Love

California, the next day

Aaron's pov

I didn't know who sent me that message. I was scared. What if he knew I was Panzie? That was my biggest secret. I didn't have any other secrets. I tried everything to take my mind off that message, but nothing worked. I was just too stressed. I decided to answer the message.

'Who even are you? I don't have any secrets?'

I lied, so he would tell me the secret. I wanted to be aware. He saw the message, but he didn't answer. Weird. I wanted to believe it was just a dumb prank.

Bella's pov

Aaron wasn't in the mood. He seemed mad. I didn't know what to do. The good news are that Liliana promised to tell me who her crush is. I was curious. I was going to find out after school. I wanted to help Aaron, but he just didn't want to tell me what was wrong. I thought of inviting him to my house so we can do our homework and talk, but I had a meeting with the Master. She invited me to her home to explain everything about the miraculouses. I hoped she knew who was the bad guy, or at least some information about him. I thought about that meeting all day. When it was finally time to leave, I packed my things quickly and went to the meeting. Her house was pretty far. When I finally arrived, she greeted me.

"Hello. Glad you arrived. Take a seat and I will explain everything.''

Bearzy 2.0 got out of my bag and sat next to us.

"I believe you want to know who you are actually fighting. Obviously, not the villains.''

"Of course! I know someone is turning them evil with the evil butterflies.''

"Yes. His name is Moth and he wants you and Panzie's miraculouses.''

"I know. The villains always try to get our miraculouses.''

"Why does he want our miraculouses?'' I asked, in fear of the answer

"Because if you wear The Panda miraculous and The Bear miraculous at the same time you can make a wish. The wish will be granted, but only on one condition.''

"What condition?''

"You have to give something in return. If you wish for someone to come back to life, someone else you know will die. The universe is complicated, but even the tiniest wish can have big consequences.''

"This answered all my questions. Thank you for this! Now we will be a step ahead.''

"You can come here every time you want to know something.''

"See you soon. Goodbye.''

"Don't leave so soon. I want to give you this book. It contains The miraculouses and their powers. Even miraculouses from other boxes.''

"There are more boxes?!''

"Yes. But they have different guardians. This one is the most powerful.''

"Thank you so much! I will read this.''

"Goodbye Bella.''

"Goodbye.'' I said

I left. I wanted to read that book tonight if there weren't going to be any villains. I had a lot of free time, so I wanted to read it tonight.

After more than 3 hours

I finally finished all my chores and I read the book! All the powers were magic! I wanted to try some of them, but I knew I wasn't allowed. All of a sudden, my mum called me.

"Bella! Go to sleep! It's late.''

Ughh. I wanted to stay up and think about the miraculouses, but tomorrow I had to work on my designs. I was busy in the past weeks, so I kind of ignored all the unfinished designs and my clients. I fell asleep.

Aaron's pov

I reported the guy that texted me and blocked his number. I stopped thinking about that message, because nothing happened! For the one who pranked me, I hate you so much! I actually believed it for a second. I fell asleep thinking about that.

Bella's pov

I woke up very excited! I made a decision! I was going to confess to Aaron today! I was shocked when I found out I had a bunch of messages on my phone. Oh my gosh. They were from Liliana! I completely forgot about our meeting! She wanted to let me know who her crush was and I missed the chance. I started reading the messages.

'Hey.'

'I am waiting for you.'

After 10 minutes.

'Are you coming?'

Then I discovered I had 10 missed calls!

'Girl.'

'I am leaving. See you.'

I was so mad at myself. I let her wait for 45 minutes! I called her and she answered.

"Why didn't you come yesterday?''

"I am so sorry! I forgot about our meeting. We can meet today so I can tell you about my plans!''

"Sure. At California café?''

"Yeah.''

Then we said bye and hung up. I wanted to tell her I was going to confess to Aaron! I was going to invite him over to my house so we can do our homework together, but then I will tell him I like him! This was a good plan! I know he told me he likes someone, but maybe it was me. I hoped.

After 1 hour

I met Liliana at the café. She was somehow excited to tell me about her crush.

"Heyyy!'' said Liliana

"Hello.''

We ordered some coffee and sat. We started talking about random things. Then I asked.

"So are you ready to tell me who your crush is?''

"My crush is…''

She got ready and then…

"Panzie!''

I was in shock. Panzie? Panzie was nice, but annoying and he also likes to prank people. He didn't even apologise after he let me wait 30 minutes for him. He also didn't know how to fight. Maybe you think I am harsh, but that's the truth. I didn't know what to say. I was speechless.

"Oh..''

That was the only word I could say at that moment.

"Is something wrong?''

"He's a superhero. How do you have a crush on HIM?! Like a celebrity crush or something?''

I just acted like I didn't know where she got the crush from. It was from that time she helped me and Panzie fight the Money Maker. Then they kept in contact.

"No!''

*after she explained the whole story*

"I see. "

"What did you want to tell me?''

"I wanted to tell you I decided to confess today!''

"REALLY? I AM SO EXCITED!''

"Yesss. I will invite him over and I will tell him.''

"He is for sure in love with you!''

It seemed oblivious that he was in love with me, but actually he told me he likes someone. And that story about her waiting for him, and then he couldn't come because his dad didn't let him and he couldn't call her. That happened to me! I was sure it was me! After a long talk at the Café, Liliana had to go. She had to get home to help her mum tidy the house. We said bye and left. On the way home, I texted Aaron.

'Hey Aaron! Wanna come over to do some homework and play games?'

'Sure. When?'

I was so exciteeed!

'5?'

'Yeah. See you.'

He was dry, but at least he said yes! I cleaned my room. I was lucky because my mum went to a movie with her friend, Samantha. I was home alone! Like that Christmas movie, "Home alone''. Haha. Aaron finally arrived. I let him come in. This was the first time he came over. We started doing homework. I actually enjoyed the time we spent together. I had to tell him! The homework was almost done. I was freaking out! What if I didn't get to tell him?!

"Aaron.''

"Yes, Bella?''

He was so handsome. I usually thought about a thing before doing it, but this time I didn't do that! I did the craziest thing in my life. I wanted to tell him I liked him, but instead of that, I kissed him! What was going on in my head?! He was in shock. I could barely breathe. I was so stressed. It wasn't really a kiss. Everything happened fast.

Aaron's pov

When I came over to Bella's, I didn't expect this. I was looking at her .. I didn't know what to say. She liked me?! I waited for her to say something, but she didn't. We were both silent. Then she finally broke the silence.

"I am sorry. I didn't mean to. I invited you over to tell you how I feel. I ..''

Then she paused. She liked me! I was scared to tell her that I don't like her that way. I didn't want to ruin our friendship, but I had to tell her.

"Bella, I am sorry for breaking your heart.''

That was all I could think of. I didn't want to tell her all of a sudden.

Bella's pov

"Break my heart..? "

I actually knew what he meant. I was so sad. I started sobbing, but I stopped quickly. I didn't want to make him feel bad. I was heartbroken.

"It's ok. I hope we can still be friends.''

Everything was so awkward. I wanted to be alone. I wanted to believe this was all a dream, but it wasn't.

"We can.''

I was relieved. At least our friendship was saved!

"I will leave now.'' said Aaron

I was silent. He has just left. I went downstairs and took some ice cream from the fridge. I have just ate ice cream and thought about it. I couldn't get my mind off what happened.

No one's pov

Aaron made a huge mistake for blocking my number. I will leave him alone for a bit, but when I come back, he is going to pay.
