Ryuga approached a flight of stairs that led to a Buddhist-esque Temple. The air felt light, carrying a lavender fragrance pleasing to Ryuga's nose. Sharpening his nerves, Ryuga began to walk up the temple's stairs, his amber eyes shining like the sun.

Along his way up, he began to feel a nagging sensation; it was like the hairs on his skin were bristled by a silent mosquito. He didn't understand why, but the sensation gave him a slight empowerment, making him feel a bit drunk.

It reminded him about the Dark Power and its intoxicating qualities. Greediness and power were well inside Ryuga's mind.

"I can feel a rich source of power coming from below this temple. It's like a large cesspool of energy. This world has a unique power that could benefit us.

L-Drago was the first to feel this power before Ryuga. Since entering this world, L-Drago felt something beneath the earth, like a maze of swirling energy connected with various lines.

"So, a hotspot of power, huh? How do you feel?" Ryuga questioned as he continued his walk.

"Ever since we stepped foot on this temple, I feel significantly stronger. I don't know what it is, but it boosts my spirits."

"I see…hmm," Ryuga made it to the top of the stairs, and his eyes caught sight of a few residents standing in the open area of the temple.

Ryuga stepped past the mountain gate, his eyes carefully darting from one side to the other as he buried the landscape in his mind. Although he couldn't feel the power to the extent that L-Drago could, it continued to pester him.

Ryuga's calm but intense steps alerted the men who wore similar clothes to Buddhist monks. However, one look into Ryuga's eyes told them he wasn't just here to reach enlightenment or offer a prayer.

They only felt their instincts telling them to be extremely cautious when talking to this young man, who couldn't be older than 16 or 17.

However, one of them walked forward. Ryuga watched the man approach; his hair was a plain black color, cut into a Caesar-style buzz cut, and a growing beard. His fair skin and Japanese features were quite plain, but to Ryuga, he could feel that this man wasn't to be taken lightly.

"Interesting…"

"Young man, are you here for a prayer?"

This is a logical question, given what the temple is. Ryuga is quite tall for his age, so much so that this man, clearly in his early thirties, was not much taller than him.

"I'm going further into the mountain," Ryuga didn't feel like telling the man his initial plans. It was best to keep that under wraps.

"You don't strike me as a Hiker…" The man chuckled but immediately stopped when Ryuga's eyes seemed to blaze.

Literally

"I think you misheard me…"

The man seemed to harden his face, and his once gentle demeanor diminished into that of a man who could kill with a single look, but it mattered little in the face of the Dragon Emperor.

"I heard you quite clearly, but this is sacred ground. If I allow you to go any further, it would cause a few problems."

Ryuga closed his eyes. His arms were crossed previously, but he let them touch his sides. After a few seconds, Ryuga opened his eyes. Their blazing radiance was like the bulb of an angler fish in the ocean's murky depths.

Ryuga flicked his wrist, and the gauntlet popped open a small compartment that held his Bey, L-Drago.

Sensing the immediate threat, the priest stepped back and turned his head to see the others preparing.

"I won't bother with words," Ryuga pointed L-Drago at the priest, causing a storm of confused looks from everyone.

To the priests gathered, they exchanged looks, and one of them went as far as to laugh, causing Ryuga to furrow a brow.

"You can't come here making demands and threaten us with a toy."

A turbulent silence followed after the priest spoke, getting the one that first spoke to Ryuga to frown upon seeing the look on Ryuga's face.

The circular piece of metal to the priest looked like a toy top, with an intricate silver-colored design and three Eastern-style dragon heads.

But the priest couldn't help but sweat as he felt the air begin to heat. It was a relatively cool day, with the sun behind a family of clouds. Yet, it felt as if the sun appeared directly at his doorstep!

"Threaten? I don't make threats. Let me show you exactly why I'm the Dragon Emperor!"

Ryuga, with a wave of his hand, threw L-Drago on the ground. This action caused the priest to jump back as they eyed the spinning top with curiosity and caution.

It didn't take long for the same priest from before to laugh.

"Is that it? I was expecting something more."

Ryuga didn't respond with words but with a smirk that revealed his pure white teeth.

"Awaken, L-Drago!"

The Beyblade, spinning slowly, began to speed up abruptly, causing the wind around the temple to fluctuate!

The wind, becoming visible to those present, couldn't help but feel anxiety surface within them as the spinning top began to glow a dense, fiery red!

"What's happening!" Everyone began to shout with worry as the spinning top increased its momentum.

"Heh," Ryuga finally understood why L-Drago said he felt stronger here. This was truly a hotspot, a hidden reservoir waiting to be used!

The Priests couldn't help but feel a chill run through their body like an invasive virus. Their heads began to sweat profusely as the spinning top caused a heatwave to storm the temple grounds.

Their previous laughter and doubt about the small object quickly changed their tune, revealing their true feelings.

Fear!

This was the only thing they felt at this dire moment, and it certainly began to feel as if their brains were beginning to lose function.

Several monks fell on one knee, while others flat-out fainted!

"That's enough! We'll give you clearance!"

Ryuga continued to smirk, his white hair dancing in the strong gusts of winds that circled the entire temple, trapping them in a silent tornado that promised unseen destruction.

"Come back, L-Drago."

L-Drago slowed down its speed and returned to Ryuga's open palm. The young man didn't flinch from the scorching heat that L-Drago exuded but embraced it.

Ryuga needed to remember that he was in a new world and, as such, needed to put his foot down in case he started to lose his edge. These priests were a good start, as they loved to gossip whenever they could, like school kids.

It was a perfect way to cement his place here.

Ryuga remained silent as he walked past the fidgeting group of priests.

"Who are you, really?"

"Remember this well: the Dragon Emperor that reigns over the earth has returned."

With a dramatic flick of his coat, Ryuga created his path toward the deeper recesses of the mountain. Although he seemed confident, he was worried that L-Drago might've been lenient, but the laughing priest also disrespected his partner.

As the sun faded, the orange skies were replaced by the pale, almost blue moonlight, and the continuous sounds of crickets erupted into a chorus.

Ryuga could be seen standing in an open area, sweat glistening from his intense session of training. In his hands, L-Drago pulsated with raw power.

Around Ryuga were several crags, large dents on the ground that could be mistaken for craters and fallen trees. To normal people, this amount of training seemed excessive, but this wasn't even scratching the surface for Ryuga.

"This red glow you got going on, what is happening?" Ryuga questioned, beckoning his partner for an answer.

"I can only assume this is the result of training in this specific area, or perhaps it's the benefits of this world. Either way, I need to expel it, or perhaps it's time to evolve again,"

"Yes, a new world requires a fresh change, but I'll need to find suitable materials."

Ryuga wiped his forehead, his shirtless appearance shining completely as he walked towards a fresh body of water.

A week went by in the blink of an eye, and Manaka and her father, Hiroki, and Ayaka were at their Fuyuki compound near a fresh and unbothered leyline that connected directly to Mount Enzou's convergence.

Reading a simple book, Manaka began to eye her sister, Ayaka.

Ayaka was a young child, around ten years old, with medium-length hazelnut brown hair, a stark contrast to Manaka's platinum blonde. Ayaka shared the distinct blue eyes the Sajyou family possessed, but they were hiding behind a pair of rectangle glasses.

She is wearing a white dress with black stockings and brown flat shoes.

Manaka noticed that Ayaka seemed to have been fidgeting more than normal, as if she was holding a secret that would get her killed.

"What's wrong, Ayaka?" Manaka's voice was soft, which was a rare thing to hear since she usually speaks monotonously.

"I-I've been hearing howls…"

Manaka lifted a brow. It was common for the natural wildlife to make such noises, but that wasn't enough to warrant her sister's constant fidgeting.

"It was probably just a fox or a bear, Sister," Manaka responded firmly, hoping to calm down her younger sister.

"I-I don't think it was. It's been coming from the mountain for the past week. And sometimes I see a large, red figure."

"Oh? Are you positive?"

This was certainly news to Manaka.

Ayaka frantically nodded.

Manaka lifted herself off the lavish, blank white sofa as they were in the living room. The book in her hands snapped shut and was locked by a quick spell.

"A magical pulse…followed by a strange howling in the mountains."

"A-Are you going to check it out? The mountains are filled with dangerous animals, Sister!"

"That's true, but we're running low on supplies, so think of me as going on a harvesting trip to restock," Manaka smiled. It was serene under the filtering sunlight.

"What about Father?"

"Hmph, he's off doing something, most likely trying to figure out how to enter the Holy Grail War next year…"

Although the Holy Grail didn't excite her, she was slightly interested in how it could create a miracle like it supposedly can from what she studied. This upcoming war will be the 4th.

"Anyway, I'm off. If Dad asks where I went, tell him I'm doing what I came here to do."

Manaka trusted her Sister enough to leave her alone. Her timid and skittish nature kept her safe from harm, allowing Manaka to have no worries.

Now, to see what beast was making Mount Enzou its turf, a surge of excitement sprung from the depths of her being!

AN: I added more than I wrote before when Ryuga used L-Drago to add flair and show how much fear inducement they can bring. And I found a decent place to the Beyblade Metal Saga Manga, so a lot of stuff will happen.

I'm surprised people tuned in for this story, considering what Beyblade is, but when you dive into its lore, it's full of crazy shit that thinking logically will not help you. I plan to incorporate more on the Beyblade side of things in this crossover, but for now, Ryuga and L-Drago are my main priority.

I don't know if I'll tackle a pairing(s) in this story, though Ryuga will age, so I guess I'm open to a suggestion(s).

- Blankslate00: Aye, I hope you stick around for more; this was a spur-of-the-moment thing; I didn't think I'd go a bit further than what I thought.
