For the following eleven days, the people in Hyrule Castle got busier each day in preparation for Leonidas and Lucinda's wedding. On the eleventh day, Leonidas and Lucinda were not allowed to see each other until the wedding the following day so Zelda told them the day before that they could each do whatever they wanted as long as they didn't see each other. With that said, Lucinda decided to go into Castle Town for a while, knowing Leonidas had to stay in the castle.

Once in Castle Town, Lucinda decided to check the scenery and noticed that things were as lively as when she came for the ball. She then noticed a band playing some music nearby and decided to listen.

"Hey Lucinda," said someone who gave Lucinda a surprise before she realized it was Vanessa, "I didn't think you would be here right now." "How have you been?"

"Well I have been busy lately," answered Lucinda, "I had so much stuff to do though once I got through it, I admit it was kind of worth it."

"You must truly love the prince don't you," asked Vanessa," "It's great to know that." "Though if you ever have problems, you can always write letters to me and the others at Ordon."

"I'm guessing since you're here, the others are as well," asked Lucinda.

"Indeed," answered Vanessa," we've been here for two days now." "Anyway, I should be going now." "I'm looking forward to tomorrow."

Once Vanessa left, Lucinda decided that she should return to the castle thinking that she should see how the preparations were one last time before the wedding.

Meanwhile Leonidas was at the knights hall watching the knights who were present practicing with swords and spears.

"It's good to see how the knights fight every now and then," said Leonidas to himself as he watched two knights sparring with one using a sword and the other using a spear.

"Prince Leonidas," said Ashei who was coming to Leonidas, "I didn't think you would be here today." "Are you just watching the knights?"

"Well I just find it fascinating," replied Leonidas, "Watching swordplay is different than doing it but it's interesting to know how different it is for each person."

"Well you should have seen the knights during the Twilight Invasion," said Ashei, "During that time they couldn't handle the threat well." "Once I became general some time after when your mother became queen, I worked way too hard to make sure they became stronger and braver." "By the way," are you excited for your wedding tomorrow?"

"Excited and nervous," admitted Leonidas, "For now though I'm just enjoying today seeing as how everything is ready for tomorrow."

"Well I'll leave you to it then Your Highness," said Ashei who then left to her usual duties as general.

A few minutes later, Leonidas had his fill of watching the knights and left to find something else to do knowing that it was only a matter of time until he was married. The rest of the day was then spent by Lucinda and Leonidas each continuing to enjoy the day while they each wondered what would happen the next day.

The following morning, Hyrule Castle was filling up with people from all over Hyrule including some Gorons and Zoras while the people in the castle were getting ready for the wedding that would happen in just one hour. During that time Leonidas was in his room with some maids who were helping him with putting on a black outfit that he would wear at the wedding.

"You look handsome right now, Your Highness," said Finola, who was among the maids, "I've never seen you look so good before."

"Well it is my wedding so I should look my best," replied Leonidas.

"True," said Finola, "Now I think you are ready so we should be done here."

Finola and the other maids then left, leaving Leonidas alone.

"I wonder how Lucinda is doing right now," thought Leonidas to himself right before leaving for the throne room.

Meanwhile in Lucinda's room, Lucinda was with even more maids who were helping her with her wedding dress which was a gown that she thought was larger than the dress she wore at the ball. Her hair was also tied into a bun which was needed for the veil which was a thin one that went behind her and almost touched the floor.

"Look at you," said Meora, who was one of the maids assigned to Lucinda, "I've never seen someone so beautiful before."

"Thanks," thanked Lucinda, "Though I wish this was more comfortable." "I just hope that the dresses I'll be wearing after this are more comfortable than this."

Once Lucinda was ready, the maids were finished and they left her alone. Knowing that the wedding was going to happen soon, she left as well and headed for the entrance to the throne room.

In the throne room, Leonidas was standing in his position for when the wedding would happen. As he waited, he decided to look at all the guests who were attending which he realized included some of the people he recognized from Ordon Village, Luda and her son Ray who represented Kakariko Village, Ko the Goron chief as well as Darbus the Goron elder, the Zora royal family, and even the royal family of Wanlo who Leonidas remembered being told that Zelda planned to invite once the alliance was formed.

"Mother sure does trust a lot of people," thought Leonidas to himself, "Though it seems that none of the nobles are here."

Outside the entrance to the throne room, Lucinda had arrived and she met with six women who Zelda had selected to be the bridesmaids as well as a little young girl and young boy who were the chosen flower girl and ring bearer.

"Lady Lucinda," said one of the bridesmaids while giving Lucinda an orange bouquet, "We believe you should have this."

Lucinda then got hold of the bouquet and right after, she could hear music from in the throne room.

"Well here we go," thought Lucinda to herself knowing the wedding was starting.

In the throne room, Leonidas watched as the flower girl and ring bearer walked the aisle as the music played. Right after came the bridesmaids and as they walked, Leonidas felt like he was going to be amazed and what he was going to see next. Soon after, Lucinda came in and walked down the aisle herself with a smile for she was feeling happy despite her discomfort with her dress. As Lucinda was walking toward Leonidas, everyone in the room believed that she was incredible and seemed to be a worthy wife for the prince of Hyrule while Leonidas was feeling like he was looking at a super pretty version of Lucinda. Once Lucinda made it to Leonidas, she gave her bouquet to the bridesmaids and joined hands with Leonidas. After that, a middle aged cleric Zelda hired for the wedding started to speak.

"To all present," said the cleric, "We gather today to witness the marriage of Prince Leonidas and Lady Lucinda." "If there is an objection, please speak."

The room was silent and then the cleric continued.

"Leonidas, do you take Lucinda as your wife to love and cherish, to protect and be protected by and to always be with for as long as you live," asked the cleric to Leonidas.

"I do," answered Leonidas, feeling happy.

"And Lucinda, do you take Leonidas as your husband to love and cherish, to protect and be protected by and to always be with for as long as you live," asked the cleric to Lucinda.

"I do," answered Lucinda, feeling happy just like Leonidas.

Leonidas and Lucinda were then each given golden rings with the crest of Hyrule and they then put them on the other's ring finger.

"I pronounce this royal couple husband and wife," said the cleric, "You may kiss now."

Leonidas and Lucinda then kissed with lots of strength feeling like things were perfect at that moment. While they were kissing, everyone there was clapping, feeling proud for the prince and new princess.

With the ceremony complete, everyone went to the ballroom for the wedding reception. Once it started, a four layer cake was brought in and Leonidas and Lucinda cut it giving themselves each a slice.

"So this is what it feels like to be married," said Lucinda while she was eating her slice of cake," "It feels better than I expected."

"It does," agreed Leonidas as he ate his slice of cake, "It also feels good that everyone here is happy for us."

By the time the couple finished their cake, they knew it was time for their first dance as a married couple. So they went to the center of the room and began to dance before more couples followed.

"You're doing so much better at this than when we first met," said Leonidas to Lucinda, noticing they were dancing far better than before, "All that practice paid off."

"To be fair," said Lucinda, "I had to take it as seriously as I could to be a worthy wife for you."

At one point, Zelda appeared and got the attention of everyone present.

"I would like to thank everyone here for coming today," said Zelda, "Right now we celebrate my son's wedding and I must say that I am proud of him for it." "I hope that in the coming years that we all support him and his new wife while they enjoy their marriage." "Now I believe it's time for my new daughter in law to toss her bouquet."

Knowing her cue, Lucinda was given the bouquet from before and tossed it behind her to the single women who had hoped to catch it. In the end it was caught by Vanessa which made Lucinda happy once she looked behind her to see who caught it.

Right after, Lucinda and Leonidas decided to see Ilia who they noticed was talking to Abigail.

"I'm proud of you Lucinda," said Ilia once she noticed the couple had come," "You must be very happy now huh?"

"I am Mother," replied Lucinda, "I see you've just met Link's wife."

"Indeed," said Abigail, "Ilia is a kind woman and it's good to know that she was my husband's friend from childhood."

"Where is Link anyway," asked Leonidas.

"Rika was getting bored a while ago so Link is taking her somewhere where she could be entertained," answered Abigail, "Fortunately, he was able to see Ilia before that and they were able to catch up."

"I still can't believe how much Link had changed over the years," said Ilia, "He's so much more mature now."

After some talking with Ilia and Abigail, Leonidas and Lucinda then decided to find Zelda who they found had just finished talking to Ralis and Ko.

"How are you doing Mother," asked Leonidas to Zelda.

"I'm doing quite fine," answered Zelda, "I'm glad to see you with someone who can make you happy." "Now I suppose it's time I told you about your honeymoon."

"Where is it," asked Lucinda.

It will happen at Gryo Village," explained Zelda, "It's the only village in Hyrule that has a beach and I already informed the people who live there about this decision." "Once this reception is over, please get ready." "I'm sure you'll enjoy it there."

The reception continued for four hours and then once it ended, Leonidas and Lucinda were given luggage for the honeymoon and then went to the carriage that would take them to Gryo Village. When the carriage set off, the wedding guests waved to the couple good luck while Leonidas and Lucinda were waving back hoping that things would always be joyful to them.
