A/N: Finally, we have the 2nd chapter of the story. Before we begin, the reason I came up with the characters and respective actors aside from Ally Brody (Ashley Johnson) is because after seeing the '98 version of Godzilla, I wanted to make better versions of these characters. For example, Alan Tatopoulos (Bruce Boxleitner) is sure to be a better version of the original '98 version's Nick Tatopoulos (not counting the GTS counterpart of him, of course). And there will also be Tony Timmonds (Ernie Hudson), a definitively better version of Audrey Timmonds (Maria Pitillo) character-wise. But what I don't quite know as of yet is how to better introduce him in the next chapter. Like, as the head of the News? Or a news reporter? But we'll talk about that later. For now, enjoy this chapter in which there are a couple of surprise references. And in this one, Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa would portray the pilot named Sasuke Tachibana, Kimiko Glenn would portray a girl named Noriko Tachibana, Sasuke's daughter (seeing as in 1998, she'd be a child), and of course, James Hong (who voiced not only Mr. Ping in the Kung Fu Panda franchise, but also Dr. Serizawa in the 1956 classic, "Godzilla: King of the Monsters") would voice one of Odo Island's natives.

Chapter 1: "Welcome Home, Daddy"; Big Birthday Brawl on Odo Island!

Meanwhile, on San Francisco, an aircarrier's trunk opened up. In the trunk were several returning soldiers and Ford Brody was one of them.

"On your feet!", a man shouted.

With that, Ford and the other soldiers stood up as one of them turned to him.

"You got family waiting for you?", a soldier asked.

"I hope so.", Ford replied.

"How long you been away?"

"Fourteen months.", Ford replied, grabbing his backpack.

"Take it slow. It's the one thing they don't train you for.", the soldier warned.

"All right! Let's go!", the man called.

ODO ISLAND

Meanwhile, on a fairly cloudy day with the sun shining down, a small airplane was making its way toward the island. Inside said plane were Sandra, a young teenage woman who held a small , and a Japanese pilot heading for said island.

"Whoa... Mom, is that...?", the young woman began.

"Yep. Ally, welcome to Odo Island.", Sandra spoke to her daughter.

"Hey, did you hear that, buddy? We're gonna land in Odo Island!", Ally beamed.

"Ah-ah-ah, not yet, we aren't.", Sandra said.

"Aw, man... Why not?", Ally asked.

The pilot then activated the COM system and spoke to the command center in Japanese.

「こちらは橘サスケです。母1人、娘1人、そしてペットのイグアナの3人の乗客の着陸許可を求めます。聞こえますか?」 ("This is Sasuke Tachibana, requesting permission to land for three passengers; one mother, one daughter, and her pet iguana. Do you copy?")

The men at the command center heard this with one of them broadcasting a message in reply.

「こちらはオド島管制センターです。着陸許可が出ました。」("This is the Odo Island Control Center. You are clear for landing.")

Sandra then turned to Ally.

"Okay. Now, we're landing in Odo Island.", Sandra grinned.

"Yes! Just think, little guy. We could make it big in New York, one of these days.", Ally spoke excitedly.

With that, the plane zoomed past a Monarch agent.

"That's affirmative.", said agent spoke over the walkie talkie.

The plane landed in the airway, touching down on the ground. Once there, the Japanese crewmen gathered as Sasuke, Sandra, and Ally all got out with Ally holding her pet Iguana as they climbed down the ladder placed on the side of the plane by the staff just as a young Japanese girl shouted and rushed over excitedly while calling out.

「おい!アリー!」("Hey! Ally!")

Ally turned with a gasp of excitement and saw the girl rushing to her.

"Noriko!", Ally shouted before happily rushing over to her and hugging her just as she returned the gesture.

「ちょっと、そこ!」 ("Hey, there!"), Ally spoke with a giggle to Noriko.

"Happy Birthday, Ally.", Noriko grinned.

"Aw..., Thanks, Noriko. I appreciate it.", Ally grinned as Sasuke and Sandra happily watched.

Then, Noriko took notice of Ally's pet.

"Is that your pet?", Noriko asked.

"Yeah. It's a marine iguana. Don't know what name to give him, though.", Ally responded.

Just then, a voice called out as the source walked towards Sandra, Sasuke, Ally, and Noriko.

"I heard that today's a special day for you.", Alan spoke, walking forwards.

"Dr. Tatopoulos...!", Sasuke said in surprise.

"Alan.", Sandra said.

"Hey, Alan. What's up?", Ally greeted.

"I thought you were off doing work?", Sandra puzzled.

"Well, not yet. I'm here on a day off. And today is that day.", Alan replied.

"That's great. I just wish Dad could be here.", Ally said.

"Yeah, me, too, sweetie. Me, too. But we are going to do a bit a video chat later tonight with your big brother, Ford.", Sandra replied.

"Oh, that's right! Isn't he returning to San Francisco today? He's been gone for a year and two months now.", Ally realized.

"Mm-hmm.", Sandra nodded.

"Noriko. Why don't you and your friend play for a while?", Sasuke suggested.

"Okay, Daddy.", Noriko nodded.

Then, Noriko went off to play as Sasuke spoke to Ally.

"Hey. Make sure she's safe.", Sasuke warned.

"Hai.", Ally nodded before she turned and ran after Noriko.

"Hey! Wait for me, Nori!", Ally shouted.

"Your daughter's a good kid, Mrs. Brody.", Sasuke said.

"So's yours, Mr. Tachibana.", Sandra said.

Now, Ally and Noriko happily played a few japanese games together. Among them were the famous game of Hide-and-seek and Daruma-san (Red light, green light). At both instances, Ally made certain that Noriko was safe. After one near-incident where Noriko nearly fell off a cliff only to be stopped by her shirt being grabbed by the back of it by Ally, she turned to Ally after seeing the edge of the cliff.

"Thank you, Ally.", Noriko thanked.

"You're welcome. Although, I think we should try something else. Something that isn't very high up?", Ally suggested.

"Okay.", Noriko agreed before heading away from the cliff.

When they got to the dock, though, as the two were seeing the fish from above, Ally saw some fish pop up in the ocean and move along the waters, only they looked as though they have something stuck in their mouths and appeared to be dead.

"What's with those fish?", Ally asked as Noriko became frightfully worried upon seeing the deep sea fish.

"Oh. Those are deep-sea fish.", one of the natives spoke.

"Huh? Deep-sea fish?", Ally asked.

"That's right. Whenever we see those fish, that's how you know he's here.", the native said.

"Mm-hmm.", Noriko nodded in a slight panic.

"How you know who's here?", Ally asked.

"What...? You seriously don't know? Why, Gojira, of course! Or, as you Americans call him...", the native said.

"Godzilla...?", Ally asked.

"Hai! That's right. He'll come later tonight, and when he does, let's just say you don't want to be in the business end of his atomic breath. Hmm?", the native said.

"Uh, okay. I'll try to remember that.", Ally assured as the native walked away.

Then, Ally realized something.

"Hey...! I think I know what to call you now.", Ally grinned, turning to the pet iguana on her shoulder.

On their way back home, the two girls were playing tag with one another, a game Ally had no doubt introduced Noriko to. But as the two played, Ally was the first to notice some natives preparing for some sort of interpretive dance, masks and all.

"Whoa...", Ally said in awe. "What could they be doing?"

"Oh, they're getting ready for the dance.", Noriko replied.

"Really? What kind is it?", Ally asked.

"Oh, I can't tell you. It's a surprise.", Noriko replied.

"Well, if you say so.", Ally responded.

Time passed, and soon, she and Noriko, along with Sandra, Sasuke, his wife, Sumiko, and Alan were gathered around as the dancers were now doing a sort of ritualistic dance (one that the natives insisted on, of course), especially with a birthday song in their native language, even with the children singing as well, as the cook brought out a birthday cake while everyone else sang in Japan as well.

「うれし な きょう わ。

たなし な きょう わ。

アリー、たんじょうび おめでとう

おうた を うたいましょう。」

(I'm happy today,

I'm having fun today.

Let's sing a happy birthday song, Ally.)

As the song continued, Ally, surprised, turned to Noriko.

"Is that for me, Nori...?!", Ally asked excitedly.

"Mm-hmm.", Noriko nodded.

Ally could only gasp, touched by the gesture, before she and Noriko hugged one another.

"Oh, thank you so much, Noriko...!", Ally thanked, on the verge of tears.

Granted, she sniffled for a bit out of joy before she and Noriko finished their hug.

"You didn't have to do that...", Ally said, barely managing to keep her composure.

"I wanted to.", Noriko responded.

"We wanted to make this special for you.", Noriko's mother added.

"Aw... Domo arigato, Mrs. Tachibana.", Ally grinned.

"And guess what? You get to blow the candles and make a wish.", Sandra said.

Ally grinned to her mother.

"Okay.", Ally grinned.

She then blew out 15 candles on her cake, earning cheers and claps from everyone.

"Thanks, guys. I never knew I'd be so well-loved here.", Ally thanked.

"Well, we are all aware of your condition and... well, we wanted to be there to support you.", Alan responded.

"Still, thanks. Again, though, if only Dad was here with us...", Ally said.

This reminded Alan of something.

"Oh! That reminds me. Your mother and I helped come up with something a while back while we're there.", Alan said.

"Really? What is it?", Ally asked.

"Well, you just have to go to the village and find out.", Alan said, leading the way.

"Well, it would be a surprise if the village had electricity, so, all right.", Ally said, following him as well as Sandra, Sasuke, his wife, and Noriko, their daughter.

When they got to their rental home, Ally was surprised to find both a laptop and a webcam in her room.

"What's this doing in my room?", Ally asked, only earning a grin from Alan and Sandra.

Seeing this, that gave Ally some idea.

"Wait... You mean that... That this is my...?", Ally began.

Alan nodded in reply.

"No...! No, you didn't!", Ally said in surprise.

"Well, technically, your mother did.", Alan said.

"We had a little talk, earlier and thought you could use some bit of cheering up, being able to talk with your Dad again.", Sandra said.

"Aw, thanks for the gift, guys.", Ally thanked.

"But you need a test run to be sure, first.", Sasuke suggested.

"Do you know who we could try talking to?", Alan asked.

"Well, I might have some idea...", Ally grinned.

SAN FRANCISCO

Meanwhile, it's sunset in San Francisco. At home, Ford's son, Sam, and his wife, Elle, decided to surprise him.

"I can't tell you.", Sam said.

"Can I see it?", Ford asked.

"Don't let him see, don't let him see.", Elle spoke to Sam.

But Sam showed Ford both what he and Elle prepared for him, a chocolate cake with vanilla frosted writing on it that says, "Welcome Home, Daddy" on it, and a laptop with a live video message of Ally waving to him.

"Ta-da!", Ally waved.

"Whoa. Oh, my God.", Ford said in surprise.

"It's a welcome home cake.", Elle explained.

"And this is a live video message.", Ally added.

"Oh, my God, look at that.", Ford said, pleasantly surprised.

"That's you. And that's me.", Sam said.

"Aw, that looks so sweet, Sam.", Ally grinned.

"Thank you, Aunt Ally.", Sam grinned.

"You're welcome, nephew Sammy.", Ally grinned.

"What's it say?", Ford asked.

"'Welcome home, Daddy.'", Sam replied.

"Daddy's home.", Ford began.

"Daddy's home.", Elle repeated.

"Cake every night.", Ford said.

"Yeah, that's not happening.", Elle chuckled.

"Daddy's home equals... ...cake every night.", Ford said.

"Yeah, I don't think anyone should have cake every night. Not unless they either move around a lot, or get big and tired, like...", Ally joked, making a snoring sound and making Sam laugh a bit as Elle noticed that Sam had some chocolate on one of his eyes.

"How did you manage to get chocolate on your eyeball?", Elle asked, wiping said chocolate off him.

"Daddy did it.", Sam responded.

"Heh.", Elle chuckled.

"こんにちは。" ("Hello."), Noriko waved in the camera.

"Oh. Right. Ford, Elle, Sammy, meet Noriko. She's a friend I met in Odo Island. Since she's at least a year older than Sammy, I figured that she'd be good friends with you guys.", Ally explained.

"Hi, Noriko.", Sam greeted.

"Hi, Sammy.", Noriko responded.

"And Elle, those are her parents. Sasuke and Sumiko Tachibana.", Ally introduced.

"こんにちは。" ("Hello."), the two parents greeted with a wave.

"Hello, Sasuke, Sumiko.", Elle greeted back.

"And this is my pet iguana, Zilla Jr. I've picked this guy up from the Galapagos at one time. Or rather, he seemed to be interested in me. Either that, or my bag of chips did the trick. You already heard about my mom. And Alan.", Ally added, gesturing to her mother and Alan next as her pet iguana was evidently seen burrowing into one of her open chip bags.

"Maybe you should consider closing your snack bag so he doesn't sneak in. And by the way, Elle, it's Dr. Tatopoulos. Nice to meet you.", Alan said.

"So, how were things going with you guys lately?", Ally asked.

"We made a welcome home cake for Daddy.", Sam replied.

"Aw, you did? Auntie's so proud of you, Sammy.", Ally grinned.

"We made a cake for Ally.", Noriko added.

"Whoa, you, too?", Elle asked.

"I know, right? I mean, I know it's my birthday, but... let's just say that they definitely had me in the feels.", Ally grinned with a bit of a chuckle.

Some time later, Sam was giggling upon being tickled.

"I can't sleep with you making all this noise. Come on, let's get you into bed.", Ford said.

"Okay, big man. Time to hit the rack.", Ford said before kissing him good night and leaving.

"Dad?", Sam asked.

"Yeah?", Ford asked, turning to him.

"Are you still gonna be here tomorrow?", Sam asked.

"Yeah. Come on, let's get some sleep.", Ford responded, turning off the lights and closing the door.

Moments later, Elle and Ally, still on live video chat, were both laughing as Ford spoke.

"Turns around, nose-to-nose, he says, 'At ease, lieutenant.'", Ford spoke, making Elle laugh.

"That really happened?", Ally laughed.

Ford sat down with her, giving a laugh of his own.

"God, I missed your laugh.", Ford said.

"I missed you.", Elle responded.

"I just wish I could've been here to see you get back home safe and sound, Ford... Or at the very least, to have you on Odo Island with us. Whichever way would've had me see you here in person. Really.", Ally said.

After a moment, Ford set down his drink and the two started to kiss, making Ally yelp a bit as she moved back.

"Okay, you two. Could you warn me the next time you do something like that? I know you two are married but still...", Ally said.

Suddenly, the phone rang.

"Huh?"

"I should get that. No, it could be work. I need to get that.", Elle spoke to Ford, reaching for the phone.

"You don't need to. Come on.", Ford only responded.

But Elle managed to get up and answer the phone.

"Never thought I'd see a girl turn that down just to help get the phone.", Ally said.

"Hello? Yeah, this is Mrs. Brody.", Elle said.

"Tell him you're busy tending to your husband's needs.", Ford only said as he set his plate of food down on the counter before she shushed him.

"Yeah, he's my husband. And she's my sister-in-law.", Elle grinned.

"Wait, why are you bringing me into this for?", Ally asked.

"Tell them we're not gonna buy it.", Ford said.

But slowly, Elle's grin changed into a bit of worry.

"Yes, sir. Could you just hold on one moment?", Elle said before moving the phone away from her ear and putting her hand over the speaker.

"It's the consulate. Joe's been arrested in Japan.", Elle said.

"Aw, man...!", Ally groaned, indicating that it wasn't exactly the first time that this happened.

Moments later, Ford was searching through his drawers.

"Elle, I can't find my pants.", Ford called, going to his closet.

"They're in the other drawer.", Elle assured as he went for said drawer.

"So why was he trespassing in the quarantine zone?", Elle asked, bringing the laptop with Ally's live web cam message active with her.

"Ugh. Why do you think? The lone crusader for the truth. All his crackpot cuckoo theories.", Ford said in slight disgust.

"Hey, some of these crackpot theories have some truth to them. That's partly why Mom and I are here on Odo Island. Not just for my birthday, but... for some investigations on certain clues. Let's leave it at that.", Ally retorted.

"Your father is a good man. He just needs your help right now. Ford, he's lost almost everything.", Elle said.

"And he's been on edge about it ever since the incident 9 months before I was even born.", Ally added.

"Yeah, but we didn't lose Mom. And you know what? I got over it.", Ford responded.

"Right. I can see that.", Elle responded before Ford sighed.

"I don't think that was a good call.", Ally said.

"I'm sorry. It's just... Every time I let him in close, he always tries to drag me back. And I can't. I can't put our family through that.", Ford apologized whilst explaining.

"Well, he is your family.", Elle assured.

"Actually, wouldn't he be a part of our family?", Ally asked.

Nevertheless, Ford sighed a bit.

"Hey. Come here. You know you're only gonna be gone for a few days, right? And then you are gonna come back to me.", Elle said.

"Yeah. Yeah.", Ford agreed before he and Elle kissed.

"It's not the end of the world.", Elle said before Ford sighed.

"Okay. Well, nice talking to you guys. I'll see you tomorrow at some point, okay? Good night.", Ally said before ending the live message.

Back at Odo Island, moments later, Ally, Sandra, Alan, and Sasuke were investigating the damaged area.

"So, I was told by Dr. Serizawa that a ship was attacked out in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean. But there's more to it than that, isn't there?", Alan asked.

"Yes. Something like that. And I'm sure he believes it, too.", Sasuke replied.

"And it might have something to do with whatever made that gigantic footprint.", Alan said.

"Wait. There's a big footprint? Where is it.", Ally asked a bit excitedly.

"Here's a hint: you're standing in it.", Alan said.

Ally looked down and saw for herself that she was, in fact, standing in a foot print.

"No way...!", Ally said in awe.

"Incredible, huh, Ally?", Sandra asked.

"Now, as far as we know, the survivor of the wreckage in the South Pacific Ocean called the monster that attacked the ship, 'Gojira' and I want to know why this attack happened. If he's talking about who I think he was, what could've set him off so far as to unleash a provoked attack like that?", Alan asked.

"That's what we're trying to figure out.", Sasuke replied as both Ally and Sandra saw several deep sea fish turning up like before at the docks, puzzling Sandra.

"All I know right now is that the radiation from any sample of this is off the charts. And given the behavior we studied from this Titan so far, he never attacked unless provoked. What we need to know now is..., what provoked him this time?", Alan asked.

Just then, the alarm began to flare at a consistent sound pitch, causing the villagers to worry as they saw Sasuke's staff rush out to him.

"Get the guns!", Sasuke called to his men, who have rushed over to him and the others.

"Yes, sir!", one of the men complied before he and the others went to retrieve said weapons.

"Roger!"

"What's going on?", Ally asked.

"I don't know!", one of the men shouted.

"What do you mean?", Sasuke asked.

"We can't see, it's too dark!", another added.

"Is it Gojira?", Sasuke asked.

But then, a thunderous crashing sound and a sort of monstrous, yet unfamiliar growl was heard.

"No. Something worse...", Alan responded.

"Taki! Taki! Get a light on this!", Sasuke shouted.

"Roger!"

Taki, on the search light podium, then turned the search light on and turned it towards the source. But when he did, he was surprised to discover a gigantic, slim monster with a dense iridescent, grayish-black hide. Its head was flat and elongated, and is generally featureless aside from two red visor-like eyes. It also had jaws filled with dagger-like teeth that are supported by exo-mandibles that form a sort of hooked beak, and possessed long and slender hind limbs that are digitigrade in structure, with flat, broad feet ending in two hoof-like toes, not to mention wings. It roared upon being spotted before then smacking the ground with a thump, unleashing a shockwave that cut off all the power within its spreading radius, shutting everything, even the search light, down.

"Not good. The power's down.", Sandra said.

It gave the creature an opportunity head toward the tower, much to Taki's worry, and then smash it into pieces, sending him flying in the process before roaring.

"Taki!", one of the men gasped.

"Taki-san...", another gasped.

Play Alexandre Desplat Music: "Godzilla!"

"What the hell is that thing?", Sasuke asked.

"My guess? The culprit that sent our monster on a frenzied patrol across the South Pacific Ocean.", Alan replied.

"Then, I think it might be a matter of time before Godzilla arrives.", Ally responded.

"What?", Sasuke asked.

"While Noriko and I were playing, one of the locals told us that when deep sea fish float like today, Godzilla's near.", Ally explained.

Just then, a low, guttural growl was heard, like back at the South Pacific Ocean.

"Speak of the Devil...", Sandra said.

"Sounds like he's back home. And he is not gonna be happy about what that thing's done to the place.", Alan spoke.

True to his word, something arose from the water as it walked and moved closer towards land, prompting Alan and the others to dodge his 3-taloned foot. There stood a 355 feet tall bipedal reptilian creature with 89 small, straight, sharp, maple-leaf shaped large dorsal spines running down his back. His face was more square, his neck was broad, and he even had gills. His eyes were small with a golden-yellow color, and his teeth were also relatively small and far less straightly lined up. The head and neck tended to lean forward more and the nostrils are more separate, being located on opposite sides of the snout, creating a more reptilian appearance as opposed to the more mammalian fashion. His claws were black and larger, and his feet were wider, resembling that of an elephant. His skin is far more crocodilian-like, and rougher with a very dark gray (almost black) color. His body and tail are very wide as well. After seeing the perpetrator responsible, as people watched, he stepped forward closer to the creature by a foot and then... he roared with a shriek!

"ROAAAAARRRR!"

At that moment, someone near the bell, the native who spoke with Ally and Noriko before, saw him through binoculars.

"So, it's true!"

Hurriedly, the native started clanging the bell in a frenzy.

"GOJIRA! GOJIRA'S ON THE ISLAND!", the native shouted as he clanged the bell.

"We have to evacuate everyone, now!", Alan urged.

Realizing the potential danger everyone in the island could be, especially seeing as the villagers who are currently witnessing a potential monster battle with collateral damage, Sasuke turned to his men.

"GO! Evacuate!", Sasuke shouted before he and his men ran towards the island's natives.

"Go! Get them out of the village!", a man shouted.

"Now! Go!"

"We have to help them! Noriko and her family's in there!", Ally urged.

"I know, sweetie. We will.", Sandra assured before she and Ally ran in to help.

Meanwhile, the invader shrieked at Godzilla as he and the invading creature were beginning to brawl with one another. The lizard monster landed the first strike by means of a charge and a push toward his opponent. However, in the process, as Godzilla pushed, the creature managed to crawl onto his back, forcing the titan to try to remove the invader from him. In one of his attempts, while focused on trying to remove the invader, he inadvertently destroyed a house just as a family fled from it in a hurry, which was just as well as while everyone else evacuated the rest of the natives, Ally and Sandra caught up to the mother and daughter amidst the crowd.

"Nori! Are you okay?", Ally asked.

"Hai...!", Nori nodded.

"You two just stay with us. We'll help get you somewhere safe while we evacuate.", Sandra assured.

Meanwhile, Godzilla finally managed to tear the invader off his back and toss it at the ground. But in retaliation, the winged creature leapt out at Godzilla. He was ready, though, as he wasn't afraid to swipe his claws at him. He even managed to bite into one of its legs, suspending its flight. But that didn't mean that the winged creature was paralyzed. If anything, it was just as determined to loosen his grip on it, dragging Godzilla along for the ride. Eventually, Godzilla bit harder into it, and then tossed the invader toward the ground. Unfortunately, since it was near the evacuees when it landed, the impact caused the ground to quake, even causing both Ally and Noriko to be launched up and tumble toward its path, much to both mothers' worries, especially Alan's.

"Ally!", Sandra shouted.

"Noriko!", Mrs. Tachibana added.

They tried to go after them, but Alan stopped them.

"It's not safe here! For them, or for you!", Alan shouted.

Both girls got up in time to see the invading creature snarl as it turned its gaze to them. This worried them greatly. It only managed to stomp one of its legs near them, making them dodge before it and the girls turned and saw Godzilla charging something up as his dorsal plates glowed bright blue from the bottom of his tail to the top of his head as the sounds of whirring coming from the charge echoed, picking up in pitch, speed, and tempo. At the same time, Ally saw Alan up ahead as he ran there.

"Ally! Take Noriko with you and get out of here, now!", Alan shouted, gesturing to Ally the evacuees, Sasuke among the men helping with the evacuation, heading out behind Godzilla.

"We gotta go, Nori! Right now!", Ally shouted, dragging her by the arm before both ran.

But while they were running, Ally noticed how dangerously close Godzilla is to finishing up and firing, assuming that's what's gonna happen in her mind.

"Alan! Get ready to take her! I might not make it!", Ally shouted.

"ALLY!", Sandra shouted.

"ALLISON!", Mrs. Tachibana added with both her voice and Sandra's voices echoing.

For a moment, time seemed to slow down as right as Godzilla was about to fire, Ally pushed Noriko out ahead of her toward Alan before... ZAP!

End Alexandre Desplat Music: "Godzilla!"

"ROOOAAAAARRRR!"

With another roar (this time, much longer), Godzilla fired his atomic breath at the creature with a roar! But in the process, he unknowingly knocked Zilla Jr. off Ally's shoulder, singeing it by the back, and grazed her by the back, tearing through the jacket, though Noriko was thankfully unharmed.

"ALLY!", Alan shouted.

Meanwhile, the atomic breath was not only damaging the creature, but also driving it away, forcing it off the island. It was only a matter of time before the creature was forced to fly away from Odo Island. This earned the Titan's victorious roar as Noriko, Alan, Sandra, Mrs. Tachibana, and Ally, one of whom was barely able to lift herself up from the ground enough to see Godzilla, were in awe.

"ROAAAAARRRR!"

Godzilla then glanced toward the two children. Noriko whimpered as he stomped closer and lowered his body while moving his head close enough to them, much to Sandra and Mrs. Tachibana's concern. After a moment, however, Godzilla puffed his nostrils slightly and then proceeded to stomp toward the sea as Noriko and Ally's fears were turned into wonder. Once deep in the water enough, Godzilla laid on his belly and began to swim away, his body, and even the dorsal plates eventually getting completely covered in the ocean water, much to the two mothers' relief.

"Ally! Oh, Ally...!", Sandra panted as she ran to Ally before hugging her, making her groan a bit.

"Ngh...! Easy, there, Mom...! I just got grazed in the back...", Ally groaned.

"Allison...! Noriko...!", Mrs. Tachibana said while sobbing in joy and relief and hugging Noriko.

"I'm okay, Mommy.", Noriko grinned before turning to Ally. "Are you okay?"

"Agh...! Yeah... I think so. But barely... What happened back there just now?", Ally responded.

"I think Godzilla likes you.", Noriko said a bit jokingly.

"Really? But what have I done to...?!", Ally began.

But before she could finish her question, joking as it is, Ally groaned and moaned with a grunt and sharp inhale in slight pain as her back surged with the mark of a dorsal plates forming on her back and glowing just as blue as Godzilla's atomic breath before she started to grow. of course, it stopped after a few feet, both the surge and the pain from being grazed subsiding as everyone else around her stood in surprise.

"Whoa... Is it just me...? Or did I just grow a few feet?", Ally asked.

"Uh-huh.", Noriko nodded in surprise.

"Alan..., should we tell her?", Sandra asked.

"At this point, it'd be a big mistake not to.", Alan responded.

Ally saw Sandra and Alan's faces and was a bit perplexed.

"Okay, what's going on?", Ally asked before realizing something.

"Wait... Where's Zilla Jr.?", Ally asked, starting to look around for him.

Fortunately, she found him the marine iguana up and about, but barely, despite the light blue, glowing singe on his tail.

"Oh, there you are, little guy. Let me take care of that for ya.", Ally offered.

She then licked her index finger and thumb in order to put out the glow no problem, causing smoke to emanate from where the glowing singe used to be.

"Strangest birthday ever.", Ally said to herself.

Later, both Alan, Sandra, Ally, and Zilla Jr. were in a helicopter en route to Janira, Japan as they talked.

"So, that thing that Godzilla attacked... It was a MUTO?", Ally asked.

"One of two, actually. And these... MUTOs are cause for concern. The timing is suspect. You see, yesterday marked your 15th birthday 9 months after the already historic Janjira Power Plant incident. Since then, one of them was apparently discovered to be siphoning off the radiation it released when it burrowed deep beneath the power plant as it hibernates. As it stands now, obviously, killing it now would only release the radiation it siphoned off. And we can't take that risk. We've already stepped up security nationwide.", Alan said.

"Is that all?", Ally asked.

"There's more. During the incident, when your mother barely escaped, she was apparently irradiated by a small trace amount of radiation. When she gave birth, that radiation was apparently passed down to you, causing some kind of genetic mutation. When you grew a few more feet last night, it could be a sign. A sign that... when Godzilla's atomic breath grazed you, the radiation emitted from that triggered some kind of effect from your genetic mutation. At this very moment, it could be slowly, but surely, unleashing inside you what was already there. Whatever it is... And the fact that it proved to be non-lethal for you outside of a small trace amount on your mother's part is still unbelievable.", Alan said.

"You mean, 'crazy' unbelievable? Or 'amazing' unbelievable?", Ally asked.

"I like to think that it could be both. In any case, the untimely incident at the Janjira Power Plant, and now this strange attack that caught Godzilla's attention, have us on high alert.", Alan explained.

"Speaking of Godzilla, if he was after one of the MUTOs, why did he attack a ship in the South Pacific?", Ally asked.

"Because to him, it was in his direct path to the MUTO.", Sandra replied.

"Sounds like he didn't want to waste time.", Ally guessed as the helicopter landed with her, Sandra, Alan, and Zilla Jr. outside the helicopter and inside what used to be an old family home inside the quarantine zone in Janjira.

"You see that, Zilla? This is where Mom, Dad, and big bro Ford used to live.", Ally said, showing Zilla around for a bit.

"What are you going to do now?", Sandra asked.

"I'll report to Dr. Serizawa about our little skirmish in Odo Island. While I'm gone, I want you two to monitor the perimeter, prevent any unauthorized entry into the area.", Alan requested.

"Well..., okay. But after this, you need to explain how you know so much about whatever's going on with me. And all of... this, in general.", Ally said.

"Done.", Alan said, about to head back to the helicopter. "Oh, and one more piece of advice. Be vigilant. Both of you. We have to get to the bottom of this."

A/N: Looks like both Ally and Zilla Jr. have been unintentionally irradiated on Godzilla's part as he fought the invading MUTO on Odo Island. And she's starting to grow, too, as a result. By the way, for those who don't know, the attack scene was based off of both Godzilla's first appearance on Odo Island in the classic 1956 movie, "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" and his own first appearance and attack scene in "Godzilla Minus One", as well as based off of Godzilla's fight with the male MUTO in Honolulu in the original 2014 version. As for the Japanese Happy Birthday, I wanted to be more diverse in Japanese culture in certain aspects, including games and birthday traditions, not to mention add in some Easter eggs from "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" (1956), hence the ritualistic dancing. So I listened to the song and it was great. The more I thought about it, honestly, the more I teared up in joy, thinking about the scene in which Ally becomes touched with Noriko and the Odo Island natives' gesture to Ally. Moving on, the next chapter, this time around, will start off in New York City. So, do any of you have ideas for how Tony Timmonds could be properly introduced in the story? If so, please explain in your reviews for this chapter.
