Chapter 4: Rise of MYTE
"Guess I have no choice." Makoto mused before he stabbed his sword in the ground. He then got his phone out and pressed in the code.
"STANDING BY!"
Everyone, but Ruby who was concerned, looked at him in confusion especially when he raised his arm with the phone.
"Henshin!"
He placed it in the slot before pushing it into the buckle.
"COMPLETE!"
He transformed into Faiz, much to everyone's surprise. He then stared at the Beowolf Orphnoch before flicking his wrist and pulling his sword out.
Faiz soon got into a combat position, ready for combat. The Beowolf Orphnoch simply growled at Faiz before charging. Faiz moved out the way, slashing the Orphnoch in the process.
It rolled on the ground before getting back up and jumping on a tree branch. Faiz and the others kept a close guard until the Grimm Orphnoch jumped down and slashed Faiz a few times before Faiz rolled on the ground.
Faiz got up before charging and the Grimm Orphnoch was about to charge as well but was pushed back by gunfire from Ruby and Echo. Faiz got close enough and slashed the Orphnoch multiple times.
The Orphnoch flew again only to be frozen by Weiss upon landing. Faiz got his Mission Memory out and placed it in his sword.
"READY!"
He opened his phone and pressed Enter.
"EXCEED CHARGE!"
Energy flowed from the belt and into the sword, making the blade glow bright red. He sent a red energy slash which broke the ice cube and trapped the Orphnoch in a red energetic cylinder. Faiz charged before slashing the Orphnoch multiple times.
When he stopped, not only did his sword stop glowing but the Orphnoch had a red Phi mark on him before it exploded in blue flames and crumbling to dust.

The song begins as Makoto looks over a cliff and in the bottom was a ruined facility with the Smart Brain logo.
[They see you as small and helpless. They see you as just a child. Surprise when they find out that a warrior will soon run wild.] As Makoto looks at the facility, in his shadow was the Wolf Orphnoch. He tightly grips the Faiz Gear in his hands as he remembered his mother's dying words.
As the wind blows past him, the title appears.
[Prepare for your greatest moments. Prepare for your finest hour. The dream that you've always dreamed is suddenly about to flower.] Kiba kneels before Dark Decade but there is obviously a troubled look on his face. Echo hides in the woods while gripping on to her weapons. Tiber looks at the city with his sniper before leaving his spot.
[We are lightning. Straying from the thunder. Miracles of ancient wonder.] We see an army of Grimm but they are replaced with an army of Orphnochs. We soon see Leo and Roman in front of a legion of goons. Then we see the members of Lucky Clover and in front of them is the mysterious CEO of Smart Brain. We soon see the members of Team MYTE in a circle, Makoto notices something before the four of them charged.
[This will be the day we've waited for. This will be the day we open up the door. ] While fighting, we soon see the four in their Rider forms fighting the Orphnochs.
[I don't wanna hear your absolution. Hope you're ready for a revolution.] Then we see the members of Team JNPR looking at a statue in front of the school. We soon see Team RWBY practicing their weapons.
[Welcome to a world of new solutions. Welcome to a world of bloody evolution.] We see Ozpin, drinking his coffee, with Goodwitch next to him on an airship.
[In time, your hearts will open minds. A story will be told…] We see each member behind their respective symbols. Then we move in front of Beacon and see every character one by one with the last one being Makoto.
[Because victory is in a simple soul!] We soon see Faiz practicing his sword before stopping when the title appears.
"I never get tired of that armor! It's so cool!" Ruby said before examining Faiz's armor. "But it could use some new features. I can think of a few things."
Weiss was still speechless but Echo had an angry look before walking up to Faiz.
"What's up?" Faiz asked. Echo didn't answer but instead grabbed the phone out of his belt and pressed End Call. Faiz soon reverted back to Makoto with a surprised expression. How did she know to do that?
"You've had Smart Brain technology on you!?" Echo exclaimed, surprising everyone. Makoto and Ruby were surprised because Echo knew about Smart Brain while Weiss recognized Smart Brain as a business partner with her family's company.
"You know about Smart Brain?" Makoto asked, obvious that Echo and most likely her twin as well have some history with the company. Echo cringed a little bit.
"My brother and I crossed paths with them before…and I wished we hadn't." Echo said. "So tell me, are you with them?"
"No, definitely not, I can assure you of that." Makoto assured as Echo just gave him a glare.
Weiss soon got in between them.
"Listen, as much as I want to talk about a company, should I remind you that we still have a trial to complete?" Weiss reminded. She was right, they did have other more important things to worry about. They can worry about Smart Brain later, right now they have to get the artifacts.
"Okay." Echo said, saving her questions for later. "Which way do we go?"
Weiss, then, seemed conflicted.
"I think it's this way." Weiss said before walking in one direction before walking off in another. "I mean this way, it's definitely this way."
The three decided not to move, seeing that Weiss was conflicted. She soon walked up to them.
"Alright, it's official. We passed it." Weiss said.
Ruby decided to speak up.
"Why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going?" She said.
"Because I know exactly where we're going." Weiss answered. "We're going to…the forest temple."
Ruby grunted, Makoto sighed, and Echo slapped her forehead.
"Oh stop it! You guys don't know where we are either!" Weiss pointed out.
"Well, at least we're not pretending that we know everything!" Ruby barked back.
"What is that supposed to mean!?" Weiss asked.
"It means you're a big stupid jerk and I hate you!" Ruby answered.
"Should we do something?" Makoto whispered to Echo.
"I'd rather just get popcorn and see how this plays out." Echo answered, glad that someone is barking back at the Ice Queen.
"Just keep moving." Weiss said as she moved before Ruby tried imitating Weiss.
"Just keep moving. Hurry up! Wah, watch you're going! Why are you so bossy!?"
"I am not bossy! Don't say things like that!"
"You're kind of proving her point." Echo stated, earning a glare from Weiss.
"Then stop treating me like a little kid!" Ruby barked at Weiss.
"Stop acting like a kid!"
"Well, stop acting like you're perfect!"
"I'm not perfect!"
"Wow, she's actually a little humble." Makoto remarked.
"Not yet, but I'm still leads better than you." Weiss said before walking away.
"You were saying?" Echo asked.
"Just be quiet…" Makoto answered while Ruby looked down.
"You don't even know me…" She sadly muttered. Makoto placed his hand on her shoulder, surprising her.
"Look I don't know what issue you guys are having, but we have to stick through this, even if it means putting up with her."
"But, I just want her to know that I'm not a kid!" Ruby said.
"Look, if it means anything, I don't think you're a kid." Makoto said, making Ruby look at him. "You maybe a bit young but you did something right to get here. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before Weiss sees it."
"You…you think so?"
"It's worth a shot." Makoto said.
Ruby smiled and nodded before going off in Weiss's direction. Echo looked at Makoto.
"So tell me, you an Orphnoch?" Echo asked. Makoto sweatdropped at the question.
"You know about those too, huh?"
"Like I said, 'crossed paths'." Echo explained before Makoto started walking in the others' direction.
"Tell you what, we make it out of this, I'll give you an answer." Makoto said before catching up with Ruby and Weiss. Echo soon followed.
(With the others)
Kiba, Tiber, Yang, and Blake have just arrived at the temple.
"Think this is it?" Yang asked.
"Only one way to find out." Tiber said before he and Blake went to check it out. Soon Yang and Kiba were about to follow them.
"By the way, I saw you and some other guy talking with my little sister. What's that about?" Yang asked.
"Rose is your sister? You guys don't look alike nor do you have the same last name." Kiba pointed out.
"Not the point. What were you two talking about with sister?" Yang asked again.
"If she didn't tell you, I won't either. You want something cleared up, take it up with her." Kiba advised.
"Fine, but let me be clear on one thing, if I find out you guys talked bad stuff to her, you'll wish that death is at your doorstep.' Yang warned, clearly protective of her sister.
"Noted." Kiba answered. 'Even though I've died before.' He thought. Soon they saw chess pieces on pedestals. They all examined them.
"Chess pieces?" Blake observed.
"Some of them are missing. Looks like we weren't the first ones here." Yang noted.
"I guess we should start picking." Blake said. Yang and Kiba looked. Yang picked up a white knight piece while Kiba picked a black one.
"How about a cute little pony?" Yang asked.
"Sure." Blake said.
"Well, it'll have to do." Tiber said as he looked at Kiba's piece.
"That wasn't too hard." Yang said before they started hearing growling. The four looked and saw a few Ursas coming their way.
"You and your big mouth." Kiba said as he transformed his sword into its rifle mode while Tiber switched Bianca into its sniper mode. Yang shook off the comment before she charged with her gauntlet and started punching a few of them.
Blake splits her Gambol Shroud into two and followed. The two boys were shooting until an Ursa was about to pounce on Kiba.
"Look out!" Tiber said before transforming Bianca into its lance mode and pierced the Ursa in its abdomen.
"Thanks." Kiba said before transforming his gun back into its default sword mode and charged before stabbing one in the back that was heading for Yang.
Yang was pummeling another one in the face and Blake was slicing one into bits. The three soon continued their battle with Tiber getting headshots off a few of them. Soon they were done.
"Like I said, wasn't too har-."
Before Yang could finish, an Ursa's body started twitching until its eyes opened with a blue color. It got up and roared as its body was consumed by blue flames. The flames faded, the Ursa was bigger, had blue markings instead of red, and its entire body was gray.
'Orphnoch!' Kiba recognized.
"So, it just got a makeover big deal." Yang said before charging.
"Yang, wait!" Kiba said but it was already too late. Yang punched the Grimm a few times but to her surprise and everyone else's, the Grimm Orphnoch shook it off before knocking Yang to the side.
Blake went in next and used her speed to try and evade but the Orphnoch knew where she was going and knocked her to the side with Yang as well. It soon looked at the two boys and charged with them rolling out of the way.
Tiber just tried sniping while Kiba got his phone out and typed 0-0-0 before revealing the belt around his waist. He soon pressed Enter.
"STANDING BY!" It said in a deep tone of voice. Everyone looked to see what he was doing.
"Henshin!"
He placed the phone in the slot and pushed it to the buckle.
"COMPLETE!"
Gold neon lines surrounded Kiba's body until a bright light took place and when it faded, Kiba was replaced with Orga.
The Ursa Orphnoch looked at him and roared before charging. Orga gripped his sword before dodging the charging before slashing it in the back, making it roar in pain.
"What kind of armor is that?" Yang asked as Orga was slashing.
Blake was too surprised to listen while Tiber looked like he saw a ghost.
"Isn't that…?" He let out.
Orga switched his sword into its rifle mode and fired at the Orphnoch. It moaned in pain as sparks were flying off its armor.
As he was firing, Tiber join in the shooting as well.
"C'mon, I'm not letting them have all the fun at this." Yang said before she and Blake joined in on the shooting.
The Grimm Orphnoch was just taking shots to the chest as everyone soon ran out of ammo. Orga saw this as a perfect opportunity to finish it off.
He switched his sword into its rifle mode and inserted the Mission Memory from belt into it.
"READY!"
He opened his compartment in his sword, revealing a speaker. He spoke into it.
"Check!"
"EXCEED CHARGE!"
Energy traveled from his belt and into the gun. Orga fired and when the shot got close to the Grimm Orphoch, it transformed into a golden energy cone. The cone paralyzed the Orphnoch and Orga ran before jumping up in the air.
Orga dove into the cone, turning into energy, and the drill struck the Orphnoch's chest. It tore right through him as Orga reappeared behind the Orphnoch. A golden Omega sign appeared on the Grimm Orphnoch before its body exploded into blue flames before crumbling as dust.
Everyone eased up and walked towards Orga. Orga got his phone out and pressed End Call, reverting him back to Kiba.
"Fancy armor, Golden boy." Yang said.
"I haven't seen technology like it. Where did it come from?" Blake asked, very curious about it.
"It's-." Kiba started.
"Smart Brain, right?" Tiber asked, slightly surprising Kiba while the others were completely surprised.
"You know?" Kiba asked.
"My sister and I…met them once before. It wasn't exactly a happy memory." Tiber answered, as he remembered certain events.
"If it means anything, I'm not with them." Kiba said before looking at Yang. "Now, what were you saying? This is wasn't too what?"
Yang just smiled as she scratched the back of her head.
"I think I pushed Lady Luck enough today." She smiled.
"But she does have a point though." Blake said. "It's not like this place was hard to find…" Blake said before noticed something in the sky and soon a scream was heard throughout the forest. Tiber looked as well before his jaw opened from surprise.
"Guys, did you hear that? What should we do?" Yang asked.
"Heads up!" A falling Ruby yelled.
(Minutes ago)
In order to get a better view on locating the temple, Ruby suggested that they climb to get a vantage point, which did sounded like a good idea even to Weiss. Only problem was…it was from a flying Nevermore Grimm. All four of them were hanging for dear life on the raven-like monster as it was soaring through the air.
"Ruby! I told you this was a terrible idea!" Weiss scolded as she hung on to the Grimm. She and Ruby hung on one side while Makoto and Echo were on the other.
"You said that a vantage point would be a great idea!" Echo said from her side.
"To be fair, I didn't even consider that our vantage point would be from a Grimm!" Weiss argued.
"Can you two stop worrying about it!?" Makoto exclaimed from his end.
"He's right! We're fine, don't worry!" Ruby agreed.
"I am so far beyond worrying!" Weiss screamed.
"In a good way!?" Ruby asked.
"In a bad way! In a very bad way!" Weiss answered.
"Well, why don't we just jump!?" Ruby asked, seeing that Weiss doesn't approve of this plan anymore.
"I'm all for it!" Makoto said. They could jump off now and find the temple easily now in the air.
"Are you two insane!?" Weiss asked.
Instead of an answer, the girls could see that Makoto and Ruby were gone.
"Oh, you insufferable red-!" Weiss started.
"Screw it!" Echo said to herself before jumping off herself. She and Makoto were falling together but on the bright side, they could see that the temple was very close from where they are. Before they could see who was there, they crashed-landed on a black soft surface. They bounced off and Makoto noticed that his sword was on that black surface. He walked over and pulled it out.
When he did, the two notice that surface was soon on blue fire and it rose, revealing a very huge creature.
"Echo?" Makoto started.
"Yeah?"
"Run?"
"Run." Echo said, finally agreeing with Makoto over something. The two soon ran off to the temple's location.
(At the temple)
"Blake, Tiber, you guys hear that? What should we do?" Yang asked as she waved her hand in front of them.
"What's up with you two?" Kiba asked next.
'"Up." Tiber answered while Blake pointed upwards as well. The other two looked up to see a falling Ruby heading for their position.
"Heads up!" Ruby screamed as she was falling. Before impact can occur, Ruby was struck by Jaune in a mid-air intercept. The two crashed in a tree and Ruby was sitting on branch with swirly eyes, seeing Beowolves. "What was that?" She wondered before shaking her head, clearing her mind.
She soon heard someone and looked to see Jaune hanging upside down from the branch above her.
"Hey, Ruby." Jaune greeted. Meanwhile everyone was confused over what just happened.
"Did your sister just fall out of the sky?" Blake asked.
"I-." Yang started but before they heard a roar. The four kept their guard up as they saw a rampaging Ursa.
"Yee-haw!" A female voice said before the Ursa fell dead, revealing Nora at its back. She got off and noticed the Ursa's state. "Aww, it's broken." She pouted. Nora examined it while Ren caught up.
"Nora…please, don't ever do that again." Ren pleaded as he was catching his breath. He looked up to see Nora missing. He looked around and saw Nora looking at a white bishop piece. She picked it up and cheered.
"I'm queen of the castle! I'm queen of the castle!" She sang while the others were staring at her.
"Nora!" Ren called.
"Coming, Ren!" Nora answered before skipping towards him.
"Did that girl just came here riding an Ursa?" Blake asked.
"I-." Yang started. Neither of the three could find the right words. They soon heard two roars from opposite ends of the forest. Out of one end came Pyrrha running from a huge Death Stalker while in the other end came Makoto and Echo running from a new big Grimm Orphnoch. It was big, had four legs, and had three dog heads.
"Echo!?" Tiber recognized.
"Tiber!?" Echo recognized back.
'Is that an Orphnoch?' Kiba thought as he looked at the Cerberus Orphnoch, that were firing blue fireballs at Makoto and Echo.
"Jaune!" Pyrrha called as she was dodging the Death Stalker's pincers.
Jaune looked and saw her before trying to get down.
"Pyrrha!"
"Woah!" Ruby remarked before jumping off the branch.
"Ruby!" Jaune called, who is now a little too late on calling for help from the scythe wield girl. She landed near Yang.
"Ruby!" Yang called.
"Yang!"
But before the family reunion can occur, they interrupted by…
"Nora!" Nora said as she got in between them.
The Death Stalker and Cerberus Orphnoch roared as they chased down their prey.
"Did those three just run all the way here with those Grimm at their tails?" Blake asked. Tiber and Kiba seemed just as confused as she was while Yang looked like a fuse was about to go off in her head, which it did.
"I can't take it anymore!" Yang screamed after bursting a few flames from her body and her eyes turned red. "Can everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again!" Yang screamed, putting emphasis on "crazy". Ren then caught up with the group.
Ruby just remembered something and tugged on Yang's jacket. Yang then just gave up on it.
"Um…Yang?" Ruby called before pointing upwards.
"How could you leave me!?" Weiss screamed as she was still hanging on the Nevermore's talon.
Everyone, who was being chased or stuck, was looking at the Nevermore.
"I said 'jump'." Ruby pointed out.
"She's gonna fall." Blake plainly said.
"She'll be fine." Ruby said.
"She's falling." Ren said as they soon saw Weiss falling. Meanwhile, Kiba and Tiber were looking at the Cerberus Orphnoch chasing Makoto and Echo.
"Hey, you think you can use your armor to help?"
"I don't know." Kiba answered as he was watching the others being chased. "I prefer to keep my armor a secret."
"C'mon, that's my little twin sister. Please, I'll owe you one." Tiber begged.
Kiba thought about it. He could care less about humans right now but he had to blend in plus he wasn't that heartless.
"I do this. You'll owe me and you have to find some way to get these guys to be quiet about it. Deal?" Kiba asked.
"Fine, just do it!" Tiber said. Kiba pulled out his phone and typed in his code before pressing Enter.
"STANDING BY!"
Everyone looked at him.
"Henshin!"
He placed the phone in its slot before pushing it into the buckle.
"COMPLETE!"
Kiba transformed into Orga, much to the newcomers' surprise. He quickly placed his Mission Memory in his sword.
"READY!"
He quickly pressed Enter on the Phone.
"EXCEED CHARGE!"
Energy traveled from his belt and into his sword, creating an extended photon blade. Everyone watched in awe as Orga used the sword to lift the Cerberus Orphnoch but it was obvious he couldn't carry him for long. Orga quickly lifted his blade and threw him a few feet away from where their current location.
"That was so cool!" Nora said.
Orga just took a deep breath as he reverted back to Kiba while Echo and Makoto walked up to them. He couldn't make another transformation, not for a few minutes anyways.
"I owe you." Tiber said.
"You do." Kiba answered as he continued taking deep breaths and sweated a little bit.
"You two okay?" Tiber asked.
"I'm fine." Echo plainly answered.
"Did you really have to transform now?" Makoto asked.
"Well-." Kiba was about to say something until they see Jaune and Weiss crash land in front of them and the others.
"My hero…" Weiss sarcastically said.
"My back…" Jaune groaned.
Tiber offered a hand to help Weiss up and she took it. Soon everyone saw the Death Stalker knock Pyrrha to where they are.
"Great, the gang's all here. Now we can die together!" Yang cheered.
"Not if I have anything to say about." Ruby said before charging at the Death Stalker.
"Ruby, wait!" Yang and Makoto called but Ruby charged regardless. She got Crescent Rose out and charged at high speed but the Grimm knocked her away.
"D-Don't worry! Totally fine!" Ruby assured before the Death Stalker was face-to-face with her. She got into a combat position before firing but the Grimm shook off the bullet. She then sheathed her weapon and decided to run as the Death Stalker was starting to chase her.
Makoto got on his phone and typed a number while Yang tried to get to Ruby. He pressed Enter.
"BLASTER MODE!"
He turned his phone into a gun and fired but the Death Stalker was shaking off the blasts and ignored them.
"Ruby!" Yang called.
Ruby was still running and saw the Nevermore, wanting to join in as well. It stopped and fired its razor-sharp feathers, pinning Ruby's cape and barricading Yang.
"Damn it…" Makoto muttered as he doesn't have a clear shot anymore. He just typed a different code before putting the phone away.
"CHARGE!"
Ruby was desperately trying to get her cape out while Yang looked scared for her little sister.
"Ruby, get out of there!" Yang hurried.
"I'm trying!" Ruby answered back before she saw the Death Stalker preparing to stab her with its tail.
"Ruby!" Yang called before a white blue past her.
Ruby closed her eyes as the end seemed inevitable but instead of pain, she just heard from a familiar voice…
"You are so childish!"
Ruby opened her eyes and saw the tail frozen. In front of her was Weiss with her rapier stabbed in the ground.
"Weiss?"
"And dimwitted and hyperactive. And, don't even get me started on your fighting style." Weiss scolded. "And I suppose, I can be a bit…difficult but if we're going to do this then we're going to have to do this…together. So if you quit trying to show off, I'll be…nicer." Weiss said, much to Ruby's surprise.
"I'm not trying to show off. I want you to know I can do this." Ruby explained. Weiss has been treating her like a child since they've met and Ruby wants her to know that she isn't.
"Trust me, you're fine." Weiss said as she walked away from her. Ruby smiled as she closed her eyes.
"…Normal knees…" She muttered before going to look at the Death Stalker. "Woah!" She said as the Death Stalker was trying to pull its tail out of the ice. Ruby turned around only to be bear hugged by Yang.
"I'm just so happy that you're okay!" Yang said.
"Just don't do something that stupid again." Makoto said as he walked up to them. Everyone looked up and saw the Nevermore circling around them. It roared as it flew.
"Guys, that thing's circling back!" Jaune pointed out. Soon they heard barking from not that far away.
"And I think Fido wants to play with us again!" Tiber said.
"What are we gonna do?" Jaune asked before Weiss stepped up.
"Look there's no sense in dilly-dallying." Weiss said.
"She's right." Ruby agreed. "Our mission it to grab an artifact and bring it back to the cliffs."
Weiss smiled before Ruby gave her a nod.
"There's no point in fighting these things." Ruby said. She was right, they were told just to bring an artifact, not fight Grimm.
"Run and live, that's an idea that I can get behind." Jaune smiled.
"Great plan, I'm excited to be a part of this." Echo sincerely said.
Makoto, Ruby, and Jaune walked up to the artifacts. Ruby grabbed a white knight, Jaune grabbed a white bishop, while Makoto grabbed a black knight.
The three looked at each other with smiling faces before nodding to each other.
The ice that was holding the Death Stalker's tail was starting to break and the Cerberus Orphnoch's bark was getting close.
"It's time we left!" Ren said.
"Right!" Ruby nodded back. Kiba looked at Makoto.
"If it comes, we're gonna have to transform." Kiba said.
"But in front of everyone…" Makoto worried, he wanted to keep his armor a secret. Showing it to a few others were bad enough.
"They already know my secret." Kiba pointed out. "What's more important? Your secret or their lives?" Kiba asked, wanting to get out of this.
Makoto just stared at him.
"Let's go!" Ruby instructed before everyone ran in her direction. Yang just couldn't help but smile. Blake and Kiba noticed this.
"Is something wrong?" Blake asked.
"Nothing." Yang answered before taking off obviously proud of her little sister. Kiba and Blake just stared at each other before running as well.
Everyone went further in the ruins to see ancient structures and temple. The Nevermore was circling around the tower. It soon landed on it and screeched.
"Well, that's great!" Yang sarcastically said.
Jaune and Makoto looked back to see not only the Death Stalker but the Cerberus Orphnoch as well heading for them.
"Oh great! Run!" Jaune said before everyone ran. The Nevermore soon started to fly.
"Nora, distract it!" Ren instructed as he ran. Nora pulled out a silver grenade launcher before she opened fire while dodging its razor sharp feathers.
The Nevermore was flying around from the grenades before the Death Stalker appeared behind Nora. Just before it was about to attack, Echo and Ren engaged it while Weiss pulled Nora away from it. The Cerberus Orphnoch would've joined in if it wasn't for Blake and Makoto slashing at it.
Soon everyone decided to run. As they were running, Makoto looked at Kiba.
"Okay, let's do it!" Makoto said, making up his mind. He wasn't going to let anyone die and even if his secret as being a Rider is exposed, he was sure they can keep quiet.
"Right!" Kiba answered. As they were running, they both got their phones out and typed in their codes before pressing Enter. They closed their phones.
"STANDING BY!"
"Henshin!"
They placed their phones in their rightful place in the belts.
"COMPLETE!"
Makoto and Kiba transformed into Faiz and Orga, much to everyone's surprise who hasn't seen at least one of the armors by now.
Pyrrha soon stopped before taking out her rifle.
"Go! Go!" She prompted before firing at the Death Stalker with her rifle. Ren, Tiber, and Orga joined her. They soon ran back but continued firing.
The Cerberus Orphnoch jumped and landed on the eastward bridge. Its three heads fired blue fireballs when Blake finally joined them. As everyone was running, one of the fireballs destroyed the bridge that they were on followed by an aerial assault by the Nevermore.
Faiz, Echo, Ruby, Yang, Weiss, Nora, and Jaune were on one side while the others were at the others were at the other side fighting the Death Stalker.
"Aw man, we gotta get over there! They need help!" Jaune said, seeing how bad their situation is. Nora saw it as well.
"Let's do this!" She said determined. But Jaune looked down and saw the big gap between them and the others.
"Yeah, but…I can't make that jump." Jaune admitted. Nora smiled as she knocked Jaune aside and transformed her grenade launcher into a two-handed warhammer. She jumped at the end and quickly turned around. Jaune sees what she's about to do. "No, wait-!"
Nora smashed the other ender, using the bridge as a catapult to launch Jaune. She then got on and fired the Magnhild next to propel herself to the other end. Jaune landed in between Tiber and Orga, making them fall while Nora smashed the Death Stalker. She saw that it was about to fight back so she backed up before it did.
Luckily, Nora blocked it only for her to push Blake off the bridge.
As the three were falling, Tiber fired Bianca's lance with a grappling roe attached, the lance struck the bridge that Faiz and Echo were on while they were fighting the Cerberus Orphnoch. Tiber grabbed Orga's hand before the rope pulled them in. Blake got Gambol Shroud out and wrapped some black ribbon around it. She fired it on a pillar before swinging and landing on the Nevermore. Meanwhile Tiber and Orga soon flew through the air landed on the Cerberus Orphnoch.
Meanwhile Blake was striking the Nevermore with all she's got before landing on the ruins with Ruby and the other girls.
"It's tougher than it looks!" Blake remarked.
"Then let's hit with everything we got!" Yang said before all the girls started using long range attacks.
The Nevermore took too many hits and drove through the tower. The girls were jumping over the rocks while the Riders and the twins were still fighting the Ceberus Orphnoch.
Orga stabbed the left head while Tiber got the right. The middle head growled in pain as its other two heads fell silent. Orga and Tiber jumped off and joined the other two.
Tiber and Orga got their rifles while Faiz and Echo had their guns. They fired while the girls dealing with the Nevermore were stumped.

"None of this is working." Weiss said frustrated. Ruby seemed to think of something until an idea went off in her head as she looked at Yang and Blake.
"I have a plan. Cover me!" Ruby said before taking off and Weiss charged at the monster.
Soon the part of the bridge where Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, and Ren were was starting to fall apart.
"We gotta move!" Jaune said before all four charged.
Pyrrha blocked an incoming pincer before slashing it. Jaune blocked the next one before the Death Stalker dodged Pyrrha's next attack. Ren then came running in and firing both StormFlowers.
Ren dodged the tail before jumping on started shooting its weak points. As Ren was shooting, Nora transformed Magnhild into a grenade launcher and started firing. Jaune and Pyrrha were pushed back but Nora's grenades were preventing the Death Stalker from making any advancement. Pyrrha used the distraction to throw her javelin, piercing the Death Stalker in the eye.
It then threw Ren aside. He landed against a pillar before landing on the grass.
"Ren!" Nora called.
Jaune got up and saw the poison end of the tail dangling. He then got an idea.
"Pyrrha!" Jaune called. Pyrrha knows what he's up to.
"Done!" Pyrrha said before throwing her shield like a disk, cutting off the tail. It landed on the head as the shield flew back to its owner.
"Nora, nail it!" Jaune instructed.
"Heads up!" Nora answered before jumping on Pyrrha's shield. She launched her in the air and Nora smiled before getting her hammer ready. She flew in and used her hammer to fly at a fast speed. She soon hammered the tail in the head before Jaune and Pyrrha were propelled away by the crumbling bridge being used as a catapult.
Nora soon joined them as the Death Stalker fell to its doom. All three landed while Ren walked up to them before falling face first on the floor. They turned around and saw how the others were doing.
With the girls, Yang was firing from her gauntlets before seeing the Nevermore coming for her. She jumped into its mouth but held its upper beak up as she started firing into the mouth.
"I! Hope! You're! Hungry!" Yang said before jumping off and landing on the bridge. The Nevermore crashed with the cliff before landing on a temple behind Yang. It soon roared then Yang looked up and smiled when saw Ruby in position and Blake getting ready.
Yang switched place with Weiss, who went up to the Nevermore's tail and trapped it in ice, preventing further flight. She went back to where the others were.
Blake attached one part of Gambol Shroud to the pillar before sending the other part to Yang on the pillar across. Yang attached showing a huge black ribbon between the two pillars. The two got on both ends to keep the ribbon tight.
Ruby jumped on with her scythe's blade on her feet. She flew back to Weiss, who summoned a black seal to hold her and the ribbon.
"Of course you would come up with this idea." Weiss said.
"Think you can make the shot?" An anticipated Ruby asked.
Weiss smiled.
"Can I?" She replied, which didn't give Ruby confidence.
"Can-?"
"Of course I can!" Weiss answered. Ruby prepared herself before launching Ruby across the sky, leaving a path of red rose petals.
Crescent Rose's blade caught the Nevermore's neck while Ruby's feet were on the cliff. Weiss then summoned a path for her to follow. Ruby ran, dragging the Nevermore with her as Crescent Rose was recoiling from shots that Ruby was firing. Soon at the top, the Nevemore's head finally came off with Ruby landing on the cliff with her scythe.

She turned and saw the last four still fighting the Cerberus Orphnoch.

Tiber and Echo were shooting from pillars at the Grimm Orphnoch's upper body. Meanwhile Faiz and Orga were at the lower body. They were slashing the legs before stabbing the knee points, the Ceberus Orphnoch roared in pain as its upper body was about to fall.
"Let's move!" Faiz instructed before he and Orga moved out of the giant Orphnoch's path and were on in front of it. "Kiba, you know what to do next!"
Orga nodded as he quickly placed the Mission Memory in his sword.
"READY!"
He quickly pressed Enter.
"EXCEED CHARGE!"
Soon Orga's blade had that big photon blade extension. He used that to lift the Cerberus Orphnoch up again before pinning it against a wall through a temple.
"Twins!" Faiz called. Echo and Tiber looked back and nodded. The two ran to opposite sides of the temple.
"Now be a…!" Echo started as she got her Twin blades out and stabbed its left palm against the wall.
"…good doggy!" Tiber finished as he pierced the right palm with Bianca in lance mode. Cerberus roared in pain as it couldn't move anymore. Faiz got his Faiz Pointer out and attached it on while putting the Mission Memory in.
"READY!"
Orga moved his blade back, allowing Faiz to jump on the photon blade extension.
"You think this crazy idea could work?" Orga asked.
"It's not an idea." Faiz answered. "But I will say it's crazy."
Orga smiled underneath his helmet.
"Good enough for me!" Orga said before he quickly pointed his blade upwards, launching Faiz in the air, who pressed the Enter button on his Phone.
"EXCEED CHARGE!"
Faiz got in a sidekick position as his Pointer fired a red laser which soon turned in the energy cone. Faiz dove into it and the cone was launched at a high speed. It was a matter of time before the drill landed in Cerberus. The Cerberus Orphnoch roared in pain as the drill tore through it.
Soon Faiz appeared behind the Orphnoch before a huge red Phi sign appeared on the Orphnoch's body. It soon exploded into a massive ball of blue flames before its body crumbled away.

"Wow…" Ruby remarked as well as everyone else.
"Well…that was a thing." Yang commented.
(Later a Beacon's Assembly Arena)
Ozpin was congratulating the surviving students and forming teams.
"Russel Thrush, Cardin Winchester, Dove Bronzewing, and Sky Lark." Ozpin called as all four boys were in front of him. "The four of you retrieved the Black Bishop pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team CRDL. Led by…Cardin Winchester."
Everyone clapped before the next four came up.
"Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, and Nora Valkyrie." Ozpin called as the four walked up to him. "The four of you retrieved the White Rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team JNPR. Led by…Jaune Arc." Ozpin said before Nora hugged Ren out of joy while Jaune was surprised.
"Huh? Led by?" Jaune said who couldn't believe what he was hearing.
"Congratulations, young man." Ozpin said before Pyrrha playfully punched Jaune in the shoulder, which pushed him in the ground.
Jaune was too shocked about the position he was given to comment while Pyrrha just smiled. Ozpin soon called the next four.
"Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long." Ozpin called before the four girls appeared before him. "The four of you retrieved the White Knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team RWBY. Led by…Ruby Rose." Ozpin said, surprising everyone even Weiss.
"I'm so proud of you!" Yang said before hugging her little sister.
Ozpin then called the final team.
"Makoto Inui, Yuji Kiba, Tiber Setimus, and Echo Setimus." Soon those four appeared before him. "The four of you retrieved the Black Knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as Team MYTE. Led by…Makoto Inui."
"Me?" Makoto said out of disbelief.
Ozpin nodded as confirmation.
"Nice job." Tiber said.
"Whatever…Boss." Echo shook off while Kiba smiled for him.
'Now, I'm closer to him…' Kiba thought.
"Looks like things are shaping up to be an…interesting year." Ozpin commented.
(In Roman's warehouse)
In front of Roman and Leo was a map of Vale while a masked man brought a cart of Dust crystals. Roman laid down some cards for the masked man to take.
"Open it." Roman ordered before the man showed the amount of Dust Crystals that the cart has. Roman examined a blue crystal. "We're gonna need more men."
"And I know just who to talk to." Leo said before his phone rang. "What is it?"
"We're taking heavy losses in the Industrial District! We need help!"
Leo hung up the phone.
"Sorry, some idiots need me." Leo said before walking off.
(In the Industrial District)
Psyga arrived and saw the Tiger Orphnoch finishing off another one of his men before turning back to Cole.
"I was waiting for you." Cole said.
"And here I am. What? Are you looking for another butt whooping?" Psyga asked as he pointed his guns at him Cole just smirked.
"Actually, this time I'm going to finish what I started." Cole explained before revealing a…belt on him. Psyga recognized it.
"That's-!"
Cole got out a side flip swing phone and typed 9-1-3.
"STANDING BY!"
Cole smiled as he closed the phone.
"Henshin."
He placed the phone in the slot before pushing it into the buckle.
"COMPLETE!"
Yellow neon lines surrounded his body before he transformed into another Rider. He had a black bodysuit with yellow lines all over it. His chest had gray armor with yellow lines running across it in an X, with the edges pointing out from his shoulders to make shoulder pads. His helmet was mainly black with a purple visor that was separated by a yellow Chi symbol.
"Kaixa!" Psyga recognized. Kaixa looked at himself.
"I knew I had to wait a while for this but when I reported about you to Smart Brain…they practically just gave it away to me." Kaixa said before he got his Blaygun and placed the Mission Memory in it.
"READY!"
A yellow blade appeared attached underneath the gun. Kaixa then charged.

Makoto, Tiber, Kiba, and Echo were playing Pictionary. Makoto was drawing something with very big eyes and wild blue hair.
"A monster!" Kiba guessed.
"A toy!" Tiber guessed.
"A troll doll!" Kiba guessed.
"A hideous monster!" Tiber guessed.
"No, it's Echo." Makoto said while Echo had big eyes and wild blue hair now.
"You guys are dicks." Echo commented.
