just yet; she added. Okay, Naomi; Jess replied. I don't want to worry you; he said smiling. I'm glad you don't want to, Jess; Naomi said. What do you want to do when we get back to the
ranch, Jess?; Naomi asked. Oh, I imagine Daisy will have lunch ready by the time we get back, Naomi; Jess replied. You look sleepy, Jess; Naomi remarked. Time for you to take a nap
now; she added. Okay, Naomi; Jess said as he curled up next to her. Do you know the way back to the ranch, Naomi?; Jess asked before he drifted off. Yes Jess, I do; Naomi
replied. We'll be there in a little while; she said. Get up, now; Naomi said to the horses. ''We've got a long way to go''; she thought to herself.
And before she knew it she'd found her way back to the ranch almost. And a few minutes later she found herself looking at the Sherman Ranch & Relay Station that was her home at
last. We're home now, Jess; she said when they pulled into the ranch yard. That was fast; Jess said sleepily. Yes, it was, Jess; Naomi replied.
I'll take you inside and then I'll find Slim to help with the team; Naomi said. Sounds good, Naomi; Jess replied. Come on in the house, Jess; Naomi said
as they headed inside. Hi, Daisy; Jess said when he saw Daisy in the kitchen. Hello, Jess; Daisy said from her spot. Were you able to find a job, Naomi?;
Daisy asked. No, Daisy, unfortunately there was nothing suitable; Naomi replied. I'm sorry to hear that, dear; Daisy replied.
Lunch will be ready in a little while; Daisy said. Alright, Daisy, thanks; Naomi said as she and Jess headed for his and Slim's shared room so Jess could get a nap
before lunch.
