Nightmare.
I was taken aback by the sudden appearance of it; it was so long since I was last plagued by them. I woke up, shaking. The area around my neck was bleeding again, blood spurting and dripping out, staining the cloth on top of it scarlet.
I panicked. After all these years, I forgot that I should never, under any circumstances, never try healing my neck. I made that mistake.
My fingers stung, my chakra was instantly depleted, and more blood flowed out of my neck. The sight was horrifying.
Usually, if I left it alone without trying to heal it, it would die down, and I didn't need band aids. This was not the same case. I needed to find help quickly, even if it meant giving away my secret.
I quickly raced out of my apartment as fast as I could, and stumbled to the nearest apartment, hoping to ask for some gauze or something.
I knocked on the door, and it opened, revealing a shirtless Sasuke.
"Gah!" I quickly covered my eyes. "Umm, can I have a band aid, please?"
Sasuke looked at my neck. "What's going on with your neck?"
"Nothing! I mean, I, uh, fell! Yeah that's it, I fell." I stammered, trying to come up with a make-believe story. Looking back I would realise how stupid I sounded. At that moment, though, I was concentrating more on not fainting due to the blood loss I was experiencing.
"Yeah, yeah. Likely story." Sasuke said coolly. "Alright come in."
"I don't need to come in," I gasped out, "I just need a band—."
I passed out before I could finish.
