Here we are. Next chapter. I hope everyone enjoys. There is a list of books about the Goetia family in the story. I know they're written by humans. The problem was I didn't have time to read any of them to use as a correct reference. So Harry will use them to study about demons and Hell.
It was noon. And yet, Harry was still sleeping. It wasn't because he was lazy.
The curtains blocked the light emitting from the moon hanging in the sky, but you could still see the mess that was the almost 11-year old's room. Several model car kits were hanging from shelves along every wall. Most of them were muscle cars. A few pictures featuring him, his mom, grandpa, Stolas and Olivia hung beside the shelves and walls. They showed treasure memories that Harry held close to his heart. There was a blank space that once hung a poster, but his mom removed it.
On his ceiling was a complete-working solar system. The sun in the center of the ceiling provided light for the room while all the planets and their moons orbited around the light. They were spelled to mimic the actual rotation of the planets. It was part of his Astronomy studies with Prince Stolas.
Outside his window were several demonic plants that grew in Hell's moonlight. He didn't share the same love of gardening poisonous plants or man-eating flytraps as his teacher did, but Harry enjoyed growing flowers for his mother.
On a desk was a pile of books of magic and history: Testament of Solomon, The Lanterne of Light, De occulta philosophia, and the Magus. Some were borrowed from the Ars Goetia family's library, like Livre des Esperitz and Pseudomonarchia Daemonum. All demons and sigils of the Goetia family were listed in those books and Harry promised to guard them with his life.
On the other side of the desk was a scrapbook of newspaper articles from the Daily Prophet, a wizarding newspaper from England. His mom and Prince Stolas have been collecting them since he arrived in Hell. Inside were clippings about the war, Harry's disappearance, trials of Riddle's henchmen called Death Eaters, and interesting recipes that Letzi enjoyed making.
Leaning against the door frame was his scythe. Both his mom and grandpa were teaching him combat arts. While he wasn't on their level of skill or strength, he could defend himself quite well. Harry would practice his katas with slow, careful swings in his room before going to bed.
Harry was brought back to living world when he felt the soft touches of paw pads on his cheek. He brushed the paw away and turned his head, trying to get back to sleep. A moment later the paw returned. This time, he felt the slight tracings of a sharp claw raking his cheek.
"Salem," Harry groaned annoyingly at his cat. "I'm trying to sleep."
Harry felt nothing for a few moments. But then, the soft touch of fingertips brushed his cheek.
Harry sighed and opened his eyes. "I thought mom said you couldn't be in your hybrid form while in my bed."
Salem grinned mischievously. "Well your mom isn't here. Are you going to tell on me?"
Laying beside him was a beautiful, young woman. She looked like she was in her late teens with black, cascading hair that nearly fell to her waist. Her skin was a dark brown, almost chocolate colored. Her eyes were still yellow with had slight, opal pupils. But in her hybrid form, Harry could see the tips of her cat ears poking through her hair, the sharp fangs when she smiled, and ever few moments, her tail would twitch behind her. She was wearing a tank top and shorts.
Her hybrid form was a side effect of Lucifer's magic boost, something Salem discovered on her own. The first time Lucifer and Charlie saw her, Lucifer grinned and said 'catgirl fantasy'. Charlie gasped and slapped him on the back of the head. She told him to remove the form so 'Harry wouldn't get any ideas. Harry said her form was pretty and he liked it. Charlie slapped her father again when he said 'Boom-chicka-wow-wow.'
Whatever that means.
"No, I'm not going to tell on you." Harry sat up and stretched. "But I'm not going to disobey my mother either."
"You are such a momma's boy," said Salem. She laid down on her stomach. Her tail was sticking straight up into the air and wiggled. "Do you know why your mom made that rule?"
"No. I don't," Harry answered honestly.
"I'll give you a hint. It's the same reason she ripped that poster of Verosika Mayday off your wall."
Harry frowned. Verosika was a famous succubus popstar who was beginning to make waves in all the rings of Hell. Octavia brought Harry her latest album for him to listen and he became a fan. He bought a poster of her to put on his wall. It featured her singing on stage while wearing a short dress and thigh-high boots. But days later, Charlie checked on him while he was studying and saw the poster. She squeaked, ripped the poster off the wall, and told him she didn't want any salacious pictures of harlots hanging on his walls. She then burned it with her Hellfire powers. Later, Harry asked his grandfather what 'salacious' meant but the king just laughed.
"That still doesn't help," said Harry.
Salem kept grinning. "You're so adorable. But it's time for you to get up. We've got a trip to take." Her appearance warped back into a cat and she leapt of the bed, disappearing into the shadows of his desk.
Harry got out of bed and pulled the blinds up on his window. The red sky cast its light over Pentagram City. The manor was far enough that he didn't hear the car horns, people talking, or music from clubs and restaurants. He only been in the city a few times with his mom, taking in the sights and shopping for clothes.
And today, he was leaving it.
Harry showered and dressed into jeans, a button-down shirt, and trainers. Clothes a Sinner would wear. Then he made his way to the dining room, where he saw his grandfather eating his lunch and reading a book. Letzi was there placing more plates of food onto the table. When Harry entered, he bowed to the young prince.
"Hello, Prince Harry. I have prepared you lunch before you departed."
"Thank you, Letzi. I'm going to miss you excellent cooking," Harry remarked.
"I'm honored. I can only hope the lessons I gave you and your mother will help."
"Hey, kiddo," Lucifer said as Harry sat down. "Ready for your trip?"
"I think so," Harry said.
"Nervous?"
"Definitely."
Before they continued, Charlie entered the dining room. Instead of her usual pantsuit, she was dressed a red, flowing skirt that reached her knees and a white blouse with her tie. She wasn't wearing her shoes, so her hooves were gently clacking on the wooden floor.
"Good morning," she said brightly.
"Good morning, mom," Harry said.
"So, you really want to go through with this crazy plan of yours?" said Lucifer. His tone had changed from the delighted one he had earlier. Now it was tone of resignation.
Charlie stood taller and faced her father. "Yes, father. I am."
"I still think you're making a big mistake, Charlie. Sinners can't be redeemed."
"You also said I couldn't raise Harry because I was young and naïve. I proved you wrong, did I not?"
Lucifer turned back to his book with a smile on his face. "Indeed."
Harry tried not roll his eyes in annoyance. It had been a battle between them for months. Charlie wanted to go with Harry to the mortal realm and Lucifer tried to forbid it.
It all started when Harry began his training with his everyone. One day, Charlie started attending lessons with Prince Stolas about the mortal realm. Harry learned what he could about the history of Humanity, countries, governments, cultures, and their laughable religions. Both Harry and Charlie learned there wasn't much difference between Pentagram City and any town on the surface, except the laws were formed by a government and not Overlords.
Oh, and that malicious violence and sexual depravity was a giant no-no.
The more Charlie attended these lessons, the more she wanted to go with Harry to mortal realm. The original plan was for two demons with human disguises to accompany Harry and give him a home address for Hogwarts to send him his acceptance letter. Stolas assured everyone that the Hogwart's Book of Acceptance would able to find him when the school sent out letters to the students.
But then Charlie had the brilliant idea of living among the Sinners.
Yes. Her dream of rehabilitating Sinners had not diminished. She still wanted to help her people. So she had the idea of disguising herself as a human and living among them. By doing this, it would help her understand why humans made decisions that would damn them to Hell. Living, breathing and walking among them would help her understand why humans sinned.
When she explained her plan to everyone, Harry was all for it. While he didn't understand her goal of helping the worst Hell had to offer, Harry loved how passionate his mom was when it came to her goals. After all, that passion helped give Harry a loving family. Prince Stolas only cautioned her about the dangers of living in the mortal realm. While it wasn't as dangerous as Hell was, Charlie had to keep everything about her a secret. No Hellfire, no demon transformations, and no telling everyone the truth about herself or others.
Lucifer, however, shook the Rings of Hell with his anger. It led to arguments between father and daughter for weeks. The fights are what caused Salem to start sleeping in Harry's bed, trying to give some comfort to the prince. It finally ended when Charlie agreed to spend a certain amount of time in the mortal realm. She and Harry would leave today, and she would return at the end of the year before the next Extermination.
Harry frowned when that thought crossed his mind. After all, he only learned about it just this past New Year's Eve.
"What are we doing out here?" asked Harry. Lucifer had teleported him and Charlie to top of the Clock Tower in the center of Pentagram City. Harry never knew the tower was. Just that it glowed with white light and was really just a giant hourglass. It also had a day countdown with large numbers he could see all the way to the manor. He thought it was a way of the celebrating the New Year, as the clock would reset after January 1st.
Charlie was watching him with a worried expression. Harry always noticed that she was depressed this time of year. She would always bring him to the basement in the manor and bring food, games, and movies with her. When the dawn came, she would tell him to wait there while she went out. Last year, he asked her what she was doing.
'Helping' she would answer.
"You're about to see one of my greatest mistakes," Lucifer answered. He looked at his pocket watch. "30 seconds until midnight."
Charlie pulled Harry close to her and wrapped her arms around him, holding him tightly. Lucifer stood close by. There was still a lot of tension in the air and it was making Harry nervous.
Lucifer sighed and put his watch back into his pocket. "Here we go."
Harry was about to ask what when a tremendous bell began ringing from the tower. Next, a large portal emerged from the sky, illuminating the city in a bright light. He soon saw shapes fall out of the portal.
No. Not fall. Fly.
People were flying out of the portal with gray wings. They were also armed with spears that glistened brightly than any metal Harry ever saw. They were gray and black clothes, boots and gloves. Each individual sported a mask with X's over their eyes and horns on their head. And Harry noticed many of them were females.
But once they emerged, the city became enveloped with horrified screaming.
"What are they?" Harry asked.
"Exorcists," Lucifer answered. "Heaven's Army."
"Why are they here?"
But his grandfather didn't have to answer as the Exorcists began swooping towards the city's residents. Harry saw everyone trying to run, but the they were overwhelmed. His stomach lurched when he saw Sinners being skewered with spears and disemboweled with swords. The streets were quickly covered with blood and bodies.
"They're killing them!" Harry yelled.
"Yes. I know," said Lucifer calmly.
"We got to help!" They may have been the worst of Hell, but he was the Prince. And they were his people.
"No," said Lucifer as he gripped Harry's shoulder tightly. "This has to be done."
"Why?" asked Harry.
"Because the Pride Ring is overpopulated. Heaven fears the power that could be wielded against it if anyone decided to rise against them. So once a year, the Exorcists keep the population under control with an Extermination."
"And you just allow it to happen?" Harry asked in disbelief.
"I have no choice. It's a punishment for my mistake."
"For giving Humanity free will?"
Lucifer didn't answer. He just kept watching the slaughter.
"Mom," said Harry as he turned to her. "Is this why you want to redeem Sinners?"
She didn't answer, but nodded.
"It will end in a couple of hours. It's all I was able to negotiate. That, and to target Sinners only. The royal demon families will be untouched."
That gave Harry some relief as he was about to demand to check on Octavia and her family. But with her being a princess, she would be spared.
"So…we can't do anything?" Harry asked quietly.
"When it's over, I will send a signal into the sky," Charlie answered. "And then I try to help anyone that's still alive."
"Still alive? Wouldn't Sinners just heal or reform?"
"Those weapons are made from angelic steel. It won't just kill them. It will erase their souls from existence," Lucifer explained.
The pit in Harry's stomach opened even further. He felt his knees get weak and his body began to shake. His mother held him even tighter, keeping him steady. He wanted to protest even further but he was afraid he would be sick if he opened his mouth. He just kept watching the Extermination, unable to help or draw his eyes away.
But then he noticed one Exorcist still flying in the sky. It was obviously a male with white and black robes. He had a black mask with horns curving over his head. A pair of golden wings kept him in the air. Yellow, glowing eyes and teeth were fixed in a mad smile as the Exorcist watched the bloodbath with a deranged smile.
The madness Harry saw that day kept him in his room for nearly a month. He didn't see anyone, not even Octavia when she came to visit. He was so confused over the events. Mostly wondering how his grandfather, Lucifer Morningstar, King of Hell, could allow Heaven to commence such a heinous act. Sure, the threat of an uprising was possible, but anybody who spent two minutes with Lucifer would the man would not commit such an act. Harry saw him a fun individual who would transform into animals, build rubber ducks, sing and dance to his ridiculous polka music.
Harry once again asked his grandfather why he would allow such an event to happen, but he would only say it was to pay for his mistake. He wouldn't say anymore. When Harry asked Charlie what that mistake was, she answered that even she didn't know. Prince Stolas didn't know either. Any information in Hell's history couldn't tell Harry what Lucifer's mistake was. So Harry assumed it was giving Eve the apple from the Tree of Knowledge. But that wouldn't cause the Pride Ring to overpopulate with Sinners. And the word the stuck with Harry the most was 'uprising'.
"Sweetie? Everything okay?" Charlie asked.
Harry shook his head to clear his thoughts. "I'm fine, mom. Just thinking about today."
"Excited?"
"A little. Mostly nervous, though."
"So am I, sweetie."
"Really," Harry asked with a raised eyebrow. "You were pretty gung-ho about earlier?"
Charlie giggled. "Yeah. Time to put my money where my mouth is."
"Last chance to back out," said Lucifer. "The demons I had planned to accompany Harry can still be used."
"No, dad. I'm nervous, but I'm not quitting."
Lucifer sighed and closed his book. "Well, if you're done eating, we better get started."
Harry and Charlie left the dining room and went to their individual bedrooms. Harry packed the small amount of clothes he had that would help him blend in the mortal realm. He also packed some books that would help understand modern humanity cultures and norms. Lucifer paid a few recently deceased Sinners to help him understand what was currently happened on Earth. Stuff like news, world events, popular movies and sports teams. Things like that.
Even more, Lucifer was able to find a few Sinners who passed away from Wizarding Britain. When Harry met them, they were shocked to discover that The Missing Savior, Harry Potter, was living in Hell. They begged him to help them escape the realm, but Lucifer warned them of their situation and that their magic was lost when the passed away. The only thing they could do to improve their standings was to gain souls for their employment and help Harry.
With that, Harry learned more about the Wizarding World, Britain's Ministry of Magic, what happened after the Wizarding War and Hogwarts. Harry was thankful for the information and Lucifer paid them handsomely for their knowledge. The Sinners wished Harry luck.
With his bags packed, Harry grabbed his scythe and willed it to shrink. It grew smaller in his hands to become a small tattoo in his palm, ready to be called at a moment's notice.
"Ready, Salem?" asked Harry. His cat appeared from the shadows a moment later. She wrapped around Harry's legs, ready to go. "Let's get out of here."
Charlie and Lucifer were waiting for them in the parlor. Charlie had a suitcase beside her filled with everything she needed to get started on Earth. Razzle and Dazzle were hovering in the air behind her.
"Ready?" Lucifer asked Harry.
"I'm ready," Harry answered.
A moment later, a portal opened in the parlor. Prince Stolas stepped through along with Octavia. Harry smiled at his best friend who smiled back. She was wearing boots, black pants, and a white shirt with purple stars on the sleeves.
The duo hit a rough patch earlier in the year. After his birthday last year, Harry told her about the prophecy surrounding his life as well as having to attend a magic school in the mortal realm. Octavia became furious that Harry was leaving her. She cried, begging him not to go. When her father explained Harry had no choice, she ordered Harry out of her palace. She didn't speak to him for a few weeks. He wasn't even invited to her birthday party in August, which he attended every year since the two had met.
Those days were heartbreaking for Harry. He barely attended his studies. He was just about to give up and wait for fate to drag him onto Earth instead of attending Hogwarts. But one day, Charlie announced that Octavia was missing from the Goetia manor after her parents had a loud fight. Lucifer was able to use his scrying magic to find her on the streets of Pentagram City being attacked by a Hellhound gang. The trio instantly traveled there to save her. Harry used his scythe and Charlie used her trident to dispatch the gang. When she was safe, Harry rushed to embrace her. He didn't even notice he took a life to save his best friend. She was safe, that was all that mattered. And their friendship was restored.
"Harry," Octavia smiled as she embraced him. "I can't believe you're actually going to go through with this."
Harry returned her hug tightly. "Well, as grandpa said, Fate's a bitch."
"Harry. Language," Charlie warned. Lucifer and Stolas chuckled.
Octavia released Harry and joined her father. "Your grace," the father and daughter said, bowing and curtseying to the King.
"Good day," Lucifer bowed back. "And once again, thank you for your time, Prince Stolas."
"I am at your service, your grace," said Stolas. He turned to Charlie and Harry. "Are you ready for this?"
"We are, Prince Stolas," Charlie answered.
"Then let's begin." Stolas backed away and Lucifer approached Charlie.
"Sure I can't change your mind once more? It's your last chance."
"I'm sure, dad," Charlie answered seriously.
"Very well." Lucifer handed Harry his cane. He then grasped Charlie by her face and placed their foreheads together. He began to whisper a chant in the demonic language. The whispers sent chills up Harry's spine as red tendrils of power began to form around his family. Lucifer's chanting grew louder and the energy began to surround his mother. When the chant finished, all the power was sucked into Charlie's body.
When it disappeared, Charlie gave a loud gasp and fell to her knees. Her skin, a pearl white, began to slightly darken into a peach color. Her hair went from a light blonde to a honey-colored blonde. Her red cheeks disappeared, her fangs shrunk to a smaller size, her lips became pink and her eyes became similar to Harry's: white sclera, green irises with black pupils.
But her biggest change came when Harry saw her hooves become human feet with toes.
Charlie was taking deep breaths to calm herself down at the change her body just went through. Then she brought her hands to her face and gazed in wonder at her skin. She pulled her hair from her head to look at her darkened color. But when she saw her toes, she gasped out loud and grasped them.
"Harry! Dad! I've got toes!" she cheered.
Harry rushed to her side and grasped her hand. "Are you okay, mom?"
"I'm fine, sweetie," Charlie assured him. She tried to stand up, but had a little trouble with her balance. "Whoa. Maybe I'm not."
"Give it a few moments," Lucifer said. "Your new body will adjust quickly to the change."
Harry helped his mom as she began to take a few, wobbly steps. She did quickly learn how to keep her balance and was soon running around the room, giggling like a girl as her demons chased her. She slowed down and began to grip the carpet with her new toes.
"Oh, that's nice," Charlie giggled. "Very soft."
Lucifer waved his hand and a pair of flats appeared in the air. "This transformation will last exactly 150 days. When it ends, Stolas will bring you back to Hell. So any information you seek will have to be done by Dec. 17."
"I understand," Charlie said as she put her new shoes on.
"Charlie," Lucifer said seriously. He grasped her by her shoulders. "This is a full-human transformation. You will not be able to use your powers to help you. You will feel pain, you will feel hunger, and you can bleed. More importantly, you can die."
"She can?" Harry asked disbelievingly.
"It's what I wanted, Harry," Charlie explained. "When I said I wanted to experience what it was like to live as a Sinner, I meant the full experience."
"She won't become a Sinner if she does die," Lucifer reassured him. "But the pain and the dread of actually passing away will be real."
"What about sicknesses?" asked Harry.
"I created her body to fight all diseases that require a human inoculation. Measles, chicken pox, and others. But she will suffer through colds, headaches, muscle cramps, and…her monthlies."
"Her what?" asked a confused Harry.
Everybody, including Razzle and Dazzle, suddenly looked uncomfortable.
"I'll tell you another time, sweetie," said a blushing Charlie. It looked different on her new face.
"However," Lucifer interrupted. "I will not be letting you go to Earth unprotected." He waved his cane and enveloped Razzle and Dazzle with a red power. The goatdragons transformed into two red bracelets that wrapped around Charlie's wrists. "This way they will be with you at all times. But unless it's an emergency, keep them in this form. We can't let Sinners know who you are."
Charlie stroked her bracelets lovingly. "I know. Hopefully I won't need their help."
Octavia stepped forward and handed Harry a mirror. "Here. This is for you."
"Um. Thanks. Vanity is my favorite sin after all," Harry said.
Octavia rolled her eyes. "It's a scrying mirror, you plebian. We will be able to communicate with each other while you're on the surface."
"Oh. Thanks!" Harry said as he hugged her. "This way I don't have to make any new friends and can just talk to you."
"Make friends," Octavia ordered. "That way you can introduce them to me when I come visit."
Harry's eyes widened. "You're going to visit?"
"If she can learn her transformation spells before you leave for Hogwarts," said Stolas as he put a wing on her shoulder. "You're trip to the mortal realm inspired her to learn the Goetia Family's grimoire."
Octavia snapped her fingers and a purple flame appeared on her middle fingertip. "Check it out."
"Awesome," said Harry as he placed the mirror in his bag.
Prince Stolas approached Harry and placed his wing on the boy's shoulder. "I'm so honored to have been your teacher, my boy. For the past year, you have proven yourself as a model student and a true Prince of Hell. I couldn't be prouder of you if you were my own son."
"Thank you. For everything, Prince Stolas," said Harry.
Stolas pulled Harry in a gentle hug and quickly let go. He then pushed Octavia forward, who was rolling her eyes at her dad's behavior. But she pulled Harry into another tight hug.
"I'm really going to miss you," she whispered to him.
"And I'm going to miss you, too."
"You better beat this prophecy."
"I will. Count on that."
She pulled away, discreetly wiping a tear from her eye. Harry turned around to see Lucifer giving Charlie last minute instructions on what to expect on Earth. The two then embraced each other tightly. Harry made his way over as Lucifer released her. Charlie left them alone and went to talk to Stolas. Harry approached his grandfather.
"Scythe?"
"Right here," Harry showed him his palm.
"Books?"
"Packed."
"Cat?"
"Annoyed, but ready to go."
"Well, then. I guess there is nothing more to say."
"Grandpa," Harry groaned with annoyance.
Lucifer grinned, showing his sharp teeth. "Just kidding, kiddo. But seriously, are you ready for this?"
"I believe so. There is no way to prepare to face a dark lord when one of us is going to kill the other. Hopefully, it won't happen within the first few months."
"Don't even joke about that," Lucifer warned. "If I wasn't prevented from interfering, I would have buried this sorry excuse for a dark lord years ago and wiped his existence from this universe."
"I know, grandpa," Harry reassured him. "I won't let you down."
Lucifer sighed and placed his hands on Harry's shoulders. "Harry, I want you to promise me something."
"I will take of mom. I'll protect her with my life."
"And I appreciate that, but that's not what I meant. I want to promise me that you will do everything in your power to survive. Do everything you can to win and return to your family. Your king commands it."
"I will. On my word as a prince," Harry assured Lucifer.
"Good. But you are more than just a prince," Lucifer said as he embraced the boy. "You are my grandson."
Harry grinned into his grandfather's suit. It always cheered him up whenever he admitted they were family, even though Harry will always be a Sinner.
The two stayed together for a long moment. Then Lucifer patted him gently on the shoulder and they separated.
"Now, go kick some ass. And remember-"
"A Morningstar doesn't take shit from anybody" said Harry and Lucifer together.
"That's my boy," Lucifer finished.
Harry turned away and walked back to his mother, who was hugging Octavia goodbye. She pulled away, wiped her eyes, and looked at Harry.
"Ready to go?" asked Charlie.
Harry nodded. "Ready."
"Then let us begin," said Prince Stolas. The demon's eyes glowed a bright blue and his form began to change. His feathers disappeared, his skin became white, his second pair of eyes vanished into his head, and gray hair appeared on his head. His talons vanished, becoming feet. This was his human disguise.
"With your permission," said Stolas. Lucifer nodded. Stolas pulled his grimoire from his jacket. He read the spell in the demonic language. On the wall of the parlor, a pentagram appeared and a portal opened, flushing the room with air. Smells Harry had never experienced before wafted through the opened doorway. A light brighter than anything Harry had seen made him blink.
Stolas shut his book and waved his hand to the portal. "Let us leave quickly."
Harry, Charlie, and Salem, who drifted out of the shadows, stepped through the portal. Harry had to blink more as the light kept him blinded. When he finally adjusted, he was finally looking at the sun for the first time in his life.
Both him and his mother gasped as they took in the sight around them. The portal opened into a field filled with green grass and wildflowers. A forest of trees covered the landscape to their left while a large city could be seen in the distance on their right. The sky was magnificent blue and seem to stretch forever, dotted with fluffy, white clouds.
"Beautiful," said Charlie as she held her hands to her mouth.
"Indeed," said Stolas as he walked through the portal. It immediately closed behind him. "That city on the horizon is London. It should be a good place start a new life for you Charlie and for Harry to have a home address for his Hogwarts letter."
He pulled a folder hidden in his jacket and handed it to Charlie. "Here is all the paperwork you need. Birth certificates, medical records, school records, official adoption papers for Harry, and National Insurance numbers. Also, I'm giving you 5000 pounds to get started. It should be enough to find a place to live, groceries, and some home necessities. Princess, I strongly suggest you use this money sparingly. Even if you find a job."
"I will," Charlie promised as she placed the folder in her suitcase.
"And there is your ride," said Stolas as he pointed to a small bus stop Harry didn't notice earlier. "The date is July, 1 1991. The time is 8:30 am Standard London Time. In ten minutes, a bus will arrive to take you to the city." He handed Harry the tickets. "Best of luck to you all."
"Thanks once again, Prince Stolas."
"Of course, your grace." With a wave of his hands, another portal opened in the air. Stolas quickly walked through and waved to family as the portal closed.
With that, Harry and Charlie grabbed their luggage and began walking to the bus stop. Salem followed behind, leaping through the green grass in a joyous manner. Harry even plucked a piece from the ground and smelled it.
The duo sat down on the outdoor bench. They were the only ones there. Charlie kept staring at the sky.
"I now understand cloud watching," she said.
"They are pretty," Harry admitted.
They didn't have to wait long for their bus. Harry heard it before he could see it. The large vehicle did look similar to the ones in Hell, but less frightening without yellow eyeballs sticking to it.
Charlie gripped Harry's hand tightly. "Ready?"
Harry nodded. "Ready."
Well, there we go. I want to apologize in advance to any United Kingdom readers. I'm a landlocked country boy who is only using references he reads online about London.
I actually thought about Stolas dropping Harry and Charlie in Little Whinging and even having an encounter with the Dursleys. But I wanted to get the main plot of the first book as soon as I could.
