Mimi and Joe wandered around the Central Shopping District, now akin to a ghost town.

"Is this the Central Shopping District? These coffins are giving me the creeps," Mimi said, wandering around.

"Staying frightened won't do us any good. We must do our part and find Kinji and Rise," Joe replied.

"That would have sounded cooler if your knees weren't shaking."

"I can't help but be as scared as you are. This whole situation is new to me as well."

"Still, at least we are together, so there is one positive in all of this."

"Did you say something, Mimi?"

"No, I didn't say anything. Hey, I think that's Kanji's house, right? I remember him saying that his family owns a textile shop. Let's get going."

Mimi and Joe arrived at the textile store.

"Excuse me, we're coming in," Mimi said, slowly opening the door.

Mimi and Joe looked around the shop, only to be answered in silence.

"Kanji, are you here? If you are, please say something," Mimi said.

"It doesn't look like anyone's here," Joe said.

"Let's look inside further."

"Mimi, you can't do that. It'd be rude."

"I know, but this is an emergency right now. What if Kanji turned into a coffin? We need to make sure he's safe."

"Okay, I'm going with you, but only because I want to make sure the only thing you do is check on Kanji. I hate doing things like this. I hope Kanji and his parents will forgive me."

Mimi and Joe entered the living room and headed upstairs to Kanji's room.

"Kanji, are you in there," Mimi asked, knocking on the door.

There was no response.

"Well, I guess he's not here. Let's head back outside and try something else," Joe quickly said.

Mimi grabbed the doorknob and turned it, opening the door.

"Mimi, you can't do that. That's trespassing into someone's restricted area," Joe informed.

Mimi continued to open the door, but no one was inside.

"Well, he's not in his room, but that doesn't mean he hasn't turned into a coffin. Where would someone like Kanji be at this hour," Mimi questioned.

"I don't know, but can we please exit? My morality is hurting me," Joe said.

Mimi closed the door, and the two of them left Kanji's house. They went further down the Central Shopping District until they arrived at Rise's tofu shop. Again, Mimi opened the door and headed to Rise's room with Joe behind her. When Mimi confirmed that Rise was not present at the house, the two left the tofu store.

"I guess Rise hasn't come back from work yet. She must be busy with her idol duties," Mimi said.

"I guess so, but you would think she would still be home even at this hour," Joe replied.

"I hope she's at a hotel near her work, sleeping peacefully and not worrying about what is happening here."

"I hope so, too. If no one is here, we should start heading to the tower. If nothing else, I know the rest of our team will arrive there eventually. We can wait in front of the tower and meet up with Tai and the others before exploring it."

"I guess you're right. Let's start walking there."

Episode 10

As Mimi and Joe walked to the tower, they spotted two identical middle-schoolers and their pet dogs facing each other.

"Joe, look over there," Mimi said, pointing at the two children.

"What are those two kids doing, walking around here at this dangerous time," Joe remarked.

"They are adorable. Are they twins? They even have the same dogs, too."

"I don't know. Doesn't one look a bit more menacing than the other? Wait, one of them just took out a spear. Are they about to fight?"

"Do you think they have the same powers as us?"

"I'm not sure. I don't think I recognize those two from Yu's group unless they befriended them without us knowing about it."

Suddenly, one of the boy's eyes glowed golden and summoned a robotic Persona. The Persona dashed towards the boy with the spear. The dog beside him barked to get his attention, but he barely responded.

"Look out, kid," a voice shouted.

Mimi and Joe spotted Kanji running towards the kid with the spear to protect him. The Persona struck Kanji, who fell to his knees. Registering what had happened, Mimi and Joe ran over to Kanji.

"Kanji, are you okay," Mimi asked, running over to him.

"Let me examine you," Joe asked, checking his body.

"Mimi, Joe, what are you two doing here? More importantly, kid, why are you walking your cute fluffy dog now of all times? Can't you understand that it's unsafe right now? Hurry up and find somewhere secure to hide," Kanji scolded.

"You're okay," the kid said, relieved.

"As if a hit like that would stop me," Kanji answered.

"Look out," Mimi quickly shouted.

Mimi pulled the kid over to the side while Joe grabbed Kanji out of the way. The dog that was once by the Persona-user's side jumped in the air to strike down at us, but we moved just in time.

"Is that dog a combat dog? What exactly is going on here," Joe questioned.

"Are you okay," Mimi asked the kid.

"Yes, I'm fine. You saved me. Thank you," the kid replied.

"Don't mention it. I'm Mimi, and that's Joe and Kanji. What's your name," Mimi asked.

"I'm Ken Amada, a member of the Shadow Operatives. The dog's name is Koromaru," the kid said.

"Wait, you're a member of the Shadow Operatives? Does that mean you use a Persona? Does the dog also know how to use a Persona," Kanji questioned.

"Did that strike also knock your head, Kanji? Of course, dogs don't have Personas. It's a dog," Joe replied.

"On the contrary, Koromaru is a Persona user like me," Ken answered.

"That's way too cute," Kanji replied.

"You must be pretty strong if Mitsuru recognizes your talents as a Persona user," Mimi said.

"Wait, how do you know Mitsuru? Who are you two? I read about Kanji in the files, but I don't have any information about either of you. Are you also Persona users," Ken asked.

"It's a bit hard to explain," Joe replied.

"Are you guys done playing friends yet? It's getting annoying to watch all of you catch up with each other while ignoring me," the other Ken informed us.

"With your attitude, you must be his Shadow," Mimi admonished.

"You can call me whatever you want. I'm just here for a fight. So, which one of you is going to step up to me? Even if you don't want to, your friends weaken by the second. Who knows? They won't be the same the next time you see them," Shadow Ken snickered.

"You're referring to Mitsuru and the others. What did you do to them," Ken asked angrily.

"I see no reason to answer your question at this time. Hurry up and choose who to fight me, or else I'll have to ask my friend to make that decision for me," Shadow Ken sneered.

Shadow Koromaru barked at Mimi and the others. Unbeknownst to them, Molotov cocktails began raining down from the sky. Mimi, Ken, and Koromaru moved further away. Joe tried to leave, but Kanji was still dizzy from the earlier blow.

"Joe, Kanji, look out," Mimi shouted.

"Persona," Joe screamed.

Joe shattered the card before him, donning his new attire while summoning his companion. Joe brought Kanji lower to the ground as he defended him with his shield.

"Bubble Deflector," Gomamon shouted.

Gomamon created a bubble barrier around Joe, Kanji, and himself as the Molotov cocktails continued to rain on them. Thankfully, none penetrated the barrier, and they managed to avoid the onslaught unscathed.

"You called me just in the nick of time. If you summoned me a second later, you two would have been goners," Gomamon said.

"I know. Thanks for your help, Gomamon," Joe replied.

"Oh man, you have a cute talking seal as your pet. It looks adorable. Can I touch your fur," Kanji asked.

"I don't see a problem with it, but are you sure now is a good time for petting," Gomamon questioned.

"Thank goodness they're okay," Mimi said, relieved.

"On the contrary, this is the perfect scenario. Bring on the ring," Shadow Ken shouted.

Four red pillars suddenly fell from the sky, encasing Joe, Kanji, and Gomamon.

"That was dangerous. Where did the four pillars come from," Mimi asked.

Koromaru tried to jump between the pillars, but an invisible wall prevented it from entering.

"What's the matter, Koromaru," Ken asked.

"It's the invisible walls. Kanji and Joe are trapped inside just like when we were in the Grand Prix, and we can't get in to help them," Mimi explained.

"A wounded gorilla and a pacifist doctor are just the opponents I need to make this battle a walk in the park," Shadow Ken said.

"The jokes on you. There are three of us and only two of you. Beaten up or not, we still have the numbers advantage," Kanji said.

"You're just as unintelligent as a monkey if you think that's the case," a voice said.

A familiar boy wearing a host outfit jumped elegantly into the ring.

"Normally, I would reserve that entrance for the ladies, but since we're in a type of performance, I can make an exception," the host said.

"TK," Joe said, surprised.

"I remember him. Joe, that's not TK. It's his Shadow," Mimi said.

"You got it in one go, Mimi. Your response is why women are amazing while men are trash," Shadow TK replied.

"So those flaming bottles from the sky came from you," Joe said, concerned.

"As expected from our second resident intelligent member of our team. Unlike the silly chimpanzee beside you, they pay you the big bucks, " Shadow TK snickered.

"So, what if you appeared from out of nowhere? It's three on three, but we will still knock you all out of the park," Kanji stated.

"You're still as dumb as a baboon. Primates like you should stop talking and let the real experts manage this. Our match is two against two. The dog and Gomamon are simply tools necessary to do our bidding. Nothing more, and nothing less," Shadow TK explained.

"Take that back," Ken said tensely.

"What was that," Shadow TK asked.

"You can insult me all you want, but if you talk down on Koromaru or any of my friends, I will not forgive you," Ken angrily said.

"Ken, you're a good kid," Mimi said, patting his shoulder.

Koromaru rubbed his head against Ken's leg, comforting him.

"Don't worry, Ken. It'll take more than that to break our spirits, right, Gomamon," Joe asked.

"No matter what arguments or tensions we have between each other, we will always be friends. That's the promise that we made together," Gomamon replied.

"All this talk about bonds and friendship is starting to bore me. Let's skip to the moment we beat you senseless and make you wish you had changed your ideologies," Shadow Ken said.

"I'll take you both down myself if I have to," Kanji said.

"You're still recovering from that attack earlier. Don't push yourself too hard," Joe said.

"I appreciate the thought, but sometimes a man has to do what is right. I promise I'll fight with everything I have for my friends. I won't break my word," Kanji explained.

"If you two completed your bromance, I'd like to burn and skewer you right now," Shadow Ken said.

"I'd like to see you try," Kanji replied.

"We won't try; we will do so. Persona," Shadow TK shouted.

Shadow TK summoned a hooded figure floating above a large book.

"That is an ominous Persona," Ken said, concerned.

"It's DarkWisemon," Mimi answered.

"Well then, let's get this battle started," Shadow TK proclaimed.

DarkWisemon sent the large book over to Joe and Kanji.

"Don't get captured by that book. It will send you to another dimension," Mimi said.

Joe and Kanji moved before the open book slammed above them.

"Kanji, are you sure you can fight," Joe asked.

"It will take more than that to get me to stay down. Persona," Kanji shouted.

Kanji summoned Take-Mikazuchi, a colossal titan wielding an oversized lightning bolt.

"I'm going to burn you to a crisp," Kanji yelled.

Take-Mikazuki summoned multiple lightning bolts from the sky.

"Pandora Dialogue," DarkWisemon shouted.

DarkWisemon used the stones in its hands to absorb the incoming attack and fired them back at Take-Mikazuki. Take-Mikazuki held its ground as the bolts shocked him.

"Is that the best you got," Kanji asked.

"You're very hot-headed. Try cooling down a bit," Shadow TK replied.

Shadow TK threw a bucket of water at Kanji, who blocked it with his chair.

"Do you think you can surprise me with dirty water," Kanji questioned.

Shadow TK took out a squeegee and brushed the water towards Kanji.

"What do you think you're doing, cleaning the floor in the middle of a fight," Kanji asked, trying not to get his feet wet.

When Kanji looked up, Shadow TK sprayed a bottle of cologne on his face.

"Ow, that stings. You're playing dirty," Kanji shouted.

Blinded, Kanji swung his chair back and forth, hoping to land a hit on Shadow TK.

"I'm sorry. Allow me to make it up to you," Shadow TK proposed.

Shadow TK left a box of chocolates on the ground and quickly dashed away.

"It's a little late to hand out presents," Kanji informed.

When Kanji was about to swat the present away with his chair, the present exploded, pushing him back.

"Did you enjoy my surprise present," Shadow TK asked.

"Your dirty tricks are getting on my nerves," Kanji angrily said.

Shadow TK popped a champagne cork at Kanji's face. Kanji used his chair to block it.

"You're not going to get me with that same trick again," Kanji replied.

"No, but what about this one," Shadow TK asked.

Shadow TK lit a tissue on fire, stuffed it in the champagne bottle, and threw it at Kanji. Kanji knocked the champagne bottle away, swinging it back to Shadow TK. DarkWisemon captured the burning champagne bottle and repeatedly fired multiple bottles at Kanji. Take-Mikazuchi used its weapon to destroy all the bottles while protecting Kanji with its muscular body. Meanwhile, Shadow Ken and Shadow Koromaru charged after Joe and Gomamon. Shadow Ken continuously poked Joe with his spear, but Joe managed to block each of them with his shield.

"Are you just going to stand there and take all my attacks? You're an adult, so start fighting like one," Shadow Ken scolded.

"No matter how often you jab and taunt me, I will not strike a child," Joe replied.

"I may be younger than you, but I'm still better than you in every way," Shadow Ken responded.

Shadow Koromaru spun towards Gomamon with the kunai in its mouth. Gomamon quickly jumped above Shadow Koromaru before it was able to catch it with its kunai.

"Sliding Seal," Gomamon shouted.

Landing behind Shadow Koromaru, Gomamon created a water slide and sped towards Shadow Koromaru with its claws pointed at it. Shadow Koromaru jumped and quickly dropped to the ground, hoping to strike Gomamon from above with its kunai. Gomamon moved out of the way before Shadow Koromaru could land a clean hit.

"If I can't harm you directly, maybe I could do so above you. Persona," Shadow Ken shouted.

Shadow Ken resummoned his earlier robotic Persona, Kala-Nemi, and prepared to swing a big overhead punch at Joe. Joe brought his shield above him and braced himself.

"You're wide open," Shadow Ken said, using this opportunity to strike at Joe's exposed body.

"Joe, look out! Gomamon, Four Card Arcana Digivolve to... Zudomon," Gomamon shouted.

Zudomon used its immense strength to block Kala-Nemi's punch with its bare hands. Although Joe had ample time to bring his shield down to block Shadow Ken's strike, Shadow Ken still wounded him.

"Joe," Mimi screamed.

"Hang in there," Ken shouted.

"Joe, are you alright," Zudomon asked.

"I'm okay. I'm still standing," Joe said, clutching on his side.

"If you have time to worry about others, you should worry about yourself," Shadow Ken told Zudomon.

Shadow Koromaru howled, summoning its Persona, the three-headed dog Cerberus. Cerberus breathed flames from each mouth, covering a wide net. Zudomon used its large shell to protect itself while moving Joe to a safer distance.

"I didn't expect you to bore me this much. I guess this match will be a walk in the park," Shadow Ken jeered.

Kanji threw his chair at Shadow Ken, hitting him in the head.

"Why don't you pick on someone the size of your inflated ego," Kanji asked.

"You know, I might just take you up on that offer," Shadow Ken replied, running towards him with Koromaru.

As Kanji fought with Shadow Ken and Shadow Koromaru, Zudomon tended to Joe.

"This might sting a bit," Zudomon replied.

Zudomon used its power to freeze the wound as Joe winced in pain.

"How do you feel," Zudomon asked.

"It'll do for now. Look out," Joe shouted.

Zudomon grabbed Joe and jumped out of the way as DarkWisemon slammed a large book down.

"You need to stop making this trivial. Where's the fun in all of this if you are already one foot in the grave," Shadow TK asked.

"Joe, can you still fight," Zudomon asked.

"Yeah, but at this rate, we might not make it. There must be a way we can take all three of them down. Even incapacitating one of them would be a major advantage for us," Joe replied.

"If only we could use their numbers against them or our numbers to our advantage," Zudomon said.

"That's it. It's risky, but I have an idea. We will need Kanji's help for this," Joe replied.

Meanwhile, Kanji continued to block Shadow Ken and Shadow Koromaru's onslaught.

"Is blocking with that chair the best you can do? Just how sturdy is that thing? That chair should break by now," Shadow Ken angrily said.

"If it weren't for the dog, I would have clobbered you in two seconds," Kanji retorted.

Cerberus tried to bite Take-Mikazuchi, but it stopped Cerberus from using its large weapon. Kala-Nemi struck Take-Mikazuchi with another fist full of lightning, but it caught the fist and took the brunt of the attack.

"You guys are like mice trapped in a corner. It's time for the cats to feast," Shadow TK replied.

"We'll see about that," Joe replied.

"Vulcan's Hammer," Zudomon shouted.

Zudomon slammed its hammer on the ground, sending a large shockwave to DarkWisemon.

"How many times do I have to tell you that's not going to work," Shadow TK snickered.

DarkWisemon used the orbs in its hands to absorb the incoming attack.

"Kanji, a little help here," Joe shouted.

"I'm a little occupied, but if you say so," Kanji replied.

Take-Mikazuchi swung Cerberus over to Kala-Nemi and rushed over to DarkWisemon. As DarkWisemon concentrated on absorbing Zudomon's attack, Take-Mikazuchi hugged DarkWisemon and released electricity from its body, shocking it. Shadow TK felt DarkWisemon's pain.

"This is why I work alone. Get the muscle brain, dog. That fool wide open without a Persona," Shadow Ken told Shadow Koromaru.

"I won't let that happen," Joe responded.

"Cold Crusher," Zudomon shouted.

Cerberus prepared to spew flames from its mouth at Kanji. Zudomon summoned a wave of ice to freeze Shadow Koromaru as it focused on Kanji. With Shadow Koromaru frozen, Cerberus lost its connection with its host and disappeared.

"You have to be kidding me. What good is a dog if it can't do its job right," Shadow Ken scoffed.

"You can talk trash to me all you want, but if you make fun of the dog, you better prepare for the consequences," Kanji stated.

Shadow Ken jousted his spear at Kanji. Kanji moved out of the way and continued to charge after Shadow Ken. Kanji grabbed Shadow Ken by the collar and threw him in the air. Take-Mikazuchi turned its attention towards Kala-Nemi and rushed towards it, pinning Kala-Nemi against the invisible wall with its hands. As Shadow Ken fell towards Kala-Nemi, Take-Mikazuchi released another surge of electricity, causing Kala-Nemi to disappear as Shadow Ken felt the aftershock.

"All three of them are down," Joe said.

"Let's finish this up," Kanji roared.

Zudomon and Take-Mikazuchi sent multiple bolts of lightning all around Shadow TK, Shadow Ken, and Shadow Koromaru. Unable to overcome the incoming damage, all three melted into black goo while releasing gold particles into the air. Afterward, the red pillars cracked, and the invisible walls disappeared.

"That's what you get for messing with us," Kanji said.

Once Joe confirmed that their battle was over, he fell to the ground.

"Joe, are you okay," Mimi said, rushing over to him.

"My energy simply escaped me once my adrenaline calmed down," Joe answered.

Koromaru inspected the dark blobs and barked.

"Are those Shadows," Ken asked.

"You mean someone merged a bunch of Shadows to make them look and fight like our friends," Mimi questioned.

"That's messed up. I can't believe that's even possible. I'm used to having your Shadows turn into your Personas," Kanji replied.

"So that's how you acquired your power," Kan stated.

"That wasn't how it worked for you," Mimi asked.

"It was a little different, but that's a story for another day. In any case, thank you for defeating the fake me," Ken said to Joe and Kanji.

"Don't mention it," Kanji replied.

"Don't push yourself too hard. You were fighting that whole battle injured," Mimi told Kanji.

"I'm sorry. If I had faced my fake properly, this would have never happened. Is there any way I can thank you," Ken asked Kanji.

"Well, is it okay if I pet the dog," Kanji asked.

"I guess," Ken answered, confused.

Koromaru slowly walked over to Kanji, who immediately started petting him.

"It's a cute albino Shiba. Who's a brave dog with a powerful Persona," Kanji asked, petting him ecstatically.

"I was holding back this whole time. It's not fair that you get to have Koromaru all to yourself," Mimi replied.

Mimi also joined in on the petting, causing Koromaru grief.

"Hey, I think you've pet him long enough. Koromaru is not in the mood," Joe stated, sitting up.

"It was fun while it lasted," Mimi pouted, letting Koromaru go.

"Ken, you said you were a member of the Shadow Operatives. Have you seen the Midnight Channel," Joe asked.

"Mitsuru and the others were hanging in crosses. It was dark," Kanji added.

"Yes, my team and I were searching for her via helicopter when it broadcasted. If what my fake self said is true, we must hurry and rescue them immediately," Ken replied.

"How many additional members do you have," Mimi questioned.

"I came here with Yukari and Labrys. Junpei is another person who should be here, according to Yukari. Yukari, Labrys, and I landed in Junes when we noticed a fight happening on the rooftop. Naoto was injured, but she was protected by two boys: one with a laptop and one with goggles," Ken explained.

"Naoto was hurt," Kanji said, surprised.

"But Tai and Izzy were with her, so I'm sure she's okay," Mimi reassured.

"Who were they fighting," Joe asked.

"He referred to himself as Sho Minazuki. We're not sure what his relationship to this madness is. However, we are certain he struck our helicopter with his Persona. Labrys stayed behind to tend to Naoto and the other two while Yukari and I tried to pursue Minazuki. Unfortunately, he escaped, which led us to this moment," Ken replied.

"This Minazuki person is also a Persona user, yet he's using his Persona to harm others. Kanji, do you know who this person is," Mimi asked.

"It's the first time I've heard about it, but if he harmed Naoto, that's more than enough reason to pummel him to submission until he gives us answers," Kanji replied, clenching his fists.

"I wonder if he knows about the mysterious tower that suddenly appeared," Mimi said.

"Tower," Ken repeated, confused.

Mimi pointed at the tower for Ken and Koromaru. When they spotted it, Koromaru growled.

"What happened, little guy? Is that tower bothering you," Kanji asked Koromaru.

"Do you two know what that tower is," Joe asked Ken.

"No, but we have encountered something similar to it in the past. It brings bad memories," Ken replied, gloomy.

Koromaru rubbed on Ken's leg to cheer him up.

"Does it have anything to do with the Dark Hour," Mimi questioned.

"Where did you hear that term,' Ken asked, surprised.

"Izzy was the one who told us about it right before we separated," Mimi quickly responded.

"I've noticed some similarities between what's happening now and the events that occurred during the Dark Hour, such as the power outage, the appearance of Shadows, and the tower. If this is a result of what happened in the past, I'm sorry for involving you in this situation," Ken replied.

"Don't worry yourself over stuff like that. It's what friends do," Kanji said.

"Friends," Ken repeated, confused.

"Are you telling me we're not," Kanji asked, bewildered.

"Mitsuru helped Labrys and us when we were in need. From what you've said, you care about them deeply. Any friend of Labrys and Mitsuru as a friend to us," Mimi explained.

Koromaru happily barked.

"I'm sorry to pry, but would it be okay for you to tell us more about this Dark Hour? Any information would be helpful to save this town and its people," Joe said.

Ken explained as much as he could without giving away too much detail. In return, Kanji, Mimi, and Joe explained their stories to them and any information they knew thus far.

"That Ikutsuki person sounds like such a jerk! How dare he trick your team into doing his bidding? He's the worst," Mimi yelled.

"Your frustration is appreciated," Ken replied.

"You and the others must have had it rough these past few years. Thank you for opening up to us," Joe said.

"It's the least I can do after you three saved me," Ken clarified.

"Well, the easy answer would be to head straight to the tower, rescue Mitsuru and the others, and find who is responsible for messing with our town," Kanji declared.

Kanji tried to walk towards the tower but fell to one knee.

"Where exactly do you think you're going after that grueling battle," Joe questioned.

"If we don't get to that tower now, the whole world will end," Kanji noted.

"Yes, but you still need to recover your strength. If we head to the tower as we are now, we'll be in no condition to defend ourselves, let alone fight back," Joe explained.

"I hate just sitting around and doing nothing while everyone else probably has the same idea we have," Kanji replied.

"If I had been stronger, none of this would have happened," Ken said.

"Don't worry about it, and stop wallowing in self-pity. The past has passed," Kanji replied.

"What's stopping us from traveling there while resting," Mimi suggested.

"Kanji and Joe are too big for us to carry around. Even if we had something akin to a form of transportation, none of the vehicles around us are working," Ken stated.

"But we have something better than cars. Persona," Mimi shouted.

Mimi shattered the card before her, transforming to her new attire and summoning her dear friend.

"Palmon is here to help," Palmon replied.

"Palmon, it's great to see you," Mimi said, hugging Palmon.

"So, that is your Digimon," Ken observed.

"What is it exactly: a plant or a doll," Kanji asked.

"I'm just Palmon," Palmon answered.

"Palmon, do you think you can help carry us over to that mysterious tower over there," Mimi asked.

"Sure, Mimi, anything to help a friend in need. Palmon, High Priestess Arcana Digivolve to... Togemon," Palmon shouted.

"It's a giant cactus," Kanji said, surprised.

"Come on, everyone. Togemon will help us get to the tower faster, and Joe and Kanji can rest as Togemon gets us to our destination," Mimi explained.

"Is it really okay to ride on your Digimon like that," Ken asked.

"Maybe I should call out Ikkakumon," Joe said.

"Gomamon fought hard and deserved his rest just like you do. Besides, Gomamon's evolutions are too big and might accidentally crush things around it. Togemon is thin enough to walk down city streets, so everything should be okay," Mimi added.

"My body may look prickly, but I'm as sturdy as they come. Anyone who tries to bother you all will get a taste of my fists," Togemon answered.

"Come on over. The view is cool from Togemon's shoulders," Mimi said, extending a hand.

"Thank you for the offer," Ken replied.

Ken and Koromaru climbed on top of Togemon. Togemon grabbed Kanji and Joe and placed them on its shoulder.

"Our next stop is Tartarus. Let's get this party started," Mimi shouted, pointing at the tower.
