The days passed at Pentagram University, and my time with Vaggie and Carmilla became more and more special. We immersed ourselves in our studies and shared a peculiar dynamic as a trio. The semester progressed and our friendship grew stronger with every laugh, deep conversation, and moment of complicity.

One sunny afternoon, Vaggie and I were leaving the literature classroom when we noticed a commotion in the hallway. Our curiosity led us to get closer to see what was happening.

To our surprise, we found Eric Johnson in the center of the crowd, surrounded by students who looked at him in amazement. Eric, with an arrogant smile on his face, loudly proclaimed his latest achievement.

"Listen to me, commoners!" Eric exclaimed in a condescending tone. "I present to you the new candidate for the presidency of the literary society: me!"

Vaggie and I exchange surprised looks. We couldn't believe that Eric would be running for a leadership position in such a prestigious society.

Before we could react, Carmilla appeared behind us, her expression unfazed as she watched the scene with interest. "What is hapening here?" she asked, with a tone of voice that made it clear that she was expecting an explanation.

Eric turned to Carmilla with a smug smile. "Isn't it obvious, professor? I am running as a new candidate for the presidency of the literary society. Thanks to my influence and talent I will win these street elections."

Carmilla raised an eyebrow, clearly skeptical. "Interesting. And tell me, what are your plans for the literary society? How do you plan to honor the tradition and purpose of the organization?"

Eric hesitated for a moment, surprised by Carmilla's direct question. "Well, I'm still working out the details," she admitted, her confidence waning slightly.

Carmilla nodded calmly, but her gaze was firm. "I understand. I hope you are able to meet the expectations of society and your peers."

With that, Carmilla turned and walked away from her, leaving Eric visibly uncomfortable and bewildered. The students around him were murmuring among themselves, some clearly questioning Eric's choice as a candidate.

Vaggie and I watched the scene with a mix of fascination and concern. It looked like things at the university were going to get even more interesting in the coming days.
