This takes place somewhere in session one
John or as he preferred to be called Homelander was currently gazing outside a window within Vought Tower with his arms crossed behind his back. He seemed to be deep in thought but whatever was plaguing his mind was temporary forgotten as he heard a strange wheezing groaning noise fill the room.
"What in the." He said as he spun around and his eyes widened upon seeing a strange blue box began to fade into existence before it was brought to a halt.
Homelander eyed the box for a moment in a power pose as he wondered what it even was. "A box?" He said confused before his eyes lit up red and he blasted his heat vision at the thing only for it to do absolutely nothing. "Impossible..." he muttered before the doors creaked open and a man clad in a long brown trench coat over a fancy suit wandered out.
"Hello John." He said almost mockingly as he walked closer.
"It's Homelander. And just who do you think you are?" He said with a sadistic smile before it faltered and he looked confused. "That's odd, you seem to have two hearts and no lungs, just those tube things." He said with confusion before shaking his head and smiling once more. "But I guess in the end it really doesn't matter, you'll be just as dead either way if you don't start talking. Oh and don't think running back to your heat resist box will save you."
"Ah yes the hearts." The man said as he grabbed his chest for a moment. "My physiology is a bit different than yours, me being a Timelord and all. But that's not important. What is, is the fact that you're a tyrant who's been abusing his power for far too long. And I won't be needing my box to stop you." He explained.
Homelander raised eyebrow with a skeptical look before he let out a dry sarcastic laugh as he doubled over, leaning his hands against his legs while laughing before he composed himself and pointing at the man. "You're either extremely brave or extremely stupid. Maybe you're suicidal, do you really want to be reduced to a pile of gore and blood? Because believe me buddy if that's your wish I can certainly grant it." He said as he approached him with his arms behind his back.
The man wasn't fazed by the threat. "Gore and blood you say? Well that sounds awfully messy. But here's the thing John," he started and Homelanders eyes twitched
"It's Homelander!!!" He growled as his eyes heated up threateningly.
"No actually, it's John." He said as he got in Homelanders face which surprised him enough to make his eyes return to normal.
"Listen her you British cocksucking mother fucker! I will kill you and everyone you ever loved! EVERYONE! I am the HOMELANDER!!" He spat with malice.
Oh look at you, throwing a little tantrum I see? Anyways as I was saying before you rudely interrupted my name is The Doctor, and I've met plenty of people like you throughout my years, each one of them thought they were unstoppable that they could do whatever they please no matter how many innocents suffer. Wanna know what changed? Answer is they met me." He said darkly.
"Ooh, I'm terrified." Homelander said sarcastically before cackling. "You do realize I'm an actual god right?" He asked as if the question was ridiculous. "I can do whatever the fuck I want, because I am perfect I am better! Some British twat in a blue box couldn't ever hope to defeat me!" He said with his eyes gleaming with pride.
"That's where your wrong, your not a god and your far from perfect. You're just a man child with too much power. But that all ends here." He said as he quickly dug into his pocket and pulled out a small mirror right as Homelander screamed out: "DIE!" as he shot out a laser beam towards the man and thanks to his beyond human reflexes he managed to deflect the blast back into his eyes with a small hand held mirror with crystalline like green glass.
"AHHHHH!" Homelander screamed as he began to rub his eyes. "W-t-the fuck?" He said with a pained whine, this is the most painful thing he's felt since his childhood.
"Ah that's a Dermenchium glass mirror, made out of some of the most durable reflective glass's in the universe I figured this would take care of that pesky heat vision of yours." He then pulled out a needle with some sort of strange orange substance and poked it into John's wrist, completely emptying the fluid while he was busy rubbing his eyes.
John just regained his vision and saw that somehow someway this Doctor guy was able to pierce his skin with some type of needle. "W-ho-" He stuttered in fear and confusion as he ripped it out and examined it. He let out a hysterical laugh of disbelief before his face contorted to fear as he dropped the needle. "What... W-what was that?" He stuttered. "It actually hurt me, m-made me even bleed. I've never bled before..."
"Oh that would be Honagona steel! It's far sharper then durable then anything you'd find on earth." The Doctor explained with a cheerful look.
Homelander growled and tried to fire off his heat vision again but failed. He recoiled in shock. "What?" He said before trying even harder and only making his eyes hurt. "Fine! I'll just do this the old fashioned way." He then threw a punch at the man who caught it easily. "..." Homelander, no John Gillman was too shocked to even speak as he realized his powers were gone. "N-n-no! NO! NO!" He screamed in horror as he backed away with tears forming in his eyes and dropped to his knees.
"Oi what's the matter? Are you gonna cry? Well now that's not very god like is it?" The Doctor teased as he kneeled beside the man. "It's a shame you weren't the hero you were thought to be. Someone with your kind of power could do a world of good but unfortunately you chose the wrong path, you chose to use it for your own selfish desires."
"Just shut the fuck up! Stupid British asshole! What did you fucking do to me! TELL ME NOW!" John screamed while sobbing but he already knew what happened he didn't want to accept it.
The Doctor felt a tinge of remorse for the man and offered his hand. "John, it's not too late to change. There's a better way and I can show you it."
John stopped crying and stared into the Doctors kind brown eyes. "Change? You're fucking joking right? You turned me into..." he trailed of as he gestured to himself. "Into a disgusting weak mortal! I-I'm a godamn mud person now! A fucking mud person!" He said hysterically.
The Doctor grimaced and felt his hearts brake. "Oh John, poor, poor misguided John. You've never gotten to experience what it's like to be truly loved by someone have you? That's apart of the reason you are what you are today." He said pitifully before changing to a enthusiastic tone. "But! You should know that there's plenty of people out there that can give you that kind of attention. You just have to find them."
Homelander felt humiliated about being pitied this much but there wasn't anything he could do. "Fuck you." He said as he looked at the ground.
The Doctor then placed a hand on his shoulder and stared at him with the most kind smile John as ever seen before. "It's not too late John, it's never too late. I believe in you, I believe you can change for the better."
Homelander's mouth gaped open as he blinked his eyes with disbelief. He looked like he was about to cry. "Nobody's ever told me they believed in me before and really meant it..." He knew the man had no reason to lie as he was no longer a threat. He stood up and so did the Doctor. "Do you mean it?" He asked hopefully.
The Doctor smiled as he helped the man to his feet. "Of course John. I'm all about second chances."
John felt his lips quivering as he's never been treated so kindly before or had anyone believe in him. He couldn't stop himself and wrapped the Doctor into a tight hug as he began to cry lightly.
The Doctor realized now John Gillman wasn't some sociopathic murdering tyrant but rather a man who was denied love his whole life and so naturally became what is he today. The Doctor patted John on the back. "There there, let it all out."
John stopped and looked into his eyes. "P-please don't ever leave me..." He said like a child not wanting his father to go to work.
"I won't John, not until you're ready."
And so they went into the TARDIS and faded from existence leaving the world forever questioning just what happened to the world's strongest hero as Vought towers security footage inside the Sevens meeting room was mysteriously missing. And there was no sign of Homelander leaving on any of the cameras outside of Vought. He went inside the room and just vanished.
Three days later...
Of course the Boys were crowded around a small tv with perplexed looks.
"The bloody hell happened? Did Vought manage to off him somehow?" Butcher said comfused.
"The mother fucker was said to be able to tank a nuclear explosion, what kind of weapon could Vought have cooked up capable of erasing Homelander without a trace?" Mother's milk said.
"Maybe they knocked him out somehow? And are like keeping him in some sort of lab?" Hughie suggested.
Frenchie, who had been silently contemplating, finally spoke up. "Non, mes amis, I don't think it was Vought. Homelander was too powerful, too unpredictable. Even they feared him. This…this feels like something else. Maybe it was a rouge Supe?"
"I'm really not liking the sound of that." Hughie said worriedly.
"But who could be strong enough to take on Homelander and win? Without even leave signs of a struggle?" Mother's milk said in the same worried tone as Hughie.
"Let's just hope if some supe out there was strong enough to off the cunt he isn't a totally prick. Knowing are luck though he's probably and even bigger cunt then Homelander." Butcher said.
"Great." Mother's milk said sarcastically as he knew he was probably right.
And not to long after Homelanders mysterious disappearance a bunch of incriminating videos and evidence against Vought was leaked by a unknown source and the company was quickly shut down and all involved with compound V were arrested and received several charges ensuring life in prison. And all supes were prohibited from using there powers in any way. Meanwhile Butcher and the rest of the boys were watching the tv with even more shocked looks then when Homelander vanished.
A couple weeks later...
"First Homelander and how this?" Mother's milk gasped. "Someone actually did our job for us."
"Je ne peux pas le croire. But who could it have been?" Frenchie said.
"So, does this mean... We're gonna retire? I-I can really think of anything to fight for anymore I mean we won guys." Hughie said with a smile.
"Fuckin hell I guess we can now." Butcher said with a scoff. "The kids right, there's nothing left for us to do."
"Well I can think of one last thing we need to do." Mother's Milk said with a smile.
"Ětre célibataire?" Frenchie said with a smile. "Shall we all get drunk and hammered together? Perhaps call a few transgender strippers?"
"Yeah! Minus the strippers that sounds like one hell of a plan." Hughie agreed.
"Alright, let's do it then boys." Butcher said, who had the widest smile of all of them.
"Fuck yeah!" Mother's Milk said.
After that night The Boys would be disbanded and Butcher would eventually find his wife and Ryan, he wouldn't like the kid at first but eventually he accepted him as his own. Mother's Milk would return to his family and vow he was done with The Boys forever and Hughie would finally move on with his life as would Frenchie.
