A broken relationship

California, Monday morning

Bella's pov

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

This is me, SCREAMING. I am so scared. I don't want to lose my friendship with Aaron! I confessed to him yesterday and it was awful. He didn't like me back! I screwed up. I had to fix everything and make sure he wasn't feeling bad about what happened! I rushed to school. I was already late, and the first class was Math! Noooo! It was the hardest day. When I finally arrived, I got lucky. My Maths teacher was late! I was confused because she was never late. I sat down and looked at Aaron. I didn't have time to tell Liliana what had happened. I was busy with my designs all Sunday. That's why she looked confused.. and Aaron was looking a little pale. I decided to act like nothing happened, to see how he reacted.

''Hey Aaron! Wyd?''

Aaron's pov

How could she act like nothing happened? I believed she was stressed about the whole thing with the confession. Maybe she thought I was mad? I decided to play her game.

''Hello Bella. I am doing well.''

Liliana's pov

I couldn't help but wonder why Aaron and Bella were acting so weird. They weren't talkative, like every morning. Usually, when they see each other, they are like:

''HEYYYY!''

''Hello! Omgg. This weekend was soooo long!'' (That's Bella every Monday)

''For real! I haven't seen you and Liliana for ages!''

''Could you help me with Math agaaaaain?''

''Haha. This homework was actually easy! Do it yourself!''

Aaron joked like that whenever Bella needed help with any kind of homework. That usually happened every Monday. But not this Monday. They seemed like they weren't happy to see each other. I stared at them like someone died and they didn't tell me.

''What is it, Liliana?''

''Nothing.'' I lied.

''Come with me, Bella.''

''I can't. Our Maths teacher will-''

I grabbed her hand and took her to the bathroom quick.

''What is happening between you and Aaron?'' I asked

''Long story short, I confessed, and guess what..''

''You are together! Yayayayayayy! I am so happy!'' I don't know why I overreacted like that. Right after I said that I thought about them not being happy about seeing each other. That, for sure wasn't because they were together! Silly me!

''Oh .. sorry''

''HE DOESN'T LIKE ME!''

''No! This can't be right! He is so in love with you!''

''I confessed and he likes someone else!''

I got silent. I did know how to read people's faces, but I didn't know how to comfort people. I always made them be more upset! Then I felt bad. But I had to try! She was my friend and I had to comfort her! This was serious.

''Everything will be alright. We have to get back to class. We will talk about this later.''

''…''

We got back to class. No one was there. Weird? Yes. Very weird.

''Why is the class empty?'' asked Bella, worriedly.

''Maybe a villain is on the loose.''

Then I realized Bella wasn't in the classroom anymore. Why did she leave me alone? I think the villain kidnapped her. I was alone in a scary classroom. I wanted to get out. I tried the door and it was locked. Who had locked it?!

''Help! Help! Someone help me!'''

No one heard my cries. I had to stay there until the villain was defeated. I wanted to have my powers right then. Sadly, Bearzy took the miraculous from me after the last mission. I sat under a bench. I hoped Bearzy or Panzie (I hoped for Panzie more) to come save me.

Bella's pov

''Maybe a villain is-''

Then I started seeing blurry and feeling dizzy. Someone kidnaped me! When I was normal again, I opened my eyes. I and Aaron were tied up together. Noooo! This wasn't a good time. I didn't want to talk about what happened. Luckily, no one could talk. That is so weird to say. I managed to untie my mouth so I could talk. What did this villain want? Then the villain entered the room.

''You were the only 2 left in this school. I have to find more kids!''

''No! What are you going to do to them?!''

''I want to be a mum! That's all. What's wrong with that? Huh?''

She wanted to be a mum? Why didn't she adopt a child.. I had to save the town! But I couldn't transform. Aaron couldn't and wouldn't find out about my double life.

Aaron's pov

I was tied up. I couldn't transform. I couldn't talk. But the worst thing was that I was tied up with Bella! I was so unlucky. I didn't want to make her uncomfortable. I knew she didn't want to talk about what happened. I still couldn't believe she liked me! I was so sad. I liked someone else. Why wasn't Bearzy coming to save us? I had to transform quickly! I untied my mouth, but I couldn't untie the rope. The villain left the room to find more kids. This villain is so weird. Anyway, because I didn't have anything to do, I started talking to Bella.

''Sooo..''

''Look. I know you don't like me. But promise me we can still be friends and that you won't feel bad or treat me differently.''

Bella's pov

I was scared of his answer. Suddenly, when I was waiting for an answer, he started laughing! How could he laugh in such serious moments! I couldn't believe him. I wanted to say something but..

''That was your fear? I will never do that! I really wanted for us to stay friends! ''

I was relieved. He was so sweet! Now we had 2 problems. Firstly, I didn't know how to answer to that, and secondly, WE WERE STILL TIED UP. I knew Aaron was trustworthy, and in that situation, I had to tell him my identity so I could transform! There wasn't any other way out.

''I have to tell you something.''

We said that at the same time.

''Let's say it together.''

''Alright.''

I was scareeeed.

''I'm-''

Then we got interrupted by Liliana.

''Omg guys! I finally found you! ''

''How didn't you get found?''

''I hid.''

''Oh.'' I said.

''I will untie you two.''

As she was untying us, she whispered.

''Did you talk things out?''

Then I said shortly.

''Yes.''

We escaped that scary room that I didn't even knew existed. We decided to go home. I lived close, I got home fast.

''Bearzy, power on!''

I transformed and went to search for the villain. I couldn't find Panzie. Weird. I found the villain.

''HAHAAH. THE MUM WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!''

All the kids were running around screaming. The Mum wasn't a good mum really. Lol. I tried anything to distract her, but nothing worked! Where are you when I need you, Panzie?! Panzie floated her up. Phew! He finally arrived.

''Need some help?'' said Panzie

''Yes, please!"

I used my Bearizman and I got a mirror. I didn't know what do with it. Panzie tried all he could to keep her away from me as I was thinking. I just pointed the mirror at her.

''What?! Why.. why am I like this?! This isn't me.''

''I am sure you will be a good mum if you adopt a child.''

''But no child wants me as his mum!''

''They do! The children you want to be a mum to already have their own mum.''

''Oh..''

I took the ring and broke it. It was her only accessory. Pretty obvious. Take this, Moth! I freed the butterfly.

''Partners….''

''Forever!'' said Panzie, excited.

''Miraculous Bearzy!''

Everything was normal again. Every kid was safe now. I had to get back to school! I didn't even attend the first class! I realized the evil villain was my Maths teacher because she apologised to the class for causing that disaster. The whole class hugged her. It was so cute! About the relationship with Aaron, I finally regained his friendship. We decided to pretend like nothing happened.

''I want all the miraculouses! Tell me where they are! NOW!''

''I-I don't know, master.. I am just a kwami! The kwamies don't know anything about the miraculous book or the box's location!''

''You're useless!''

Then, he started yelling at the poor kwami.
