"You kept them alive…"

Jazz cocked his head, but spoke out loud. "I've not heard you speak out loud in almost a year, Z…"

"There's little I needed to say, given the fact it was just you and that boy, Hercule, in that chamber for a year. Besides, you're a happily engaged man, it would be uncouth for a lady such as I to make quips in the background as you interact with your 'beloved'."

Jazz shook his head, "To address your first concern. I kept them alive because I have a theory, also they're much weaker than the Saiyans, so we can see if that ki-inhibiting technology is effective even against power levels this high. Also, the Freeza tech might be useful, and more than a few of his goons probably don't want to be doing what they do." He observed one of the aliens, arms completely burned to a crisp. "Also, to be fair, none of them will be in fighting shape anytime soon." Jazz reached his hand over towards one of the more conscious aliens, a blue-skinned fellow with bristly facial hair.

The alien screamed in fear as he felt his body being lifted against his will.

"You." He began, dragging the alien forward. "What's your name?" The alien struggled against Jazz's psychic hold, but against Jazz's level of power, it was like an ant attempting to shift a mountain. "I'll move on to someone more… pliable if you won't talk." He generated flames in the palm of his hand.

"N-no…" The alien stammered, fear palpable on his face, "I'll, I'll talk!"

"Good, name, rank in the Freeza force, and the mission you were put on."

"Captain Redelis… Platoon Leader of the 145th Platoon of the Freeza Force. Our mission was to accompany the Saiyans to this planet, supervise their recruitment of Kakarot, eliminate all the Saiyans if they proved troublesome, and subjugate the planet and siphon its energy. If we reached the planetary quota, we would capture any deemed worthwhile earthlings for indoctrination into the Freeza force and the graces of Lord Babidi, then we'd wipe out the rest, selling the planet to the highest bidder."

"Lord Babidi, how did you all come to receive him?"

The alien's eyes began wandering like crazy as he stammered. "Lord Freeza began calling troops back to Freeza planet 15, squadrons would return back at half their number, but the remaining soldiers would be between 2-8 times stronger, maybe even more for some elites! When my squadron was called, we were graced with Babidi, and he used a technique that brought about great power! You!" The alien's eyes turned desperate, "you should accept Lord Babidi's power! You'll! I! N-NO…L-LORD BABIDI!" His body began swelling up. Immediately, Jazz's hand, still covered in his flames, smashed into the alien's forehead, directly targeting the Majin symbol.

The alien screamed as Jazz began to burn at the symbol, but at the same time, Jazz could see the swelling begin to lower. At the same time, he saw the other aliens, as well as the Saiyan, all beginning to writhe in pain. The weaker aliens exploded in an instant, while the stronger ones, and the Saiyans, seemed to be struggling against whatever was going on.

"I'd recognize evil magic like this anywhere…" Z began, "It's like the Makai magic of Lucifer."

"Makai…" Jazz murmured.

"Yes, a cursed magic, reminiscent of my power, or of the blood rubies of Gurumes."

"If it's cursed magic…"

PaoPao watched in interest as the Saiyans, whom they had begun to corner, began to writhe in pain. She felt a massive influx of energy as Jazz approached, and turned to him with trepidation. He dragged along with him around 10 of the aliens who bore similar armor to the Saiyan but boasted much lower powers than most of them.

"Jazz, do you understand what's going on?" She began, "They began to scream Lord Babidi, then started screaming. Their energy is fluctuating and dropping to low levels, and their temples are pulsing."

"It feels like they're gonna blow up at any second," Krillin said. "I think we need to put them out of their misery."

Jazz tossed the 10 aliens, whom he had been able to slow the destruction of with his magic fire, towards PaoPao. "It's the work of their boss, an alien Wizard called Babidi, the marks are like curses, they give the aliens power, but force them to be subservient to Babidi. PaoPao, they give off the same energy as Blood Rubies."

PaoPao nodded as she reached towards the strongest of the aliens. Her skin became pale blue and her eyes began to glow a sickly yellow as purple tendrils of magic reached towards the aliens, who writhed in even greater pain. After a few seconds, the marks disappeared.

"Hey, their power's dropped like crazy," Hercule announced.

"I guess the Majin mark is what made them so strong." Chi-Chi offered. "Ooh, does that mean?" She turned to PaoPao, who shook her head.

"Unfortunately, while my magic reserves have improved, maybe even increased by a bit, my actual ki reserves and power did not increase." She turned towards the Saiyans.

"Even if draining the Majin mark removes the Saiyan's boosted power, like it did these others, the Saiyans would still be dangerously powerful, so strong I don't think my people's ki inhibiting items would be of any real use. Are you certain you want me to drain the marks, clearly the Saiyans will die if I leave them be."

"I say we kill them." Tien stated coldly, "They told us what they are, they're monsters."

"No, we have to be smart about this, there are probably tons more Saiyans that could come, we need to figure out what they can do and what their weaknesses are, we can at least spare one or two, in order to interrogate."

"I… should we kill them?" Chi-Chi began, looking at Goku with concern.

"It doesn't matter what happens." Goku smiled back at Chi-Chi, then at the others. "They may be my race, but they aren't my family, not like this. You guys are my family. Whatever you pick, I'll pick."

Bardock, despite the pain the Majin mark gave him, laughed. "How cold of you… s-son… but it doesn't matter, you may as well kill us all, Saiyans don't take favors, and we'll pay back this humiliation tenfold, as soon as we get the ch-chance…"

"Maybe we should save them, they'll probably go stir-crazy in jail." Launch was in her blond form, "It'd be nice to throw someone else behind bars for a change, besides, we kicked their asses, if they'll be weaker cause they lost the Majin thingamajig, then they'll be nothing to us. Besides, we gotta figure out who the hell is behind this, and if these fuckers have any information, we're gonna drag it out of them."

"Don't look at me." Hercule shook his head, "I don't make the decisions in this situation!"

The rest turned to look at Jazz. Who walked towards Bardock and Raditz. "Raditz mentioned Goku being as soft as his mother, what does that mean?"

Bardock's expression soured. "Fuck off…"

Jazz smiled, "You mentioned calling me a trespasser when you nearly killed me, I think that means you guys were told to look out for me, why?"

"Because your breath stinks!" Pumbukin retorted, despite the pain and volatile states of their bodies, which had swelled up slightly more, the Saiyans laughed derisively.

Jazz would have admired their tenacity, if not for the circumstances. "I know some fun things you Saiyans might know, and funny things you Saiyans don't."

"I don't know how strong Freeza is now, since he's obviously been tainted by Babidi's sorcery, but his powerlevel, at its very maximum, was originally one-hundred twenty million."

The Saiyans turned to each other, shock evident on their faces.

"Liar." Taro barked, "There's no way you'd know."

"But if I'm right?" Jazz interrupted, "After it was made clear, the Frieza you normally dealt with had a powerlevel of half a million just in his restful state, you've never seen him activate his other forms, have you?"

"What's your point?" Bardock muttered.

"My point is, you, you especially Bardock, know that Freeza originally planned to blow up the planet, don't you? That's why you saved Kakarot. After your experience on Planet Cereal, you had a feeling the planet's days were numbered."

Bardock flinched, "What the hell do you know?"

"Do you know why I was called the Trespasser?" Jazz asked, "Because I have a few theories, and part of that theory includes why I know Gine sobbed in your arms when Goku was launched off the planet. Where is Gine? There's no way she was Majinized. She is too soft, her evil tendencies wouldn't be nearly high enough for Babidi to manipulate. Is she dead?" Jazz didn't flinch when Bardock's fist smashed into his face. The Saiyan kept a straight face, even as he nursed his now broken hand. "I hit a nerve, okay, so she isn't dead. I understand then…" He smiled, "with the power you have now, you Saiyans, even if you're supposedly loyal to Babidi, may act extra judiciously. I'm certain there has been more than one example of that being done. So… there's collateral in place." Jazz continued his theory as he looked at the Saiyan's faces. "I assume, the children and non-fighting-oriented Saiyans are held somewhere, and that was part of the reason why you Saiyans were so willing to swear fealty to Babidi, and why Freeza decided he didn't need to yet worry about killing you all. Because, as seen by our good friend Redelis, you're kept on a short leash."

Bardock's face showed a twisting visage of emotions. "If you know all this, why are you even…" he paused, twisting in pain, "even entertaining speaking to us?" He alongside his companions, collapsed, the swelling reaching a critical point.

Jazz turned to PaoPao. "Save them."

Without hesitation, PaoPao absorbed the cursed magic within the Majin marks. "Done."

Jazz noted in interest that the Saiyans' powers, unlike that of the other alien species, did not drop. "I guess that's on brand for the warrior race…" He looked at Bardock, who stared at him in irritation. "I'm entertaining speaking to you because it would be stupid not to gather as much information as possible, I want to make sure there's as little loose ends as possible when we decapitate Freeza." He turned to his friends. "I know you're tired, but go, there are probably still Saibamen at large."

"You want us to leave you with the Saiyans?" Tien asked, "Are you sure that's wise?"

"I'm stronger than any of them alone, and currently, all of them together." Jazz smiled. "And they understand that."

Raditz, who had been using the talks to slowly crawl to the side, all of a sudden got up and attempted to fly away. Before the Saiyan could get even 100 feet away he was slammed into the ground by a mix of Jazz's ki and psychic energy.

"Oh." Jazz said, frowning, "I guess some of them don't." He turned to the others, "but like I said, I have this handled."

He approached each Saiyan and waved his hand. The Saiyan's eyes widened as their Saiyan armor disappeared, replaced with stiff clothing reminiscent of straight jackets.

"What… what the hell is this?!" Leek cried out angrily.

"This?" Jazz smiled, "This is some of the heaviest, stiffest, toughest stuff in the universe, it's called katchin, and I've used it to bind you down. "Don't try anything funny, or I'll-" He was cut off as one of the Saiyans attempted to utilize their ki, the generated energy leaped from their fingertips, and bounced within their clothing, which expanded then contracted as they took the full brunt of their attack, nearly killing themselves. "I'll make you sorry…" Jazz rolled his eyes, using his healing to repair the Saiyan, who he recognized as Totapo. "Funny, you don't receive a zenkai from self-inflicted wounds." He looked at the other Saiyans. "Any other takers? No? Good." For added measure, Jazz muzzled and blinded the Saiyans, preventing them from utilizing eye beams or mouth beams.

He took a seat and began to relax, letting the talisman power drop before its time limit. "Hoo…"

"Your power is not nearly as fearsome anymore." A voice called out.

Jazz turned and looked at Piccolo quizzically. "A powerlevel of 40 million is still plenty terrifying for the likes of them, and it's not like I can't leap up in power again if I need to."

"You hid your power." Piccolo frowned, "why? Why would you hide your power?" His irritation began to grow."

"And what would have happened if I revealed my full power?" Jazz asked, "If I went all out today, I would not have been able to stop the Freeza force members and our planet would be gone." He closed his eyes. "If you're upset I supposedly had been going easy on you for the past year of training, that's not true at all." He threw down a capsule, revealing an ice box. Opening it, he took out a couple of canteens and tossed one Piccolo's way. "Here, it's water."

Piccolo stared at Jazz, who was looking intently at the Saiyans, who at this point were gathered in a circle unable to speak or move, nursing their wounded bodies and even more wounded pride.

"I'm aware of your fusion technique," Piccolo announced quietly. "And I know Tien is the only other one capable of utilizing this technique, but it has a glaring weakness. It only lasts 30 minutes, shorter, the more power you exert in relation to the normal body's durability. Tien can fuse twice, but that power only lasts 5 minutes the second time around. I was certain you had the same weakness."

"Is that why you waited exactly 5 minutes before revealing yourself?" Jazz smiled sardonically, causing Piccolo to narrow his eyes.

"What trick did you pull?" He asked, "That you are completely fine. And seem to be lasting the full half hour?"

"Secret."

"Of course it is."

"Glad you're so understanding."

"Once both fusions end you'll be weaker than me."

"Not by enough where I need to worry too badly, as I'll be able to quickly activate the talisman and survive whatever the hell you throw at me before you can put me down. And even if you could run away, I can simply turn off the Talisman power and wait for you to come back or slip up, then I'd find you. But, you aren't my enemy, not really."

"Then who is your enemy?" Piccolo intoned.

Jazz answered by turning on one of the scouters.

"Redlis! Report! Report! Why did you turn off your scouter? Lord Freeza is furious! Did you at least eliminate the Saiyans?"~

"Redelis is currently unavailable, I can pass on a message."

~"Who the hell are you?! Name and rank!"~

"I'm not a member of your Freeza force, rather, you seem to be calling me something else." Jazz began, "Apparently, I'm called the Trespasser."

He heard the alien on the other in take in their breath sharply, "Alert Lord Freeza! It's the Trespasser!"

A smooth, sonorous, and deep male voice came on the other side. "Ah… you're the troublesome Trespasser Master Babidi warned us about, Lord Freeza and he will be pleased to learn we finally know of your whereabouts, and of your power."

"And who do I have the pleasure of making the acquaintance of?"

"How polite, you may know me as Zarbon, one of Frieza's elite warriors. But I am quite interested, how were you able to put down both Redelis as well as the supposed Land-Sharks of Bardock's? You'd need a power level of at least 2 million if you hoped to take down their Oozaru, and the soldiers were screaming silly about a power level of 200 million before being cut off. Master Babidi was so cross the plan seemed to be failing that he began to destroy their bodies, what did you do to prevent Redelis's vitals from expiring?"

"Aren't you worried Babidi will be observing you?" Jazz responded, "What if my answer pisses him off and he kills you?"

"He can try, but unfortunately for him, only the weak are subject to that punishment, and besides, Freeza's empire is vast, and Babidi's search for life energy is wide sweeping. Even if I'm Freeza's top aide, he can't always keep an eye on me."

"How nice to know." Jazz replied cheerily. "Well, in the spirit of sharing, I and one of my compatriots have some unique skills of our own, such as the means to dampen Babidi's control, but it took a lot out of us. And as for the 200 million, don't be absurd. Who has that sort of power? No, it was thousands of our Earth Battalion, putting together all of our power to lay siege against your warriors, and Saiyans are very vulnerable once their tails are cut off."

Piccolo raised his brow at Jazz's lies, impressed at how his voice didn't shift, nor that his heartbeat shifted.

"Thousands? Come now, don't fib, countless planets were scoured for powers worth harvesting, and you're here somehow trying to convince me that Earth hosts several thousand humans with power levels that compare to our troop's strengths?"

"7.2 billion." Jazz replied smoothly.

"7.2 billion…" Zarbon repeated.

"Like you say, you've searched thousands, maybe even more planets, but, like I said, I'm the trespasser, I had time to prepare for your arrival. And your squadron, as powerful as it was, could not hold on against our might. Even after our heavy casualties." Jazz seemed to choke out a sob, "Even after our heavy casualties, we'll give whoever comes to a fight they can't handle."

"Hmm…" Zarbon was silent for minutes. Long enough for Jazz's friends to return, only to watch Jazz staring intently at the communicator.

"I assume you specifically must be quite strong, Trespasser, Lord Babidi warned us of your prowess, I suppose it would make sense someone like you could prepare a planet to face a small portion of Lord Freeza's military might. But I warn you, what you faced is barely a fraction of the true capabilities of the Freeza Force."

Jazz was silent as he heard Zarbon's laughter.

"Your planet suffered heavy casualties, against an army of what… 8 Saiyans and 58 Freeza force soldiers? As well as the couple hundred Saibamen, but what of them? Their power levels are negligible, sitting at only around 1500. I, Freeza's top aide, exist with a powerlevel of 300,000. I'm not even Freeza's strongest soldier, your planet is as good as dead. Unless…"

"Unless?" Jazz began, quietly.

"Like I said, once you have enough power, Lord Babidi's magic can make you strong, but outside of his orders, you have autonomy. Lord Babidi may be… unique, and the man at his side seemingly unfathomable, but Lord Freeza's power increased exponentially, such that even Babidi was unaware of what he had done, Freeza tolerates Lord Babidi's presence because his power allows our troops to squash almost all resistance from the Galactic Patrol. Why not join us? Alongside your elites."

"Join you? Didn't Babidi want you to destroy me?" Jazz replied. "Why would you want to recruit me?"

"Clearly, you have something Babidi doesn't, you know how to suppress Lord Babidi's control. We may despise Babidi, but we have no choice but to be loyal. But imagine, the power Babidi provided, but we also have our freedom. And with whatever tricks you have at your sleeves, you'd likely be more useful to Lord Freeza than anything Babidi could do."

"I can tell you don't like Babidi." Jazz replied.

"Lord Freeza was quite cross when he received the order not to destroy Planet Vegeta, and to instead allow Babidi to control the inhabitants. They still work for the Freeza force, but those stupid monkeys are much more Loyal to Babidi than they are to Freeza, in the face, Babidi even encourages it, he does not punish saiyans who turn on Freeza Force members, or vice versa."

"Must be tough." Jazz said, noting with interest the muffled shouts coming from the gagged and bound saiyans.

"What was that?"

"Oh?" Jazz replied, "Well, I'd captured the Saiyans and-"

"You captured them?" Zarbon sounded excited. "Bardock was considered low class, but his squadron was one of Planet Vegeta's finest attack dogs. As an Oozaru he boasted a powerlevel of 1.5 million, and you captured him and his men?"

"And if I did?"

"Well, that would make Freeza wish to recruit you all the more, it also means I get to bring the exciting news to King Vegeta."

"News?" Jazz asked.

"Bardock, even after being turned, fought against Babidi's will, there were only 9 beings who we've recorded being so willful they could even turn a blade against Babidi, but unfortunately for him, he had into an issue."

Jazz looked at Bardock, and could hear the latter's heart beating fast and power spiking against his restraints.

"Bardock has a mate, by which he spawned two Saiyans. He's an oddity, Saiyans hardly ever mate for life but he's stayed with her for years now, she was one of the few Saiyans who simply could not earn Babidi's blessing, and would have been fed to his energy siphons, if not for Bardock's initial outburst. So an agreement was made, Bardock was forced to swear fealty, and the King would keep Gine alive, but imprisoned. If Bardock tried to rescue her, a special collar would activate, killing her." Zarbon's chuckle caused Bardock's energy to ignite from within the katchin metal cage, yet despite his body beginning to bleed from the force of his attempt to squeeze out of his bonds, the metal did not so much as budge even a centimeter.

"So, because he had failed, Gine no longer serves as a suitable tether, and you'll have her dead? Seems like a waste."

"Waste? Why?"

Jazz turned to the others, put a finger to his lips, and mouthed a few words, 'Please, trust me'. "Well, I mean, it's a shame, Bardock was quite strong, it would incentivize me greatly to lay eyes on the woman whom this man seemed so ferociously hell-bent on fighting for. She must be quite the beauty."

The others stared at Jazz in horror and disgust. Jazz ignored their gazes as he turned to the communicator, having to keep it at arm's length for how loud Zarbon was laughing.

"What a funny man you are, Trespasser, fine then, I'll pass on orders that Gine is not to be harmed until you are through with her."

"Make sure no one touches her, past giving her food and drink of course, or keeping her alive." Jazz added, "If you really want to recruit me, these are one of my conditions."

"Yes, it seems in character, I heard of your voracious appetite for women before, Trespasser, you have my word that Gine will be as fresh as a ripened glorborov fruit."

"Good."

"So," Zarbon began, "When should we expect you? Originally, this talk, if it were supposed to happen, would have occurred in 5 years, 23 years is the standard timeline for a low-class Saiyan to be visited by his brethren if he has failed to report a planet's destruction. Bardock's second son, Kakarot, should have been here. I take it, given the fact you are alive, that he's dead."

Jazz looked in Goku's eyes, a smile on his face as he said. "Yes, Kakarot is dead, I killed the baby, just as he landed." He looked at his friends, mouthing 'I am lying, please trust me.' As he continued, "Well, if 5 years was the time, why not wait 5 years? Better yet, we could wipe out two birds with one stone."

"Oh?" Zarbon asked.

"Freeza's ultimate goal is Babidi's death, in a way that won't cripple his organization from infighting. Freeza also wants to wipe out the Saiyans once it's all said and done. Allow me to bolster my troop's numbers. Once their numbers are high enough, not only I, but an entire army, will come down on two fronts, one, taking down Babidi, and one, taking down the Saiyans. All Lord Freeza would have to do is slowly shift his forces away from either of those haunts. If it was done suddenly, they might suspect something, but over 5 years?"

"I'll pose your request to Lord Freeza, keep this line open and ready for an answer."

Jazz nodded, splitting his body in two. The copy of Jazz, who held the communicator, smiled, "I'll separate myself from my men, and I'll remain ready to hear Freeza's orders. At least for tonight."

"Good." An audible click was heard as the communicator cut off. The clone of Jazz nodded before flying off quietly.

Jazz turned to see his friends. Smiling sheepishly, Jazz utilized the Namekian creation magic to create those powerful restraining weights once more, and immediately his friends could feel his power drop, then drop once more as his fusions ended. The image of absolute power was replaced with a tired-looking young man with a wild mane of red hair.

"Well, hopefully, things will go well." Jazz began.

"What the hell was that, who the hell was that?!" Tien began, angry. "Why were you so chummy with him?"

"His name is Zarbon, I don't know his race's name, but he's an alien species that appear to be relatively beautiful looking by human standards, but transform into a frog/lizard-like humanoid form that grants them a great boon of power. In the original, he dies to a guy we haven't seen yet named Vegeta. And I'm chummy with him because his boss is someone who is originally twice as strong as your maximum output after fusing twice, Tien, and that's before whatever hypothetical power he now has being emblazoned with the big fat M on his forehead I suspect him to have. So I decided to try and buy us time to actually train until we can take that bastard out, because otherwise an army a thousand strong, each with people capable of blowing up the Earth, would have arrived outside our airspace and blasted us from every direction imaginable, wiping us from the universe." Jazz's voice was calm as he answered Tien's questions. "Do those answers satisfy you?"

"About that mate of Bardock's, Gine…" Chi Chi began, her face twisted in distaste.

Jazz raised a finger, "perhaps I should explain something to you all. The magic in those brands, which we'll call Majin Markings, brings out latent power within a being, who we'll call 'Majinized', plus an additional bonus. From what I can tell, this power is based on how much evil still lingers in a being's heart, and how strong will they are as the transformation occurs. Because, by the grand expanse of the universe's care and reckoning, the power all of us, even I, boast now will quickly be considered as fodder." Saiyans are a violent, pretty evil raise due to a bit of nature but mostly nurture, that mixed with high levels of pride and aggression gives me the impression that they are Babidi's magnum opus to majinize, because, if I'm right and he Majinized Freeza, he really fucked up."

"That doesn't answer my question, Jazz." Chi Chi queried.

"It's because, by somehow not being targetable by this entity, Babidi, this means Gine, despite being a Saiyan, is not only good-hearted but has little if any evil within her heart whatsoever," PaoPao spoke up. Her statement caused the others to gasp at the implication.

"It's very likely that Gine was not the only one." Jazz continued, watching the shift in Goku's expression as he contemplated their words. "The only saiyan, the only good-alien race if any captured by Freeza's men for exploitation and planet trade, as well as Babidi's goals."

"Which are?" Tien began.

"I'll explain later, it's hard to explain without explaining everything first, but, just know that we are not anywhere near ready to take on Freeza if my estimations are correct." Jazz sighed, "So I needed to buy time, and I also wanted to save an innocent woman. Zarbon, as well as the majority of Freeza's men, are ruled by ambition, desperation, and fear, if he thinks I have a weakness in lust, he'll think he can control me."

"So you have no plans on-" Chi-Chi was about to continue when Jazz shot her the most pitiful look she'd ever seen.

"Please don't…" He began, "Please don't imply my personality has somehow shifted so wildly that you'd think I'd go after a married woman, who also is a slave to a tyrannical despot, not even mentioning how happily committed I am to my own fiance. I simply said what I could to trick him into keeping Gine alive, because threatening him or otherwise signaling that I am, 'finger quotes', a good person would complicate communication between us, and he'd instead direct Gine and the other possible prisoners in a way that makes their eventual rescue, if possible, a complicated part of taking out Freeza."

"You keep saying Freeza's dangerous, but how strong would he be?" Krillin asked.

"In the original timeline, he and Babidi should have never met, at max, Freeza has a powerlevel of 120 million, which he used to fight Goku. To put it in perspective, the power you felt from me was 213 million, this is after fusing twice. I had to multiply the best I could do by 100 in order to be a little less than twice as strong as Freeza was, who was this strong without techniques, or real transformations."

"Real transformations?"

"Freeza has transformations, but unlike new levels of power, they are restraints he placed on himself. They were a threshold of about 530,000, 1 million 60 thousand, 2 million 120 thousand, and finally, 60 million, before his full power of 120 million for short stints of time. Bardock, by my reckoning, when he died originally had a powerlevel of 10,000. Babidi's magic made his power jump to 150,000. The other aliens have powers that jumped between 2-8 times, with some outliers also receiving boosts of up to 10 or more times."

"So this Freeza is 5 times stronger than you at the worst?" Krillin gulped.

Jazz laughed, "I wish." He smiled, "This is why I was so worried." He looked at his friends. "Goku, in order to defeat Freeza, gets a powerlevel of 150 million. In one year's time, Freeza, who apparently survived, comes back slightly stronger, only to be killed by someone else, who was stronger than Goku was who killed Freeza, only for Goku to come back and be stronger than this person. Goku, and the rest of you, train for 3 years, only to still be weaker than the threat the stranger who saved you from Freeza warned you about. That threat is somehow weaker than another threat, who then transforms, gaining power not once, but twice. That being then likely more than doubles in power one more time, and only then is that being considered around the power of Dabura, Babidi's right-hand man."

Hercule gulped at Jazz's analogy.

Jazz, who was no longer smiling, continued. "Goku and Vegeta surpassed someone who had killed that being, then Vegeta allowed himself to be Majinized, just to be Goku's equal. Goku, fighting against Babidi's end-goal creature, reveals that he is actually four times stronger than the form he used to face Vegeta, who was stronger than the one who defeated the monster already leagues above Freeza's normal level. As things continue, eventually, a monster so powerful that Goku and Vegeta need to fuse to fight it. The form they take is roughly at least 40,000 times stronger than either of them individually. They are considered at this moment to be the strongest beings in the universe."

He raised a finger. "Like, maybe a year or two later, a being wakes up, so powerful that it could wipe away Goku and Vegeta's fusion with ease. Goku attains a transformation so powerful he surpasses the power of the fusion by a level he himself says he could never attain. And in another few months, he gains power to a level that can be considered maybe 50 times that amount. But during that same time, Freeza is revived."

"Oh, then he must have been taken care of easily." Krillin quipped.

"In four months, Freeza trains to be slightly stronger than Goku. Who is, need I remind you, likely way stronger by the millions the powerlevel of 150 million he used to beat Freeza before."

This statement catches everyone's attention.

"Freeza then dies again and becomes stronger in the afterlife. Then, after being revived, trains to be so strong, that before I died, he was considered the strongest mortal being in the universe once again, this is after both Goku and Vegeta achieved powers that dwarf the power Goku used to face Freeza the second time around."

"The same power that is somewhere in the millions of times, at the least, greater than 150 million?" Chiaotzue asked. "Do numbers even go that high?"

"Freeza's do." Jazz said. "If Babidi was able to pull even a fraction of Freeza's latent potential, we are legitimately so fucked that even 5 years isn't really enough."

"Then why did you say 5 years?" Jazz asked.

"Because it gives us time to plan. Individually, we can't surpass Freeza's ultimate power, if he is at that level, but at our pace, we should be stronger than most of his men. Freeza luckily has a vice that we can use. Plus… Freeza shouldn't actually be at that level."

"Then what's all that worrying for?" Launch demanded.

"I think Freeza's definitely stronger than Dabura. But he's still, like I said, a lazy piece of shit, he's never had a reason to train, and since the Majin Marking exemplifies the evil and vice within a person, he'll likely be even lazier. Because with the power he has, why didn't he just come here, if Babidi wants me dead so bad."

"About that, Babidi's after you, why? What is the Trespasser?"

"I don't really know, I believe it has to do with the fact I'm a world hopper, that I don't belong in this realm. But I don't think they meant me specifically. But that's where these guys come in." He turned to the bound saiyans. "You've been listening the entire time Bardock, haven't you?" He smiled as Bardock flinched within his bonds. Using his magic, he caused the eye blocks and mouth gag to disappear. Bardock's face shocked him.

The man's eyes were bloodshot and some of his teeth were broken, it looked like he had attempted to break out with all his force. Jazz healed the Saiyan, who looked at Jazz wearily.

"Are… are you telling the truth? Can you truly divine the future?" Bardock asked.

"It's not the future anymore, I'm afraid." Jazz offered, "It's what would have happened if I, and I guess, the other real Trespassers weren't here."

Bardock closed his eyes, gritting his teeth as he said. "You really plan to kill Freeza and that Babidi bastard? And you have no plans with my mate?"

"You're like in your 50s, if not around there, man, so should your wife be, why would I go after a woman old enough to be my mom, especially one who's already spoken for? Am I some sort of psychopath?"

"Yes." Jazz's friends responded in unison.

"That actually hurts a bit." Jazz faked a tear. Chuckling, he turned to Bardock. "Well, there you have it. As for you guys, it's gonna be a tougher story. You aren't necessarily enemies anymore at the moment, but we can't trust you to just run around free. You'll hate it a lot but we've got to-" Jazz powered up, blocking Bardock's mouth beam. "Accept being our prisoners while we get everything fixed up. You may love your wife Bardock, but you and your crew's actions have killed hundreds, if not thousands of men, women, and children, who were the husbands, wives, fathers, and mothers of other victims. Not to mention the countless planets your people have genocided." Jazz cleared his throat. "That's not a crime that can just go unpunished, but I also lack the legitimate jurisdiction to just kill a prisoner of war." Jazz's body morphed as he activated his transformation. He looked about the same except for slightly purplish skin and syringe-like claws that extended from his right index and ring finger, which he quickly jabbed into Bardock, whose eyes rolled over immediately. "Going to need all of you Saiyans to go to sleep."

He turned to the Freeza soldiers, who had remained patiently by the campfire in dogeza poses. "Man, why can't I get agreeable fellows like that on my entourage?

After Afterword:

First things first, the most important thing of note. Redelis. That is a fruit pun, after the apple variant known as Red Delicious. And that's it, nothing more important to say.

Just kidding.

Just when things were going to take a lull, things are heating up. Freeza poses a real existential threat, one that may tear the universe apart depending on how strong Babidi accidentally made him. Despite his will and power, Freeza at the time likely lacks the pride and desire to put in effort required for him to actually break free from Babidi enough to raise a hand against the magician. Even if he could, Dabura could perhaps distract Freeza long enough for Babidi to get away, the stone spit technique is legitimately from my opinion kinda impossible to counter as far as hax go without using a tool or shedding your clothing immediately or killing Dabura.
