In a shady part of the city Hammer staked out in inconspicuous 1981 Chevrolet Malibu Classic car to avoid being recognized. He parked around the corner from a warehouse as it's one of the locations that Cain stopped and spent the most time at. Hammer watched several men come in and out carrying boxes. Maythus sets up a camera zooms and racks focus and snaps pictures of the men going in and out. His keen mind starts reeling, calculating possible ways to infiltrate and neutralize the building. After gathering enough intel, he takes a few notes and pulls out.
Much later West and Hammer are in the armor room, filled with small electronic gadgets and devices. Maythus noticed a foldable quadcopter drone laid on an Island-type workbench.
West took notice. "Environmental applications, defense projects, consumer products… all prototypes, none if production at any level whatsoever."
Hammer not too much on the tech jargon says, "I love toys like the next person. But I was thinking of something that will shoot back at the bad guys."
West made his way to a large wire cabinet built into the wall, he stopped pressed in a code and opened it. The cabinet drawer revealed lots and lots of guns, heavy ordinance. AR-15'S, handguns, body armor, and a 40mm grenade launcher.
Maythus eyes were full as he whistled at the arsenal of weapons.
"I hope you've taken a safety course." Said West.
"Does being afflicted with the rifle association counts?"
"I guess it'll have to do for now."
"It'll have to do," interjected Walker entering the armory. She followed it with a sarcastic remark. "Your medical doesn't kick in until 90 days from now. So don't get shot."
Hammer just smirked. "Got it!"
Hammer and West turned to Annie as she made her way to a high-tech computer station. Taps a key into the login screen and her settings appear within seconds.
"The warehouse is a drug cache under Matto's crime network," Walker pointed out. According to intel he has many around the city which are guarded. Except for this one… using thermal imaging from a drone we detected four armed assailants and about dozen or so workers in their lab."
"What type of drugs are they cooking up?"
"Crystal meth possibly ecstasy."
"First plan of attack," said Hammer. Matteo is the last big game in town. Hit him where it hurts his wallet."
"It's bold, even reckless. But I like it," Approved Walker. "Gather what you need and Hammer… if the mission goes awry and you get caught. The U.S. government will dismiss any acknowledgment of you being there."
"That sounds about right." Said Hammer as he walked away.
Later that night at the cache house Cain entered the main room which contained several meth stations spread throughout the inside, with each station having a single lightbulb hung on a short electric cord above it. The stench of the meth is overwhelming, breathtaking, a strong potent smell. Everyone in the building minus Cain and his armed men are all wearing masks. Cain wore a tan sport coat, crisp button up shirt, a gaudy string tie and black jeans. His alligator stitched cowboy boots thumped against the floor with every step. From the sound of the footsteps the meth cookers were aware of Cain's existences. He walked in the middle of the meth lab and shouted.
"The boss wants the next shipment to be delivered by tomorrow. So, I need everyone to work faster."
Outside of the building Hammer parked inside the Malibu reached over to the passenger seat and grabbed a M79 launcher. He slid out the Chevelle, loaded the launcher with a 40mm smoke round. He faced the warehouse and aimed the launcher at the building's shutter door. He squeezed the trigger. Off the round went. The tear gas grenade accelerated gracefully towards the shutter door.
As Cain walked away from the workers, he heard unexpected noise. He turned to see the round sticking through the shutter door. Heavy white plumes of smoke poured out of the smoke round. His eyes go wide, as he began to cough and choke from the smoke.
Hammer waited until the shutter door opened followed by Cain and the meth cookers rushed out of the building coughing rubbing their eyes, blinded by tear gas. Cain looked up and sees a dark figure standing beside the Malibu car. Cain's vision is blurry for a moment he continued to wipe his eyes until his vision is clear.
Hammer stood still as Cain looked out towards him.
"Do you have any idea whose shop you just busted in on?" Shouted Cain. "Your dead you hear me dead!"
Hammer stands his ground firm, brave, says. Guess I'm about to find out," he draws his attention to the men. "Everyone walk away now!"
As the workers scattered, Hammer heard footsteps behind him. He quickly noticed a reflection in the car's side mirror. He spins smashed butt of the launcher into the attacker's stomach, he drops down to one knee as the attacker is windless. The attacker looks up but it's too late, Hammer using the butt of the launcher knocks him cold.
Just as Hammer stood straight two of Cain's men have their weapons drawn on him. Before their eyes knew what happened, quick as lighting Hammer drew the sig, shot the man left of Cain in the right shoulder, the impact caused the man to drop his weapon. Hammer in one motion turned to the man on the right, shot his right kneecap. He shot the left for good measures and the man fell backwards like a sack of cement, grimacing in pain.
With the assailants taken out Hammer trained the Sig on Cain, tossed the launcher in the passenger seat, and slowly walked towards him. He shoved the barrel of the Sig into Cain's stomach and pushed him against the wall.
Cain, sweated profusely as he raised his hands in surrender.
"Tell your boss there's a new player in town," said Hammer in a low tone voice. "And I don't play well with others."
Cain nervously nodded, as he looked Hammer into his eyes and saw a man with no fear.
Hammer placed a calling card Cain's breast pocket. He heaved him roughly back on the ground and casually, walked back to the car. He leaned over into the car and grabbed hand grenade. He takes a few steps pulled the pin and with great accuracy, threw the grenade into the open shutter door area.
He smiled at Cain and dryly said, "You fellas might want to run."
Hammer slide into the car, slammed the door, placed the gear shifter into drive the Malibu catapults and the tires gripping the ground. Cain and his men barely escape as the meth lab exploded. Looking into the rearview mirror Mathyus sped away into the night watching the explosion in the rearview mirror.
