"Kagome! You're getting married today!" Sango smiled as she fixed Kagome's hair.

"I know, I'm so nervous!" Kagome smiled

It's been a few months since the engagement between the future married couple, and since, they've been planning the wedding non-stop!

"Just think, in a few hours, you're going to be Inuyasha's wife!" Her friend giggled.

"Yeah...Did you have wedding jitters when you got married to Miroku?" Kagome looked down at her fingers.

"Of course I was a little nervous, but when I saw him all my worries went away..." Sango recalled the memory, thinking to herself as she finished Kagome's hair.

Kagome looked up, touching her hair a bit, before looking over at her friend, who was getting the makeup ready.

"Has Inuyasha told you where he's taking you for the honeymoon?" Sango started putting blush on her face.

"Not yet, I think he wants me to figure it out!" Kagome smiled.

Not a moment later a small voice filled the room. "Hi, I was coming in to check on Kagome! I'm just hanging with the guys, along with running back and forth helping Kaede with the last bit of decorations!" Shippo smiles.

"Kagome's doing good, she's a little nervous, but she'll be just fine! What are you doing?"

"Came to check on you two, your husbands want to know what's up, so I came to check before helping Kaede with more things, but you guys seem to be doing okay, so I'll be on my way!" The small fox demon scurries off.

The whole conversation with their small friend was long enough to get Kagome's face all touched up.

"Wow, you look stunning!" Sango exclaims.

"Thank you!" Kagome smiles.

"Here's your dress! It's a traditional kimono that I got for my wedding, but I didn't wind up wearing it, but it'll look pretty on you!" Sango gives it to her.

Of course Kagome needed help from her friend to get the dress on, so she helped her.

Sango looks at her, fixing small wrinkles in her dress. "Kagome, Inuyasha is going to cry when he sees you like this!"

"I don't want him to bawl!" Kagome laughs.

"I'm going to go get the others together, but first we need to get you to the end of the aisle!" Sango says, taking Kagome's hand.

"Wait, there's an aisle?!" Kagome gasps.

"We wanted you to have everything!" Sango smiles, leading her to her designated spot.

Inuyasha stood at the end of the aisle , Miroku beside him and Shippo on Miroku's shoulder. Kagome and Sango were of course out of their sight as Kaede was also at the front, since she was going to wed them.

Kagome and Inuyasha wanted a small wedding so their friends and Kaede were there.

When it was time, Sango led Kagome down the aisle to Inuyasha.

Kagome laid eyes on her husband as she smiled brightly at him.

Sango put Kagome's hands in Inuyasha's as the rest of the group went to their seats.

Kaede looked at them. "Inuyasha? Do you take Kagome to be your wife?"

"Of course I do! Why wouldn't I?!" He looks at Kaede.

"Inuyasha...easy..." Kagome smiles.

Kaede keeps going. "Kagome? Do you take him to be your husband?"

"Yes!"

"Have any of you prepared vows?" Kaede asked.

"I did..." Kagome squeezed Inuyasha's hands softly.

He sensed her nervousness, so he gave her a loving smile, which made her feel better.

Kagome looked at Inuyasha lovingly. "I take you my love, to be my partner, to be true to you, to love you not only for who you are today, but who you will become, to encourage and dream with you, to be your companion, lover, and friend. On this day, I give you my hand and my heart, for all the days of my life, because you are my everything."

Inuyasha looked at her in awe as she smiled at him with the softest smile.

"Inuyasha, what about you?" Kaede asked.

Inuyasha looked at Kagome questionably.

"Vows are to be spoken from the heart...I know they're hard to make up on the spot, so it's okay if you don't have any!"

"No...I do..." He holds her hand softly. "Kagome...I love you for not only who you are, but for who I am when I'm with you. You have made me a better person, and have always believed in me. I think I fell in love with you even before I met you, because if not for that hope of finding true love, how would I be standing here? Life comes with challenges, but with you by my side, we can take on the world together. I love you for all that you are, all that you have been, and all that you are yet to be. If I know what love is...it's because of you."

Kagome had tears in her eyes as Inuyasha rests his forehead against hers. "Kagome and Inuyasha? You may kiss."

Inuyasha cups her cheeks softly, kissing her with the upmost passion, as she returns the kiss just the same.

Everyone started clapping, tears in their eyes for the happy couple.

Everyone hugged each other saying their congratulations, before they said their goodbyes for their honeymoon.

As Inuyasha guides Kagome to the well hand in hand they stood beside it.

"This all started here, isn't that crazy?" Kagome smiles, as she kissed him.

"Yeah, and now I have you. Are you ready to go?" Inuyasha kisses her back softly.

"Mhm!" They smile as they make their way to the other world.

At that moment...it was the beginning of their lives together...
