The chapter is small but over five-thousand words. I want to apologize because I said I would have written the following chapter at the end of the month. I did not and finished at the start of the new month. It was on May when I started, and it took me all the way till June to finish. The reason for the long wait was because I had accidently backed myself into a corner when I made Naruto take on the Flaxans. However, I was able to go through with it. I did not want to go through the events concerning the Flaxans and wanted to focus more on the story about the Viltrumites. I will be skipping certain events unless I feel they were really important. I also want to mention that while the events are reshaped, Mark is still every bit as important - he is one of the main characters after all. I also want to thank everyone for their continued support and for the amount of attention you've given this story. Please review and tell me what you think - and get ready.
...
Slipping through space-time in an instant, Naruto could already perceive each of his markers somewhere in the Flaxan's dimension. There was no way of really knowing where these markers were specifically. This would be Naruto's first attempt in entering another dimension that wasn't involving the events in his homeworld and since his time spent on Earth.
Naruto relied on instinct and chakra to guide him. The markers carried his chakra with them, there was a faint tug to them even when those same markers were in another dimension. Despite Naruto being ready and prepared, he was going in blind. The main concern was detecting each marker and where he would end up. Naruto had no way of knowing what was on the other side. But following the tug where his chakra was pulled, Naruto sensed the invisible network the Hiraishin possessed when using it and chose the closest marker he could sense.
Naruto slipped in and acted quickly.
On the Flaxan's home planet, the day barely began and already the lead commander to the Flaxan's military force was getting up.
Left grunting and scowling, the Flaxan leader got up from his bed and started the morning.
The military leader had been part of that failed invasion, suffering a large scar over his right eye.
Over three hundred Flaxan soldiers were wiped out from the failed invasion that took place ten years ago. And though their numbers were replenished, it would still take the great minds of the Flaxans best scientists another ten years to develop a new kind of technology necessary to fight against the time dilation that rapidly aged their kind. Thanks to their technology already being advance, they were able to reverse the effects from before and even prevent themselves from aging entirely - that was the reason why the lead commander still looked the same despite ten years already passing.
Currently the Flaxan leader was in the middle of chewing a passible breakfast when he felt up his scar again. The scarred Flaxan would do that from time to time. For an advance race, how could the Flaxan's medical technology not be enough to heal the damaged tissue on the lead commander? It could heal him in fact. But the military leader didn't want to heal it. He kept it as a way to remember the humiliating defeat he suffered at the hands of that yellow-haired human. Though their interaction was brief, and the world they stepped into, the Flaxans were able to know about Earth and the humans long before the invasion became official. In fact, the scarred Flaxan made it his mission to learn the disgusting human language just so he could tell that yellow-haired human that he would be the one to kill him.
In a rage the Flaxan leader gripped his spoon tightly. He vowed to kill that yellow-haired human. He would make that yellow-haired human pay for ten years of humiliation! Revenge made him strong. Revenge made him motivated. Revenge was a fiery pit in his belly, and it fueled the scarred Flaxan every day for the last ten years. And he would have his revenge! He would -
Shink!
Squelch!
It was soundless even when his feet met the floor. There was no energy discharge. There was no bright light or glowing portal. He was there in a brief moment like a lightning strike and without wasting another second, Naruto reached into his pocket and pulled out a kunai knife. Naruto's arm moved in a shapeless blur, too fast for the naked eye to process. He grabbed at the ring of his kunai, twirling it and into a firm reverse grip.
Not a second later, Naruto stabbed the Flaxan at the side of his neck in one clean go.
The sharp tip sunk in before being pulled out so fast that blood didn't even have time to stain the knife.
Those first few seconds took a moment to process before the pain erupted in the scarred Flaxan's throat. His lone eye widens at first, quickly grabbing his throat and trying to figure out why he found himself struggling to breathe. He realized what happened once the blood started seeping through his fingers and gushing from the wound. The bitter taste of iron filled his mouth. He choked for breath, clawing and struggling to press the wound back before...
Thunk!
The scarred Flaxan slammed face first into the contents of his breakfast. He died not knowing who killed him. He died not knowing it was the same yellow-haired human he cursed for ten years. He died a shameful and uneventful death that Naruto didn't bother himself to remember it was the same Flaxan he injured yesterday. Naruto, after fatally stabbing the Flaxan, had already turned his back on the Flaxan before he hit face first into his food and looked for the nearest window to see where he was.
All that happened, it was just another no-named Flaxan in Naruto's mind.
Finding a window with some curtains, Naruto gently parted one and peered through the window to see a futuristic city bathed in a deep red light from the planet's sun. The interior of the room didn't match the outside, the lights were bright with metallic and clear white surfaces. It looked like an ordinary home, a futuristic sort of home that Naruto saw from movies. Whoever Naruto killed, it looked like he lived alone and lived in some sort of luxury. Naruto was glad the place was empty. It would have been a merciless bloodbath if he found others.
Back at the kitchen, Naruto didn't really care to see the face of the Flaxan he killed. They all looked the same to him. What he did bother was moving the collar of the Flaxan's shirt from behind the green-skinned alien's neck downward and there, words written in Kanji were seen responding to his chakra. The words glowed golden yellow.
If this Flaxan had a marker, it was because some clones purposefully sacrificed themselves just to label as many Flaxans as possible. It was indiscriminate. All were targets.
Following the same written style as his homeworld, and coincidently Japan, the words were written vertically.
The Hiraishin had only ever had two users, that being Naruto's father Namikaze Minato who was renowned as the fastest shinobi of his time and the technique's creator Senju Tobirama. From what Naruto remembered when he encountered the two, Tobirama's marker followed a unique sealing formula scripture with various symbols while Naruto's father had a marker in the shape of words placed together. Those words spelled endurance, love, of, and sword.
Naruto followed his father's example.
Rather than it being four words like his father's marker, Naruto's marker was five words written in Kanji.
The words spelled Scarlet, Crimson, Midnight, Azure and Storm. Those were the words Naruto chose to serve as his marker. And those were words that would also be the first names to his closest friends.
It was to honor them for what they taught him, and what they sacrificed for him.
Scarlet, Crimson, Midnight, Azure and Storm, all five were skilled shinobi and experts in their particular field of Ninjutsu. They were his closest friends. They were his teachers too. And they would forever be remembered through this Jutsu. In a way, it was Naruto's friends that still gave him strength to persevere beyond even space and time.
Leaving the kitchen again Naruto went to what looked like a living room area.
Naruto knew he had a task to do. Unbothered with the blood soaking up the bottom of his sneakers Naruto moved on to the living room area. Drying his shoes on the rug he sat on a large couch centered there. Naruto took a moment, breathing in and then out.
'Are you there? Are you there?'
Naruto asked a simple question with a lot more behind it. Already he was pulled from the outside, his mind splashing through a darkness between the outside and mind. Naruto as though he had been forcefully submerged through water. That was how it usually felt when he went through the place between his mind and the sealing formula marked onto his body. All the time in the world and never did he ever seem to think about it. Though he may have been plunged into a very deep pool, Naruto found himself standing up as though he didn't just go through all that seconds ago.
The place between mind and seal was big and empty, it was a murky place with water reaching up to his ankles. There were faint sounds between water rippling and water boiling at his feet. Beneath the water itself it actually glowed a fiery orange with much of the surface being completely obscured in black. It was only when he heard that ominous growl did Naruto feel the hairs on the back of his neck rise. That familiar ominous presence loomed over him. And with one glance over his shoulder Naruto saw a towering behemoth shrouded in that very same darkness outlined with an ominous red aura. There were two small white orbs for eyes and a grinning maw of white fangs. There were nine long black tendrils swaying aimlessly from behind.
The growling came first before the surge of chakra followed.
Naruto's eyes snapped open, an oily dark red pigment formed around the blonde's eyes and revealed oblong-shaped pupils and amber colored irises. The amber was brief before bleeding to red with his pupils gaining an additional vertical slit making a unique cross shape.
So much power surged in that moment.
The first step was Naruto entering 'Sennin Mōdo - Sage Mode' before being consumed in a golden fire that coiled and wrapped around him like a second skin. Everything from his hair and skin turned a brilliant gold, along with his clothes. A series of black markings decorated the blonde's abdomen, circles and vertical lines extending along the limbs. The whisker-like markings on his face became thick black bars with comma-shaped markings circling around the collar bone. There was a faint, fiery orange aura that flickered around the blonde's golden form.
Naruto entered 'Kyūbi Chakura Mōdo - Nine-Tails Chakra Mode.'
Without delay Naruto looked up at the ceiling, his feet already leaving the ground and like a bullet he shot straight ahead.
There was no need to be subtle. Not anymore. Under these new conditions where his power ascended unlike anything before, the need to be subtle was thrown out the window and nothing would be help back for what he was about to do. Sage Mode was a subtle transformation, changing the eye color and decorating it with unique colored pigment exclusive to its user. The power of nature melded with his own pool of chakra, perfectly balanced and strengthened his already superhuman capabilities. Everything from his physical strength to his senses, to his Ninjutsu, everything was amplified. And it only increased further when supercharged with the chakra belonging to one of the most powerful 'Bijū - Tailed Beast' ever known before the rise of 'Jūbi - Ten-Tails.'
Under both Sage Mode and the Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, Naruto's body tore through the thick sheets of metal and concrete, unbothered by the damage he was already causing and already reached the outside less than a second. Dozens of floors collapsed and flickering bits of life that resided there were washed away in an instant.
Naruto did not care. A frightening focus was etched on his face, and silently he brought his hands together.
'Multi-Shadow Clone Technique.'
The difference between the Shadow Clone Technique and the Multi-Shadow Clone Technique was the number of clones it could create - with the standard version creating dozens while the advance version created hundreds. And yet most did not know that it was through the potency of one's own chakra that could amplify the technique's usual numbers to something else. The standard version was easily mistaken for the advance one. It was the standard that could go up to hundreds if pushed and it was the advance that could create thousands if pushed.
For Naruto, he pushed it to an absurdity. Naruto pushed it to where no one in his world could ever hope to reach without the risk of killing themselves, after all the Multi-Shadow Clone Technique was a forbidden technique.
Naruto's potential and chakra was already massive even at a young age, rivaling even well-known veteran Jōnin. The only thing he lacked at the time was training and experience. Now, it all went full circle with power, training and experience. Naruto tapped into that reserve of chakra he had and further amplified it with the potency of nature energy and supercharged that with the golden chakra shroud of the Nine-Tails - the complete form of it.
The Flaxan's world fell deathly still. As if it knew.
Naruto brought his hands together, forming that familiar cross sign. And in an instant Naruto created Shadow Clones. He did not create hundreds, he did not create thousands, he didn't even create hundreds of thousands. The sky over the Flaxan's city suddenly began to glower brighter, every single Flaxan on the ground looked up.
In that one moment, Naruto created sixty-million Shadow Clones in one go with each and every one of them possessing a golden chakra shroud of their own.
On command they flew. They flew like golden missiles with long faint orange trails. Every clone scattered all across the planet's surface, moving at speeds that instantly covered all across the surface. They covered every nook and cranny of islands, continents, nations, whatever densely populated place there was they all flew towards towns and cities before diving and crashing onto the surface. Naruto flew so high that he was where he could see the whole curvature of the planet. The clones that hit did not poof, the golden chakra shroud covering their form maintained it long enough for them to do what they needed.
Unbeknown to even Naruto, he wasn't even aware of the wicked grin plastered on his face.
'Great. Clone. Explosion!'
Unlike before when Naruto used it previously, the clones exploded without warning. This time, they exploded with their bodies igniting in an eye piercing white glow. The detonation was clear. They exploded, instantly taking in a couple city blocks before suddenly, the explosion imploded, forcefully sucking the air in and anyone unfortunate not to get vaporized in the first reaction.
BOOM!
BOOM!
BOOM!
A deafening sound ripped through the air. Each explosion was earth shattering, a series of powerful shockwaves tore the ground and toppled skyscrapers like clay. That was just the start before the domes of vaporizing white light followed after - it spread, continuously growing and vaporizing the surface in a blast wave for miles. Naruto may have been high in the sky and away from the explosions, but even he could see them from the height he was at. The explosions thundered all over. Boom after boom he heard.
All sixty-million clones glittered the surface like dots. Tens of millions of Flaxans were gone instantly and hundreds more would follow.
Naruto's arms were crossed, a hardened face stared with cold, orange-colored eyes.
There were roughly seventeen billion Flaxans on the planet. Naruto in that one attack had only taken three-eighths of the population. It didn't matter if there were some Flaxans still alive, Naruto already sensed them throughout the entire planet and knew where they were. It didn't matter if they were in some hidden facility in the dark depths of the ocean. It didn't matter if they were in some bunker under a whole mountain. Naruto was already counting down each and every last Flaxan before finally taking action again.
'Multi-Shadow Clone Technique.'
Another sixty-million Shadow Clones appeared - they didn't poof into existence, it was a thunderclap into existence before shooting like missiles and exploding once more with the Clone Great Explosion into the spots that weren't touched from the previous blasts. Any part that hadn't already been destroyed was instantly vaporized. Any survivors met an instant death with the second wave of explosive clones.
Naruto did not care for them. He steeled himself, closing off his heart and rid himself of any second thoughts before a sense of doubt could creep in. He would do it again just like before.
The Flaxans were conquerors. It was plain and simple. They would not give up their quest to conquer the Earth. They would not give up killing every last human there. There wasn't anything Naruto could think of that could persuade them otherwise, after all they spent the first ten years dedicated to revenge and would have gone another ten or more to make sure they would win the next time they invaded Earth.
Naruto had softened them up. Now they would face with one of his most powerful techniques.
Naruto created two Shadow Clones, each with their own cloak and soon being empowered with more chakra. Naruto and his two clones erupted with more golden chakra and all three took shape. Together they would form three individual replicas of the Nine-Tailed Fox, a living avatar made of golden chakra for them to use.
"RAWR!"
Together they roared.
Their golden maws opened wide, gathering positive and negative chakra and fusing it with nature energy. Small orbs gathered together, merging into one singular sphere for each, strengthening and condense which were forcefully shrunk just enough before being fired when the three golden beasts lurched forward.
Not even the empowered clones Naruto unleashed could match the full-scale destruction of a nature-infused 'Bijūdama - Tailed Beast Bomb.' The very same Tailed Beast Bombs that could so casually destroy mountains and reshape the land. The very same Tailed Beast Bomb used by a being said to be capable of turning Naruto's world to ash. Only this time, Naruto was that extra boost to refine it. The explosions themselves were big enough to been from the curvature of the planet.
Nothing would be left.
Nothing.
And Naruto kept his promise.
It took one day.
Naruto had been relentless. Naruto used the most devastating, most exotic and powerful techniques in his arsenal of Ninjutsu. And what Naruto did left everything to crumble to dust and be blown away.
No longer empowered with the golden chakra shroud, Naruto was left sitting on a pile of rubble for the last few minutes. The sun was beginning to rise on an empty world.
Naruto kept true to what he set out to do and rendered the Flaxan's world to ash. A glorious futuristic city, a utopia to the Flaxans, had now become a vacant landscape where a city spanning an entire continent had been reduced into a barren wasteland where not even the buildings remained. In the distance Naruto could hear dormant volcanoes reawakening and feel the tsunamis swallowing the eastern and western shorelines. There were even earthquakes rumbling thanks to Naruto who cracked the major continent in two. If the Flaxans weren't killed now (which they all were thanks to Naruto's sensing abilities) the sudden adverse weather effects done to the planet would kill whatever was still alive.
Naruto took the Flaxans by surprise. No one had been quick enough to respond and fight back. Out of the one-hundred and twenty million clones Naruto created, Naruto ordered a quarter of that number to find and destroy every single military base the Flaxans had all the while having some of the clones to steal any information Naruto could get out of them. In the midst of the destruction, Naruto speculated that Cecil was part of some Black Ops organization.
The people of Earth could have something to gain from Naruto's efforts. Who knew when another invasion would occur? Naruto didn't want to risk it.
Seeing the red shine cover what was left of the land Naruto teleported away, leaving behind a marker onto the rubble he sat on.
...
Cecil and Robot weren't able to make any comment once Naruto teleported. The two were left feeling stumped, Robot looking every bit as indifference from his metallic face and Cecil giving a light curse. Despite Naruto's confidence, that did not guarantee to them that the blonde could succeed. While the teleporting blonde may have taken down an army, it didn't mean he was just capable of taking on an entire planet. It did intrigue Robot though. Already there was a flow of different calculations in trying to determine if whether Naruto could succeed was possible. The footage Robot acquired were studied with various scans that viewed muscle density and bone structure.
Results were...
'Inconclusive?' Robot thought, if he had a brow, it would have been raised up in confusion. Oddly, the data kept fluctuating.
Teleporting. Super strength. Super speed. Duplication. Energy detonation. Healing. It grew into a list with still very little to explain how Naruto could win, let alone know the exact measurement about the blonde's full capabilities.
As for Cecil, the director of the GDA wasn't so quick to put his faith in the blonde, having only just met, and would fall on some plans needed when the blonde returned or not. There were, however, some perturbing implications to this whole situation. It wasn't a thought many would just think about, not to the everyday people in America and to the whole world. In Cecil's mind, if some random kid could take on an army and said kid could take on a whole planet just a day after... that certainly put a frightening perspective to how dangerous this young man - Naruto - might actually be or how powerful he actually was. Cecil saw the world in grey, not black and white like most he knew. The blonde showed enough to care about saving people, but the people tended to ignore the fact he blew up most of the town square to kill as many... Flaxans as possible.
The time was just barely hitting noon.
With nothing they could do, they turned their backs right before Naruto reappeared.
"Whoo. What'd I miss?" Naruto asked, looking around and seeing nothing changed from when he first teleported.
The two did a double take, trying to figure out what just happened. Naruto was gone one moment and the next he comes back after. Robot and Cecil saw that Naruto hadn't really changed much, though there was a long tear on the right sleeve of his hoodie. But other than that, he looked completely fine with scratches on him.
"Back already?" Cecil questioned, honestly not knowing what to even make of this situation. "Things didn't turn out the way you wanted it to be?"
Naruto shook his head. "Oh, no. I did. It took a little longer than I thought it would, but I got it done. My sense of time is a little fuzzy though, so I don't know how long it's been since I left." Naruto said.
"How long had it been since you were in the Flaxan's dimension?" Robot asked. Robot remembered the time dilation; this would certainly bring a lot to understand how much time moved differently in the Flaxan's dimension.
"I was gone for a whole day, how long was it here?" Naruto questioned.
"Twenty-four hours?" Robot said in surprise. "You barely left. It hasn't even been five minutes."
"Not even five minutes? All that time I was panicking for nothing when I thought I'd miss that meet up with Eve and Mark." Naruto said to himself, shoulders slumped before giving a short sigh of relief knowing he hadn't missed anything important. He placed a hand on his chest, stopping his heart from thumping till a slow look of realization started. Quietly, the blonde padded his body down much to the confusion of Robot and Cecil.
"Ah-ha!" Naruto said aloud, pulling from his back pouch hidden behind his black hoodie.
Cecil and Robot were very confused when they saw the blonde pull out a stack of small, rectangular sheets of paper. They were in a thick stack bounded by a simple orange rubber band. And the same way one would skim through dollar bills, Naruto counted and recited under his breath as he looked through them until he pulled out two slips of paper.
"Here you go." Naruto offered two slips of paper, something Cecil and Robot did not take. They just looked at the pieces of paper not understanding what sort of significance they had. Robot and Cecil saw strange symbols and lines decorating the center with a ring around a single Japanese Kanji for object.
"What is it?" Robot asked. His scans told him it was just a piece of paper with writing on it. The scans also told that somehow, each of the Eastern cultures like Japan, China, Korea, and India even, were placed into a highly complicated and unique written format that took each system into itself and made it an entirely new language altogether. Was this some sort of hidden language Naruto made up? Robot questioned to himself in thought.
Naruto realized his foolishness. "Right, right sorry about that." Silently Naruto brought the paper facing forward to him and place his hand onto the sealing formula. "I'm not really good with technology but with me being able to read the Flaxan's mind and eventually be able to understand their language after the whole day I was in their dimension, I used some of my clones to raid their science and military bases for secrets and found a lot. Sealed inside these pieces of paper are data caches I was able to store away in case things like this happened again. One of them I thought was really cool because it was some kind of mecha suit." Naruto explained, channeling a small amount of chakra into the sealing formula.
'Kaifū-no-Jutsu - Unsealing Technique.'
A simple white cloud of smoke just appeared, showing Naruto's word a genuine as Naruto held onto oddly looking disks and rectangles.
"I figured you and Cecil would want these just in case, also I sort of figured Cecil was part of some black ops organization." Naruto admitted and handed it to them.
"That's not exactly the official job description." Cecil commented, taking the small piece of information and storing them into his pocket, Robot doing the same with a hidden compartment in his wrist.
"It isn't? Oh well. Close enough." Naruto shrugged. "I'll be seeing you guys, I gotta take a shower." Naruto was gone before Cecil could say anything.
"Damn it!" Cecil cursed.
Robot tilted his head. With Naruto's arrival and his supposed victory over the Flaxans, the initial scans Robot made previous suddenly changed into something else that honestly made the real him hidden in his tank shudder just a little.
As for Naruto, he destroyed an entire civilization and the only thing on his mind was getting cleaned up to go meet Mark and Eve.
...
*Author's Note: "As hard as it was, this was to end the Flaxans and whatever Arc they may have been a part of. Now, we are at the second phase where it all leads up to Naruto alongside Mark and the adventures they will undergo.
As mentioned before, the characters previously mentioned: Scarlet, Crimson, Midnight, Azure and Storm are original characters from the Naruto series but were only featured in the Naruto Online game. In a promotional video to advertise their game, the developers created a special animated video where Naruto and all five of these characters took on all the Six Paths of Pain. If you are interest, go look them up and the video.
A lot of people can say that there is no way Naruto could reach explosions up to nuclear, but I am here to say that yes, it is very likely in terms of raw power. And I can prove it just by telling you about the Giant Rasengan. According to the information provided by the Naruto Databook it states that the Giant Rasengan has the power of a falling meteor. I went out of my way to understand what that even means and according to the sources that explain falling meteorites that have occurred around the world - some have outrageous power. If anyone remembers that meteor in Russia that happened back in 2011, the sources claim that the meteorite burned as bright as the sun before it exploded - releasing more energy than the nuclear bomb dropped on Hiroshima. The amount of power it released was said to be 20 to 30 times. And this is actually a lowball because this was the 'smallest' recorded event in Russia when the largest one called the Tunguska Event released 50 megatons of energy which the only recorded weapon that has that much power is the Tsura Bomb.
And this information is backed up with the extra variants to the Rasengan which can carve mountains.
If Naruto can hold that much power in the palm of his hand, why can't it be logical to release said energy into an actual explosion. Naruto's clones were supercharged with nature energy and Nine-Tails Chakra too. And before anyone can argue with the clones, Naruto in Canon was able to create two-hundred thousand. Naruto creating 60-to-120 million clones and detonating them at the same time is not out of the realm of possibility.

"I don't wanna go." Naruto cried, tears streaming down his face.
...
As the battles got tougher, so did the moment of coming closer to death. Mark was every bit afraid of that feeling. And often times he'd feel some level of bloodlust coming off of another person from just how deranged they were. But this time it was different. He froze. His breath was caught in his throat and muscles locked into place, his legs nearly giving out just from the unsettling feeling that made his skin crawl and the hairs on the back of his neck to stand up.
He could look, turning his eyes in a side eye glance to see Eve and the rest just standing there frozen in place. Eve might have gotten the worst of it.
Mark was sure that if he tried to move, if anyone tried to move, they were going to die, plain and simple. And that's when his heart sank.
"Now then. Shall we begin."
Evil. A cold and unrelenting evil was upon them.
