Darkness and light, death and life:

Faced each other in combat. Who would win? Life was pure truth and glory and light, but darkness was pure evil.

The dragon tried so hard to kill life, oh, how he wanted the Kings beloved creation to suffer with him! So sick and evil! He wanted to have the throne for himself. Could purity win against evil?

But life, life had a flame of his own. He was all goodness and joy and fought for justice. Life wanted the creation him and the King and the Spirit made to be with them forever, for all eternity. Did life not know who would choose him? He most certainly did! But his heart still broke at the lost souls sent to the kingdom of darkness by their own Choosing. They were already in the kingdom of darkness and many didn't want life andlight anyway.

Pure flames rose in lifes eyes as he thought about all the suffering death had inflicted. Babies were being murdered, and truth was being discarded. Violence was taking place all throughout the land, and the institution of marriage was being shoved aside for promiscuousness. It was a holy anger, just and pure and well deserved. Life had died, and sacrificed himself at the hands of deaths followers to save them from their old Waze. Life and the King loved them with an everlasting deep love that was eternal and would go on even after time ended. Death, on the other hand was selfish. He wanted evil treasures for himself and desired the throne. He would stop at nothing to get it! His fire was pure evil, evil fire, which burned in hatred for mankind.

His eyes stared at life with undisguised hatred. Life's face was just and calm. "What have I to do with You, Prince of Light?" Death snarled in the true Princes face.

"You are just an imposter," Life said quietly.

"Oh, am I?" Death sneered. "I have known Your games. And I don't play them! You want rules…"

"You're talking about playing games, Death?" Life cried in true anger. His face began to be covered in lightning, light and flame coming from His eyes. Pain and heartbreak filled His heart at all the souls that had been deceived by Death.

"You talk about games? What do you play? Taking all that's good, all that's good and holy and pure—and twist it all!" Life rose like a tall oak tree, strong and sturdy, unafraid at what Death might throw at Him. Life stared into the eyes of Death unflinching. Death rose like a tall wall, hard and impenetrable. Scales covered his face and life knew him for who he was—the dragon of death and evil. Long claws extended from his hands, they were curved and cruel, tipped with poison. He was truly ugly and hideous to behold. Flames fell from his fang-filled mouth. Ugly wings sprouted from his back.

And life stared into the eyes of the monster, and He didn't flinch. He did not back down, nor did he cower; He was Himself.

The Author of Life, the Son of God, the King of all kings there ever will be and the Lord of all lords. He was Jesus Christ.

He rose like a mighty ship on the waves. His hands spread wide, his chin held aloft.

"You talk about games," boomed Life. "And what kind of games do you play, prince of darkness? You, who murder babies in the womb. You, who twist families. You, who cause people to follow your lies! And you're talking about games? You want to know what kind of game I play? None!" Roared Life. "I don't play any games with My people. For I am open and transparent. They know Me and love Me for who I am and who my Father is. They love us for who we are. And even if they don't get all in this life, even if they lose everything…they know where they will be in the end. And you, Death, don't offer your people goodness. You don't offer them life. Instead, you promise them all now. And what do they get in the end? Where do they end up? In hell!" Life screamed in rage and tears. "You have twisted Our design and you want to make it your own. You have so ruthlessly tried to work against me and my Father for millennia now, and what have you achieved?"

"Look at what I have achieved!" Roared death, flames of evil spilling from his mouth. "I have gotten more people on my side then You have on Yours! I have gotten people to live a little. I have gotten people to do whatever they'd like, no obligations."

"Is that so?" Life whispered quietly. "No obligations, just untempered freedom?"

"Absolutely!" Death cried. "They can have everything they'd possibly want…just let me have their souls!" He bared his poisonous fangs like a snake. "They can have whatever they'd like," Death whispered slyly. "Just let me have their souls."

"And where do they end up?" Life cried in anger. "To hell! What have you done?"

Life pulled out His glowing sword and moved towards Death, righteous anger on His face. He then towered over the dragon, lightning and holiness covering his face. Death moved as well, claws extended. His tale whipped around and held life in place. Life blocked all Death's attacks with ease, blocking the devils poison.

"I will get Your people!" He snarled.

"You will not have my true ones," Life stated with authority. "Your claws will not get into them any longer! Your temptations and lies will never win against My own!"

"They are mine!" Death shrieked in rage. With talons extended he lunged for Life. Life was quicker however. Dodging the grasping talons, he moved backwards, glowing sword of the Word of God at the ready.

"Your people are lost," Life said sadly to Death. "Very lost. Even after trying to get them back on the right path, your lies still win them. You will suffer for your crimes against Me and my Father! You will never truly win. You know we are greater than you could ever be. Wanting the throne for yourself made you proud, Death of darkness. You managed to get your claws and poison into every facet of society—you ruined the family dynamic, you infiltrated schools with your lies, and gotten the modern church to have false doctrines running rampant. What you failed to realize however…"

Life put His sword at the back of Death's neck. Death tried one more attack but power from Life flowed and caused Death to fall to his knees unwillingly.

"What you've failed to realize, is that we've got a remnant. We've also got people on our side who are unapologetically willing to speak the truth. Who don't bend to your lies and deceit. And you, Death of darkness, are going to suffer the consequences of your treachery. You will get justice."

And before Death could even blink, the glowing sword of Life, the Word of God had cut off Death's head.

Life had killed the dragon.

Death's soul was swallowed up in flames.

The flames of hell.

Life stood there, genuine sorrow on His face for all the people Death had deceived. However, His love did not negate His justice. Life knew that He would have to bring justice to all of Death's followers.

Because He was the Son of God, and He was strong. He did not bow to the system. Was He not King? He was! And Him and the people under His care would be free forever and live happily ever after, free from the dragon known as Death. And life was also glad.
