As Team RWBY continued their exploration of the Emerald Forest, Yang's keen eyes spotted something peculiar poking out from beneath a bush.

"Hey, check it out!" she exclaimed, crouching down to get a closer look. "Wild mushrooms!"

Weiss immediately tensed, her voice laced with concern. "Yang, wait! Those could be dangerous. We have no idea if they're safe to eat."

But Yang, always one to embrace the thrill of the unknown, plucked a handful of mushrooms and popped them into her mouth without a second thought. As she chewed, a mischievous glint danced in her eyes.

"Relax, Weiss. I've eaten weirder stuff than this," Yang reassured her, flashing a grin.

Weiss shook her head in exasperation, but before she could protest further, Yang's demeanor began to shift. Her eyes widened, and a dreamy expression spread across her face.

"Ruby, you're so warm and cuddly," Yang murmured, wrapping her arms around Weiss in a tight embrace.

Weiss recoiled in shock, her face flushing with embarrassment. "Yang, what in the world are you doing? Get off me, you idiot dolt!"

But Yang seemed oblivious to Weiss's protests, nuzzling closer and murmuring about Ruby's comforting presence.

Blake sighed, her patience wearing thin. "Can we please just go home already? This has gone from bad to worse."

Ruby, however, couldn't bear to leave Yang in such a state. "No, we can't just leave her like this. We need to find something to help her."

Weiss crossed her arms, shooting Ruby a skeptical look. "And what do you propose we do, Ruby? We're in the middle of a forest with no idea where to find a cure for whatever madness those mushrooms have induced in Yang."

Ruby's determination flickered, but she refused to give up. "We split up. Blake and I will search for remedy berries while you keep an eye on Yang."

Weiss hesitated, torn between her desire to leave and her concern for Yang's well-being. "Fine, but be quick about it. I don't want to spend any more time in this forest than necessary."

With a nod of agreement, Ruby and Blake set off in search of the elusive remedy berries, leaving Weiss to deal with Yang's delusional antics.

As they ventured deeper into the forest, Ruby couldn't shake the feeling of unease gnawing at her stomach. What if they couldn't find the berries in time? What if Yang's condition worsened?

But she pushed those thoughts aside, focusing on the task at hand. Together with Blake, they combed through the underbrush, their senses heightened in their search for the remedy berries.

Meanwhile, back at the clearing, Weiss struggled to pry Yang off her, the blonde Huntress seemingly convinced that Weiss was actually Ruby.

"Yang, snap out of it!" Weiss exclaimed, her voice tinged with frustration as she attempted to push Yang away.

But Yang only clung tighter, murmuring about Ruby's supposed comforting embrace.

Weiss let out an exasperated sigh, shooting a glare towards the direction Ruby and Blake had gone. "This is all your fault, Ruby..."

As Yang continued to cling to Weiss, her delusions seemed to intensify. She gazed up at Weiss with adoration, her eyes wide and unfocused.

"You know, Ruby," Yang mumbled dreamily, "I never realized how beautiful your ice-blue eyes are. They're like pools of frozen enchantment."

Weiss groaned, her patience wearing thin as she attempted to pry Yang off once more. "For the last time, I am not Ruby! Get a hold of yourself, Yang!"

But Yang remained oblivious to Weiss's protests, continuing her rambling in a dazed state. "And your hair, it's like spun silk, cascading around your shoulders like a waterfall of... of... frozen elegance!"

Weiss rolled her eyes, a mixture of annoyance and exasperation evident on her face. "I swear, if you don't snap out of this soon, I'm going to freeze you solid and leave you for the Grimm."

But despite Weiss's threats, Yang showed no signs of coming to her senses, lost in her delusional fantasy of mistaking Weiss for Ruby.
