As morning rose, Artemis and Percy snuggled together, basking in their combined warmth.
Of course, Percy had already cleansed the bed of the bodily fluids that covered it from the night before, as part of his menial duties before going to bed.
Using his arm as a pillow, Artemis silently gazed at Percy, who was peacefully laying in slumber.
Her silver pupils softened when she watched her lover.
His arms hugged her waist, firmly pressing their hips together.
The goddess could feel his chest slowly expand and contract with her body.
Looking at his face, she noticed that he strangely had long eyelashes for a guy.
They were a bit long like a girl's eyelashes, and they were kind of pretty to look at.
How would he look if he was a girl?
Would he have had those same eyelashes?
What would've even happened if he was a girl instead of a man?
...
After running through the possibilities, she didn't want to think about it anymore.
If he was a she then, she wouldn't have known the pleasure of loving someone.
And, she would've never have fallen in love with such a perfect man.
Her perfect man.
He was all hers and no one else.
That thought made her giggle inside.
It fed into her obsessive side a little bit.
Artemis was never going to let him go.
Willingly, that is.
...
Inspecting his features once again, she thought that he was the best-looking man in the entire world.
Of course, there were objectively better-looking men in the world, but Artemis would still say that Perseus was the best one out of them all.
Nice-looking nose.
Admittedly, it was a strange thought, thinking about how someone else's nose could look nice.
It was something that she never thought about.
But, it looked boop-able.
His sleeping face looked super cute.
Her eyes moved down to his lips.
They were the same ones that she ravaged the night before.
They looked super kissable, if kissable was a even a word to begin with.
She would kiss him right then, but she didn't want to wake him up.
After everything he'd done for her, not just for last night, he deserved to sleep in.
Last night, he looked exhausted because she selfishly made him stay up longer than he was usually capable of.
The images of last night flashed through her mind.
How out of character perverted she was.
Envisioning a love goddess making a "oops" expression, she was such a pervert like that slutty woman.
Her moaning from last night rang loud in her ears.
Just thinking about it made her embarrassed.
Fuck.
...
Stupid Aphrodite.
She must've done something.
...
But.
It did feel really good.
Then, she noticed that his sleeping dragon was pressed against her groin, activating a neuron in her brain.
Her head began to fill with dirty thoughts.
How he rammed it in her last night.
For now, it was asleep, but she could remember its full glory.
Her womb ached slightly in desire as if it was linked with her thoughts.
Catching herself before her thoughts got out of hand, she inwardly reprimanded herself, wiping those thoughts away and forcing her body to normalize itself.
Geez.
She had to stop thinking dirty.
And, little Perseus was certainly not helping.
Turning her focus back onto Perseus himself, the goddess noticed that his brow furrowed, and Perseus hugged her tighter like he was having a bad dream.
What was he dreaming about?
She didn't know.
But, she matched the strength of his hug and made herself smaller.
Being able to make herself smaller than him had its perks, she could easily listen to the beating of his heart.
Pressing her ear up against his chest, it was beating a bit faster than usual, but thankfully it gradually relaxed as she continued to listen.
Inwardly letting out a sigh of relief, her eyelids began to feel heavy all of a sudden.
Burying her head into his chest, she inhaled his masculine scent.
His scent was so addicting, so-
Manly.
It made her feel so secure.
Surrendering her body, his warmth was so nice, allowing her to drift off to sleep.
T-T
"Artemis, dear. You can stay for however long you like, however," Leto paused, "please keep the volume to a minimum. I would greatly appreciate it."
The goddess' calm face paused for a second, comprehending what her mother had said, before her face turned into a look of pure unadulterated horror.
Artemis thought back to last night.
Did she put up a barrier?
She clearly remembered all of the events that led up to that moment and realized that she, indeed, did not set one up.
Although the tent had sound proofing capabilities, it wasn't powerful enough to prevent a major god from listening in, much less a titan.
Then that means if Leto meant what Artemis thought she meant, then...
Oh gods.
There was no way she could look her mother in the eyes.
As Artemis grappled with the reality that she was presented with, Percy held her hand to try to comfort her.
He apologized in her stead, "My apologies, Madam. We-"
Leto held her hand up, interrupting him. "Leto. Call me Leto. You are dating my daughter, yes?"
By the tone of her question, it seemed like she was expecting a certain answer.
Sneaking a glance at Artemis, Percy wanted to see what she thought.
Coincidentally, Artemis also happened to sneak a glance at him at the same time he was, so their eyes met.
Caught off guard, she thought, 'What are you looking at me for?'
'What are you talking about. You were looking at me too.'
'So what.'
Reluctantly, Percy started, 'Well...'
'Speak,' Artemis demanded.
'How do I answer Leto? Am I dating you?' Percy was unfamiliar with the term dating.
Artemis immediately saw the predicament he was placed in. They never talked about love/relationships too deeply. Also, they did skip a few steps and did the deed before making anything concrete.
Their relationship was certainly unconventional?
So.
That left Artemis wondering.
What was their relationship?
Were they dating?
All she knew for certain was that she just wanted to love him.
Love the fuck out of him.
Artemis wanted to love the ever loving shit out of him.
To make sure that, he knew that she was the only one that was meant for him.
Whether that was for Artemis or for Percy, that had yet to be seen.
Even still, the definition of their relationship was not set in stone.
That was until Percy said, "Yes. I am dating your daughter."
Both mother and daughter were equally surprised to hear those words come out of his mouth.
For Artemis, those words were like publicly announcing their love.
Artemis' head short circuited to the point where you could see steam coming from her head from how embarrassed she was.
For Leto, she was pleasantly surprised that Percy was the one to tell her, since she even admitted to Hestia that the boy wouldn't be the first one to confess.
It seemed that, after spending a time with her precious daughter, he got influenced by Artemis' bluntness.
Looking at her stunned daughter, Leto said, "Artemis, dear. I am not insensitive enough to listen in to your alone time, so there's no need to be embarrassed. After all, your father and I were intimate like that once upon a time."
"Mother! Too much information!"
Turning her attention to Percy, the titan said, "Sorry for talking about this in front of you. Are you uncomfortable at all?"
"Oh, no. Of course not. Artemis is quite cute when she's expressive like this."
Like finding a fellow soul, her eyes lit up like fireworks. "I know right! My Artemis is the absolute cutest! Look at her little pouting face. She soo cute!"
Artemis let out a defeated whine at Leto's fuzzing. Then, she signaled to Percy with her eyes and pleaded, 'Could we leave now. Please.'
He smiled back and said, 'Of course, we can leave whenever you want, my love.'
Lacing his fingers with his lover, Percy coughed, alerting the titan. "Excuse me, Leto. But, Artemis and I must return to the camp. We overstayed a bit too long, and the girls might get worried for their Mistress."
Recognizing their desire to go, Leto agreed, "Ah, of course. Have a safe trip back. You should come visit again, it was a pleasure!"
Waving them off, Leto kept a warm smile on her face.
Secretly sending a message to Artemis, Leto said, "Next time come by with my grandchildren~"
Tightening her grip, she walked faster, pulling along a confused Percy.
Although embarrassed, a mix of emotions bubbled within Artemis, mainly happiness, while she felt warmth emanating through her fingers.
"A- Artemis, why are we running?"
A strong wind blew loudly in his ear.
"I don't know!"
"What?"
"I don't know!!!"
Percy didn't notice her attire until then, but she was wearing a long white dress.
It wasn't a very eye-catching dress. In fact, it was a rather plain dress, but instead of taking away from her beauty it only enhanced them, making her look even more gorgeous.
She laughed as she tried to keep her dress down and her hair from flying out everywhere. But, the wind refused to let up.
Percy didn't know why she was so happy, when a little while ago it looked like she wanted to bury herself in a hole.
Percy scooped her up and held her as her dress kept flying out everywhere. "Are you cold?"
"Very." Shielding her eyes from the stray floating hairs, her rosy dimples looked enchanting as the wind howled around them.
Her skin was freezing, so he was worried that she might catch a cold.
"I remember passing by a cave near here, we should rest there," he said while beginning to sprint.
"Ok."
Arriving at the cave, he instantly noticed that the cave was surprisingly warmer than the outside.
Perfect.
No need to block the entrance.
He began to start a fire with the wood he gathered along the way.
Touching her skin, Percy exclaimed, "Artemis, you're freezing!"
"Am I?" Her tone sounded like she didn't know what was going on.
"You are," he said while feeling her skin again to make sure. "You're like an ice cube."
Seemingly unbothered, she said, "Then I guess, you'll need to warm me up." Her silver eyes flashed seductively.
"Oh." Everything clicked in his head at that very moment.
Artemis forgot to retrieve the cube from Leto's house, so they did not have anything to lay down on.
Well, not if Percy had a say in the matter.
With a tug of his gut and a small nose bleed, he summoned a mattress out of thin air and laid her on top of it.
"You're bleeding," Artemis said bluntly.
Percy hummed in agreement.
She wiped it off with a quick swipe of her finger, staining her perfect skin.
"It's dirty." He immediately cleaned her hand. "Its good now."
Artemis smiled and looked expectantly at him.
"Are you sure?" Percy felt reluctant because he was unsure if he could control himself.
Giggling, his lover teased, "Where did your confidence go?"
"Er. It's because of you."
"Me?" Artemis questioned.
"Because you're too good for someone like me."
"Huh?" Surprised, Artemis couldn't help but to say the first thing that came to mind.
Wait no. That wasn't right.
Her?
Being too good for him.
He must be joking.
But, it only took a single look for her to understand that he was being truthful.
No.
She had to clear that up.
Looking directly into his eyes, she said, "That's far from true. If anything. You're too good for me."
His eyes turned surprised. And, it looked like he was about to say something, but he decided not to.
"When you came here, I loaded you with all the things that no one else wanted to do. Every single one of the girls showed you some sort of hatred toward you. But, you didn't hate them back. You had every right to, but you didn't. I watched it all and did nothing. And you moved along with your day, hoping that maybe they would open up the next day. And when that day didn't go well you waited for the next day. Then the next day. Then the next. Those days became weeks. Then into years. And yet, you hold an once of hate towards them. All you've given me was sincerity when all I've done was bring you down. Because those girls were my creation. But you still showed me sincerity and nothing else. So, how could I not fall in love with you?"
Percy was at a loss of words because he had never once thought about why Artemis had fallen in love with him.
Maybe he thought that he got lucky. He didn't know.
But, there was one thing he knew for certain. "Artemis... All those nights we spent together with you teaching me about all the things that I didn't know. That was the only reason I was able to keep going. You didn't have to do anything special. Just keeping me company in this new world was enough for me. So..."
His face got close to hers with their lips almost touching.
Just when they were about to get intimate, a wooden clang sounded near the entrance of the cave, drawing their attention.
There stood a girl with dirty blonde hair and black eyes.
It was Alexie.
"What the f!" She exclaimed.
