Erica Pov:

Today is my 6th birthday! Mama and Papa said we can get a kitty, and I will be a grown up to take care of it!

As Mama and Papa were in the store, I was looking at all the kitties before noticing a boy walking around, he has white hair, red eyes and ichy skin, there was something red on him, he looked sad, so I went outside to check on him to see if he's okay.

"Hello! are you okay?" I asks, when he turned, he didn't look well, when I reached to touch him, he put his hands up over his face, that surprised me but I didn't let that bother me and smiled, "Mama and Papa can help you! my names Erica! whats your name?" I asks and he looked hesitant before answering.

"T Tenko..Shimura"

End Of Pov:

"Erica!?" Her mother called and the father looked shocked at the state Tenko in, noticing how frightened he is, Erica's Father offers Tenko his hand, "Come on kid, let's get you cleaned up at our home" Tenko was hesitant, "M My Quirk..." he shudders out and Erica's Mother understood, she takes out mittens and hands it to Tenko gently, "Here you go dear" Tenko takes it and puts them on before hesitantly taking Erica's Fathers hand as Erica's Mother picks Erica up, both parents looked at each other before nodding and taking both kids home.

Once they arrived home, Erica's Father took Tenko for a bath while Erica's Mother searched for clothes after serving Erica birthday cake, but Erica didn't eat it. Once both parents returned, Erica smiles, "Tenko!here come eat cake with me!" Erica says as Tenko seemed surprisied, he looked up at both parents who smile and nod before going to sit next to Erica, he noticed how small Erica was for a 6 year old.

"Here here!" Erica says eagerly as she gives Tenko her slice of cake, "I left the cookie on top, I like cookies but I want you to have it!" Erica smiles brightly as Tenko stares before taking a bite, his eyes lit with amazement as he eats the cake, "...Its yummy" Tenko says and Erica cheers before getting her own cake as both parents smiled with pride, knowing their daughter, she would always share first before gettting some for herself, normally kids Erica's age would be arrogant with food, but their Quirks Mainly, Erica however would always show kindness and complicity to others.

"...Hun, did you call CPS?" Erica's Mother asks and Erica's Father shakes his head, "Nah...I think its better we keep him, Erica's always asked for a Big Brother or Sister" Erica's Mother seemed uncertain, "Are you sure?.." Erica's Father smiles softly, "Positive...I'm sure Tenko can fill a void in Erica's heart, something we can never do"

Weeks had passed, and Tenko took the time to play with Erica and take care of her, he liked it, unlike his old family, Erica and her parents were very kind people, Erica's Mother would scold him when he and Erica got dirty, Erica's Father wasn't like his own, he was very calm, listened to what he had to say, and always included Tenko when taking Erica out once a week, but it was mainly Erica that Tenko grew attached to, he was very protective of her, finding out she didn't awaken her Quirk yet and gets bullied for it made him want to protect her, afterall she was the first one to reach out to him, and he was greatful for her.

While drawing with Erica, her parents called him to the kitchen, feeling confused Tenko went to go see what they needed, "We have a question for you Tenko" Erica's Mom says as Erica's Dad nods, "And we want your full permission before proceeding" Tenko seemed nervous before seeing as both parents push papers infront of him.

"We would like to adopted you into our family"

Tenko was staring in shock, 'They want to...adopt me?' he thought in disbelief, "We noticed how close you and Erica gotten over the weeks, and how much you filled the loneiness of this home...so we want you to join our family" Erica's Mom says as Tenko begun tearing up, "You mean it?..." he mumbles and both parents smile, "We mean it Tenko" Erica's Father ressures and Tenko cries as he nods, feeling such strange warmth in his heart.

"Y Yes...please take me with you
