"The Covenant?" Barret wondered.

"Are they some kind of a religious group?" Tifa asked.

"They are religious. They're a faction filled with different alien species that share the same goal of reaching great enlightenment," Will explained.

"But they see humans as an obstacle that dares to stand in the way of reaching enlightenment. Their solution? Kill all the humans," Logan continued explaining. "And if you're wondering, no, the clips you saw are not fabricated, they are all real. All of the cameramen that recorded those battles gave their lives to record such events. Only one cameraman survived. Will can show you the one clip where I was fighting alongside Chief if you want."

Will explained how humanity discovered the Covenant, their only message was that they arrived to destroy humanity. There were multiple times when humanity tried to reach out to Covenant peacefully but were all rejected. It was then the war between humanity and the Covenant began, the war even spanned to different planets. They were very powerful and humanity was almost defeated by this force.

"This is a lot to take in…" Jessie said.

"I understand if this feels mind blowing to all of you. It's not everyday some armored soldiers from a different world entirely arrive on your doorsteps and say 'hey guys, let's work together' like that?"

"Ok, another question?" Will asked.

"What's a Spartan?" Cloud inquired. "The last clip, someone called Chief a Spartan?"

Will began to explain that the Spartans are super soldiers of the UNSC. Originally they were meant to counter terrorists, rebels and any groups who would oppose the UNSC in a terroristic violent manner. But when the Covenant arrived, the Spartans were, luckily, then deployed to fight them. If it wasn't for the Spartans, humanity would surely fall. The Spartans were exponential in humanity's fight against the Covenant.

"There are around different generations of Spartans. The Spartan IIs, the Spartans IIIs and the current Spartan IVs," Logan explained.

"Chief here is a Spartan II. The generation of the Spartan IIs are the best of the best. The IIIs and the IVs weren't even close to those guys," Joel said.

"What about you guys?" Biggs asked. "Which generation are you guys from?"

"Oh…well…me, Joel and Will are not technically Spartans," Logan said. "Like Will said, he's a robot, or a drone. I don't know how that works sometimes. Me and Joel? We're just some other super soldiers beside the Spartans. We three happen to wear the same armor as Chief."

"On top of that I'm a bounty hunter and oftentimes a mercenary," Joel answered. "I'm usually employed by the UNSC 24/7."

"Oh, like Cloud here," Jessie said.

"You're a bounty hunter?" Logan asked.

"Merc actually," Cloud replied.

Joel smiled. "Glad I ain't the only one. No, really. I'm the only bounty hunter in the UNSC."

Tifa chuckled. "At least you two are not alone now."

"Maybe Joel can teach YOU a thing or two," Barret commented.

"On top of that, he's a SOLDIER," Wedge revealed.

"You're one of them?" Logan said. "Nice! Another super soldier on the team!"

"From what we've gathered, there are three classes of SOLDIERS," Will recalled. "Which one of the classes may you be Cloud?"

"First class."

"I see. Impressive."

"I wonder what your parents will say about you guys being super soldiers," Wedge said to Blue Team.

Suddenly, Blue Team went silent. The air around them grew…tense.

"Is…everyone ok?" Tifa asked in concern.

"Parents may be a complicated topic for the Chief," Will said immediately.

"Me and Logan aren't that complicated," Joel answered. "I don't know my parents, because the next thing I knew, I woke up at a guild. Logan? He lost his mom for almost two years. My fiance and I decided to take him to our care. Like a surrogate parent? After two years, he found his mom, but Logan still wanted us as his parents."

"That's…actually sweet," Jessie said.

"Did something happen between Logan and his birth mother after that? If you don't mind me asking," Biggs asked.

"Oh, nothing happened, don't worry," Logan assured him. "She just works at the mess hall of the UNSC Infinity mostly. I went to chat with her when I had the time."

For the next hour, everyone continued with their questions.

"Alright, I guess we'll wrap it up for the day," Will said. "Everyone here can continue asking more questions tomorrow after we're done infiltrating one of Shinra's broadcast stations early in the morning."

"We'll be seeing you guys tomorrow!" Logan said as he and Will walked out of the bar.

Joel tipped his hat at them. "Stay safe folks!"

Chief looked back at them before putting a small device on the table.

"Press the small button if you ever need to contact us. We'll keep in touch," Chief told them before he walked out of the bar as well.

As they left they all looked at each other.

"You know, this is the part where I say we shouldn't trust them but…" Biggs trailed off.

"I think they seem like genuine people," Tifa commented.

"This whole thing feels a bit too much to take in," Barret groaned.

"But Tifa is right. How else would they show the truth behind the explosion of the reactor," Jessie said.

"Well, we are gonna see them in action tomorrow," Wedge said.

Cloud crossed his arms. "We'll see if they're skills are as good as their words."

Back at their ship, the armored super-soldiers got to planning immediately on the war table. A Monitor came beside them.

"We'll use one of the viruses created by me and Jubilant," Will said.

"And a programmable one at that. We can terminate said virus, just in case Shinra may get their hands on it," Jubilant Spark explained.

"Why not?"

"Remember, their technology is quite advanced for something that isn't in the 2500s. The one at the helm in the scientific department is Professor Hojo. We know how psychotic and smart he is, being able to harness the powers of Jenova," Will reminded. "Impressive if you ask me. But even if they can't reverse engineer our highly advanced virus technology, it's better safe than sorry."

"Hmm. Good point. But who's gonna be planting the virus?" Joel asked.

Logan raised his hand. "I volunteer. Any intel we want to steal?"

"That is after we are done broadcasting the message of Barrett's cell being innocent. You are going to steal any hard copy files from a small military compound from Shinra, quietly. Chief and Joel will be the distractions. The military is mostly guarded by Sweepers with fewer guards. I will hack into all of the cameras so they will not be able to see you."

Chief nodded. "Understood."

Joel smiled as he twirled his machete. "Can't wait."

"Meeting is dismissed," Chief said.

Early the next morning, Blue Team got up and prepared everything while Will brought a portable laptop device with him. The ship dropped them off just right outside the city. The super-soldiers began their walk. It didn't take them too long as they arrived at 7th Heaven.

"Don't know why, but I feel…excited for some reason," Logan said.

Joel chuckled. "Probably can't wait to show them what we can do, yeah?"

"As long as you stay focused," Chief told the two.

Joel patted his shoulder. "You know me, Chief."

They stood outside the doorway of the bar.

"Hmm, maybe Tifa has opened the bar yet," Will assumed.

"Eh, better to be early," Joel said.

"Right, while we wait, let's go over our plan again."'

Will explained everything to them about what they had planned yesterday night.

"And we all have done research on the Sweepers?" Will asked.

Chief nodded. "Already done."

"No stone left unturned with those things," Logan added.

"Eh, I've seen worse," Joel shrugged it off.

"Those things are almost an equivalent to a Brute, Joel, I'll have you know," Will reminded him. "You remember what the Brutes did to the Spartans?"

"You guys are earlier than me," a familiar voice said.

They looked to see Tifa standing in front of the stairs.

"Morning," the Chief and Blue Team greeted.

"So, everyone's ready for today?" she asked.

"Born ready," Logan replied.

"More like made ready," Joel remarked.

Tifa chuckled. "Enthusiasm. I like that."

"Helps with how things are as a Spartan," Logan said.

Everyone went into the bar as Tifa turned on the lights. Will put his portable laptop on the table. The drone then handed a small drive device to Logan. "This contains the virus. Thankfully it won't take too long to get into the systems of the broadcast station."

"Right. Are we going to wait for the others to arrive though?"

"It's still early in the morning, so I'd say we can wait just a bit," Joel said.

As if on cue, Barrett stormed into the bar while Cloud calmly walked past him.

"DId I miss anything y'all?!" Barrett exclaimed.

"They're still here, relax," Cloud told him.

At that moment, Jessie, Biggs and Wedge arrived at the bar too.

"Thank goodness, we're not late," Jessie said.

"What're you doing?" Biggs asked Will as he typed on a laptop device with a holographic screen.

"Hooking up to Logan's helmet HUD. This way we can see how Logan is doing from here on this laptop device," the drone explained. "Right. I'm in your HUD now Logan. Can you try and move around your head?" Logan did as he was told. "Right."

Wedge looked in awe. "Cool…"

"This is something Shinra can do," Biggs said.

"If only Avalanche have techs like this," Jessie added as she and the two looked at Logan's helmet and back again at the holographic screen.

Hours had passed. It was time for Blue Team to enact their plan. Logan had a cloak put on to him to avoid looking suspicious.

"Are you sure I don't look even more suspicious wearing a cloak like this?" Logan asked.

"Not to worry. There's a rumor about how strange men in black cloaks roaming about in MIdgard," Will explained.

"Sh*t," the gunslinger swore. "Weirdest thing I've heard all day."

"Just need to make a few more adjustments with the settings HUD and…alright, you're good to go Logan."

"Thanks Will. Wish me luck everyone!" Logan said as he walked right to the door.

"Good luck," Tifa, Joel, Jessie and Biggs said.

"Try not to get cocky out there," Barrett told him.

"You can do it!" Wedge cheered.

"Godspeed private," Chief said while Cloud only nodded.

Logan saluted. "Thank you everyone! I'll do my best!"

The armored First Class Private went out the door.

"I've marked your destination. You need only follow the mark, Blue 5," Will said through the comms.

"Affirmative Watcher 1."

"If there's any problem 5, you can return to the bar."

"No problem Watcher, out here."

Minutes pass by as Logan arrives at the broadcast station. "This is Blue 5 to Watcher. I'm here."

"Lose the cloak and get in. Don't let them see you."

"Roger Watcher 1. Blue 5 going dark."

Logan activated his active camo and began climbing up the walls to a window.

"Whoa, he just turned invisible!" Wedge said.

"It's called active camouflage. The Sangheili you saw from the clips, use it a lot of times. But after we made a truce with them, the humans and Sangheili began trading technology with one another," Will explained.

Logan finally got in the building through the window. Fortunately, the window was large enough for him to get through. He began finding the room to which to broadcast the news.

"Go one floor down. Once you go down one floor, turn right and left. You'll be able to see a room called the "Broadcast Room". It's not too far."

Logan followed Will's direction. It won't be too long now…

"Right, he's in. Time to hack into the systems," Will said as he began typing.

Barrett, Jessie, Wedge and Barrett cheered while Tifa smiled with relief.

Cloud nodded. "Good so far."

"You guys want to know a fun fact? Logan isn't actually good with stealth. It ain't his forte," Joel revealed.

"WHAT?!" they all said while Cloud only widened his eyes a bit.

"But he's doing a good job so far," Wedge said.

"It goes to show how capable he is. And this isn't one of his best," Will explained.

"Please, I'm not even one of the best,"

"What's his other best feats?" Cloud asked.

"A lot. But that's for another time."

"So far so good," Logan said as he waited. Suddenly the door to the room opened as the Private immediately activated his active camo. "Why now?"

"Blue 5, do everything you can to distract him. Do not kill him. I'm almost done."

"Rog."

Logan looked around him as he saw the male employee working. Well, guess he'll have to do this. He snuck up behind the employee quietly as he knocked him out. He placed his unconscious body on a chair, near the door. Logan then found a newspaper and put it over his face to make it look like he was sleeping.

"Sorry pal, sweet dreams."

"Alright, I'm done. Get the drive. It's time for exfil. And don't forget your cloak."

"Affirmative Watcher."

He grabbed the drive, activated his camo and got out of there.

"Alright, we just need to wait a few more minutes until the busy hour," Will said as he continued typing.

"Once we do this, there ain't no going back," Joel told them all. "Coz this is definitely gonna shake Midgard."

Barrett gave a humph. "We can take it."

"Coz Avalanche won't get down that easily!" Jessie said enthusiastically.

"Yeah, and with you guys here, nothing can stop us," Wedge added.

Joel smiled before giving them a thumbs up before turning to Chief. "Remind you of the Marines Chief?"

"The fire is there," he said.

"You missed them? I know I would. I mean those greenhorns fought the Covies like it was a beautiful Tuesday."

"Who wouldn't?"

"Watcher 1 this is Blue 5. Exfil successful, heading back to HQ. ETA is two minutes."

"Bravo Zulu, Blue 5."

"Right! TIme to show the world the truth!" Barrett exclaimed happily.

"Now, time to use my recorded footage. Get ready everyone."

An hour later.

"It's in an uproar now. At least Sector 7 is here is alright, even with a little bit of arguing here and there," Will nonchalantly said. "This is to be expected."

"No kidding," Biggs said.

After the Will revealed the footage of how Shinra purposefully blew up their own reactor, almost the entirety of Midgard were in an uproar. Arguments immediately erupted from those that supported Shinra and those that were against Shinra.

"Not to worry, it's safe to go outside. I explained in my video, specifically, that there are employees that are as much a victim as the citizens in Midgard and that they have families that are unaware of everything that happened."

"You thought of everything," Cloud said.

"Will is right. The families have nothing to do with this. We take the fight to the ones that are behind this mess," Logan explained. "I still hope the families are okay though."

Chief puts his hand on Logan's shoulder. "They will."

"No doubt those innocent employees and their families are having to go through something tough," Joel said solemnly. "I mean, I know I would. Reminds me of those poor Reds, Blues and Freelancer folks. They've been lied to almost their entire lives by that pathetic director."

"What happened to them?" Tifa asked.

"Reds and Blues folks were told that they were going to be either soldiers or marines fighting in the field. Turns out they were going to be Spartans wearing cheaper armor that are going to help train the Freelancer folks.

"In other words, they are made to become simulation troopers," Chief said.

"That's terrible," Tifa said.

"What's worse is the Reds and Blues folks didn't know that. They were drilled into their heads that either side is the enemy. And so began the Red vs Blue."

"Not even our simulation troopers were treated that bad in Shinra," Cloud said.

"What happened to them?" Barrett asked.

"Oh, they're doing fine now. In fact-"

"Apologies for cutting in, but it's time for Joel, Chief and Logan to begin their mission," Will told everyone. "Stories will have to come later."

"Sorry folks. When we have the time, yeah?" Joel said. "Now? It's time for some action."

"I contacted Jubilant. He's prepared a Warthog right outside of Sector 7 near the desert."

"You mean near the desert?" Logan asked.

"Where else?"

"Alright, Chief? You want dibs on the wheels?"

"On it," Chief nodded.

"I'll be on turret and Joel is on passenger."

Minutes later, the three walked out of the bar with Will already connecting Joel and Chief's HUD on his laptop's screen. It's time to do this.

"Blue 5 to Blue Team, intel is secured, I repeat, intel is secured," Logan said through the comms as he ran for the exit. "Heading to exfil now."

Outside, Chief and Joel already took down numerous Sweepers and received the message they got from.

"Copy Blue 5."

"Chief, another one!" Joel yelled.

He dodged just in time as a Sweeper was charging at him. Not wanting to waste his time with the military automaton, he pulled out the Spartan Laser and shot it towards the Sweeper, destroying it immediately. Chief and Joel ran to the exit as the doors were closing. Before it could close completely, Chief and Joel slid on top of the ground, gaining momentum and got out of the base as the doors closed.

"Warthog now!" Chief ordered.

"Solid copy Actual," Logan said through the comms.

Back at Seventh Heaven, everyone stared in awe while Will looked on, nodding his head in approval of their mission being successful.

"They just…just…" Biggs stuttered.

"Plow through those Sweepers like it was nothing!" Wedge finished his sentence.

"How good are these guys?!" Barrett exclaimed.

"Looks like Cloud's got competition here," Jessie said.

"Hmm," was the only thing Cloud muttered while he nodded.

"Maybe they can teach you a few tricks up their sleeves," Tifa said as she placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Was there ever any doubt with them? This is nothing but Mondays for them," Will remarked.

Barrett looked on, now with not awe, but with determination. With these guys on their side, they are going to save this planet. He knows they will. It's only a matter of time before Shinra goes down.

AN: And that is it guys, I hope you guys like it. And now I shall return to hopefully make YouTube videos XD. It's gonna be a while before I continue this Halo and FF7: Remake story ideas again. Now, the next part is the part where Tifa and Cloud goes around Sector 7 helping people out with their things. Now...I'm a little bit confused on which member of Blue Team do I want, to follow Cloud and Tifa around. Chief? Well...he won't be able to do too much, aside from probably scaring the residents of the sector of his gigantic size. He's also not too social but it'll be funny to write though XD. Joel and Logan may be a bit of a help? The two are the social ones. Will on the other hand? He'll definitely be able to help but I'm thinking of having Will go with Barrett, Jessie, Wedge and Biggs to the main Avalanche hideout to mend their relationship with them. And speaking of, when Cloud falls down on the church, I'm also thinking of having either one of Blue Team fall down with Cloud as well but again, I don't know which one.

I think that's all there is to it. Please give me constructive feedback and constructive criticism, and don't be afraid to tell me which parts of the story I need to improve. This is Samuel Loegan saying, thanks for reading and I'll see you in the next chapter! Goodbye!
