"I tire of this, Father, why must we continue to live this charade!" Raditz barked, veins popping from irritation. For a year now, he and the rest of his Saiyan brethren had been sequestered in a special holding facility on Earth. From what he knew, it belonged to the human woman with magical abilities that drained away Babidi's blessing, a dishonor Raditz could barely tolerate. If that was not the worst of it, he was forced to contend with having his ki suppressed by a special cocktail that was released in the air at regular intervals and placed in his food. He had attempted to starve himself in protest, hoping that the drug flushed itself out of his system before he died, but after several days of no water and his vitals becoming critical, he had awoken to find himself connected to an IV drip, which had revitalized his body but drugged him once again.

"At least the food's good." Pumbukin, a fellow prisoner, was currently gorging himself on a veritable feast. The red-haired human every day would use his strange magic to provide food enough to sustain all the Saiyans when questioned on why he would do that instead of training, he would complicatedly explain something about "this is training," or "Oh, I'm not Jazz, I'm Jazz 'G'," or some other cryptic explanation, the Saiyans had surmised he used a duplication technique they had observed the three-eyed earthling use before using a strange dance and powering up. "Besides, as far as Freeza and the other Saiyans are concerned, we're dead, so it's not like complaining's going to do anything."

"You were the most militant about escape!" Raditz shouted, "And now you're giving up?!"

Pumbukin growled, "Just cause our powerlevel has been suppressed doesn't mean I can't kick your ass." The Saiyans, even having their ki suppressed, were superhuman, capable of lifting a few tons and withstanding small arms fire with minimal injury, because of that, they had attempted several breakout attempts but were stopped by the Elite Warriors of the organization. These men and women were, at least to the Saiyans, weak, but in their current states, the warrior race had no means to defeat their coordinated tactics, not to mention their annoying support troops who used strange magic similar to but different from Babadi's gift, which empowered the warriors beyond the Saiyan's forced suppressive states.

"You're idiots," Selypa announced suddenly, she was covered in sweat, exertion caused by her doing one of the only things in this facility that caused her any form of entertainment, training. Currently, she, Toma, Leek, and Totapo had taken to spar with each other to keep their instincts sharp. While their physical abilities took a slight upturn, attempts to bully or harass the guards often still met with failure, as despite the Saiyan's militaristic discipline and prodigal fighting prowess, the Tsukimi organization's warriors seemed to take their defiance as a training opportunity, with warriors who were caught off guard and seemingly crippled coming back the next day good as new. Selypa knew that any normal human caught in her grasp would die instantly, but these warriors caught her interest, not that she would reveal to the others this interest. Unbeknownst to her, her opinions were shared by the rest of the Saiyans, whilst they all maintained the bravado at some level that they found their captors cowardly for suppressing their power, they were still impressed that there was a race out there that could pose such a complex challenge like this. It was infuriatingly much like the Tuffle race, that they in their youth remember King Vegeta leading their people to exterminate. Weak naturally, but capable of utilizing strange gifts and technology to keep up with the Saiyans. The only difference now was that they could not utilize the light of the moon to overtake the humans.

During the fight with those warriors accompanying Kakarot, the latter revealed to his companions that he noticed the Saiyans transformed into Oozaru without finding the Earth's moon. The human, Jazz, also added that he had not noticed any Saiyans activating the Powerball, his casual knowledge of Saiyan techniques shocking them. This led to scans being done, and it was discovered that the Saiyans had small devices implanted by their eyes to directly send energy similar to blutz waves into their brains, allowing them to trigger the Oozaru transformation without the moon. This was an idea coined by Raditz, who had thought of it in secret to shore up the weaknesses inherent to Saiyans. Despite coming up with the idea, King Vegeta claimed credit, though Raditz cared little for the accolades the title of inventor of such a thing would have afforded him. To him, at the time, being a more useful servant to Babidi was the most important thing. Now that he was free of Babidi's influence, he felt great shape having felt such loyalty for such a disgusting and strange creature, and that shame caused him to lash out at his wardens and at his fellow prisoners.

"At least we're better than those bootlickers from the Freeza force!" Raditz retorted. The former fighters from the Freeza Force were treated like night and day, perhaps due to not necessarily having a predilection to violence and combat like the Saiyans, the former Freeza Force members had behaved themselves and supplied all of their knowledge with no real need for prodding or forceful coercion. Many of them were children or young adults when Freeza conquered the planet, and many had memories of losing everyone they knew and loved to the Tyrant, so without him breathing down their necks, they had the ability to express themselves in ways other than fear and aggression. Perhaps also, due to Babidi no longer influencing them, they gained an epiphany about their actions that disgusted them. Raditz was not one for such sophistry, so he did not want to dwell into why they had become placid dogs for the humans, who to his disgust reciprocated their eager behavior with favors, such as furnishings in their cells, the ability to leave the facility for extended periods, and even keepsakes they had in their attack pods to remind them of their home planet. For the past 6 months, the Freeza force members even no longer had their power levels suppressed, and participated in regular training with the Tsukimi force members, who had benefited from their technology, such as the power amplifiers, the arm cannons used by fodder soldiers to concentrate bio-energy into energy blasts that the Saiyans were so naturally able to produce. Despite the bad blood between both groups, the Freeza Force members refrained from interacting with the Saiyans, whether good or bad, content to keep to themselves.

"It's not hard to be better than those weaklings." Pumbukin scoffed, "Besides, we've also revealed what we know about Freeza, didn't we?"

"T-that's different!" Raditz shouted.

"It isn't." The Saiyans all turned to look at their leader. Bardock had not once participated in an attempted breakout, but at the same time, he was the most difficult prisoner for the humans to deal with. He barely responded to their interrogations, paid little attention to anyone around him, and except for a few short conversations with his fellow Saiyans, the leader of the Freeza Force prisoners, Kakarot, and the red-haired human, he was quiet. He was the one who had begun suggesting they train, and while the others spared with each other, he quietly stuck to calisthenics at an extreme. Bardock had made a single request to Jazz once, that the human make for him weighted clothing like he had provided for human companions and Kakarot. After some deliberation, Jazz had allowed this and had given it to Bardock as a gift, he had even, as an afterthought, offered it to every prisoner. The majority of Freeza Force prisoners refused to touch their weights, but the Saiyans, even Raditz, had deigned to have at least a few of the strange weights on.

"Father?" Raditz asked, questioningly.

"Us providing intel on how Saiyans organize themselves, and on how the Freeza force operates, is no different from those former members of the Freeza Force. It doesn't matter what their attitude is, or that they're seemingly happy to be caged animals, propped and preened and fed the most delicious of pet food. We are no different because we can't escape." Bardock had finished his thousandth set of a hundred push-ups and got up to recover. Despite the evident exhaustion in his tone, he had a strong glint in his eyes. "Right now, our duty, to ourselves, is to survive and get stronger."

"Pft, by exerting our bodies through silly exercise?" Raditz snorted.

"This 'silly exercise' is what Kakarot relied on," Bardock said.

"It's always about Kakarot, isn't it?" Raditz growled, "Ever since we mentioned coming this stupid rock, you only thought about him. That's all Mother cried on about too. Kakarot this, Kakarot that, the brat has completely turned away from his heritage, yet you still care?!"

Bardock looked at Raditz sternly, "Is our heritage really so great?"

"Wh-what?! How could you say that?!" Leek shouted.

"You're just kidding, right Bardock?" Pumbukin shouted, "You don't mean that, right?"

Bardock shook his head. "If you don't understand, there's little use explaining. But I'll try, just a little." He looked at the Saiyans, "Kakarot was born both low-class and exceptionally weak. What would his fate have been had I not intervened?"

"He would have been launched to a hostile world, where he would have likely died." Selypa announced, "As is the fate of any weak Saiyan, Raditz, I, the rest of them, even you went through that Bardock, it was only by surviving our first extermination mission as children that we were considered full-fledged Saiyans, even if still only ever considered low class."

"We're considered low class, yet we're also acknowledged as Planet Vegeta's third-best fighting squad." Bardock said, "The results from our years of dedication and the strength we've built up means nothing to the status we were born into. Because regardless of our prowess, how we were born dictates how we should be treated right?"

Selypa was silent, she would normally at this point shout that the weak stay weak, but given her experiences over the years, she was unsure of herself.

Bardock continued, "I sent Goku to this planet to survive, I expected to find a son with a powerlevel barely in the hundreds, I would have been surprised, if not a touch impressed if he barely passed the thousands, but in the 18 years since he finished gestating in his birth pod, he not only survived, but thrived. He is beyond stronger than even the King, the purported best of the best, and has even learned the power to both control the Oozaru form, and utilize its power without growing in size. He knows nothing of our heritage, little of our ways, and can barely remember his mother's face, he's soft, kind-hearted, and compassionate, all traits a Saiyan should spit on, or I suppose, all traits we're taught and raised to believe a Saiyan should spit on."

"What are you on about?"

"What I'm on about is that, despite supposedly being softened by this planet, he's strong, stronger than we are. And the supposedly soft humans who made him this way are stronger than we are."

"Jazz is an outlier, no other human has a powerlevel even close to that high. Only the three-eyed Earthling has comparable power, and his power is but a fraction."

"Yet, even as a fraction, he surpasses anything we can imagine, this planet has produced warriors capable of competing against us, children, born with power levels lower than even Kakarot's, who after 2 decades of dedication, the most talented surpass the threshold of low-class Saiyan warrior, think, if these humans had been like that, imagine how Saiyans would have been if we had even a bit of this mentality. If we had the compassion to train our chil-"

"Shut up!" Raditz screamed, eyes becoming bloodshot. "I'll hear no more of it! Training?! Being content to wait?! Compassion!? I'll not go soft, not like you, not like!" He was interrupted by the blaring of alarms. The sounds of several doors being opened with hydraulics echoed across their cells, as footsteps began to approach them.

Raditz's eyes widened, his irritation and hatred overspilling as he stared at the object of his jealousy and hatred.

"Kakarot," he spat malice in his voice.

"...Raditz" Goku replied. His voice was even, his expression calm, even jovial. The saiyan raised on Earth either seemed unaware of Raditz's loathing, or uncaring of it. "Hello." He greeted each of the Saiyans with a simple hello and nod, then turned to Bardock. "Hi, dad."

Bardock stared back at Kakarot, a mix of emotions in his head, but he was calm when he replied. "Son."

"I just wanted to come and pay you all a visit, and tell you something." Goku began. "Chi Chi gave birth. You have a grandson."

This caused Bardock to stir in surprise, but the other Saiyans were faster on the uptick. "Well. look at that! Bardock didn't just beat us to parenthood, he's become a grandpa." Taro chuckled, slapping his leader on the back. "Congratulations, you old bastard. I mean, it's a shame it's not a full-blooded saiyan, but honestly, that shouldn't matter too much."

"That Chi-Chi girl was strong." Selypa admitted, "If there was a woman who wasn't a Saiyan that I believed deserved the honor of bearing a Saiyan child, it'd be her."

Bardock's face twisted in a grimace at his subordinate's crass humor.

"Oh, shit! Goku!" one of the prisoners over at the Freeza force side of the cells called out. "You're a dad?! Congrats!"

Goku turned, grinning towards the alien, "Thanks! Um…"

"Oh come on, I know it's been a year, but you forgot my name?"

"Oh, sorry! I remember, Sherbet! How are you doing?!"

"Bored, this manga stuff is entertaining, but it takes way too long for a new chapter to release!"

As Goku walked over to the other prisoners, Bardock continued to reel with the news Kakarot had given him. He's a grandfather? He didn't think he would be emotional over the information, Saiyan children were born all the time, but due to overhearing the aliens on the other side's discussions, he had learned a bit about human culture and anatomy, human women often gave birth naturally, an extremely dangerous option for Saiyan women, who were both so strong their bodies could accidentally kill the fetus, and were so needed in battle that a woman being slowed down by pregnancy was a hindrance. He had heard from Kakarot before that he had married his mate and that she was pregnant, but he had put it in the back of his mind. After a few more minutes of small talk, Goku returned back to their side.

"Was that the only purpose of your visit?" Bardock asked, hiding his feelings yet again.

"Well, that, and a question." Goku scratched his head.

"A question?" Bardock asked, eyes narrowing.

"Well, I heard you guys haven't tried escaping in three months now, so, I asked PaoPao, Jazz, and Kami, and they said as long as I kept a close eye on you guys, they'd allow it."

"What are you talking about?" Pumpkin asked.

"Well… I thought you guys must be bored here, especially with only having each other as sparring partners, I was thinking, would you guys like to come out? You'd be kept in a new location, and your ki wouldn't be suppressed anymore."

"What?!" Selypa climbed over Pumbukin's head, "You'd free us?"

"Well, it's not fully free, you guys can't go wherever you are PaoPao told me it would be a big headache if you were recognized, on account of everyone you guys hurt. It's not that I've fully forgiven what you've done."

"No, no, keep your sentiments." Selypa scoffed, "But that doesn't matter, you're saying we won't have our power suppressed anymore, right? Then I don't care what needs to be done, I want to be free. And you're allowing me to throw fists at those Earthlings again? Sign me up."

"What?!" Raditz growled, "You're subjecting yourself to cavort with those Earthlings and this softy?!"

"Hey, as your dear papa said, Raditz, the Earthlings have some decent fighters, and don't tell me you like being in prison? If I get a new change of pace and people willing to fight me whenever, then hell yeah I'm leaving this dump." The other Saiyans nodded in agreement, with Bardock being the only one other than Raditz to seem to disapprove.

"Why now? It's been a year, if there was an offer to train with us, why only bring it forward now?"

Goku took a few seconds before he answered. "Well, I wanted to ask before, but you guys kept trying to escape. And, besides, you're strong, I wanted to spar with and fight with you guys for real. And my friends want rematches." He gave his father a confident smirk. "Also, Jazz told me he had a feeling that, more than anything, you guys probably wanted to give Freeza and Babidi hell for what he did to you guys and wanted to give you guys the opportunity."

"The opportunity?" Bardock inquired.

"To surpass your limits, Jazz said something about a legendary super saiyan or something, I don't fully get what he means, but he said you guys would understand, and that it would be something you guys would be curious enough about to listen to me and not cause trouble."

"Well, Jazz is correct." Bardock sighed, "I am a bit curious about what he supposedly knows about the legend, especially as he somehow taught you how to control the Oozaru." Goku grinned at Bardock's words.

"Are you sure you trust us to be able to run around?" Selypa smirked, "What if we run the first chance we get?"

"We'd stop you," Goku said matter-of-factly.

"Confident, huh?" Selypa sighed. "Alright then. I for one want some freedom, and it's been annoying seeing those other guys running around and mouthing off about all the entertainment and culture."

The other Saiyans looked at Bardock, who nodded, "I'm interested in hitting Freeza where it hurts, and if you've indeed bought us time to train and get stronger, I'll play along. After we kill that bastard, my crew and I go our separate ways, we won't remain prisoners on this planet."

"You'll have to take that up with PaoPao." Goku said, "But I'll see what I can do." He extended his hand.

"What is this?" Bardock asked, looking down quizzically.

"It's a handshake, you didn't have those on Planet Vegeta?" Goku asked.

Bardock sighed and grasped Goku's hand, marveling at the power behind his grip.

Jazz shook the hands of the Freeza force elite.

"I… I can't believe it." The soldier flexed his hands, "I was so subservient to that bastard alien, not realizing that at any point, he'd be able to kill and torture me in an instant. Though, I'm surprised the supposedly fearsome trespasser is just an old man."

"Think nothing of it." Jazz smiled widely. He had taken the appearance of a mix of old men he had recalled from memory. Next to him, PaoPao wore a fox mask to hide her face.

"I was just told to come to this planet 7 months ago, the trip was long and my temper was large, but I was told I was to recruit and bring you with me. I'm glad Lord Freeza, in his wisdom, sent me without telling me the full story, I'd have betrayed him because of Lord Babidi's hold on me, but now, I'm free to serve my lord."

Jazz smirked, "think nothing of it. I'm glad I could help."

"But man, this planet is so strange." The alien looked around. "I detected several impressive powers, but the majority of you are so weak, are you certain a fighting force worthy of the Freeza force can be prepared in only 5 years?"

Jazz shook his head, "First and foremost, the population is the most important factor, just your freedom required 100 lives." Jazz turned to 100 men, women, children, and old men who lay on the ground around them, blood still gushing from their necks, their eyes glazed and lifeless. A few had even soiled themselves, as one tends to do when dead. "After another two years, the population will have swelled enough that I can focus my efforts on troop management alone. Until then, let Lord Freeza know of our success."

"Oh, he already knows, I've had my scouter on for him to listen to, and he's been telling me he's pleased. I would stay to tour the planet with you, but I have 7 of your Earth months to return back to Lord Freeza's side, Babidi will be suspicious if I'm gone for longer than two years. Lord Freeza awaits your arrival after 4 more years."

"Of course." Jazz, still in the form of an old man, watched as the alien, whom he recognized as Cui, got onto his ship and flew out of the stratosphere. Jazz sighed once he could no longer feel Cui's power. "God, that was a little stressful."

"You did well." PaoPao pat Jazz on the shoulder.

"Couldn't have done anything if you couldn't get the World Military to keep quiet about the ship's arrival. I'm just glad they listened to me when I requested they land at a location far from any people."

"I'm wondering why you even knew of this particular wasteland," PaoPao asked, looking around.

"Eh… I fly, a lot." Jazz stretched his limbs, "Anyway, this wouldn't have been possible without my adoring and loyal army of actors." The supposed corpses began to rise up, bodies exploding into clouds of dust and revealing Jazz copies.

"God, that was a pain in the neck." One said, nursing the red welt on his neck. "It was so weird having to literally actively prevent my body from healing the wound, but also force myself to produce more blood at a surplus, then heal just the bare minimum to stop bleeding."

"Hey, that wasn't as hard as holding my breath."

"At least you guys had it easy, I was trying not to laugh when that asshole began screaming, he nearly pissed himself when the magic hit him.

After a year of rigorous training and practice, Jazz and PaoPao were confident that they could effectively suppress Babidi's Majin Markings., but it wasn't until they experienced the real thing that they knew for certain. PaoPao's trip to the part of the demon realm proved fruitful, with Shula, a character Jazz considered filler, giving a good bit of backstory and insight…

Jazz and PaoPao stood before the proclaimed demon prince, Shula. He had an indignant expression on his face. Surrounding him were several hundred Oni, knocked out, not dead, but still otherwise incapacitated.

"And what do I owe this unpleasant visit? Especially from one who reeks of an unpleasant magic." He glared pointedly at Jazz.

"We wished to inquire about your knowledge of Makai Magic," PaoPao asked.

"Makai magic? What purpose do you seek in the knowledge of our demon arts?"

"There's a sorcerer by the name of Bab-"

Shulla stood up. "Babidi?" His face twisted in irritation. "I hate that bastard."

"You're familiar?" Jazz asked, surprised.

"Of course, we're familiar with the spawn of that idiot, Bibidi."

"Bibidi?" PaoPao looked at Jazz.

"Bibidi is Babidi's father, or well, Babidi was a clone made from Babidi in case the original wizard died." Jazz explained.

"When the concept of time and sentience first graced mortal life, a force of chaos and nature existed, rampaging and destroying, influenced by the very nature of evil and entropy, it was glorious. Nearly a Hundred million years later, a powerful wizard, Bibidi, used his mighty magic to forcefully conjure that force of chaos, coalescing it into Majin Buu. At that time, the destroyer was in a cycle of sleep and refused to be awoken, so for the sake of the universe, the Kais stepped forward to kill Buu, only for them to be defeated and destroyed. At some point, Bibidi, realizing his sin of attempting to control Buu, committed an even greater sin, and sealed Buu away, but not before being killed by the last living Kai. Unfortunately for all of us, Bibidi had his clone, Babidi, who inherited his magic ability." Shulla spat on the ground. The demon realm has had its rulers, for thousands of years, it had been ruled by King Dabura, who had deposed of Lord Lucifer and deposed of his power, banishing him at random to Earth. Dabura tasked me to keep the charge of entrance points to Earth after Lucifer snuck in and commanded a countless legion of oni to flee the realm with him.

Jazz cocked an eyebrow, "This is all well and good, could you please return to continuing to talk about Babidi? Given that Lucifer is dead and all."

"Ah… yes, you lot killed him." Shulla smirked, "Well, all was well and good then, but, maybe 100 years ago, Babidi came to the demon realm, he bewitched and recruited Dabura, forcing him to abdicate the throne. That in itself I do not mind, as the demon realm is always in chaos, whether we have a king or not, but I hate, more than anything, the fact that our proud and powerful king is subservient to such a bastard. I'm familiar with his evil impulse spell, and I can even instruct you on how it works, and recreate sorcery, as it originates from our realm."

"Really? Just like that?" Jazz asked.

"Yes, just like that, because I know you plan to kill that wizard."

"To save Dabura?"

"I could care less, kill him, save him, free him? So long as he is no longer under Babidi's control I'm happy."

Jazz's reminiscing was cut short when his communicator turned on. "Y'hello?"

~"Hey, Jazz, this is Krillin. Just calling to inform you that the Saiyans agreed with Kami's conditions, they've been moved up to the lookout."~

Jazz smiled, "That's nice, thanks for letting me know, any issues?"

~"Nothing too bad, they're insufferable, but right now, we're all way better than they are."~

"Good, fighting against Saiyans will be pretty helpful to you guys."

~"And, after 3 years, you said you and Kami would arrange to send us to meet a new teacher, right?"~

"Yup." Jazz confirmed, "It's that added insurance I think we need to get the edge on Frieza's guys."

"Oh, actually, outside of that," Krillin chuckled over the line, "that one Saiyan, Goku's brother, he's such a prick, he doesn't train at all, he just winges all the time about his pride and being a Saiyan and the moon. Should we send him back?"

"Nah… I don't know how Bardock would feel about use abusing his son, just cause he's a prick, let him stew in his inadequacy, maybe he'll turn around, he probably won't but maybe."

"Also… um… Jazz, that one Saiyan girl, she has no idea about personal space or shame, she's walked around naked…"

"I don't think she cares if anyone sees."

"I care!"

"I mean, have you told her to stop?"

"She's kinda scary though."

"Krillin, didn't you want to be more popular with the ladies?"

"'The ladies'..." Krillin began, "I'm sorry to say, Jazz, but, 'the ladies' she is not."

Jazz burst out laughing as he saw PaoPao roll her eyes. "Okay, okay, I'll come and talk to them."

Jazz shook his head. "Jeez, those guys."

"Don't be too hard on them." PaoPao shook her head. "It's not every day the enemies who tried to kill you are now foisted on you as training partners."

"I mean, yeah, but I wish they'd be a bit more flexible in mindset, like Goku and Piccolo."

"Those two have certainly taken a shine to each other. I believe you when you say that originally, they were major rivals during this time period."

"Well, I mean, I'm no slouch either, neither of us is, and Lapis is doing much better than before. Lazuli is also progressing in her training, both kids seem happy. In two years they'll graduate."

PaoPao nodded. "Yes, they will. I hope they don't feel too pressured on the type of future they wish to live in."

"Well, no matter what, there's very little in the world that can hamper their dreams, at least on a physical level." Jazz chuckled. Internally, he thought about Dr. Gero, the years he spent being a parent to the twins caused him to gain a hatred for the Doctor, and what he had originally done to those children. Unbeknownst to even PaoPao, he sent copies out daily to hunt for the Doctor and had actually destroyed a few laboratories over the year, but no matter how hard he hunted, he got no whiff of the actual doctor, or of his main enforcers.

"Speaking of that, Lapis has expressed interest in nature conservation, he loved the national park we went to last month."

Jazz chuckled, "I'm glad. He'd be great at whatever he does. And what about Lazuli?"

"She hasn't really expressed any interests just yet. But…" PaoPao frowns. "We may have a bit of a problem."

"A problem?" Jazz asked.

"Well, they're growing up."

"Yes, they're 16, what about them growing up is wrong?"

"Well, hormones. As you know, Lapis has been pursuing a classmate in his school, she's a junior member of the Satan Dojo, so they excuse their outings as training together."

"Did you have the talk with him?"

"Well, I'm waiting for you to do that, and at the least, his phone doesn't reveal he's done anything past kissing."

"Are you spying on him?!"

"That's not important."

"That's very important, actually!"

"Okay, okay, we can discuss that later, what's really important is Lazuli."

"What, is she also dating?"

"No, it's not that she's dating. It's that there's someone she wants to date."

Jazz narrowed his eyes, "what? Why's that a problem?"

Lapis showed him a picture. It was a tabloid magazine with a couple in wedding attire. But what surprised Jazz was that Lazuli had pasted a picture of her head on the woman's head, and pasted a picture of Krillin's head on the man's."

Jazz's jaw dropped. "Oh, oh shit."

After Afterword

Welp, time to address the elephant in the room. The "elite" that visited was Cui, as for why I didn't mention his name? Eh, I don't know, didn't feel like it. If any of you are curious Cui's current powerlevel is 126,000, 7 times greater than it was in the original canon. No real threat to the entire team, but he wasn't really a threat in the original series either.

Time to address the other elephant. Lazuli having a crush on Krillin I feel is something that started as a passing attraction to a real attachment based on Krillin's character. Krillin has always been a kind of fellow who uses his head, but when the chips are down, even if he doesn't have a chance he puts his best foot forward, no matter how scared he is. I believe that's probably what attracted Android 18 to him in the first place in the original timeline, so I don't think much has changed just because they met each other at this younger age, except one thing. Lazuli has a crush on Krillin, but Krillin is both unaware of her feelings and, even better, doesn't view her as a romantic interest because at the end of the day, she's "Jazz's kinda bratty daughter who makes fun of me alot". Whether this resolves itself in the future remains to be seen.

Also, to the guest who asked if Redilis is a Tuffle? Thanks for the comment! And to answer your question, maybe, maybe not, you might find out next chapter.
