Lincoln was helping Lily get rid of some energy when he heard the sound of a horn
he looked to the entrance and saw a huge army of raiders with a jackal leading the charge
"ah fuck." Lincoln said quietly
he turned to Lily
"round everyone up and get to somewhere safe I'll deal with this." Lincoln said
"ok!" Lily said before running off to go get people somewhere safe
Lincoln went over to the entrance
"so you're the robot who's been beating my men." The jackal said
"that's correct I assume you are the ringleader of this group." Lincoln said
"yes I am. My name is zero." Zero said "and I don't take people ruining my raids very well."
"well I don't take people attacking my village very well either." Lincoln said "so leave."
Lincoln moved his hand to behind him and shot a missile at a group of raiders trying to get in from the other side
"final warning." Lincoln said
zero smiled
"kill them all! don't let a single one get away!" Zero yelled to the raiders as all of them charged
"Here we go!" Lincoln yelled as the battle began
Lincoln immediately ran forward and took out a group with his bare hands
he dodged most of their attacks
"FINAL SHINE ATTACK!!!" Lincoln yelled as he fired a blast at a group of raiders
despite him taking out lots of raiders he was starting to get overwhelmed
meanwhile
"We gotta help him!" Lily said looking from the safe zone
suddenly there was a loud bang and there were three raiders inside the safe zone
"hello there." A raider said "now stand there and die
then vanilla got behind him and snapped his neck like a twig before kicking the second one into the remaining one before shooting both of them with a pistol she pulled from an ankle holster
"holy shit." Shadow said who had readied a chaos spear but vanilla had beaten him to it
"language." Vanilla said
"you don't get to say that after you killed 3 men." Shadow said
"well lily is right. Lincoln has helped us so much, it's about time we return the favour." Vanilla said
"let's do it!" One villager said
"it's time to help Lincoln protect our village!" Another yelled
"YEAH!" Everyone yelled
meanwhile
"what's wrong getting overwhelmed?" Zero asked as Lincoln was getting attacked from all sides
suddenly a chaos spear impaled 3 raiders that were about to attack Lincoln
Lincoln turned and saw shadow
"Shadow!?" Lincoln asked "what the heck are you doing here?!"
"I am the ultimate life form. I go wherever I want." Shadow said
"well I'm not complaining." Lincoln said
then 5 raiders behind him were frozen solid
"you better not considering how much you helped them." Maria said as some villagers shattered the frozen raiders
then some holes opened in the ground and some tentacles came out before grabbing a handful of raiders and dragged them (presumably) to hell
"yeah you helped them out a lot!" Lily said
Lincoln watched as vanilla stomped on one guy's head before snapping another guy's neck
"could she always do that?" Lincoln asked
"apparently." Shadow answered as he kicked a raider away
"so the villagers decided to grow a pair." Zero said "fine I'll handle this myself."
Zero rushed in and tackled Lily
"I'll start with you brat!" Zero said
Lily's eyes glowed magenta as the phantom ruby took control
"back off you creep." The phantom ruby said before sending zero flying with a smack of their tails
Lincoln pulled out a sword as he approached the leader of the raiders
in response zero pulled out a sword of his own
"let's end this." Zero said
both clashed with incredible strength and speed both not letting the other get the upper hand
"I can see how you handled my fake hero so easily!" Zero said as he blocked an attack
"well what was your plan there?" Lincoln asked
"steal whatever we could then let the "hero" catch my raiders before letting them go while accepting rewards then rinse and repeat." Zero said
"smart plan. One flaw though." Lincoln said
"what is it?" Zero asked
Lincoln swept his legs and put his foot on his chest
"you didn't account for someone else becoming the hero." Lincoln said
"fair enough." Zero said "go ahead kill me."
hearing their boss say that all of the (still alive) raiders fled
"nah." Lincoln said
"What?!" Zero asked "WHY?!"
"because that's what you want." Lincoln said as he picked him up
zero growled
"I'll come back and kill you all! I swear!" Zero said
"good luck with that." Lily said as she opened a portal
Lincoln tossed him through the portal while zero yelled
"and that's that." Lincoln said
then lily's body glitched a bit
"huh?" Lily said
Lily looked down and saw a shard of the phantom ruby was missing
"he must've taken a piece out when he tackled me." Lily said
she quickly repaired the gem in order for it to not cause problems
"well then let's clean this place up." Lincoln said
"right!" Everyone shouted all the villagers were ready to help
then they began to repair the village

Lisa loud was trying to figure out a way to get revenge on, Lincoln, Lily and the machine in her brother's body
when suddenly behind her she heard a thud and a groan
she turned around and saw a jackal on the ground
"I'm gonna kill that robot and that fox too!" The jackal said
"that robot wouldn't happen to be a hedgehog would it?" Lisa asked
"yeah it was." The jackal said "who are you?"
"someone who wants revenge against them too." Lisa said "I'm Lisa loud."
"zero the jackal." Zero said "are you proposing a team up?"
"if you have something of Value." Lisa responded
zero then remembered something he had in his hand
he opened his hand revealing the shard of the phantom ruby
Lisa scanned it with what little tech she had and laughed
"what's so funny?" Zero asked
"if I can create a new gem out of this one, you won't be zero..." Lisa began "you will be infinite!"
zero liked the sound of that
