It had been three months since Kirsch sacrificed her life for the sake of the world. This occurrence began when the Proto Merkabah was destined to fire upon thousands of innocent lives. The realian gave reason for this noble deed, it was simply because it was what her heart desired— her free will. With this resolve, Kirsch found the strength within herself to oppose against Albedo and ultimately save Shion from her death. Her reluctance to give up gave morale to the others despite their crafts being torn to pieces. So on foot Shion and co. clashed against the grotesque Simeon themselves. Even after the battle had been done the end was still far. Proto Merkabah was beginning to fire.

Kirsch unbeknownst to them ran ahead to stop it's assault.

When the realian hooked herself to the station's console static fatally ran through her body. One by one her circuits were being shattered, the energy output was far too much for her to handle. Kirsch didn't let that fact get to her for saving the others wasn't out of the question.

With life flashing before her, Kirsch fell with a smile.

On the other far side of the station, Shion and the others ran for the exit. Along the way, MOMO discovered that Kirsch had activated a self destruct sequence from it's depths. Damage from here on out was still certain. KOS-MOS without the help of logical thought left the team. Even the simple act of running looked majestic for her. KOS-MOS's hair blew as she ran, leaving shimmers of a azure trail. Panic shot through Shion cold when she'd noticed. Desperately the engineer tried to contact her but to no avail.

The android simply responded, "Will feeling pain make me complete?"

After that, static.

The crew had no other choice but to enter the Elsa without her, Matthews wanted to leave to avoid the explosion but Shion simply refused.

Tony tried to turn the ship around but was soon meeted by falling debris. With no other options Shion shook her head.

The Elsa turned around to dock by the oceanside. It was unlikely spot for any encounters.

Nearby beamed a trail of light that spiralled from the ocean.

Leaving the beautiful display was the sight of heavenly plumes. They fell like snow, shining beautifully the bright sun above. However, Shion still wasn't convinced that KOS-MOS was alive. The Elsa's camera switched it's display to view it's top exterior. Standing upon it— was KOS-MOS herself. The android turned around, hair blowing beautifully with the wind. While everyone celebrated Shion could only say— "Welcome back... KOS-MOS."
