Let the masks fall
It was actually Seahawk's fault. If it weren't for what he did to her, she wouldn't have to look for Frosta now, because Glimmer was afraid for her health. Okay, she was partly to blame too, Seahawk was really good at this stuff, and she actually wanted to be a mom, not many people know it, but she really liked kids... She realized this when she went to Entrapta for a party where the inventor presented her own child, she thought it would be nice to have one of her own. It was lively, charming, moody and had no sense of self-preservation. Just like the Seahawk, only it didn't want to set anything on fire. She decided that with Seahawk they would make their own, preferably two or three of them. She was never happy with being an only child and wanted to have a large family like her mother and grandmother. Even if some of her relatives were quite strange, to put it mildly, such as her great aunt who constantly talked about a Cyclopean city hidden in the depths ocean, R'lyeth or something. Finally, her great-aunt started talking about some shadow haunting her dreams, and after a few days she swam away and was never heard from again. She often wondered what happened to her, after taking the throne she even sent several expeditions to find her relative, but they returned with nothing, so the mystery remained unanswered.
She and Seahawk had worked hard to make the baby, she had to admit it had been quite pleasant bit of work, and they had finally succeeded. Only Glimmer noticed it now, who knows how, and she was going to treat her as if she was indisposed! Today she decided to let her go because it was her wedding, but as soon as she finds out that Glimmer is expecting a child, she will start treating her like a clumsy girl made of glass and sugar. She will drive her crazy with his protectiveness and will not let her live.
Another thing was that she agreed that she had to find Frosta as soon as possible. She felt sorry for the girl. She was undoubtedly the bravest of them all, often against her own good, and her own subjects treated her that way. She couldn't imagine what she would do if something similar happened to her. Luckily, her subjects liked her...relatively...maybe she just didn't bother them. Frosta certainly wanted to prove to everyone that she was still needed. This could cause a lot of confusion or get into some trouble. She could also prove useful in battle, because their powers really complemented each other very well.
She saw Erosta rushing loudly towards her with his strange mount. When the Ice Princess saw her, she called out to her.
„Oh Mermista! It's great that you're here, we need to hurry...„ she didn't finish because there was a huge explosion.
„Oh no! I think I'm late!" Frosta exclaimed with despair in her voice.
Several minutes earlier, Alatar watched with resignation as Lilka and Frosta prepared for the duel. Even if the girl almost admitted it, he would have guessed she was a princess, he was starting to see a pattern, though he couldn't put it into words yet. The problem was that they were both going to want to fight, and he wasn't very good at dealing with conflict situations. This, of course, made one question the sense of his participation in this mission. On the other hand, the sense of their participation in this mission was questionable in itself. And then Bina arrived, along with a strange girl, although he hadn't met a not-strange girl in recent years, but she left while their captain started shouting at them. Bina arrived quickly in time to stop the fight, but also in the perfect moment for Lilka to talk about the task ahead of them. He thanked Sarenrae and Abbadar for sounding the alarm. Perhaps this will distract them from what Lilka was babbling about. However, these were vain hopes.
„Shadow Weaver lives! Lonnie is here! And which Eti are you talking about!" Frosta shouted, very agitated. „ Tell me otherwise!...„ the girl threatened his red"haired friend with her fist in an ice glove.
„About our Eti. You know, your Catra's sister... you really don't know anything, you idiot!" Lilka took a table from a nearby bar and climbed onto it to appear taller than the girl wielding ice.
„Catra's sister! Where would she come from!" Frosta asked, becoming more and more irritated.
„Your parents didn't explain to you where they get their children from? Listen...„ Lilka began in a serious tone that sounded to anyone who didn't know her as if she was mocking them.
„I guess this doesn't apply to Eti anyway.„ Dragonkin said in a tired voice.
„ Excuse me, but what are you talking about, I'm slowly losing my bearings. Swiftwind said in a very confused voice.
„It's a long story, which, from what I know, has recently become even longer... I can only assure you that I did not bring Shadow Weaver here on purpose. I thought she was a decent and learned woman who behaved a bit strange towards Eti, but people usually treat her strangely." Bina said in a nervous tone, while most of the people around them felt fear, but not panic. He had to admit that the inhabitants of this city knew how to behave in a dangerous situation.
„But how does Shadow Weaver related to Lonnie?" Frosta asked confused.
„Don't ask me, I don't know any Lonnie." Bin replied with a shrug.
„Because Shadow Weaver now works for Lonnie so that we have a place to live, and Lonnie wants to overthrow the princesses and we must be helping her, because now we have to steal such a sword, and wants to kidnap the empress... And do you want Ashrak?" Lilka jumped down, walked over to their cart and waved the remaining kettle of tea in front of the others. Frosta and Swiftwind looked at her in confusion, but the princess realized what the red-haired girl was talking about first and turned around and then ran forward screaming "No, No, No!" and she ran with this strange, disturbing goat. Swiftwind looked at them and said in an uncertain voice.
„ And you are under arrest... I think so... „ he said in an uncertain tone, but everyone ignored him because they had more important things on their minds.
„And where are Eti, Itel and Rosie... I guess she's still with you?" Bina asked and he then explained.
„Eti Itel and Rosie were supposed to steal the sword with us, but I think we're a little late... I think we should meet at the meeting point, next to the ship." he explained briefly, although so much had happened during these few days that he would have had to explain to his captain for several hours what had happened during this time.
„And do Itel and Eti know about..„ she didn't have to finish, because everyone knew who they meant. Alatar simply nodded.
"Fucking hell... Okay, I'll go get Eti and Itel, and you go to the ship!" and she ran to look for the rest of her wards
„Tea, Mr. Horsee!" Lilka asked Swiftwind, showing him the kettle.
He sighed and said.
„ Okay, please pour me one... „ Aricorn's voice was audible with resignation.
She fel evil coming. The darkness was all too familiar, but had a completely different flavor than what she was used to. She may not have known much about galactic theology, but she did know a lot about the Great Old Ones. She even read the Book of Dead Names and was able to name most of the most powerful rulers of the Dark Between the Stars. Although she couldn't recognize the creature that was approaching, she would have to reach further and deeper, and she definitely wasn't going to do that now, but she was relieved to see that at least it wasn't one of the Great Old Ones, but it was a powerful being nonetheless. She had doubts that even with her power she would be able to face him... Adora had a much better chance of doing so. From several hints Calamity dropped, she understood that just being around She-Ra made her suffer, and that her charge was almost human... Perhaps the power of the Princess of Power could defeat such a being, especially after the Heart of Etheria was destroyed . So she left the solution to this problem to others, at least for now. She had other priorities.
She had a bad feeling earlier, but when the explosion rang out, she felt fear take over her. There were many possible answers to what could have happened, and she didn't like any of them. Eti could have gotten carried away by her emotions, someone could have attacked them, Rosie could have lost control of herself again, or something had gone wrong with Lonnie operation. Each of these possibilities meant a lot of problems... She had to deal with it somehow. Now she definitely wouldn't be able to talk to Mikach and the rest, let the devils and demons torn apart her stupid sisters, now all hope lay in Ireanis and that she would be conscious enough to convince the others. They had practiced this conversation with her many times, but such exercises could not replace focus. and she knew well that the Elven sorceress was easily distracted.
With reluctant admiration, she had to admit that the people of Brightmoon did not panic and remained calm. Even after the explosion rang out, they maintained a certain amount of calm to listen to the guards and soldiers taking them to the shelters. She suspected that a lot of it was due to her and Hordak. The constant threat of attack meant that they had to learn to cope with such extreme situations.
At first, she planned to go to the meeting point, but on the way she turned on the communicator and tried to contact Itel and the rest, but Elf girl suggested limiting contact to the necessary minimum due to the risk of interception of the message by Antares' subordinates. She even suggested turning off instant messengers because they could be used to eavesdrop. However, at some point Itel received a message from her, only it was not Itel, but someone completely different.
„Is that you, Scarface? I must admit that you have earned my respect with the way you treat unruly pets, but unfortunately, I am asking you to inform my dear sister and her adorable kitten that I will have a long talk with painted girl in a while if they don't show up in front of the old fountain, near the cemetery... „ the woman giggled briefly.
She pursed her lips and looked around. The streets were practically deserted, so she didn't have to worry about anyone outside Wrongdak hearing her. She addressed Lady Ka in the coldest but most polite tone she could muster.
„Listen to me, Ka. For almost twenty-five years I have commanded the forces of the Horde, and almost everyone on this planet was scared to fall into my hands, for I am capable of inflicting pain like no other, so if you do something….„ She didn't finish because she was interrupted by another giggle, surprisingly similar to Catra's laugh when she wanted to irritate someone.
„I am feeling as If I heard my father, let him rest in Hell. It's actually quite funny, considering how much both cats love you... Although the younger one loves me too... Did she tell you about how I trimmed her claws... It doesn't matter. I'm waiting for you, although I suggest you hurry up because I'm not patient. And if you see my sister out there, tell her that I can't wait for her to come visit our dad." and she hung up.
Wrongdak stared at her because she had set her Communicator to speak loudly. The clone's face showed the horror of slowly coming understanding. She herself wasn't sure what she should do. She didn't like Itel, there was no point in hiding it, but if Lady Ka was half as wicked as she seemed, she had to save Itel here. She tried to contact Bina's other kids while heading towards the agreed place, but no one answered her. However, she was contacted by someone she didn't expect at all.
„Listen to me, you ugly bitch! If you did anything to my children, I will get you even in the darkest corners of hell... „ began Bina angrily in a voice as similar and at the same time as different from Lady Ka's, as both women were similar and at the same time different. She didn't expect her here, in fact she didn't think much about what a real guardian and captain of kids did. This meeting was unexpected, but maybe it was a good thing that Bina was in Brightmoon right now, because maybe she needed her.
„Itel fell into the hands of your crazy sister." interrupted the clone woman. There was silence on the other end until Bina finally spoke quietly and coldly
„You vile hag, you're already dead..."
„It's not my doing.„ She interrupted th captain„I tried to protect your kids as best as I could, but as you can see, it wasn't enough. Now we must try to save her." she said in a firm, confident voice, and then repeated to her what Lad Ka had told her.
„I see. For now, we can cooperate on this one issue, but know that the scores between us are not settled." Captain spoke with certainty in her voice.
„Well, the list of people I've hurt is so long that one more person doesn't make any difference to me. For now, let's focus on saving the girl and don't let anger distract us." she said and they quickly started to make a makeshift plan.
Rosie was very happy, even though she was carrying a random girl on her shoulders. second one that she had accidentally knocked out this week. She wasn't actually that heavy, which should have surprised her, but she slowly found that less and less things about her skills surprised her. She felt needed and was happy that she could help Eti. She wanted to look as good as possible in the eyes of her friend... Or maybe not a friend anymore, but someone more... Were they a couple? She wasn't sure... They kissed, but Kyle claimed that Lonnie and Scarlet slept together, but they didn't call themselves a couple... Was everything always this... Complicated?
Suddenly she felt the ground tremble beneath her feet and she saw a flash of light out of the corner of her eye. Eti jumped up and spoke to her in sign language.
„Something has exploded here... I think there's more going on than we see, I think it's time for us to get out of here."
She nodded and corrected position of the girl, and then they ran towards their ship. Most residents hid in houses and shelters, so the streets were empty. Nothing stood in their way. When they were very close to the outer areas of the city, they came across Alatar and Lilka pulling a cart, and next to them was a clearly confused Aricorn... His name was Swiftwind, she thought. Alatar looked at her and sighed.
„Rosie, do you know that what you are carrying is not... the sword you were supposed to steal?" he said, looking very tired.
„What sword were you talking about? Not about Adora's sword, right? It won't do you any good anyway, because it's broken." said the aricorn in an increasingly confused voice. However, they ignored him
„We couldn't really steal the sword, because Captain Wingy had already done it, but by the way, we caught this one here. We will exchange it for a sword." Eti explained as if explaining something absolutely obvious.
„Eti, she's a Pirate now... Pirates won't give you something they consider valuable in exchange for one of their own."
The cat girl cocked her head to the side and then said.
„ A petite teenager could only be aboard a ship like the Merciless because she resembled someone, someone very important to the Captain, someone she was supposed to replace." Eti explained, and understanding appeared on Alatar's dragon face.
„Wait, there are pirates in the city? Did they trigger the alarm? Swiftwind asked, but was ignored again. They were getting ready to return to the ship when suddenly someone they weren't expecting spoke to their communicators.
„It's me, Bina."
At the sound of the Captain's voice, a smile appeared on everyone's face, although in Eti's case it was barely visible. She smiled too, although she couldn't hear Bina's voice, but the next message was much less cheerful.
„Lady Ka captured Itel."
Pure terror appeared on Eti's beautiful face, but then the feline girl pursed her lips and a cold blue gleam appeared in her eyes.
„ I see. Do you have a plan?" Eti asked, and Bina explained to them what her sister had told them. The cat girl nodded and said.
„ Rosie is coming with me, and Alatar will take that girl to the ship and pick him up. We may have to make an airstrike or make an emergency landing. Lilka, you will take care of Hoofy."
„Yeah! Horsee!" Lilka exclaimed with joy in her voice.
„I'm not... Anyway, it doesn't matter. Nobody listens to me anyway." Swiftwind said with resignation.
She always felt nauseous when Glimmer teleported her, but she stopped complaining now. You could get used to it.
„Okay, you go and organize the defense and find out what happened to Empress Eridani, and I will try to intercept the attacker." said the Queen in a worried voice and teleported away. She sighed, she definitely wanted to be with Adora more now, but maybe she would meet her near the castle.
She met Juliette and Netossa in the main square, where the two women were giving orders and seemed close to engaging in a fistfight. Both were very competent commanders, although Netossa was much more capable than Saihe General, who was too lenient towards her subordinates. Now both of their families were threatened by an unknown enemy. She understood them well, she also felt everything boiling inside her when she thought about what could have happened to Adora, although in her case it had to do with Lady Cala being with her. She didn't trust that woman in the slightest, and it wasn't just her scent. There was something unnatural about her, the cheerful condescension she exuded was irritating. But the worst thing was her cold blue eyes. She had the impression that she looked at them all as if they were vermin that she would probably like to crush with her shoe so that their existence would not offend her. She looked at them like… Horde Prime. She knew him better than anyone, perhaps even counting the clones, so she knew well how he saw others, and now she understood that Lady Cala saw them the same way. She felt cold sweat break out on her back.
„Okay, how's it going? Has anyone seen Adora?" she asked.
"Fairly well, we deployed soldiers on the walls and anti-aircraft defenses, it's good that you installed this shield, and especially the guns. Without it, it would be difficult, and no one will be able to break through our anti-aircraft defense." Netossa said, looking sideways at Juliette, who was against arming the castle with cannons. „Wasn't Adora supposed to be with Glimmer?"
„Yes, but with Lady Cala and the Lady of Blades to the undergrounds of Brightmoon Castle to intercept those who kidnapped Empress Eridani. Exactly, do you know anything about it?" she asked the ruler of Armoria, and she grimaced in irritation.
„According to one of the guards who sent us the message, it was a dark-skinned woman with a scar on her face, so it was definitely Lonnie. What Alarm detected was definitely a diversion." she said, clenching her fists.
„It wasn't a diversion, I'm sure of that." she replied in a gloomy tone, remembering the creature she and Glimmer had seen. On the other hand, Lonnie gained new allies who gave her this strange organic Weapon. And then there was Dr. Moors, the memory of whom made her shudder. But this was unbelievable, she remembered the evil emanating from that being and she doubted even Lonnie would be willing to cooperate with something so terrible.
„Post guards on the outer part of the castle and have someone provide me with the most accurate and oldest plans of the castle possible." she said, and for a few moments they discussed the next course of action. Eventually they talked about everything, almost everything.
„What about my father… Lord Admiral Antares." she asked, feeling growing anxiety.
„He sent his guard away and went to talk to Lady Sorrowflame. The guards say that this woman, this Lady Sorrowflame, was... Ugh, she turned into something strange, like a dragon or something." Juliette explained.
Her anxiety increased. First Adora, now her father. They were both in danger, far from any help, with such a terrible danger looming. And there was Shadow Weaver lurking out there somewhere, wasn't this all her doing? The last most terrible harm she could do to her? Did she want to take away the family she had just acquired? She felt like she was in a nightmare, completely powerless, helpless like a child. She couldn't become the same helpless creature she once was again. Melog, feeling a wave of fear wash over her, turned blue and folded her ears, wailing piteously.
„Juliette, Netossa, please take care of everyone, I have to look for them before... Before everything is lost. Tell me , where was the last time you saw my father?" She asked, trying to control the panic that was taking over her.
„The Lord Admiral was last seen heading towards the old Cemetery, but...„ Netossa began, but she didn't finish because she was interrupted.
„Okay, I'm going there. If you meet Adora, tell her where I went.„ she said and ran with Melog, not paying attention to the worried look that both commanders gave her, or to the black bird that flew after her cawing proudly.
It was too easy. Although she didn't expect this woman to be able to do magic, it didn't change much. And so they managed to kidnap her, mainly thanks to the staff she received from Mi-Go. Unlike Catra, the ruler of Eridani turned out to be susceptible to his power. Well, no matter what you say, her former friend had a stronger mind than any princess from outside Etheria, apparently they were much weaker than those from their planet. They did cause an explosion, which worried and saddened Kyle, but in the end, no one was actually hurt, so they did a lot better than they expected. One building, a distillery belonging to former Horde technicians, burned down, but if they want to go there for compensation, he will give it to them, we can afford it. The streets were empty, no one was stopping her because of the impending threat, they just had to get out of here. She felt a bit stupid leaving all these inhabitants without help, but hey, they had their princesses, Adora She-Ra and the rest. It was now up to them to keep them safe. She told Kyle and Rogelio this and they nodded grimly. Scarlet seemed scared, even the imp was glum, only Doctor Moors was happily jumping on the rooftops, he was much more mobile than he had previously said. Everything was going great, so why did she feel so miserable? Suddenly their communicator went off.
„It's me." she heard Shadow Weaver's voice. "The Lord Admiral captured Itel. I'm going to save her, just like Eti and the rest. You can do whatever you want, but without them the ship probably won't take off. They are keeping her near the old cemetery" said the dark Sorceress and hung up.
„Fuck!" she shouted, stopping. Her friends looked at her. She briefly explained to them what Shadow Weaver had told her. After listening to her, Kyle nodded and said.
„Well, we're going to get her, right?" Rogelio, who was carrying the unconscious Empress, nodded. She looked at them in disbelief.
„You guys must be crazy! We have to get out of here as soon as possible!"
This time they looked at her in surprise.
„But Itel is one of us! We cannot leave it behind. After all, we promised each other that we would take care of each other... This also applies to the new and weak ones." Kyle explained. He was actually right. They were no longer part of the Horde, where the individual did not count. They wanted to create something more. But the risk…
„I'm going anyway, regardless of what you decide." Scarlet said in a confident tone.
„Okay, we'll do that. Me, Imp and Scarlet will go rescue Itel, and Kyle, Doctor Moors and Rogelio will carry the Empress to the ship. Let's see what Shadow Weaver comes up with."
She knew something was going on here that she didn't quite understand. This girl attacked Catra's father, although they had no idea why she did it, at least she didn't hurt him. She left the child with Ashurk, who wanted to record a video with them anyway or something like that. She still didn't understand half of what the insectoid woman was saying, but she suspected there must be something important hidden there. Since so many beings were watching her. Even though she thought it was all nonsense, she really didn't know much about social matters. Thanks to Ashurk's help, she had time to do what she had been planning for a long time, which was to talk to the Lord Admiral about his technology, but she had barely exchanged a few words with him when this explosion occurred and then this girl attacked. She came from outside Etheri and fought in a way unknown here, although it was of little use against the Lord Admiral, Catra's father was a truly great warrior. However, the girl was knocked down by Lady Ka using an Electric baton. She stiffened for a moment at the sight, as it brought back one of the worst memories of her life, when Catra had banished her to Beast Island. Using this weapon at full power was not only painful, but also deprived of control over one's own body. Lady Ka seemed to enjoy it, she didn't understand how terrible it felt? That's why she preferred to stay with her, she really didn't want to leave them alone, although she couldn't say why... After all, Catra's father was a good man who wouldn't let his captive get hurt, right?
The girl was tied up by some soldiers serving Lady Ka, they did not look as neat as the Lord Admiral's subordinates, although they seemed to be equally dangerous. One of them seemed interesting, it was a short individual similar to those living in Taurus, the planet liberated by Catra's father. She had never met any of them, though she was almost certain he was from outside the Empire, which made him interesting in itself. His name was Graag and he had a cybernetic prosthetic leg and some kind of implant in his skull. At first she wanted to ask him everything, but Bow once told her that she shouldn't start a conversation by asking about such things. She had heard that it would be a good idea to start by talking about more neutral topics. The weather was nice and there was nothing more to say about it... Others also liked talking about pets and children. She didn't have any pets, although she was thinking about building a mechanical dog for her child, but she had a child! She took out her Datapad and started showing Graag photos of her husband and child. Her interlocutor turned strangely pale when he saw Hordak's photo. Well, the people of Etheria hadn't fully forgiven him for the whole Horde thing and all, and those coming from other regions of the Empire weren't very supportive of his relationship with the clones, but Graag had come from outside the Empire, along with the Lord Admiral's men! So why was he reacting so strangely?
The girl was then tied up and placed against a wall, and some sedative drugs were administered. When at one point Lady Ka went aside to talk to someone via the communicator that she had taken from the girl, she loosened her bonds and gave her a mild stimulant because someone else could have overdosed on them. Lady Ka definitely did not have the skills to care for the sick. During this time, she listened to what the Lord Admiral's deputy was saying. She had to admit that she didn't like it very much, although maybe she didn't know the context. She wasn't sure who this ugly girl was, maybe she was Lady Ka's friend. She heard that it was very common among friends to call each other offensive names, for example Catra was very fond of calling Adora an idiot, and was also fond of calling Glimmer Sparkles, it could be similar here... Lady Ka also mentioned her sister and her kitty. This was also puzzling... She remembered that Lady Ka was also a clone, which meant that her sister was also a clone. She was curious about the relationships between other clones. Horde Prime clones didn't always like each other, although it was the same with regular siblings... Then she had a strange thought that she could be talking about Catra's sister, but referring to someone adult and not your partner as pet is inadvisable... Even offensive
„And about this girl... what do you want to do with her? She is a captive, so you should take care of her properly... What do you do with captives?" she asked carefully. She felt like she had raised a very important issue.
„We usually keep them in prison camps, and sometimes we let them go free...„ the woman giggled, her sense of humor required deep analysis „ and what do you, ns of Etheria, do with prisoners of war? – she added after a while.
„ It depends... Glimmer's Mother locked them in the spare bedroom, or at least that's what she did with Shadow Weaver, and in the Horde... „ she lowered her head again that day, remembering her exile.
„Spare bedroom? I guess your queen's mother missed her husband very much." She giggled again in that strange, slightly irritating way. She was about to ask what she meant when an alarm was announced from the loudspeakers.
„Hey, Dad... I'll say it very simply, because I don't have time for stupid talk. Either you let her go, or I'll use one of your rock Incinerators and destroy this city.
„Fuck you!" Lady Ka screamed… Her way of speaking was really terrible!
„It's already done." Eti said to Rosie in sign language. Breaking into the city's news network wasn't hard, even she could do it. They really didn't know anything about computer security here. That was it, now she just had to rely on others for help. The winter flame rekindled in her heart again, but this time it gave her strength. She saw everything clearly now, her thoughts were clearer than ever. She was strong and smart, she could do anything, absolutely anything. Part of her knew it was a sign of stormy days, but it could be useful to her. She wasn't afraid of anything now, and fear was now her worst enemy. If she submits to him, he may fail, and then Itel will die. She couldn't imagine what she would do then. Itel was her best friend, even if not her beloved... Apart from Bina and Mrs. Ka, she knew no one else so long. She was the first one she saw after she lost her arm. She was seriously considering blowing up this city.
„Follow me, Rosie!" she exclaimed, supporting herself on the roof with her wonderful shoes, her girlfriend jumped in after her.
He was worried about Lonnie and even Scarlet, but there was nothing he could do about it. The ComradeGeneral may have been his girlfriend, but she was also his commander, and he had to obey her orders, even if he didn't agree with them. Besides, he wasn't able to help her, not as Kyle, and he couldn't become the latter with Lonnie... Suddenly he felt overwhelming fear and looked towards the Horizon. A winged monster of evil and death hovered over the city , following Brightmoon towards the screams and sounds of battle. He sensed a different evil from there, dark and unnatural. His sword pulsated with power. He couldn't help Lonnie, but maybe he could help the others.
„Rogelio... I have to do something myself. Please don't stop me." he said to his boyfriend. Rogelio nodded hesitantly and moved towards the ship, while he went into a side street, drew his sword and shouted.
„I have the Power!"
She ran tirelessly on all four limbs, never slowing down, and Melog ran right next to her, emanating the colors of all the feelings that burned in her heart. She had to make sure her father was safe. She was also afraid for Adora, she really wanted to be separated, but if she had to choose... Adora was able to cope with the group of kidnappers, but her father was only a human, she knew well how easy it was to hurt and kill an ordinary person. If Shadow Weaver was here, if she allied with that monster to get her father...
Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she saw a figure, the shadow of the person she knew so well, who had put so much effort into turning her life into a nightmare. The one who manipulated her and Adora to achieve her goals, caring about their feelings and desires, and now wanted to do the same to her sister. The one she hated with all her heart. But she soon lost sight of her, and she would have believed that she was just imagining it, but she had a feeling... The same strange tingling she had felt all these years in Shadow Weaver's presence. Everyone who lived in the Fright Zone, especially every cadet, developed this skill if they did not want to suffer. Melog turned purple due to the anxiety and anger she felt. She hesitated for a moment, and then she heard a voice coming from the speakers. She was sure it was her sister's voice, she remembered it well. She didn't understand whose release she was talking about, but she was sure that the girl was ready to carry out her threat… She was so much like her after all…. Shadow Weaver definitely knew where her sister was. She made her decision.
She failed again, she was arguing with that stupid girl and didn't notice Lonnie was there. She just wanted to follow Adora's order, but she was too focused on him and now she had to save the situation. She had no idea what Catra's sister the girl was talking about, Catra definitely didn't have a sister! Unless you counted Adora or the other cadets, but then it started to get weird... As soon as she could, she left them in Swiftwind's care, he should deal with them, and she raced off on Shogi to find... Anyone. Fortunately, she encountered Mermista who was walking through the emptying streets. She was about to explain everything when there was an explosion. Mermista jumped.
„If Seahawk and Bow came up with this brilliant idea, Glimmer and I will kill them both." the Sea Lady growled.
„No, it was Lonnie! She wants to kidnap the empress!" she exclaimed excitedly.\
„That Lonnie from the People's Rebellion... Catra and Adora's old friend? Wonderfully!" Mermista exclaimed.
„And there's still a Shadow Weaver around here somewhere... She survived somehow!" she started to tell her friend, who groaned with a tired voice.
„The scary old woman just discovered a way to get even scarier! This wedding just keeps getting more and more amazing! And I thought being late for your wedding was the worst thing that could happen at a wedding!" The woman brushed her dress nervously and said.
„I'll be running next to the shadows, so don't ride that thing too fast!" she looked at Shogi suspiciously, but then she patted her magical friend and he suddenly lengthened and grew to make room for Mermista.
„This is really strange, but since there is room... Just don't rush too fast, because I have to somehow stay on his back. – said the ruler of Salinea, mounting Shogi.
„Shogi will help you. – she said, and long tentacles wrapped around Mermista's legs and then moved forward!
She wasn't sure if Eti's message was a good idea, but it would definitely give Catra something to think about, and maybe she'd start to wonder who her father was. She had no idea how true the scout's threat was, but if she and Catra were so similar... Catra, if she was cornered, wouldn't hesitate to use such a terrible weapon, at least on her bad days, it was enough to remember the story with the portal, and Eti was even more unpredictable... she could only hope that the worst wouldn't happen... Wrongdak ran next to her with a fierce expression on his face. Despite all the differences that existed between them, the clone had grown attached to these kids. He was probably able to outrun her effortlessly, after all, he was in much better shape than either her or his brother. Knowing Hordak, it was easy to forget what his kind was created for... She was breathing heavily. She had never been very physically fit, especially compared to her sisters, and all the decades that had passed since she left her home islands had only worsened her health. Maybe instead of spending all these years drinking and feeling sorry for herself, she took up physical exercises and she wouldn't be coughing up her lungs now... But this is not the time to curse about what you didn't do, she had to cope.
She found herself close to the cemetery, still sensing the battle going on in the distance. She couldn't separate the powers that were fighting there, but she knew they were great powers, and she doubted she could handle any of them, despite all the power she was given. She couldn't let such things distract her anyway, she had to focus on her goal. He was so close, she could already see Lady Ka standing by the roaring fountain surrounded by her subordinates, a Duergar, the Gnol, Shirren and a few thugs of a species that was difficult to determine. The girl was sitting against the wall, tied up and not very conscious. Entrapta was standing next to her, was she involved in the conspiracy? No… She might not have known her very well, but she certainly wasn't someone who would conspire with someone like Mrs. Ka. She unleashed so many shadows, the darkness began to swirl around her, weaving a spell...
„Good night Ka, it's good that we can finally see each other with our own eyes... although in your case it will be more through the eye."
Lady Ka bit her lip in anger. At first, that purple-haired idiot didn't want to leave. The Admiral had given her a glare to forbid any harm to her, so no great accident could happen to her, she was great at inventing terrible accidents, and on top of that, she couldn't break that fucking elf's legs, and then that scarred bitch started threatening her. Who was she to threaten her? A stupid witch from a dirty planet who couldn't even discipline her pet. And then her little kitten started threatening her. Her! The one who owned her and she was her property, which she only sold to her new master. And on top of that, she threatened her with the weapon she had so perfidiously stolen from the Lord Admiral. So when she saw the damn Witch mention her eyes in her fucking ignorance, she giggled and said with gleeful hatred.
„You know what? Fuck of!" and pointed the gun at the girl and shot. The purple-haired idiot screamed.
