After reviewing the plan Lincoln had agreed but now here comes the hard part
telling the others about Lincoln considering who they're up against
oh this was gonna be rough
"sonic you're back and-" Amy began before seeing Lincoln
she pulled out her hammer and immediately tried to hit Lincoln but he dodged it
"you didn't tell them?" Lincoln asked sonic
"well I didn't want to worry them." Sonic said
Lily stared at the hammer with stars in her eyes
soon the other members of the resistance came filling out the building
"before you all do anything they're friends." Sonic said going on front of Lincoln
Lily jumped onto Lincoln's shoulder
"Hello!" Lily said cheerfully
"why the fuck does she have my hands?" Knuckles asked
Lincoln stared into his soul
"don't curse in front of Lily." Sonic said "if you want to know why ask vector."
tails then noticed the phantom ruby in lily's chest
"how is-" tails asked
"we don't know we just kinda found it." Lincoln said
"better question why does she look like me?" Tails asked
"I'm a metal sonic and lily used to be a robot too." Lincoln said
"she was a metal tails that was given the hands of a metal knuckles is that right?" Tails asked
"that's my best guess." Lincoln said
"it doesn't matter where they came from we gotta take down neo metal sonic!" Sonic said "let's get going!"
everyone got ready and flew to angle island
everyone split up into their teams
Lincoln and Lily were with sonic and knuckles
"it's door." Lincoln said in front the door to the master emerald
knuckles tore it open
"it Was a door." Knuckles said "also dibs on metal."
"sorry bud but I already have dibs." Lincoln said
they saw Neo metal sonic sitting on the master emerald like a throne
"it's over pointy our friends are wrecking your stuff and we're here to stop you." Sonic said
"release the master emerald now!" Knuckles said
"the resistances efforts do not concern me they will become a black spot on the floor." Neo metal sonic said
"you really gonna damage your floors like that?" Lincoln asked
Neo metal sonic finally noticed him
"who are you inferior copy?" Neo metal sonic asked
"inferior? Nah I'm the upgrade." Lincoln said
"you didn't even destroy sonic." Neo metal sonic said
"well neither did you." Lincoln said
that pissed Neo metal off
"very well I will show you true pain." Neo metal sonic said
he began to absorb energy from the master emerald turning to a super form
"you're done for." Neo metal sonic said
"what does yellow mean?" Lincoln asked
"he's invincible now." Sonic said "at least until he runs out of energy."
"so if I can out last him until he runs out of energy then I can win." Lincoln said "but that's how losers think!"
Lincoln pulled out a phantom ruby energy container
"TURN UP THE VOLUME BECAUSE THIS IS FUNERAL FOR THE LIVING!!" Lincoln yelled as he absorbed the phantom ruby energy transforming into his phantom form
"alright! Phantom Lincoln!" Sonic yelled
Neo metal sonic rushed in but Lincoln grabbed his hands
"is that all you got?" Lincoln asked
Neo metal tried to headbutt him but Lincoln didn't even flinch he Just laughed
then Lincoln head butted him even harder knocking the super out of Neo metal sonic
"what?!" Neo metal sonic said looking at himself as he realized Lincoln knocked the super out of him
"is that the best you got?" Lincoln said " I'm honestly disappointed."
suddenly shadow appeared and stabbed Neo metal sonic with a chaos spear before kicking him to the master emerald
"shadow?!?" Knuckles sonic and Lincoln questioned
"I'll finish this." Shadow said
Neo metal sonic laughed
"fools. Dr eggman upgraded me and removed my pesky limitations all I need is sonic's bio data the ultimate life form's bio data." Neo metal sonic began
his face transformed into a monster like form
"AND THE MASTER EMERALD ITSELF!!!" Neo metal sonic yelled
meanwhile
Mecha sonic and knuckles were supervising the village when...
"Help me!" Mr tinker yelled
they saw two skunks kidnapping the amnesiac man
"release mr tinker this instant." Mecha sonic said ready for combat
suddenly a portal opened up behind them
"Bye losers!" They said before jumping in
the portal closed before Mecha sonic could get them
"we must find them if they're planning what I think they're planning then we're all in danger." Mecha sonic said
with Lincoln
the ground began to rumble
"he disconnected the master emerald from angel island the island will sink!" Knuckles yelled
"kneel before your metal overlord!" Metal overlord yelled as he finshed transforming
Lincoln rushed in and began to fight
"Behold my perfect power!" Metal overlord said firing a laser
Lincoln dodged it and teleported to metal overlord's head
"BE PERFECT IN HELL!!!" Lincoln yelled as he punched metal overlord's head
however he ran out of phantom ruby energy
metal overlord sent Lincoln flying into a mountain with a swing of his claws
and seeing this made something in Lily snap
her eyes glowed magenta as the phantom ruby glowed more brightly than it ever did before
"child you think you can beat me?" Metal overlord asked finally noticing her
"I have seen many things. cultures being born and dying out people being praised for the actions that change everything only to be forgotten years later." "Lily" said "but the fleeting things in existence make it interesting. Allow me to demonstrate."
suddenly water began to flow through out every crevice and began to surround Lily
what concerned the resistance though...
was the fact there was water coming from the master emerald
"roses are red weapons against me won't prosper." "Lily" said "with these treasures I summon: the god of water: prefect Chaos."
they heard a primal screech as the water began to take shape
it was a huge dragon like creature with lily somehow on its head
Lincoln saw this and his database had one thing to say
Perfect chaos
"impossible!" Metal overlord said "chaos was destroyed!"
"nothing is impossible for me: the phantom ruby." The phantom ruby itself spoke through Lily "chaos as well as all things bend to our will."
perfect chaos immediately slammed into metal overlord and tried to rip the master emerald out of him
metal overlord tried to shake perfect chaos off but Lincoln grabbed his claw
"You're done!" Lincoln yelled as the rest of the resistance attacked
eventually perfect chaos ripped the master emerald out of metal overlord and placed it back on angel island preventing the island from sinking
as metal overlord fell apart something happened to perfect chaos
the phantom ruby (and by extension Lily) absorbed them gaining their power and abilities
after that lily fell unconscious clearly drained from using such power
luckily Lincoln caught her
"thanks for the help!" Sonic said
"you're welcome I'm gonna take her back home." Lincoln said before flying off
when he got there he saw elder scruffy tied up on a pole
"elder scruffy what happened?!" Lincoln asked getting him down
"two people took mr tinker." Elder scruffy said "Mecha sonic and spike tried to stop them but they teleported away and now they're on the hunt for them."
Lincoln handed Lily to the elder
"take care of her for me for a bit." Lincoln said "I got a human to find."
and with that he flew off

metal stared at the food in front of him apparently he needed to refuel or else he won't be able to live
apparently the male creator of this body or "father" handled cooking "food" for the people here and was apparently very consistent about it
good. he liked consistency
"Lin-er bud you haven't touched your food." The one wearing purple said
metal knew how to eat he just never had a need to
he picked up his fork stabbed some food and ate it
it wasn't that bad
"well at least he's eating." The one in purple said
"I don't understand why we're bothering with this machine in flesh-" the small one in glasses said only to be cut off when metal threw a knife directly into the wall behind her barely missing her
metal let out something akin to a growl since why should he bother talking to these fools he just needed to send a message to the small one for daring to think he's a mindless machine
(note to self: do not enlist the help of the glasses wearing brat. She may be smart but she isn't wise) metal thought to himself
he went over ripped the knife out of the wall and went back to eating as if nothing happened
"he does know there's drywall on that knife right?" The one in a sports jersey asked
metal continued to eat uncaring what was on the knife
