates as a member?".
Django said "There's a risk but it's one worth taking; if anything, we'll be able to monitor his power more often because of this move."
Mikla asked "How are we going to do that?"
Django said "Leave that to me, Mikla. I have everything under control."
Mikla said "I can't just leave it up to you like that, Djsngo, especially when it comes to the powers of El Tigre. That power is too dangerous to be kept around in the world regardless of its affiliation with villainy. We need to eliminate it and El Tigre while we still can."
Sophia Baffi shouted "No! If we act too fast we'll expose our plans too quickly. We must do this right. It's not just about getting rid of El Tigre but taking over the academy and the future of all villainy."
Django said "She's right. If we act now, everyone will know we did it and it will impact our futures as leaders too negatively. Plus, he's still more powerful than us even if doesn't fully realize it. What we need to do is monitor his power without it. And I already have someone ready to do that for us."
Somewhere in a house on the mountains, Frida is playing her guitar while reading a sheet of music that was assigned to her by her music professor. She didn't like it since the tone of the music was too soft. Before she continued to play, she heard her phone ring and decided to answer it; however, she closed her room door and went into the closet just to be sure that her mom wouldn't overhear her. She looked at the phone and saw the number 666-666-996 and knew who it was.
"Hello Django." Frida said with a sly smile on her face.
"He's coming to get you." Django said with a sinister voice.
Frida said "Finally, I'm getting tired of being here already. It's bad enough that my family house is in the middle of nowhere, I have to attend school in this stupid uniform. What does he know about me besides being blood related to Chief Suarez?"
Django explained "Nothing. In fact he thinks he's kidnapping you to get back at him and quite possibly his aunt since she works for him and you're close to her."
Frida said "All Maria is to me is an annoying music tutor and my dad's cop mistress now turned superhero mistress. I'm only grateful to her for introducing music to me and that's it."
Django said "If you say so. By the way, how's that mystic guitar working for you?"
Frida pulled out her right hand and a dark blue and golden mystic guitar appeared before her. She said "It's awesome. I'm really looking forward to using it for my very first crime. And for my battle against El Tigre."
Out of all of my El Tigre AUs', Crimeverse is one of my favorite worlds that I would want to expand on more when I have time and inspiration. This was meant to give you an idea of what kind of life the El Tigre of this world is, mainly the school he goes to for villains along with giving you a sequel as to how things went on after the end of his first chapter. What would you want to see come from this world if I continued to expand on this AU.
