"Please come on in," Harry Potter said to an older dark-haired woman in the calmest tone he could get from his mouth.

She smiled at him and nodded politely as she entered Harry's place, he decided to live here because he decided to give the Black manor to Andromeda and he still was hesitant about living in Potter manor, so, the government gave him this place as a gift for defeating Voldemort and he didn't think twice about accepting this place that was located in Diagon Alley in the wealthy zone, after all, he would've felt like a disrespectful person if he refused the gift, also, the security here was amazing, stalkers weren't able to get him.

"Wow, your place is not bad Harry… To be honest, I was really curious about it, Hermione has told me a lot about this place," the older woman said as she continued exploring the place.

Harry laughed awkwardly.

"I hope she didn't talk to you about the weird things that usually happen here when she and Ron come to visit," Harry said a little ashamed of himself, he didn't want the older woman to think poorly of him.

"Oh, are you perhaps talking about the crazy parties you three have here? She has told me everything," she smirked at him and he couldn't help but feel a little embarrassed.

"Please, I beg you to not think that I'm trying to corrupt your daughter," Harry said a little ashamed of himself at this moment.

The older woman giggled.

"Don't worry, you three are adults now, that's something expected from people around your age, as long as you're in a safe place like this I'm satisfied, but…" The older woman touched her chin as she was trying to think carefully about what she was going to say next.

"Is there a problem Emma? If you're worried about your clothes, the Weasleys' domestic elf brought your stuff, let's go, I'll show you the guest room," Harry tried to ease her worries.

"No, It's not that Harry, there's one thing I'm curious about," Emma looked directly at his eyes and he raised a brow.

"You can ask me anything," Harry suggested with a calm expression.

"Well, you see, Hermione has told me a lot of about your drinking ability and how you are a much better drinker than she and her husband… Is that true?" Asked the dark-haired woman and that question made Harry feel confused.

He had no idea how to react to her question, it seems like Hermione has a little problem when it comes to keeping secrets as a secret, however, this might not be that bad, if this leads to something better it'll be Hermione's fault, so, he just smirked.

"Well, I don't like to brag but yes… I'm better than them," Harry said with a shy expression.

The older woman seemed a little confused, and Harry couldn't help but smirk, this was his chance.

"What?" Harry asked with a smile on his face.

"I don't know… You don't look like you could handle alcohol…" The older woman was having a hard time believing his statements and he just laughed.

"Be honest with me Emma… This is just an excuse for us to keep drinking, right?" Harry couldn't take it anymore, he didn't like verbal games, when he wants something he just goes for it without caring about the consequences.

Hermione's mother gasped and this made Harry worry, maybe he was being too blunt.

"Oh my god… Am I being too obvious?" She giggled after she said this and Harry couldn't help but sigh. "I'm sorry if I'm being too pushy, I think it'd better for me to retire to my room, or should I stay in the living room?" Harry felt guilty now the atmosphere was a little awkward.

"Wait!" He stopped her in her tracks before he gently grabbed her by her arm. "You're not being too pushy, but if you wanted to drink, you should have told me that and I would've gotten some bottles from my personal vault, come on… The night's still young!" Harry said as he led her towards the kitchen.

It didn't take too long for each one of them to have a glass with the alcoholic drink, in this case, they had tequila, they needed something stronger, or well, Harry needed it because he wanted to be brave tonight but he also didn't want to make a clown of himself.

"Cheers!" They said at the same time as their glasses clashed.

Soon the two of them released a heavy sigh, they were more than satisfied with the drink they were consuming.

"Wow… This is good!" Emma was surprised.

"It's because it's a special brand that makes tequila with special care, it's quite pricy for muggle standards but it's worth it," Harry said with a smile on his face before taking another sip of his drink.

She nodded and they remained like that for a while, they didn't speak nor move, but there was one thing for certain, they didn't stop looking at each other's eyes and they also didn't stop smiling from time to time.

"What's got you so interested in my face?" Suddenly asked the older woman breaking the silence.

Harry suddenly shook his head and smiled at her, it seemed like he was being too obvious when it came to admiring her face.

"Nothing extraordinary… It's just that… Now I know where Hermione got her beauty," Harry suddenly said, and even he was surprised that those words came out of his mouth.

Apparently, the older woman had the same reaction as him, it's a fact that she wasn't expecting this kind of behavior from Harry, however, she wasn't angry or anything, all the opposite, she smiled at the younger man.

"You flatter me," she said before taking another sip of her drink.

"It's the truth, you have a beautiful face and a body many younger women would love to have," Harry told her with complete sincerity.

"So… That means you've been checking my body?" Asked the older woman with a smirk on her face.

Harry was about to say something after he realized what he had just said, they were supposed to be friends, not something else, and yet, it seems like Harry's instincts have betrayed him making him sound like he was interested in going further with her.

"Emma… This isn't what it sounds like I—" Harry tried to explain himself but the older woman raised her hand to stop him.

"Please don't continue Harry… At least let me have that satisfaction even if it's not true, let me pretend that my body caught the attention of the hero of the wizarding world, that little lie soothes my ego," she grabbed her glass to drink more of the alcoholic beverage.

Harry remained in silence as he continued watching the older woman taking more of the drink, he was so enchanted by the sight, and considering that the alcohol hadn't affected them, he knew that all of the things he was feeling right now came from him and not from the heat of the moment that could be caused by his drink, this is something he has felt for a very long time and he was having a hard time accepting it.

"You don't have to pretend Emma… I think you're attractive," Harry suddenly said without thinking twice.

His heart was beating like crazy, there was no coming back from this, he wasn't going to back down, and he was going to bet everything he had on this, if he fails he knew he was going to ruin a nice friendship, but he couldn't stop himself from feeling like this.

The older woman was still speechless, she was staring at his face with a confused expression, she was trying to tell if he was just joking around but after analyzing for so long, she realized that he wasn't lying.

"Harry… But I'm older than you, I'm also Hermione's mom and—" She tried to tell him, but he stopped her.

"I don't care," Harry said with a calm expression. "I don't care about all those things, I'm sorry Emma, but that's the truth, I can't help but find you attractive," Harry tried to convince her he wasn't lying.

The older woman didn't say anything, she remained in her place for a few moments, Harry couldn't help but feel like a loser, it seemed like he had misunderstood her actions, he was just imagining things, someone like her would never date a guy around his age even though he has his life completely figured out.

"Well, I guess we better call it quits, let me take you to your room Emma," Harry said with a serious expression as he tried to hide the disappointment he had about the outcome of this situation.

She didn't say anything, she just looked at Harry who after realizing that she wasn't following him looked back at her.

"Emma… What's going on? Let's go to—" Harry couldn't finish because the older woman suddenly threw herself at him before capturing his lips.

To say that he was surprised would be an understatement, he didn't know what motivated her to act like this because he thought she didn't seem interested in being more than friends, or at least that's the image Harry had about her feelings due to her actions.

But considering the way she was kissing him, there were zero doubts that she was being completely honest right now, and knowing that, it didn't take too long for him to kiss her back.
