It wasn't until the two boys were outside the club room, 3 minutes early that it hit Sero. 'Wait' he gasped 'Uraraka is has something going on with a wanted villain!?' Todoroki looked at him, his hand still on the doorknob 'and?' 'That's... illegal' 'it really isn't, as long as she doesn't help Toga with criminal activity' 'how can you say that!' 'Aizawa Sensei's childhood friend is kirogiri, the number two hero is dating shigaraki and Dabi OPENLY, the police doesn't care because their work and love life's are separate and having a partner lowers criminal activity in villains by 30%' Sero didn't believe what he was hearing, how did Todoroki know all this and why didn't he care? But then again he had a point, people shouldn't have to date people depending on if they're quirkless, pro villain or hero. 'Come on, maybe this club will give you a more open mind' Todoroki said, walking in to the classroom. The tables were pushed against a wall and stacked over each other in 2 rows and 6 columns. Most of the chairs were again stacked over each other this time next to the board, however 5 chairs unstacked and in a rough circle on the floor. Mina, jiro, and Momo were sitting next to each other, there were two chairs left empty. ' I texted Mina before hand, so she and the others got everything ready for a 5th member ahead of time' 'ok' Sero was still processing what Todoroki had said before they had entered the club room. 'This classroom is only used on friday detention so Nzu let us use it' Mina explained once they had taken their seats. Jiro laughed ' part of detention is to get the tables and chairs down when you come in and up again before you leave' 'so that's why Bakugou stopped trying to kill Midoriya'
The three settled into a easy conversation leaving Momo and Todoroki in awkward Silence. He never thought Sero was the type of person to join a gossip club but here he was. Todoroki observed how his black hair moved while he talking, how often he threw his head back and laughed, Todoroki didn't understand why but he... felt this strange desire to make him laugh like that. 'Oh Shoto' Mina suddenly exclaimed 'The other day I heard...' she launched into an explanation of some rumour she heard. Sero stopped listening, why was he so upset that Mina and Todoroki were on a first name basis. Obviously they were, by how close the two were it would be weird if they weren't but why did he wish he were on a first name basis instead of her? ' I heard something similar from Uraraka, I'll do some research to confirm' Todoroki's voice brought him back to the present. 'It's already 3:40, Let's end here' Momo yawned. 'Time really does fly' Mina said remembering the good old days when they had 2hr meetings 'really? I have yet fully grasp the complete concept of time but as far I know time does not have the ability to fly' to that everyone but Sero laughed, it was somewhat funny who little Shoto understood idioms. 'She meant she didn't realise 40 minutes had passed since she has distracted by our conversation' Sero explained awkwardly 'thank you' Momo and jiro had just left and Mina was packing her things 'cya lovebirds!' 'Do you want to come over to my dorm to do the homework?' 'Well-' 'my roommate- kirishima is out and-' 'ok' Sero smiled 'is 5pm ok?' 'Yes' 'sweet, so I'll see you then?' 'You will' The two boys parted ways, Todoroki towards the training ground and Sero towards His dorm, urgently needing to clean it up.
