Night time recap
November 24, 2012; Ish's house, night...
Ash: Thanks again for letting me and my dad stay here while he finds a house.
Ish: *smiles* It's nothing, I'm happy you both are staying. Not to mention having you as a partner is amazing.
Ash's smile grew. She and Ish were in his room, her and her father Charles staying over while he house-hunted. While their parents were asleep, the two decided to talk abit in Ish's room.
Ash: Gotta say, this was one interesting Thanksgiving break.
Ish: I know, we gotta keep an eye out for this Wildcard guy. There's got to be information on him somewhere.
Ash: Right we should...*facepalms;realization* Dang it.
Ish: *chuckles* Hitting you now?
Ash: Yeah. I missed a season during our talk, before Wildcard appeared. It's been TWO YEARS not one.
Ish: Understand, you had alot on your mind there so I can understand the confusion.
Ash: -sighs- Yeah, still other than NFL news nothing much must of happened during that time for you.
Ish held in a laugh, covering his mouth as he shoke his head confusing Ash.
Ish: OH NO, lot of stuff happened and I also got involved on those NFL news and changes. Learned pretty fast that the Rush Zone life is anything but normal.
Ash: *curious* Really? What in the world happen during the 2011 season.
Ish: And before you came, ALOT. Lost count with all the stuff that happened.
Ash sat up on the blow up bed she was on.
Ash: Mind giving me some, just to catch up a bit.
Ish: *nods* Good idea, I'll tell you the rest on a later date. Well, first...Claw had a heart transplant.
Ash: *horror* I'm sorry what!
Ash voice was loud, but not to loud to wake the house. Ish nodded.
Ish: Punishment for freeing me. Still don't know how Freefall got the organ but, neither do the others. Never ask, none of us did, personal question right there.
Ash: He's okay though, I was walking beside him when I went after you.
Ish: Yeah, recovered nicely. The amount of close calls we had medical wise. We moved to Canton few days later and found out about the HOK, so I was able to check on him. *thinks* Know I attended the Combine for Guardian Training, first day of training to so poetic right there.
Ash: And getting on the Bulldogs during all this?
Ish: *Smiles* Drafted in March, also how I meet Troy, Tua, and Marty..*cringes* AND when the Lockout began.
Ash cringed as well remembering that nightmare.
Ash: Scale of one to ten how bad?
Ish: Eleven to the point the Rusherz were ready to storm the next owner's meeting. They did not want a repeat of a certain 1980s strike.
Ash: I do not blame them...*thought* Do the owners know about you?
Ish: OH Yeah, met them weeks before my duty at the draft. The Combine, Draft, and Hall of Fame I done two times now. The Super Bowl for 2011 was..kinda my first, without Operation Red Herring.
Ash: Operation Red Herring..*clicks* SO THAT'S WHY THE COWBOYS AND JETS PLAYED AND NOT THE STEELERS AND PACKERS!
Ish: YEP! Sudden Death fell for it easy. Some changes are still going on too, the Vikings and 49ers are working on their stadiums.
Ash: Oh yeah...The Vikings other one..umm..
Ish: *wincing* YEAH, Bolt told me that Thor was not happy. He actually passed out on me when he got back, scared me to bits there and got a bit of a scolding for missing a whole day of sleep and rest.
Ash had to hold in a chuckle, imagining the angry look on the Viking Rusherz' face. Ish sighed as he looked outside, some sorrow on his face.
Ish: *sad* Wasn't all fun and games though, lost alot of good people last year.
Ash *sad* Oh yeah, Maya passed away from breast Cancer. Were you able to-
Ish: Actually skipped school to attend, that was a..confusing moment for my Parents and the others...Hardest one was, AL Davis.
Ash heart broke remembering the news.
Ish: It was bad, Pillage was hit hard those few months. First he got shot during a preseason rivalry game, then Al passed away and he found out before the game.
Ash: He got shot?
Ish: Did it to protect Pick-Ax. Being Blitzed didn't phase him...losing Al did. Stayed at his site for ten days before Rampage brought him back. Wish I was there sooner than just the game and when he returned.
Ash felt tears form in her eyes hearing this.
Ash: Pillage...
Ish: Was place on IR till December came, same with Steed-
Ash: What happened with Steed?
Ish turned, seeing horror and fear on her face as he tears fell.
Ash: Ish, WHAT HAPPENED WITH STEED?
Ish took a breath nodding.
Ish: Well, he was..still not doing well with the whole Blitzing. Freefall took him for a walk and when me and OT, well RZ avatar, saw him fly in with Cyclops holding him, we knew something went wrong. Turns out a Blitzbot attacked them as Steed swallowed the module before he got caved in. Cyclops and Freefall found him, but the damage was already done and he needed surgery fast. Was hard to do given if they put him to sleep he might not wake up. Course me and RZ went over, freaked the Rusherz out cause they did not want me to see that..but, after what happened with Pillage i was not going to stay on the sidelines. Suggested we do surgery while he's awake. Thankfully it all went well after Cyclops had a talk with him, something that was need.
Ash gave a raspy sigh of relief, wiping her eyes.
Ash: Thank goodness.
Ish: Yeah, since then Steed and Pillage got better and the Rusherz try to get me more involved in the serious situations..most of them cause there was *trials off*.
Ish bit his lip as both he and Ash got shivers around them, not from the temperature.
Ash: Oh yeah, what happened with Scavenger...how is he doing?
Ish: Better, still need help but he's better. We're going to take a closer look at him once Wildcard attacks die down a bit. My mom and Dad are going to explain what happened when Pick-Ax brought him back when I'm a bit older.
Ash: Same thing with me too, my Dad wants to tell me when I'm older too. Close to the near future. I'm just happy he's doing a bit better.
Ish: *nods* Same here.
Ish laid on his bed looking at the ceiling.
Ish: I've been though it all; game and training days, moving here, the meetings, new stadiums, and the list can go on on the missions from going to the Combine, to an attack at the 49ers new stadium site, the Texans stadium going missing, and the cherry on top the entiery of the draft that year iseking in a fantasy world...again, never a dull moment.
Ash eyes were wide hearing, staring at Ish.
Ash:..Is that going to be the norm for me too?
Ish: YES.
Both laughed quietly for a while...before sighing.
Ash: Okay, good to know...by the way, do you still have the Guardian Playbook?
Ish smile grew as he nodded, going to the side of the bed and taking out the book. He quietly went over sitting next to Ash as he opened the book; stopping as the two saw a photo.
Ish: Oh yeah, found this the other day. Think it belongs to the Rusherz, no idea why it was out in the Hall of Fame but I'm hoping to find a frame for this before I give it back to them. Till then I'm keeping it in here for safe keeping.
Ash: *looks at this* Good idea, looks like it was taken in 2002. *looks up* I'm glad you still have this, we might need to look into this when we are going on mission in case of attacks.
Ish: *Smiles* If you want during break and training we can look at it together.
Ash nodded she looked at the pages Ish was showing her, Ish smile warming seeing her excitement.
Ash: *excited* Oh my gosh, there are plays from their first divisional win against the bills back in 1963! When they were the Boston Patriots! Look at these players; Ron Hall, Babe Parilli, Tony Romeo-!
Ish: Oh yeah, lot of old names on here. In fact this dates back to the 1920s.
Ash: How on earth did they manage to get that all in there?
Ish: *chuckles* Cause the Rusherz have BEEN HERE since the 1920s.
Ish had to hold in his laugh, still laughing seeing Ash froze as the book fell from her hands onto her lap in shock.
Ash: *shock* Ish?
Ish: *laughing* Y-Yes?
Ash: *shock*..HOW OLD ARE THEY?
Ish burst out, quietly laughing.
Ish: I asked the same question. Either way, it's great to have you on the team at last Ash.
Ash shock faded as she smiled, Ish calming down as the two looked out the window in silence for a while.

Ash: Ish?
Ish: Yeah?
Ash: Question...what happened with the Gameballz?
Ish sighed as he shrugged.
Ish: I have no clue, neither does RZ or the Rusherz. They told me they just appeared the year before Bolt found me, and then just vanished after we won.
Ash: *curious* Hold on so, they just appear and vanish like that?
Ish: Yeah, and i got this feeling that hopefully, we'll be able to see them again.
Ash nodded in agreement, yawning as Ish went back to his bed. Both laid down on their beds with smiles
Ash: *sleepy* Well defiantly see them again. Till then, we're going to work hard to protect the league.
Ish: *sleepy* -yawns- Yeah, we're gonna put our all in...Hey Ash?
Ash: *sleepy* Mmmhmm?
Ish:...Welcome to the Rush Zone.
Ash smiled as the two fell asleep with smiles...
...The Guardian Playbook was left opened as a small gust blew a few pages, revealing the photo.
