Animal_Genius: I just found out that when I published my chapters, there are random gaps in them! *sobbing*

Naruto: Review to make her happy!

"As you all know," Iruka said, "Today's the day of the exam, and we're going to do clones."

I heard a groan, and I turned to see Naruto fall into a state of depression.

"I'm going to fail," Naruto whined.

I felt a little bad for Naruto. Even though he was really loud, he was nice enough. He didn't bully other people, and he was an orphan too.

Sasuke's an orphan too, my inner thoughts whispered.

All three of us were orphans. We just turned out differently. Naruto seeked more attention and craved to be respected. I was more reserved and inexperienced with communicating with other people. Sasuke…. Well, I couldn't read Sasuke too well. He just seemed grumpy and moody all the time.

I snapped myself out of my thoughts as Iruka-sensei put us in alphabetical order by last name. Because my last name was Tsugime, Sasuke was right before me.

The silence was getting a bit awkward, so I offered him a small smile to break the ice. He just glared at me.

Wow, I thought, that was rude.

This made me wonder more about what girls saw in him.

"Tsugime, Chitsuki!" Iruka-sensei called, "You're up!"

I took a deep breath and made three other perfect clones of myself. I could've done more, but I wanted to keep a low profile. "Attract less attention" was my motto.

"Congratulations," Iruka-sensei said, giving me my ninja headband.

"Thank you," I replied in a soft voice, the result of my shyness.

As I walked out, Sasuke was ahead me, sporting his new headband.

"Alright," I suddenly asked him, surprising myself with my own boldness, "what's your problem? Don't you know that everyone around you is also human?"

He stared at me. "Whatever."

I made a small sound out of frustration. It seemed as if he only knew two words, three if "hn" counted.

Turning around, I saw Naruto also come out, looking defeated.

"Umm, are you okay?" I asked gently.

He hung his head, plopping down on the swing. "No, I failed, again!" He said sadly.

"I'm sure it's okay," I said, a little awkwardly, "There's always next time."

Naruto didn't reply, just stared at the ground. Poor guy.
