"well, i have a whole track record of the sengoku era but i haven't read them yet, there is a chance that the one who leads the organization is written there." replied tanjiro

"it seems that this yoriichi, he passed down every knowledge to your family? If that is the case, you may use some knowledge to help you on your quest. And just to put this simple, there is a Selection Exam, which in order to pass, you must survive for a week. If you did, you are to become a demon slayer, and it will be up to me to decide whether you'll attend the Exam or not." says Sakonji

"Understood!" says both siblings.

"and as for you tanjiro, although your father already trained you I'll test you to see how well has he trained you, and while you are at it. you won't be needed your family sword during training." -Sakonji

"understood sensei." replied tanjiro

Nezuko Pov:

'So apparently, my brother received a test and he already passed it, According to our sensei He's already a full fledged swords men, seems like father's training went well. There for, Urokodaki-san is now training only me, while Tanjiro is getting himself into training, making sure this Hinokami Kagura dance to more precise and stronger, as it's known as sun breathing. He sometimes reads books from the sengoku era to learn more. While he's at it, My training remains as simple in the beginning for the first 6 months.

I started to run down the mountain and willing to do it every day, by avoiding traps, to make sure my reflexes gets strong and not to die at the final selection, After that, i get to swing my sword if not just 1000 times but rather 500 more times, and the same goes for push ups. As for Sword weilding, Swords snaps easily which means i must swing myself along with the blade and if the blade snaps, so will my bones. That's some kind of threat Urokodaki-san gave me. By then, I get to have Urokodaki to train me to get up fast soon after throwing me to the ground, he makes me trip down in different moves till eventually i got used to falling.

Now and then, i begin to run down the mountain with my training Sword in hand, while the traps becomes more deadly, as if Urokodaki is trying to kill me. And it's going well, with that, my next lesson is finally breathing techniques, According to what father taught Tanjiro, mastering a correct way to breath prevents you from getting exhausted, Urokodaki trained me how to Weild Total concentration Breathing and it took 5 weeks to master it, and With that Tanjiro Alone ends up teaching me how to master, Total Concentration Breathing Constant, which increases your abilities slowly and strong, with that it took me 1 month to master. After that, Urokodaki teaches me Water Breathing, though i managed to master it, it feels a bit off as Tanjiro seems to notice so he decided to teach me Sun Breathing, I managed to master that too but it's slightly heavy as Water Breathing is.

I begin sparring with Tanjiro with wooden swords and he's quite strong with me weilding both water and Sun i did my best to keep up with him, until suddenly i had something in mind, Combining Techniques, as it's very common to use it, so i Tried Mixing Water and Sun at the same time and it feels good and much better, as i managed to adapt such combination, and i begin to have pink flames coming out of my arms to my sword and i managed to get used to mixing techniques, even though i lost to my brother since he's far stronger then me, I found my own breathing technique, My combination of Water and Sun feels much better. Though it seems like me having pink flames was something unexpected, Urokodaki Took a blood sample of mine and i ended up manipulating it into exploding it every where and yet nothing got burned besides some things getting a push back from shock waves, as Urokodaki speculates, i have obtained myself a blood demon art, a caster spell which manifests on what comes to a demon's motivation, since my desire to slay and burn demons for harming humans, i may have manifested it out of my will to burn demons, this pink flames gave no effect on anything and it doesn't seem to burn anyone, not even us, so if my resentment towards demons is what it manifested then it only burns demons.

With that, i was able to develop my Breathing Technique called blood breathing, A mixture of Water and sun.'

By then 6 more months have passed until suddenly'

"there is nothing else for me to teach you, You are getting there as you unlocked your breathing technique quite early as a student. And since you and your brother is fully trained, there is one last thing left." Urokodaki takes the siblings towards 2 large boulders with him saying "if you 2 managed to slice your boulder in 2, then you are worthy in attending the final selection."

Urokodaki leaves as Nezuko tried but she couldn't, But Tanjiro managed to slice it in his first try Shooking nezuko into core in surprise, Urokodaki looked back and was amazed that he did it. "im impressed Tanjiro, Your father trained you well."

"Well done onichan." says nezuko in such joy

"thanks Urokodaki-san and nezuko." says Tanjiro goes to nezuko and says "Nezuko, I know this will take a while for you to finish your last task but i know you will. Until then, I'll be going."

"wait, your leaving?" asked nezuko while stunned to hear it.

"it's okay nezuko, I'll be okay on my own. I promise, I'll be a pillar by the time you'll be a demon slayer in like next year." says Tanjiro as nezuko starting to cry and started Hugging him saying "please come back alive Onichan."

"i will nezuko." replied Tanjiro as he hugs her back.

Urokodaki says "so, your going to attend it?"

"like you assured me, if i can slice it in 2, then i can attend the selection exam." replied Tanjiro as Urokodaki says "very well. Tanjiro"

Urokodaki begins cooking food for Tanjiro as he is surprised "it smell's delicious."

"it's your graduation Tanjiro, eat, you've earned it." Says Sakonji as he gives tanjiro food.

"thank you." says tanjiro as he eats it as well as nezuko does since she's hungry too.

"Tanjiro, in all my life i never seen a sun breathing technique being used in person and here and now you are quite stronger then me, you're more about Pillar strength as i can assure you." Says Urokodaki

"I know, my father trained me in a way it gets me exhausted until then i can no longer feel tired since I've mastered sun breathing. There is a chance i might obtain a demon slayer mark." replies Tanjiro as he continues eating

"demon slayer mark? the one from the golden age?" asked sakonji in curiosity

"Yes, it's something that gives you immense strength and speed, I haven't manifested it yet, but i will eventually if i ever gotten into a life threatening state, but at a cost you die at the age of 25, but for a sun breath user you die at age 35." says Tanjiro

"that explains father's passing as well as our grandfather's at that age, this demon slayer mark is running in our blood." Says nezuko while she's worried from hearing that.

"Sounds really dangerous, you may as well stay strong when your at it." replied Sakonji

"i will." says Tanjiro as He faces to his family sword which is kept handled and cleaned well.
