After they got done cooking, they sat down to eat their food.
"This is good!" Kagome said, smiling at the food.
Sota gets up from the table, like Inuyasha, pushes his plate to the side
"Where are you going?" Kagome asked her brother.
"I have to play a game with my friends. I should be back in about ten minutes at least?" Sota looked at Kagome.
"Okay, go ahead. I'll see you in ten." Kagome said, getting up from her seat to wash some dishes, before getting ready for bed.
Sota runs upstairs to play his game, as Kagome washes the dishes.
"Where'd he go?" Inuyasha asks, still sitting at the table.
"He went to play a video game." Kagome answers.
Inuyasha looks at her confused. "What's a video game? A demon?"
"No Inuyasha, it's just a game you play on the TV!" Kagome laughs a bit.
"You mean the box thing in the other room?" Inuyasha asks.
Kagome smiles. "Mhm, it's exactly that!"
A few minutes of silence went past as she cleaned.
"Inuyasha can you come to dry the dishes so this can go by faster?" Kagome asked.
Inuyasha walked up to her. "Yeah sure. What do you want me to dry them with?"
Kagome hands him a dry washcloth. "This, and then when they're dry, put them on the shelf."
He nods, beginning to dry and put away the dishes.
Silence floods the room again as they were both too focused on cleaning.
All of a sudden, Inuyasha leans over and kisses Kagome's cheek.
She smiles. "Hey, what was that for?"
Inuyasha then kisses her on her soft lips.
They both melt into the kiss, as they pull each other close.
The half-demon picks up the young girl, and takes her into her bedroom, laying her down.
He gets over her, continuing to kiss her softly. "I need you..." He begins to kiss her neck.
"Inuyasha..." Kagome makes small noises as he kisses her face and neck.
"I love you so much," Inuyasha says against her skin.
She smiles at him. He's not one to say how he feels, but when he does it makes her heart flutter. She's always been happy that he can show her how he truly feels.
"Oh Inu, I love you too." Kagome smiles.
He softly kneads her breasts, making the young girl make small noises.
'Oh Kami how can he make me feel like this...' The young girl thinks.
"Please make this ache go away..." Kagome begs him softly.
Inuyasha starts moving back up to her beautiful face, kissing her once again, slipping his hands up her shirt, as she starts undoing the knot on his kimono.
All of a sudden, her brother knocks on the door, before barging in.
Kagome shoves Inuyasha onto the floor, covering her face.
"I won!" Sota smiles before looking at Inuyasha on the floor.
"Sis, what happened to him?" Sota looks at Inuyasha face-first on the floor.
"Oh he just fell off the bed is all!" Kagome laughs nervously.
Inuyasha grumbles under his breath, sitting against the bed.
"Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go do stuff?" Sota looks at his sister.
Kagome smiles. "Oh, sure. Inuyasha what about you?"
"Umm sure, whatever you want."
They walk downstairs, putting on their shoes.
"Where are we going," Inuyasha asks.
"Oh, well Sota just mentioned if we wanted to go outside and hang out with him, while he does whatever." Kagome looks at the half-demon.
"Are you crazy, Kagome?! It's dark outside! What if you get hurt?!" Inuyasha glares at her.
"Woah, hey it's okay! We have lights outside that make us see! It's not like your era, I promise." Kagome smiles.
He nods slowly, still not sure about the idea.
"It'll be okay!" Kagome looks at him.
"Okay..." He finally gives in, as she drags him outside.
"Well, what d you want to do Sota?" Kagome asks.
"I'm not sure..." The boy ponders for a second. "Oh, I got it! Inuyasha slay me!" The boy says excitedly.
"H-Huh?!" He looks at the boy shocked.
"Not literally! Pretend I'm a demon and slay me!" Sota looks at him.
"Uhhhh..." He looks at Kagome.
"Shush, he's just a kid! Just do whatever!" Kagome whispers.
"Okay kid, but I'm not going easy on you." Inuyasha cracks his knuckles.
"Prepare do die, I'm going to destroy you!" Inuyasha yells.
"Prepare to die, I'm going to destroy you!" Kagome mocks his voice.
"Kagome I don't sound like that, dammit!" Inuyasha scolds her.
She starts laughing. "Yes, you do!"
He rolls his eyes.
"Oh no! A big demon has appeared! Do something!" Kagome says.
"Oh no! A big demon has appeared! Do something!" Inuyasha mocks her, leaping in the air, tackling the young boy, 'slaying' him.
"Inuyasha I don't sound like that!" Kagome shouts.
"Hell yeah, you do!" Inuyasha snickers.
"Shut up." She walks over to where the two boys are.
She lightly hits his arm, before she gets pulled into a hug. Sota gets up joining in too.
Soon, everyone headed inside as it was getting late. The three friends took off their shes and any other extra things they head outside with them. Sota yawned as he put all his stuff away.
"Looks like someone is tired." Inuyasha looked at the little boy.
"Yeah, it's gotten late, I'm going upstairs to head for bed." Sota yawns again, dragging himself up the stairs, as the couple walks behind him.
"Goodnight Sota, I'll see you in the morning," Kagome says as Inuyasha waves.
"Thank you, I'll see you guys in the morning." Sota shuts the door.
Kagome starts off to her bedroom before she felt a familiar clawed hand holding hers. "Kagome...can I talk to you?" Inuyasha questioned.
"Yes, of course!" The young girl smiled at him, walking into her room.
He sat by her on the bed. "Kagome, after watching you tonight, and any other time I'm with you, I realize that I am one lucky person. You've stayed by my side, showed me kindness, cried for me, and even loved me. No one has never done those things to be, since I was half demon...until I met you. Since, I've slowly began to realize that I love you..." Inuyasha said, holding her hands in his.
"Inu..." Kagome began, before Inuyasha put his index finger on her lips.
"Kagome, I'm not sure how people in your world ask this, but...will you become my wife?" Inuyasha looked into her eyes.
"Inuyasha...yes! Yes I would love to!" Kagome hugged him tightly.
"Thank you..." He patted her back softly. "I'm sorry if it wasn't perfect..."
"Silly puppy! That doesn't matter at all!" Kagome bopped hun on the nose. "What matters is that you love me! That's all!"
"Kagome, I promise I'm going to make you the happiest girl in the world..." Inuyasha said softly, rubbing his thumbs over her hands.
Kagome starts crying, making Inuyasha wipe her eyes.
"Don't cry...save it for the wedding." He looks at her.
She smiles, rubbing her eyes. "You're right."
He picks her up in a swift movement. "C'mon, let's get you to bed."
The young girl nods as the half demon carries her over to the bed, tucking her in, before getting in bed next to her.
"Goodnight Kagome...I love you so much..." Inuyasha holds her tightly, closing his eyes.
"I love you too..." She smiles, as they fall into a sleep.
