I don't own Kingdom Hearts or Batman. They belong to DC, Disney, and Square Enix. And I'm back with another update. Alright! Final battle for Arendelle is about to begin but how will things play out? Will our heroes emerge victorious or will this world become a victim to the Winter or the Empire? Before we find out, let's reply to some reviews...
Gamelover41592: Thank you!
VaderSkywalker: Yeah, honestly, Ra's should have let them all rest in peace. Only God should have that kind of power. But it does make great story telling. Not to mention, it would be messed up if Jason didn't tell Anna her ex's true intentions. Rather come from a trusted friend than him. Hope you enjoy the coming battle.
JasonXElsa: I think you meant to write Pabbie. Must have been the autocorrect that changed it to Lannie. Jason will mention his past in small pieces but will eventually tell her everything. Hope you enjoy how it's done.
And with that out of the way, let's begin the next chapter... Enjoy!
Chapter 7: The Frozen Battlefield
"Is everyone in position?" Red Hood asked the others as he stood on the top of the hill with a blaster in hand.
Kristoff, who was a couple of miles away, hiding behind a tree with a blaster of a fallen trooper in hand, "Yes." However, Jason tapped his own here, signaling him to use his ear com that he lent him. Doing as instructed, he repeated, "Yes, I'm in position."
He then stared at him as he mouthed, "Happy?"
Jason gave him a thumbs up as Anna spoke up, "Olaf and I are in..." She then shivered in the cold, "...position..."
Anna was in the middle of the field, as Olaf pretend to be motionless, "Oh, I do love surprise parties! Never had them but they sound like so much fun!"
Elsa and Sora were currently riding on the back of Sven, as the Snow Queen wondered, "Just how did you end up with such fascinating technology?"
"I swiped this from the Imperial Base just before I turned it to ash," The former Robin explained, "It's very similar to the ones I used back home, so I know how they worked."
"Should we be worried if the Empire can listen in on us," Kristoff asked in concern.
"No, I placed the channel on a separate frequency and I know how to encrypt it so no one can listen in," Red Hood stated, "We should be fine."
"I still don't see why you and Elsa don't kiss," Anna pouted in the coms, "We could literally bring back summer right now."
"Anna... I know you want to believe the stories that we were told as kids... the kind where a noble Prince will come in and save the Princess and the world through true love's kiss," Jason calmly replied, "But after what you learned about your ex-fiancé, can you honestly say you know what love is outside from what you've read."
Anna sighed as she admitted, "No, not really..."
"Relax, I'm not blaming you," Jason reassured her, "No one here is... if we stick to the plan, God willing you won't die, and we can stop the Imperial threat in your Kingdom." He then added, "Besides, we need to let Hans think that we don't have a solution if this going to work. We bring back summer now, he'll know something is up. Also, there's no guarantee that if I kiss Elsa, summer will come back."
"There's probably a good chance I end up freezing his lips," Elsa muttered through the coms.
"Well, it would definitely be the world's longest kiss by far," Kristoff half joked, "The trolls would love it."
"Yeah, I'd rather not go through that again," Jason admitted, "Everyone remember the plan?" Not long, he had responses from everyone, with Kristoff agreeing for Sven, which he still thought was weird. He nodded, "Good, we've got one shot at this."
"So, no pressure," Anna forced a laugh.
"You sure one of your magic experts will take notice of all this to help," Elsa asked him hopeful.
"Trust me... with everything going on, it'll be hard for anyone not to..." Jason stated, "Someone like Dr. Fate and Zatanna are bond to take notice... heck, I'd take Constantine at this point."
"Well, let's hope this figure this out sooner rather than later," The ice harvester stated, "For both Anna's and Elsa's sake..."
Meanwhile, Anna sat in the middle of the field, as she shivered. Jason asked her, "You holding up okay?"
"Just a little cold..." She admitted, "I'll be alright..."
"Ah, shhhhhhh-oot," Jason almost cursed but corrected himself, "Alright, we might be clear for a moment, I might be able to start you up a fire."
"That's okay!" Olaf hopped out of the snow, "I'll take care of it!"
"No, no, no..." Elsa's 'not boyfriend' protested for many reasons, "Olaf! Stay in position!"
"Olaf! Let Jason handle this one!" The Snow Queen told their childhood snowman.
Ignoring his and Elsa's protests, he gathered much firewood, although, almost putting his stick hand among them, before quickly pulling it out. Anna shook her head, "Olaf... don't... Get away from there!"
The snowman used two stones to create a spark, which lit the flames. Olaf stared into in awe, "Woah! So this is heat. I love it." He leans closer and holds out his hands towards the fire when suddenly one of his hands catches fire, "Ooh! But don't touch it!"
He quickly ran over to Anna and pulled her closer to the fire, as she warned him, "Olaf, you can't stay here! You'll melt!"
Olaf refused to leave sitting beside her by the fire, "I am not leaving here until we find another act of true love to save you." He then glanced to her, "You wouldn't happen to have any ideas, do you?"
"I don't even know what love is." Anna admitted sadly.
"Oh, that's okay, Anna," Olaf smiled to her as he adjusted her cloak to keep her warm as possible , "I do..." He then explained, "Love is putting someone else's needs before yours. Like how Kristoff was willing to bring you to Hans and leave you forever."
The Princess blinked in disbelief, "Kristoff loves me?"
Olaf walked up to her, "Wow... you really don't know anything about love, do you?"
The fire starts to melt his face as he pushes his nose back in. Anna told him, "Olaf, you're melting."
"Some people are worth melting for." He smiled as his face starts to melt he tries to hold it up, "Just maybe not right this second!"
Jason noticed Kristoff blushing behind the tree, they had pretty much heard Anna and Olaf's entire conversation. He chuckled to himself, "Here's hoping we live long enough for him to tell her that himself..."
"How are they?" Elsa's voice asked him.
That didn't come through the coms. as he turned around to see that Sven carried her and Sora to his current location. He blinked under his helmet, "Elsa... what are you...?"
"I wanted to have this conversation with you alone..." She explained before stating, "First things first, how's Anna and Olaf holding up? Are they alright?"
Jason glanced to the duo as he answered, "Your sister's reevaluating her choice in men while Olaf is getting himself a safe distance from the fire... they'll be alright for the moment."
"Good..." She nodded as she light stroked Sora's spiky hair
"What did you want to talk about?" He asked her.
"I- I wanted to ask you something about what Grand Pabbie said," She confessed she then turned to him, "He said dark magic had a hold over you... Jason... had you been cursed once."
The former Robin said nothing in response for a moment as flashes of Joker laughing as he smacked with a crowbar and being raised for the dead through the Lazarus pit went through his mind. He admitted, "It's complicated..."
"Is that what happened back at the North Mountain?" Elsa asked him in deep concern, "Does it still have some hold over you?"
"I don't like talking about it," He replied as he looked back to where Anna was, who was looking in Kristoff's direction.
"Jason... if it's going to be a problem..." She continued.
"Look. It's never been a problem before. What happened back at the North Mountain, has never happened before," He turned to her with a serious look, "It will not happen again nor will it affect my duty."
"I'm just saying," The Snow Queen looked to him in deep concern, "Should you wish to share it... I'm willing to listen." She glanced to the reindeer as she told him, "C'mon, Sven."
The reindeer snorted as she rode him away from the former Robin. He whispered to himself, "I'm sorry, Elsa. But I'm not sure if you can handle the things I've been through."
He then noticed something in the distance, his eyes narrowed as he used his mask to zoom in, it was Hans, "Heads up, everyone... Hans is here..."
Anna turned in the direction of Hans approaching her with a large crowd. She nodded, "Oh, yeah, he's here and he's not alone..."
"Stormtroopers?" Elsa asked in concern.
"I'm not sure," She admitted as they weren't wearing their typical armor, "Their dressed like the royal guard but... I don't recognize any of their faces."
"Elsa, do you still have those binoculars I gave you," Jason asked the Queen through the coms.
"Huh?" She blinked.
"Right. Sorry. The fancy spyglass," Jason clarified, "Do you still have them?"
"Oh... umm..." Elsa blinked in realization as she began to search for said device before Sora gave it to her. She faintly chuckled, "Thank you."
Taking the futuristic spyglass, she replied to the skilled detective, "I have it..."
"Can you see Hans and the soldiers?" He asked her.
Elsa examined the fancy device, looked through the binoculars and spotted the Prince and the men dressed in Arendellian uniforms, "I see them... and I know each and every solider within our current ranks..." Her eyes narrowed at the 'soldiers,' "None of those men are currently under my employment."
"So, Stormtroopers in disguise?" Kristoff assumed.
"They're definitely Stormtroopers..." Elsa heard Jason reply...
"...he was probably wanted to catch us off guard if they wore Arendelle's Soldiers Uniforms," Red Hood continued as he kept his blaster trained on the Prince.
"At least there's not the many of them... and they don't have their metal monstrosities with them." Elsa stated in relief.
"Or so he wants us to think," Jason stated, "He knows I'd be able to take them all on, the rest are the reinforcements." He then ordered, "Stick to the plan." He then asked, "Anna? You remember your lines?"
"Yeah, I know what to do," Anna nodded with determination, "Let's ruin my ex's day..." She then quickly added, "Oh, and in case I don't get a chance to do so... break his noise for me."
"Anna!" Elsa exclaimed in disbelief.
Jason chuckled, "With pleasure."
"Okay, Olaf... don't move," She told the snowman.
"Oooh~ this is gonna be great!" The snowman beamed as he pretended to be an average lifeless snowman.
The Princess quickly got into character, "H-Hans..."
"Anna!" The Prince of the Southern exclaimed in what appeared to be fake concern, "What happened..." He gasped, "You're so cold."
Hans takes her into his arms as Anna told him, "Hans, you have to kiss me."
"What?" Asked a confused Hans.
Anna told him, "Now! Now!"
"Whoa. Slow down." He told her, "What happened out there?"
"Elsa struck me with her powers." Anna answered.
Hans was shocked, "You said she'd never hurt you."
"I was wrong but it was an accident." Anna replied as she doubles over in pain as the 'Arendellian Soldiers' secured the area.
"Steady everyone." Jason told the group, "Stick to the plan... Stick to the plan..."
"Where's Todd? I thought he'd be with you." Hans asked her, "Last I saw him, he took that kid of his to destroyed the Imperial Base, then said he come look for you and Elsa..."
"Alright, Anna, tell Hans exactly what I told you," Jason told the Princess while remaining hidden from Hans's Troopers.
"He went ahead to ensure that the last of the Stormtroopers have been dealt with," She recalled what Jason told her to say, "Elsa's with him to keep the boy safe."
Hans nodded as he told one of the 'Arendellain Soldiers,' "Go, see to it that they are all taken care of."
"Yes sir," He nodded as the disguised Stormtrooper took a few of the other soldiers with him to the false location.
"Hans..." Anna called out to the Prince.
"Anna..." He turned to her with a concerned look as he knelt beside her.
The Princess of Arendelle told him, "She froze my heart and only an act of true love can save me."
"A true love's kiss." He realized. Hans strokes her face gently then leans in to kiss her. Just then, he stopped to smirk evilly, "Oh, Anna. If only there was someone out there who loved you."
"What?" Anna faked a gasp while smirking in her head, "That's right keep taking, you traitorous jerk!" She then continued playing dumb as she pointed out, "You said you did."
Hans nodded to the soldier as one placed a figure by the com and more Stormtroopers came in along with three more of the machines like the one Jason fought in Arendelle. She gave him a confused look, "What is all of this? Are... are you working for the Empire?!"
He proceeded to monologue, "As thirteenth in line in my own kingdom, I didn't stand a chance. I knew I'd have to marry into the throne somewhere."
"What...what are you talking about?" Anna asked.
Prince Hans puts out the candles as he continued explaining, "As heir, Elsa was preferable, of course, but no one was getting anywhere with her..." His eyes narrowed, "...no one except that second rate detective, Todd!"
"That's right, keep him talking..." Jason instructed her.
Hans then smirked again, "But you..."
Anna was shocked by all of this, "Hans?"
"You were so desperate for love, you were willing to marry me, just like that. I figured, after we married, I'd have to stage a little accident for Elsa... and with the Empire's forces at my disposal wouldn't be too much of an issue. It would be easy enough to point the evidence on Todd... and which all the technological advances, I'd practically be welcomed."
His eyes narrowed, "Of course, I didn't know that prior to coming to Arendelle he stole a valuable Imperial Target forcing the Empire to invade Arendelle to reclaim it. And admittedly, I underestimated Jason's skills. Not just as a detective but as a trained warrior. I was worried with him around all my plans would be ruined..." He then smirked again, "But then she doomed herself, and you were dumb enough to go after her."
He then kicked the snow beneath him to put out the flames, as Anna forced to beg, "Hans. No, stop. Please."
"All that's left now, is to pin your death on Elsa and Todd, then kill them both for their treachery, put that innocent child they brought to all of this into more... capable hands and bring back summer." Hans continued.
"You're no match for Elsa and Jason." Anna narrowed her eyes in anger.
Hans walks over to Anna, bends down and takes her chin, "No, you're no match for Elsa. I, on the other hand, am the hero who is going to save Arendelle from destruction." He then mocked her further stating, "And thanks to you... we now know where all three of our primary targets are. I may not know what 'Operation Kingdom' is... but I do now it'll make the Empire more powerful than ever and by extension... make me more powerful than ever."
"You won't win..." Anna glared.
"Oh, Anna," He stood up with almost pity in his eyes as he was going to leave her to die, "I already have..."
"Alright, let him know the bad news..." Jason revealed.
"No, I mean... you won't win because... did you really believe I told you my sister's, Jason's, and Sora's exact location to you..." The Princess smirked.
Hans turned back to her confused...
Meanwhile, the 'soldiers' Hans sent were accompanied by more Stormtroopers as one ordered, "Secure the area. They're around here somewhere."
"Remember, the primary target must be brought in unharmed, the Queen taken alive to the King of Arendelle alive for her execution," A Stormtrooper added, "But once you see that Rebel Scum... shoot to kill."
Unware to them, the rocks buried beneath the snow, weren't actually rocks...
Hans stared Anna dumbfounded, as suddenly a loud whistle alerted his attention. He looked up and much to his shock, he saw the Red Hood reveal himself from behind a tree. He then held out a detonation trigger with his thumb on the trigger.
The Prince's eyes widened as Jason gave him a mock wave as he pressed his thumb down on the trigger...
"Wait, what was that?" A Stormtrooper gasped at the sound of thermal detonators beeping. One looked down, to realize they were standing over them.
Realizing they were dead, one only had enough time to say, "Son of a bi-"
And that's when the explosions consumed the squad...
The explosions could be heard from the distance, as Hans looked in terror as Anna spoke again through the coms., "You got all that, Captain?"
"Loud and clear, your highness," The Captain of the actual royal guard spoke through the coms. much to her ex's horror, "His confession as an addition the incriminating evidence is more than enough to prove himself a traitor to us all. We'll be there to send him back home to his big brothers to deal with him. Tell Jason his free to do whatever needs to be done to rid Arendelle from the Imperial forces."
"Thank you, Captain," Red Hood spoke through the coms. as he aimed his blaster on the dumbfounded Prince, "I'll bring the traitor from the Southern Isles in in one piece, but I can't promise he won't be damaged upon arrival."
"Dully noted," The Captain replied.
Jason smirked underneath his helmet, "So, your 'highness,' how do you want to do this? Easy way or hard way?"
"H-how..." Hans blinked in disbelief.
"Hey, did you honestly think I wouldn't figure it out that you were the spy? That I wasn't going to tell your very much EX-fiancée?" He asked him rhetorically.
"Also, the fact that you chased my sister and an innocent boy off the mountain with men that very much wanted Elsa dead?" Anna glared at him, "You think I wouldn't learn about it?!"
Hans blinked, "You tricked me!"
"Not so fun when it comes from the other end, huh?" Anna glared at her ex, "No stand down or I let Jason bring you in by force."
Hans glared at the Red Hood, "Kill him! KILL THEM ALL!"
The Stormtroopers all trained their blasters on Jason, "Blast him!"
"Good luck with that!" He taunted as he threw down a smoke bomb making him vanish.
"Let's move, Olaf!" She told the snowman.
"Surprise!" Olaf beamed as he led Anna away much to Hans shock.
"He's... the snowman's...?!" The Prince blinked before shaking his head as he barked out orders, "DON'T LET THEM GET AWAY! AND WATCH ABOVE! HE COULD STRIKE FROM-!"
Suddenly, a Stormtrooper was shoot down from a few yards away from where Jason once was. A disguised trooper pointed in that direction, "There he is!"
He was shot down not long after, but the rest of the enemy fired in that direction until one of them spotted Elsa in the distance, "I spotted the Queen! And she has the child!"
"Don't let them escape!" Hans ordered.
As the Imperial forces were forced to split up, Elsa whispered, "Hold on, Sora! Sven go!"
The Reindeer ran in one direction with the Queen and child on his back while Kristoff, the actual shooter ran off in another direction as he muttered to himself, "The things I do for love..."
At the same time, Jason was watching the battle unfold, playing out exactly as he had planned...
"...after Hans confesses everything..." Jason told everyone a hour earlier.
"Uh, what makes you think he'll say anything to Anna, even if he believes she's dying," Kristoff raised a hand.
"Trust me, this a major weakness with every scum I've come up against," Red Hood revealed, "The enemy will always brag about their plans when they think they've already won. Hans is likely to be no different from the rest."
"Oh, can I be the one to tell Hans the bad news!" Anna raised her hand eagerly, "I want to see the look on his face when his plans fall apart!"
"...you know what?" Jason gestured to the Princess, "Be my guest."
"YES!" The Princess pumped a fist.
"Okay, after Anna shows Hans that we're on to him," Jason gestured to the holographic map the group was around, he gestured to the falls, "I'll set off the explosives by the falls where Anna told them to go. That should take a good amount of their remaining forces." He then told the group, "I'll throw a smoke bomb and vanish into the shadows. We'll divide the remaining reinforcements and lead to the traps the trolls have set. But if they have any more of this machines, leave them to me. We'll pick off their numbers until Hans is alone..."
"...then you figure out if he knows someone who knows more about Operation Kingdom, one of your magic heroes hopefully finds us, and my heart gets unthawed and you and Elsa bring back Summer." Anna smiled, "Okay, let's do it."
"Uncle Jason?" Sora spoke up, "You gave everyone else jobs but what am I supposed to do?"
"You have the most important job," Jason smiled to him as he glanced at the Queen, "I need you to watch after the Queen, if something happens to her, then our fight of the Empire will be lost." Elsa smiled to him as she understood the actual translation, he smirking to her he turned to back to Sora, "It's an important job. Can you handle it?"
"Yes, sir!" Sora beamed as he saluted.
The Queen, despite the situation they were in, giggled, "Other hand, sweetie."
The boy quickly switched hands...
Jason watched as Kristoff lead the Stormtroopers after him into the first trap. As he ran past it, a troll rolled across the path he ran. That troll and another pulled on a vine hidden in the snow, causing a few Troopers to trip over it. The ones that avoided it, Red Hood descended on, grabbing on in a choke hold, and blasting down another. He snapped the one he had's neck, he turned to the trolls who subdued the Stormtroopers they tripped. They gave him and Kristoff a thumbs up, as the former stated, "Five down..."
"...and many more to go," Jason replied when several shots flew past them. They turned to see more Stormtroopers and a disguised Trooper in pursuit, he ordered the others, "Keep moving!"
Kristoff nodded as he and the trolls made a run for it. Red Hood shot down the disguised Trooper and two Stormtroopers before throwing down another smoke bomb and grabbing up into the trees. A Stormtrooper exclaimed, "Don't let them get away!"
Red Hood looked down from above, Kristoff was heading for the next ambush. He'd be fine for now. He needed to check up on Anna...
Meanwhile, Olaf led Anna through the forest as Stormtroopers chased after them. The snowman exclaimed, "C'mon! We're almost there!"
As they ran past several trees, Anna whistled before exclaiming, "Sic' 'em, Ace!"
Just then, the black hound barked angrily as he pounced at the several Troopers knocking them down. The ones still standing exclaimed, "Blast that mutt!"
However, they never got a shot out as trolls ambushed the Stormtroopers from above quickly subduing them. Olaf and Anna cheered as the latter exclaimed, "We got 'em!"
However, their cheers came to an end when an Imperial droid marched their way, with a blaster in its hand. Before it could fire though, a knife knocked the weapon out of its hand. It looked up to see Jason roll out from behind a tree, and shot its leg making it kneel before shooting it in the head.
The metal monstrosity collapsed to the ground as Jason lowered his blaster as he turned to the snowman and Princess, "How are you two holding up?"
"Still in one piece," Olaf happily smiled.
Anna shivered as more of her hair turned white, showing very little of its natural color left. She admitted, "Could be better."
"Ugh!" Jason groaned in frustration, "Someone had to have shown by now."
"It's okay," Anna smiled, "I just need to get to Kristoff."
"Huh?" The detective blinked underneath his helmet, "What are you saying?"
"Yeah, how's Kristoff going to fix all of this?" Olaf turned to the Princess of Arendelle in confusion. Anna gave them a knowing look before Olaf gasped in realization, "Oh, oh, oh, I know why! There's your act of true love, right there, fighting the forces of evil like a valiant, pungent reindeer king!"
"Anna, there's no guarantee that it'll even-" Jason protested.
"Jason," She cut him off, "We're almost out of time."
After a moment, he sighed, "Fudge it! Ace!" The hound turned to him as the trolls subdued the Stromtroopers he defeated, "Make sure the way from Anna to Kristoff is clear! I'll deal with the remaining forces gunning for Elsa and Sora."
Ace barked in agreement as Anna raised an eyebrow, "Fudge?"
"Yeah, I'm trying to watch my language," The Red Hood shrugged as he put away the knife he threw before picking up another fallen blaster, "Is that...?"
"No, no... I like it," Anna smiled in approval, "I'm sure Elsa will to."
"Okay then," Jason nodded as he told the young woman, "I hope you kiss with Kristoff works out."
"It will," Anna smiled with confidence before wishing him, "Good luck!"
As Jason went his separate way, Olaf pulled Anna in Kristoff's direction, "C'mon! Let's go!"
Ace barked as he lead the way as the trolls cheered for them...
Sven picked up the pace as the Stormtroopers pressured them. Thankfully, Elsa didn't need to use her powers much. The trolls traps had been working surprisingly well. She just needed to make a few ice barriers here and there. Mostly without Sora knowing. She didn't wish for him to use his powers considering he didn't know how to control it at this point, not to mention it was too overwhelming for him. His body couldn't handle it yet. And God forbid if he had another vision.
Unfortunately, there was still quite many Stormtroopers left and Hans was leading the charge. Hans really wanted her dead to become king and the Empire wanted Sora for whatever Operation Kingdom was. She just hoped Jason could catch up and finish the fight already.
Suddenly things got worse at the storm picked, she whispered to herself, "No, no, no... conceal, don't feel... conceal, don't-"
"Elsa! Sven!" Sora exclaimed, "Look out!"
Elsa snapped back at attention, as another squad of Stormtroopers were ahead of them and aim the blasters at them, "Set to stun! We can't risk hitting the target!"
Suddenly, blue circles shot of the weapons and one of the hit Sven. The reindeer fell over and the Queen and the boy fell off. Elsa quickly created a barrier between them and the Stormtroopers. Sora turned to the reindeer in concern, "Sven!"
Sven snorted at them as he gestured his head as if telling them to keep going. The Snow Queen picked up the child as she told him, "He'll be okay! But we need to move! Now!"
She then ran off ahead as she heard Hans exclaimed, "Forget the deer! Don't let the Queen escape! She still has the key!"
She didn't care what happened to her at this point, right now, she had to make sure nothing happened to Sora. For everyone's sake...
Jason noticed the storm picking up. Hans must have been gaining on Elsa and Sora. He needed to hurry.
The bright side to all of this is that the Storm blinded the enemy, so he was easily able to pick them off along way without being caught. He grappled a Stormtrooper blinded by the snow covering his face, and pulled him behind the tree he was hiding behind, before hitting the Trooper's head with the end of one of his blasters.
The Detective Vision was still working great despite the weather. Even as Robin, Batman made sure it worked under subzero weather in case they ran into someone like Mr. Freeze. He then blasted down three Troopers before vanishing into the storm.
Still, he couldn't believe none of the magic heroes showed up. He was almost certain with everything taking place, one of heroic magic users would have picked up on this, appear here, and snap their fingers or speak backwards to fix all of this. It seemed to work all the time back home when he was Robin.
Even so, he couldn't believe the now back up plan was dependent on Anna getting to Kristoff for a kiss! His plan B was based on an idea from fairy tales! Batman or Nightwing would never go for that idea...
...still, he prayed for Anna's shake that it did work. She's had it rough this week. If she didn't make it, Jason would make sure once he got what he wanted he'd make him see God to face his punishment... and he didn't mean in a church.
Just then, he spotted a familiar figure, his eyes widened under his helmet, "Sven?!"
He marched as quickly as he could through the snow, and knelt beside. Sven turned to him as he gently patted his back, "Are you alright?" As the reindeer snorted, he did a quick scan to see if he was hurt, "Not seeing anything blaster wounds, must have just stunned you." He then noticed the walls of ice, "Guess Sora and Elsa managed to get away, but I gotta feeling the Empire is still in pursuit."
He turned to the deer, "Which way did they go?"
Sven pointed in the direction of where the winter storm was the strongest, he sighed to himself, "Figures..." He then turned back to the reindeer, "I'll help them. When you're able to, get back to Kristoff and Anna."
Sven nodded as the former Robin fought his way through the Storm as snow and ice managed started to collect on his helmet and clothes...
Meanwhile, on the Star Destroyer an Imperial Officer walked up to the Grand Admiral, "Sir, our signal from Arendelle has stopped responding. We believe the base over there has been destroyed by the Rebel. Our informant over there could use reinforcements..."
Thawn glanced to the Officer, "No, that won't be necessary."
"Sir?" The officer raised an eyebrow.
"That base has out served its purpose. If Operation Kingdom is to be successful, I will not waste men on pointless endeavors," The Grand Admiral stated, "We'll have other opportunities to get the key. Let the Red Hood have small victory."
"As you wish, sir," The Officer nodded as he turned to leave.
"And commander... one last thing..." Thawn spoke up getting the commander's attention, "If he survives the outcome of the battle, I would like you bring Prince Hans here on my Star Destroyer. He could have some useful information about our mutual friend."
"Very well, sir," He gave a respectful bow, "I'll see to it personally."
With that, the officer left to carry out the Grand Admiral's orders...
Back in Arendelle, a group of trolls threw a heavy net, made of vines and stone, over several Stormtroopers as Kristoff shoot down the ones that remained. He smiled at his family, "Thanks, guys."
Suddenly, the wind started to blow harder. He turned to the storm as his eyes widened in concern, "Anna..."
Dropping his blaster, he rushed off towards the storm as one of trolls exclaimed, "Go get her, Kristoff! Go save your true love!"
Kristoff paid them no mind as he fought his way through the storm calling out to the Princess he fell for, "ANNA! ANNA!"
"KRISTOFF!" Anna called out as she and Olaf fought their way through the storm as Ace led the way. She muttered to herself, "Oh, boy... wish Elsa knew how to calm the storm..." She then called out louder, "KRISTOFF!"
Before the snowman could go any further, the winds blew him away, "Go on without me!"
"Olaf!" Anna gasped in horror.
The last words she could hear Olaf say to her was, "Keep going!"
Clutching her heart as the remaining natural color of her hair died out as her hair was now completely white. Ace barked at her, encouraging her to keep following him. She needed to hurry as she tried to fight the storm, "KRISTOFF!"
"Conceal, don't feel. Conceal, don't..." Elsa whispered to herself as she tried to carry the boy to safety as she started to realize that Sora was stretching his hand out, "What are you doing?"
"Trying to calm the storm..." Sora answered honestly.
"Sora, don't," Elsa lowered his tiny hand, "...even if you could, you could end up killing yourself. You can't handle your own powers yet." She reassured him, "I'll find a way to stop this, but for now, don't use your powers unless absolutely necessary."
"Okay..." The boy frowned in defeat.
"Halt!" A Stormtrooper exclaimed through the storm as she spotted three of them with their weapons drawn at them, "Don't move!"
The Snow Queen gently placed her foot down, creating ice underneath the Imperials feet causing to slip and fall on their backs as she then proceeded to cover them in snow drifts. She told the four year old Islander, "We need to keep going!"
Just before they could though, they heard Hans exclaim, "ELSA! YOU CAN'T RUN FROM THIS!"
Turning to Hans, who was accompanied by the remaining Stormtroopers... at least visible to the naked eye... Either way, she placed the boy behind her, as she stood in front with him, "Hans, it's over. Everyone in Arendelle will know by now that you have been working for the Empire and were going to leave Anna for dead. You're not going to be Arendelle's king." She then put on a brave face, "Do whatever you have to do with me to bring back Summer but let Sora go. He has nothing to do with this. Do not give him to this Empire!"
Perhaps this would be her act of love, if she willingly laid down her life to save Sora, and hopefully everyone... would bring back summer. Perhaps if there was any bit of good in his heart left he'd agree. Those thoughts were shattered as he chuckled, "Oh, it's too late for that, I will be Arendelle's hero and king. One way or another, the Empire will give me whatever I desire once I have that boy."
Suddenly something shot a Trooper from behind putting the others on alert. Hans's eyes narrowed in anger, "Todd!"
"Jason," Elsa lightly smiled in relief. She wasn't sure how he could see in the storm... maybe that helmet of his... but she certainly wasn't complaining.
He ordered the Stormtroopers, "Don't let him interfere! Hurt him slowly! I'll finish him when I'm done here!"
The Stormtroopers complained with that order as they engaged in a fire fight...
"OUT OF THE WAY, BUCKET HEADS!" Red Hood snapped as he used his duel blasters to shoot down many Stormtroopers before using quick strikes to the ones who got too close.
He grabbed a fallen trooper and used him as a human shield. He scanned the area before his scan located Elsa and Sora, but Hans was there. Too close for comfort. With the storm, he wasn't sure he could get a clear enough shot to take him down. Not to mention there was still quite a many Stormtroopers between him and Hans.
Realizing he had very little time to waste, he used his human shield to charge into two other Stormtroopers. Then using one blaster to shoot down more enemy soldiers while using the last thermal detonator at a group of Stormtroopers.
He fought through the storm while Imperials to reach his goals...
Turning his attention back to the Queen, despite the battle continuing to rage on, he slowly approached her. She quickly glanced to the four year old, "Stay behind me!"
"Why is that sweet?" Hans mocked with a grin, "You went from a scared little freak who isolated herself from everyone including her own sister to a self-proclaimed mother to a child that her 'true love' stole a way from the islands he'd come to know..." He continued, "But answer me this, what kind of mother would in danger the world and murder her own sister?!"
The Queen froze up in guilt, as Hans smirk remained, "I may have broken her heart but you..." He chuckled, "...you are the one who placed the ice within her heart. Your sister is a dead woman... because of you."
As much as she wished it wasn't true, Elsa knew otherwise. Guilt consumed her as she turned away and feel to her knees, "NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOO!"
And in her grief the storm stood still...
...which gave Jason an opening. Little time to waste, he ran towards Hans. To stop him from killing the Queen and taking Sora. Three Stormtroopers moved in to intercept but Red Hood kneed him in the head, knocking his helmet off. He then grabbed the arm which held the Stormtrooper's blaster as he kicked another one down. He then forced the Stormtrooper he held to blast one of his own Troopers, before breaking his arm and knocking him unconscious.
As the third start to recover, Jason grabbed him and head butted him knocking the Trooper out. Drawing out of his blasters, he now had a clear shot at Hans. Right now, he needed him alive for information so he set it on stun. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, a mechanical hand grabbed his arm forcing him to miss the shot. He grunted his pain as he turned to the security droid responsible. Drawing his other blaster he hoped to use it against the machine, only for another to grab his free hand and threatened to crush it, "Gah!"
"You have been subjected for execution," One stated.
"Please do not resist," The other stated. Jason hated to admit it but right now he was helpless as more of the remaining Imperial Forces went in to aid Hans...
Meanwhile, the nearly frozen woman heard Ace barking ahead of her looked ahead, as spotted a familiar looking ice man, "Kristoff?"
"Anna!" The blonde ran straight to her as she tried to wobble to get to him. Despite being on her last legs she just might...
"No!" She heard Jason gasp. She turned to him to see him captured by those metal monsters. Ace growled as he went to aid his master. To add to everything, she heard a sword unsheathing. She turned to her side and much to her horror she saw Hans raised his sword to her sister who appeared to be morning, "Elsa!"
Glancing between Kristoff and her sister, she had to make a decision. Which was more important? Saving herself? Or saving her sister?
"Leave her alone," Sora rushed in to help her.
"Out of the way," Hans shoved him harshly aside as Stormtroopers approached him. Things were getting worse by the moment...
...Anna had made her decision. Despite everything Elsa put her through, she still loved her. So with the last of her strength, to race towards Elsa much to Kristoff's disbelief...
Sora's eyes widened as Hans prepared to strike Elsa down, felling like this all happened before. Then all of a sudden, Anna ran in between her sister and Hans, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
As she raised her arm to intercept the blade, her body turned to solid ice, Hans's sword struck her but broke upon impact which knocked the corrupt Prince back and on the ground unconscious. Sora watched helplessly as he saw the Princess's final breath exit through her frozen lips...
"NO!" Jason's eyes widened under his helmet as a green mist consumed his body. Consumed by rage, with inhuman strength, he broke free from the droids' grasp. He proceeded to grab one as he slammed down upon another...
...before tearing the one he had in two. He then grabbed the head of the second, he tore off its head. As a Stormtrooper that approached him, stated in fear and disbelief, "H-how did you-?!"
He then threw the head of the droid into the trooper sending him flying. The Stormtroopers that held Sora aimed their blasters at him. Jason quickly picked up a fallen blaster and fired a ball of green energy at the enemy which bounced of them taking them all out. Sora then stretched out his hand as the Keyblade flashed out a launched towards Red Hood, narrowly just passed him to take out the two Stormtroopers behind him. Ace stood on top of both defeated troopers, growling at them.
With his angry quench, the mist died down as he nodded to Sora, "Nice shot, kid!"
Despite everything Sora smiled back, causing Elsa finally turned around as her eyes widened in horror at her sister's frozen body, "ANNA!" Tears started to fall as she whispered, "Oh, Anna. No... no, please, no."
She touched her sister's face and began to weep, hugging Anna's frozen body as she cried. Jason removed his helmet as he, Ace, Sora, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf stared in disbelief and sadness. The snowman's eyes widened in disbelief, "Anna?"
Ace gave a sad whimper as the boy frowned. Jasonwatched his Elsa continued to weep over the loss of her sister. His eyes then drifted off to Hans, still down, his eyes narrowed as he slowly moved where the Prince was. He slowly aimed the blaster he still held to the Imperial's head. He was about to pulled the trigger, when he heard a small voice, "Uncle Jason...?"
Quickly, moving his trigger finger away and putting away his blaster, he turned to Sora confused at what happened. He sighed, as much as he wanted to kill the Prince for this, he didn't want to do with the kid watching. Besides, he remembered that he still needed some answers from him, so he turned to Sora, "Hey... buddy..."
"Is there anything we can do to save her?" The boy hoped.
Glancing back to Anna, Jason's helmet had already picked up that her heart beat stopped. Likely frozen. It was unlikely there was anything they could do for her. He frowned, "I wish there was. In this kind of work... the hardest part is that we can't always save someone... no matter how close you are..."
"But there's always hope, right?" Sora asked the former Robin, "She was able to come back before..."
His eyes widened as he knelt down to him, "What are you saying? Did you have another vision?"
"No, just this weird feeling like I've seen this before," The four year old answered, "Hans tried to kill Elsa, Anna saves her but ended up frozen... then she thaws out..."
So, the kid had a little déjà vu as well. Likely from all the other visions he's seen earlier. So, if it happened then... maybe... he looked back up and noticed Anna beginning to thaw. He smiled, "You know, you might be right on this one."
Sora blinked in confusion before turning back to this royal sisters and beamed. Olaf soon followed as Sven nudged Kristoff, getting him to notice as well.
Elsa stopped her crying when she felt Anna getting warming and calling her by name, "Elsa?"
The Snow Queen looked up to see that her sister had been completely thawed out, smiling at her. She slowly smiled back, "Anna...?"
They hug each other and hold on to each other tightly, "Oh, Elsa!"
Elsa asked her sister in disbelief, "You sacrificed yourself for me?"
"I love you." Anna smiled.
Olaf gasped for joy as he realized what saved Anna, "An act of true love will thaw a frozen heart."
"I don't get it," The four year old blinked, "Dying is love?"
"Not quite," Jason replied with a smile, "Back home, it's been said that there's no greater love than laying down your life for a friend. That was Anna's act of true love and it ultimately saved her."
"Oooooh," Sora slowly nodded.
Elsa heard what Olaf said, "Love will thaw..." She looked at them as she realized, "Love. Of course. Now I understand."
"Elsa?" Anna asked.
Elsa looked at her hands as began to raise them she replied, "Love."
Everyone began to beam as the ice around began to melt... Anna smiled as the snow cleared out all around them. Ace shook off the remaining snow off of him making Sora giggle. Sven tried to lick a snowflake going up to the sky. The entire kingdom began to warm up as summer returned. The storm formed to one snowflake before Elsa made it vanish too. The Eternal Winter was finally over. Anna smiled, "I knew you could do it."
"And I knew you two would figure things out," Jason smiled at the sisters getting their attention, "Maybe not how I thought you would but I'm happy for you two."
Anna smiled and nodded to him as Elsa looked a little bashful, rubbing her arm slightly. they heard Olaf declare, "Hands down, this is best day of my life..." His smile remained as he too began to melt away, "And, quite possibly, the last."
"Oh, Olaf! Hang on, little guy." Elsa told him as she remembered as she made a little snow cloud over the living snowman.
He gasped in joy, "Oh, oh, oh! My own personal flurry!"
Suddenly, they heard Sora yelp out in shock. The girls gasped as Jason drew back out his blaster, "One, last thing to take care of!"
Hans held Sora in one hand while aiming a blaster at the group as the remaining twelve Stormtroopers aimed their blasters at the seven. Hans stated, "It doesn't matter. I have the child and once I kill you all. Everyone will believe that I saved Arendelle."
"No, they won't, Hans," Elsa glared at him, "They'll all know you lied."
"Let Sora go, Hans," Anna threatened him as she raised her fists ready for a fight. Jason gave Kristoff another blaster as the rest of the group prepared for a fight, even Olaf, "Or we'll make you."
"Oh, please," Hans rolled his eyes, "You're out numbered thirteen to seven. And once you're dead, Todd, the rest should be easy."
"You mean the one's we've been picking off," Kristoff dryly pointed out.
"He's right, Hans," Elsa nodded to the ice harvester, "Outnumbered or not, you're the one who's out matched!"
"Oh, you won't do a thing to me, not unless you wish to hurt the boy," Hans smirked as he held the islander close to him.
Sora glanced to Jason as if asking him something. Knowing what he was asking, he gave a discreet nod, then leaning to Elsa, "We have one chance, when Sora loses control, get him out of there."
The Snow Queen glanced to him before giving a small nod. Everyone appeared to be in a standoff, until Hans smirked, "So, Todd, any last words?"
Part of Jason wanted to roll his eyes at such a cliche line, but when Sora's eyes began to glow, he smirked, "Yeah, enjoy the show."
"Huh?" Hans blinked as light consumed Imperials.
"Oh, boy, here we go again!" Kristoff exclaimed as the light consumed him.
"Oh, more confusing memories of future Sora!" Olaf beamed as he joined in the light.
"Elsa, go! Now!" Jason exclaimed.
"Once he's safe, I'm punching that dirty little backstabber-" Anna started as Elsa prepared for the worst...
"-so hard!" Anna finished causing Elsa to blinked in confusion. Her sister glanced to her, "Huh? You're actually here this time."
"Wait, are we actually all together this time?" Kristoff blinked as they realized... everyone was here. Them. Sora. The Imperials holding him hostage. They were all here this time.
"What is this?" Hans blinked as he aimed his blaster at the group, "What sort of trickery is this?"
Okay, this was very weird. Elsa thought when Jason explained the plan to her, they witness a vision of an older Sora solo. Just like before. She find a way out. Grab Sora while Hans and the Stormtroopers were trapped in the vision. Then deal with the visions. Sure, she wasn't the biggest fan of those visions as they caused Sora much pain but it was better than the alternative.
"What happened?" Jason whispered.
"I'm not sure," Elsa whispered back, "I can't get out of this vision... I think this is real."
"Uh, I have a bigger question," Kristoff stated outlined, "Where are we? Because we're definitely not in Arendelle."
Sure enough, Elsa looked around the plants, trees, grass... there weren't the kind of things you see in all of Norway. The wildlife seemed a little... well... wild. Jason spoke up, "We're in Africa."
Everyone turned to Jason as Anna asked him, "How can you tell?"
Without keeping his eye of the enemy, he gestured to certain area, "You see that over there."
Everyone turned to where Jason gestured, as Kristoff asked, "The flower?"
"Ooooh, it's so pretty. Are all flowers are as pretty as this?!" The snowman asked happily.
"It's a dendrobium uncharticum," He explained to the group, "It's presumed to exist in the uncharted regions of Africa. So, by that logic..."
"...we're in the middle of Africa," Hans groaned in annoyance before turning to a trooper, "Let the Grand Admiral know that we have the child, and request a pick up in Africa."
"Sir!" The Trooper nodded as he reached for his com.
Sora looked a little nervous, worried he did something wrong. Jason glanced to the Queen, "Can you snap out of this?"
She continued to blink as she whispered, "I don't know why I'm unable to when I have before. But I have a feeling we're actually in Africa. Is this his teleportation powers?"
"No, this is different, before it required using a similar method the Empire has been using, and the kid still needed the giant key," Jason shook his head, "Not sure what this is then..."
"Sir, I'm unable to reach the flagship," The Stormtrooper revealed to the Prince, "We might not be on your world anymore."
"World?" Everyone repeated. What on Earth did he mean by that?
"It must be him," Hans glared at the child, "Send us back or else I-"
"Unless you want some new holes in your body," Jason turned his attention to the Prince, aiming his blaster at him, "You're not going to harm a single hair on the kid!"
"No, you won't," Hans smirked to Jason, "If you try to hit me, you end up hitting him.."
"Wanna bet?!" Jason glared as he and the others prepared for a fight. Suddenly, a catchy upbeat music started playing causing Jason to groan, "Seriously?! This is no time for a music number! So whoever wants to sing can zip-"
"Jason, it's not us," Anna stated much to his confusion, "At least I don't think."
"She's not wrong," Kristoff nodded before turning to the snowman, "Olaf?"
"Nope, not me, but it's rather catchy," Olaf shook his head before humming along to the beat.
Elsa glanced to Hans and the Imperials, who looked equally baffled. Sora looked confused as well. If it wasn't any of them, then who wanted to sing now of all times?
Hans shook his head, "Ugh! I don't have time for this! Kill them! Then find us a way-"
He was cut off as a lion cub pounced on his back, making him drop Sora. The boy ran over to Elsa as the cub sang on Hans's back, "I'm gonna be a mighty king~ so enemies beware~"
Everyone stared in disbelief at what they just seen and heard as Elsa picked up Sora. Kristoff asked the others, "You guys are seeing this too, right?"
Hans groaned his lifted up his head as a hornbill bird flew on his head and criticized the cub, "Well, I've never seen a king of beasts with quite so little hair~"
"That there's an actual singing lion cub and now bird among us?" Anna asked in disbelief.
"How is that possible?" Elsa asked as she was at relieved that Sora was out of Imperial hands.
"Apparently, the same possibility as talk snowmen," Jason gestured to Olaf. Just then, the cub and bird hopped off as Jason told the others, "Time to go!"
"Get them!" Hans exclaimed as they chased them into the bushes.
However, before the Empire could peruse, the cub hopped out with a main made out of leaves, "I'm gonna be the main event~ like no king was before~" The Stormtroopers aimed their blasters at the cub as he approached the Imperials, "I'm brushing up on looking down~ I'm working on my roar~!"
Despite being just a cub, when he roared, it somehow knocked all the Imperials, including Hans, into the mud. Blinded by the mud, as he wiped his face off with the closest thing he could while muttering, "Thus far, a rather... uninspiring thing~"
Unfortunately for him, the thing he used as a towel was an ear... an elephant ear... a very unhappy elephant ear. Deeply offended by Hans's actions, the elephant smacked the Prince of the Southern Isles so hard it sent him flying as the cub beamed, "Oh, I just can't wait to be king~"
Hans finally crashed near some tall grass as he told the cub, "I don't have time to deal with the likes of you wild beasts so if you think-"
"No one saying do this~" The cub reappeared with Sora.
"Wait, is that the-" Hans did a double take as both the cub and boy retreated into the grass.
A lioness cub then appeared with Olaf's head as she sang, "No one saying be there~"
"Another one! And are you-?" Hans turned to the other cub.
"Hello!" Olaf beamed as they retreated back into the grass.
"No one saying stop that~" The lion cub returned with Sora.
"Stop that and give me the-" Hans snapped as he aimed his blast at the cub...
...only to be knocked down by the other with Olaf and the four ran off singing, "No one saying see here~"
"NOW SEE HERE!" Hans shook his fist in anger at the cubs.
He then spotted the cubs, Sora, Olaf, Jason, Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff ridding on the backs of ostriches while Ace and Sven followed them. The male lion cub sang, "Free to run around all day~"
"Well, that's definitely out..." Hans muttered as he rejoined the recovering Stormtroopers.
"Free to do it all my way~" The cub continued to sing.
"Never thought I'd ride on an actual ostrich," Kristoff muttered.
"Being a King is all that, huh?" Sora turned to Elsa in confusion.
"Well, no, being a King or Queen... it's a lot of responsibility. To serve our people," Elsa shook her head, "Though that tends to fly over people's heads as they consider they like the power they wield. Even from actually Kings and Queens at times."
"Considering the lion cub is on our side and is making the Empire look like complete fools are you really complaining?" Jason asked the Queen of Arendelle as gestured to the Imperials, who were desperate to catch up.
"Not really no!" Elsa slightly smiled from her ostrich.
"Yo, kid," The lion cub turned to Sora, "Bet my ostrich can run faster than yours!"
"You're on!" Sora beamed before cheering, "Wahoo! Faster!"
"Well, at least someone's having a great time here!" Anna smiled as she noticed, "Oh, look! The bird's back!"
The hornbill flew along side the lion cub, as he told him, "I think it's time that you and I arranged a heart to heart~"
However, he wasn't looking where he was going and ended up crashing into a rhinoceros's behind. The cub taunted, "Kings don't need advice from little hornbills for a start~"
"If this is where the monarchy is headed, count me out!" The bid complained as he recovered quickly flew onto a long unaware it was going down stream, "Out of service, out of Africa - I wouldn't hang about..." The log then went over the waterfall with the bird with it , "Aagh!" Thankfully, he flew off it it before it crashed into the waters below, "This child is getting wildly out of wing~"
"Oh, I just can't wait to be king!" The cub declared as everyone hopped off the ostriches and ran between a herd of zebras standing in attention.
When Hans, the Imperials, and the bird caught up, the zebras turned their backs to them with their tails pointing up causing hesitation for anyone to go through. As everyone scattered and hid between the other animals of the African jungle, Elsa called out to Sora, "Sora! Stay close! Where are you, sweetie?!"
"I'm over here!" The boy called out to her. Elsa turned around to see him running towards her. She quickly ran to home hoping to meet up with him there...
...only for him to be grabbed again by Hans, "Gotcha!"
"No!" Elsa went to get him back until Hans pointed his blaster at her.
"Enough of these games! You're dying now!" Hans declared ready to pull the trigger...
...until the cub, now standing on a giraffe's head declared, "Everybody look left~"
"GAH!" Hans's eyes widened in horror as a stampede of animals, with Sven and Ace, came running towards him from the left.
He tried to escape but was trampled over making him drop the boy in Elsa's arms. He stood back half-ditzy before the cub sang, "Everybody look right~"
The animals then ran him over again from the right making Sora and Elsa giggle. The lion cub leaped from head to head of the herd of giraffes, "Everywhere you look I'm~" He side down the neck of the last giraffe as beam of light shined down on him, "...standing in the spotlight~"
"Not yet!" The bird and a half dazed Prince declared before be trampled over yet again.
"Let every creature go for broke and sing~" All the animals sang being encouraged by Anna while Jason whispered something to a hippopotamus, who then passed it on to a giraffe, who then passed it on to a very eager monkey.
Hans, by some miracle, recovered from being trampled over by countless animals, brushed himself from all the dirt he gathered... only to be grabbed by a swarm of monkeys bringing him to the tree tops as happy crocodiles sang, "Let's hear it in the herd and on the wing~"
The opened the jaws to reveal happy tweeting birds. While giraffes lifted both cubs, Sora, and Olaf into the air much to their enjoyment. While everyone was getting a good laugh at an annoyed Hans getting groomed by monkeys, as they were actually finding bugs on him, "It's gonna be King Simba's finest fling~"
"Ooooooh yeah~" An animal beamed as Hans finally freed himself from the monkeys.
He looked around to find the heroes but couldn't find anyone except for the remaining half-beaten Stormtroopers, "Well, where are they?!"
One Stormtrooper pointed upwards causing Hans to turn and widened his eyes as dancing elephants swarmed around, singing hippopotamuses, standing on them where a group is singing giraffes, on them were the group of anteaters sticking out there tongues, on them was group of Antelope, on them was a single sing ostrich, and finally on it was the two cubs, Sora, Jason, and Elsa as the one called Simba declared, "Oh, I..." As the other animals joined in the chant, "...just can't wait to be king~"
"Oh, I..." Simba sang again as everyone joined in, "...just can't wait to be king~"
Hans blinked at this as he took notice of the flamingos flying around the group of towering animals. He finally had enough, "Oh, I had enough of this madness!" He then marched up to the animals one the ground, "Give that little brat now!"
He then smackedone of them causing whatever balance keeping the animals up to disassemble into chaos as Simba sang, "Oh I..." As everyone else sang regardless of the disturbed order, "...just can't waaaaaaaait~"
As the Stormtroopers made a run for it as Hans realized what he just done, "Oh no!"
Jason had used a grapple to get himself, Sora, and Elsa to safety as the ostrich landed on the heads of the anteaters causing to sick out their tongues out in pain. The giraffes got their necks twisted by eachother. An elephant landed on the horns of the antelope causing the former to yelp in pain as the song concluded, "...to be kiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnng~"
Hans had somehow ended up holding up what remained of the towering animals to hope they wouldn't crush him. Unfortunately, the weight was too much and rhinoceros landed on top of him...
When the light faded, everyone looked down to the defeated Hans, who groaned in pain, as Sora cheered, "Again! Again! Again!"
"I think he's had enough, little guy," Kristoff admitted, satisfied seeing the traitorous Prince in the state.
"I don't know," Anna shrugged, "I honestly wouldn't mind going through that a couple more times myself."
Olaf sang quietly the catchy tune, "Oh, I just can't wait to be king~"
"While it wasn't exact what I had in mind," Jason smiled as he ruffled Sora's hair making him giggle, "...good work, buddy."
"How are you feeling?" Elsa asked in concern.
"I'm okay, still hungry though," The boy admitted much to everyone's relief.
"Your majesty!" Everyone heard the captain of the guard call out. Everyone turned to see they already had to see the remaining troopers in custody, he smiled in relief, "So, you were able to bring back summer?"
"It would appear that way," Elsa smiled at the captain before wondering, "Is everyone back in Arendelle alright?"
"Well, the Duke of Weaseltown is a bit cranky..."
"WESELTON!" A voice cried out from miles away.
"...but I believe everyone's going to be okay," He smiled. He then looked around, "Now, where's Hans? He's the only Imperial that we haven't accounted for."
"That jerk?" Anna blinked as she and the others turned around, "...we've got him beat right..." When they turned to see the defeated Prince, he was long gone, "...here... where did he...?"
Jason knelt down to observe the area where Hans once was as Ace sniffed around for the Prince. Elsa turned to the captain, "He was too banged up to move on his own. Search around he may be close by."
"Don't waste your time," Jason told the others, getting their attention, "He's long gone." He gestured to the slim scorch marks on the ground, "Looks like the Grand Admiral used teleportation to grab Hans and get out."
"So, he got away," Anna frowned in disappointment.
"So much for getting any useful information on him," Jason stood up annoyed.
"Like this..." Sora pulled out a device out much to everyone's shock.
Jason took the said device and examined it, as Elsa turned to the boy, "Sora? Where did you find that?"
"The mean man dropped it when the animals ran him over," Sora answered honestly.
Elsa and Anna snickered at the memory of that as the Captain wondered, "Animals? There's only the hound and a reindeer here..."
"Yeah, you kinda had to be there," Anna turned to the Captain as she laughed, "...it was really hilarious!"
"Huh? Hans must have used this to communicate with the other Imperials..." Jason observed the device, "If I can check out some of its previous messages, it could lead me to someone who knows more of Operation Kingdom." He chuckled as he turned to Sora, "Good find, buddy. You'll make a fine detective yet."
Sora smiled with pride as Elsa asked him, "You can really do that..."
"Well, computers was always more of Barbra's thing but I may know someone who knows the Empire's tech better than I do..." Red Hood admitted as he put the device away, "For now, let's head back to Arendelle, and make sure the Empire doesn't have any more surprises here."
"Can we get some food while we're there?" Sora asked hopefully.
"Of course," The Queen smiled as she lightly brushed the boy's hair, "I'll have the chiefs wipe you up something."
"You will?!" Anna beamed.
"Now, that I have better control of my powers," Elsa smiled at her sister, "There's no need for me to slam the door on anyone again."
Anna and Olaf beamed at that. Sven and Ace panted as Kristoff smiled at that. While Jason gave a sad smile as he turned to his hand as green mist came off of it. While curious of how he got these powers now, his biggest concern of how he was going to explain that he and Sora needed to keep moving. Unlikely to see any of them again.
Not to mention a much bigger concern. How does no one else notice this crisis going on. Surely someone had to by now.
Unaware to the heroes, someone did notice and left that world leaving a small spark of magic behind him...
And that will conclude today's chapter... and boy Hans got it a lot worse than getting punched in the face and knocked over a ship, now did he? He might be traumatized by little Simba though. Kinda funny he got overwhelmed by a kid who just couldn't wait to be king! XD
And what was that at the end there. Who witnessed the final battle? Someone from DC's world or somewhere else?
Next time, as Arendelle celebrates the return of summer and its freedom from the Empire, it's time for friends to say goodbye. However, is that it for Elsa's story? Will she follow Sora, Jason, and Ace into the unknown? What will become of Hans? And what happened on Earth since Jason left? Stay tuned and find out!
