Percy was still walking around the streets, he made his way back to camp. When he got back to camp, the sound of something crash-landing could be heard, and out of a crater, Leo appeared out of it; Festus in ruin and Calypso were by his side, holding his hand.

Leo had managed to survive and bring back Calypso.

Percy had to rub his eyes, he was surprised "LEO!" He yelled in surprise, he made his way over and hugged him. "I thought… that you died…" He felt tears come to his eyes.

After the two hugged, Leo looked around, as if wondering why Percy was alone, but there was an understanding in his eyes. "Is... Is everyone gone?"

Percy nodded grimly, "Everyone except Neeks and I. We were both made gods against our will."

Calypso frowned. "Neeks?"

"Nico." Percy explained; she glanced at Leo, who mimed something that apparently made sense to her.

Little did Percy know that Nico was in the shadows, listening and watching. It wasn't hard; Festus had caused such a crash that there were enough places in the shadows for him to squeeze into, nevermind the fact he didn't even need to physically be there. He could've used the Shadows as his eyes–

But he liked being there. A remnant from his days as a mortal.

A shiver went up Percy's spine, but he ignored it in favor of pulling Leo into another surprise hug, offering one to Calypso when he let go. She shook her head, and that was that.

"So," He said. "You two… staying? Camp's alive, despite the damage."

Leo nodded, "We don't have anywhere else, I'll help Chiron rebuild, as you and Nico have godly duties now-"

Percy looked at him, "I will try and help rebuild the camp when I can, when I'm not too busy."

Nico was still watching, not moving. He would help rebuild when he could but at the moment he was furious with Percy, his anger could be seen on his face whereas when Nico studied Percy's face, he could see Percy seemed relaxed. Could Percy really not be angry? Or was he that good at masking his feelings? He would never know.

Once Percy had finished talking to Leo, he headed to the beach; the water was gray. It was almost as if Poseidon was depressed and the sea reflected his emotions. Percy dipped his feet into the sea, watching as the now-gray water swirled around his legs.

His head twitched as he heard loud squealing and some yelling in the distance; evidently, Harley and the others' had found Leo and Calypso. He almost smiled, his reflection in the water nothing more than a green-blue glow.

There was a soft breeze coming over the water, ruffling at his hair; it calmed him, almost, peace curling in his heart as he let his father's domain– his domain– wash over his head as he walked into the water.

As he started to swim towards Atlantis, he passed by where Annabeth and he shared their first kiss, and his heart broke a little but he kept swimming until he got to the gates.

Meanwhile, Nico had stepped out of the shadows to greet Leo. Despite having hardly known each other, they did know each other; Leo had come back from the dead, and it was his duty to understand how.

Nico looked at Leo "Valdez, how did you come back from the dead?" Nico asked bluntly.

The latino elf looked at Nico, "The Physician's Cure; it was inside Festus when the Argo II blew up and once I died he gave it to me, bringing me back to life."

Nico looked at him, eyes narrowed. "Hm.."

Leo seemed to squirm under Nico's glaze. Then the shadows wrapped around Nico, and he started to disappear back to the underworld. But the shadows had a different idea, instead of taking Nico to the underworld, they seemed to take him to a locked room.

In the locked room was none other than Perseus Jackson; the tides had done the same to him. They were both here and they didn't know why, maybe it was their destiny to end up together– or maybe it was just so they could say sorry to each other.

Nico let out a long sigh; Percy looked at everything but at Nico. Upon realizing they were in a locked room, he frowned.

"Where.. Where are we?" Percy asked, finally looking at Nico.

Nico glared at Percy, "How the hell am I supposed to know!"

"I was asking! It was a general question, Neeks." He said.

The room they were in was made of all gray concrete with no furnishing in it. It reminded Percy of a room in an asylum. His mouth went dry; if the tides brought him here, as they sometimes did… who controlled them? The one person that came to mind was his father.

Nico had the same question running through his mind, who was strong enough to influence the shadows to bring him to this place? Hades, maybe; Erebus, perhaps, but rarely did his father take him onto another path, and Erebus had been quiet for a long time.

The two were silent, so focused on their own thoughts that they almost missed the appearance of a letter.

It read: 'Neither of you are leaving until you get along again. Signed, Hades and Poseidon.'

"Sons of a bitch." Percy muttered, insulting his father, uncle and grandmother all in one go.

"Rhea's nice." Nico said. "Leave her out of this."

"When did you meet Rhea?"

"Hestia had invited her for tea. I just happened to be there." He shrugged. "I'm never taking a job for my dad or yours' for the next hundred years once we get out."

"You and me both, Nico." Percy agreed.

Nico sighed again, slumping against the wall. Percy sat and leaned against the wall on the other side of the room; it was actually quite a small room, and if he stretched his legs out, he could reach Nico's legs. He almost did– if only for comfort– but Nico glared at his extending foot and he slowly pulled back.

"...I'm sorry." Nico spoke, looking his crush in the eyes.

"I'm sorry as well Neeks, I let my emotions get the better of me." Percy said, his head held low.

For a moment, they both stared at each other, as if unsure what to do. There wasn't anything to do, considering it was a locked room with concrete walls and no furniture. Percy's eyes darted about Nico's face; again, he marveled at how Nico had changed over the years, despite his godhood.

His hair was longer and looked softer, rather than coarse and greasy; his form had filled out a bit, his eyes were brighter, his lips were no longer cracked and bleeding…

Percy wondered how he had changed.

"You're staring." Nico said, his gaze almost mistrustful.

Percy inwardly cursed himself. "Nothing other to do than stare."

Nico moved suddenly, and sat next to Percy. "I'm sorry." He said again.

Percy shrugged. "Nothing to be sorry about."

Nico turned his head, about to say something, only for Percy to be turned towards him, sea-green eyes an explosion of color. Nico didn't think he'd get enough of those eyes.

Percy's gaze flickered up and down his face.

Nico's gaze darted from Percy's eyes to his lips, and he felt his heart beating hard in his chest.

There was nothing to say as Percy's lips met his in a soft kiss, and Nico stopped twisting his ring as Percy's hand cupped his head, eyes closing.

And then they pulled back, neither looking at each other as they blushed brightly and felt the confines of the room let up, vanishing in their own ways to their homes.

Percy went back to his father's kingdom and Nico back to his mini palace that Hades made for

him, in the main Hades' compound.

The Underworld and sea god were having a meeting.

Poseidon looked at his brother, "If we want to oust Zeus out as king, the sea and the underworld need to be united; therefore I propose we betrothe our sons.

Hades seemed to think it over, "I agree; but if we tell them too soon, they may rise against us."

Poseidon sighed, leaning back in his chair. "We could either give them options that force them to choose each other, or we could… simply force them. They're too young to do anything to us, Hades."

Hades looked at him, "Yes they may be too young, but they could flee to the other side of the states and not talk to us for the next millennium."

Poseidon shrugged. "Sure they can; but they'd still be betrothed."

Hades let out a heavy sigh, "Brother, I think the best option would be the first you said, that way they think they'd had the choice after all."

Poseidon grinned, mouth full of sharp teeth. "Then we have a deal?"

Hades rolled his eyes at his younger brother, "Yes. We do. But nobody but the two of us gets to know about this."

Poseidon nodded his head, understanding. "Of course, brother." He paused. "...We are going to have to get Hera to marry them, aren't we?"

"If we do that, then the whole of Olympus would know, what about Mother, She comes here sometimes with our Sister, Hestia." Hades said, awaiting the Sea god's reaction.

"The perfect! Who better to marry them than mother." He clapped his hands together, smiling. "And Hestia would help, of course."

Hades nodded, "Now be gone, my son nears."

Poseidon shook his head as he vanished, leaving the smell of salt in the air.

Percy was sitting in his bedroom awaiting his father's return. His father was prone to leaving, sometimes for Amphitrite, other times for kingly duties; the weird part was that he had been told that his father was gone to the Underworld. Of all the places, why did he need to meet Hades? There was nothing of importance that came to Percy's mind.

Poseidon swam around the kingdom before he arrived back on his throne, a smile on his face as the plan unfolded in his mind.
