Loki was crouched over the tank in the market. Matthew Homunculi # 12 was next to him looking over the tanks and nodding in approval.
"Get that one!" the boy said. "It's the healthiest."
"Right," Loki said. "Sir, we'll take this one."
"What do you plan on doing with it?"
"It's a gift for my daughter," Loki said.
"She's my niece today?" MH #12 said.
"She's not biologically related to you but yes."
"Sir, I don't care!" MH #12 said.
"Do you have the-"
"Yes!" Loki and MH #12 said together. MH#12 showing the man the permits.
"Oh my gods and goddess, divinity and stars this is the coolest shop I've ever been to!" MH #12's friend, a young black man that Loki couldn't remember if his name was Alex and Christian or something else.
"Stop acting like a no-mag," MH #12 said. "Or I won't be able to bring you to places like this." MH #12 said fiddling with his lip ring and grumbling. "Let's get out of here before the Aurors show up. Racism is still a problem in these parts."
"Eeh," The black man, whatever his name was. "Yeah, let's." They made their purchase and headed out toward the portkey they'd set up. "I am so excited to use a portkey!"
"What is this racism thing you keep talking about? Is all of midgard closed minded, of the fact that we are all the same." Loki said, looking Disgusted.
"Yes," the two young men said.
"I'm going to pick you up when we use the portkey, so you don't break your ankles or something," MH #12 said.
"Thanks," the other said.
"No prob Mitch," MH #12 said.
"Mitch! Your name is Mitch!" Loki said.
***Little Skippy***
The three arrived at the house a little while later. Jazz and Arsinry were in the living room watching a movie.
"That's Marry Poppins," Jazz said.
"Oh! So, she's a - uh- witch as you Midgardians would refer," they asked.
"No, maybe," Jazz said. "I don't know. She's a nanny though."
"And that's…" Arsinry said.
"We're back!" Loki said.
"Mom! Ness! And you…?"
"Sorry, I'm a friend of Ness's, well, I mean we work together," the black man said.
"Yeah," Ness said. "It's good to see you two!"
"It's good to see you too!" Jazz and Arsinry said together.
"Hi, Mitch!" Jazz said. "Been a while. Where's the rest of the gang?"
"Lilith is working, Nori is studying for her finals, and Tyler's got football," Mitch said.
"Ah! That explains why you're not filming, and why Ness is acting like a person with more than one brain cell," Jazz teased.
"It's called method acting," MH #12 said. Settling into the couch seat. "Your dad bought you something cool."
"Oh?" Arsinry said. "Is that what the box is about?"
"Yes!" Loki said.
"So?
"Just tell if it's another dragon," Jazz said.
"Oh yes where are those little ones? They should be out roaming the house," Loki said.
"They certainly should not!" Jazz said. "They're in their tank for their safety and the environments."
"What's in the box?!" Arsinry grumbled, hoping to stop another argument.
"Ah! A - what did you call it?"
"Runespoor," MH #12 explained.
"Rune door," Loki said.
"Yeah," MH #12 said. "Runespoor."
"Oh!" Arsinry said, pulling the small, young three headed snake out of the box.
"He doesn't have any problem with snakes and dragons but anything else and it's no…" Jazz trailed, forcing a smile on, that turned genuine rather quickly. "It's very cute."
"Isn't it!" Arsinry said.
"It was the only one with all its heads. Too young to have bit it off I'm sure," MH #12 said. "You should keep an eye on that by the way."
"What?! Does the shop not know the right way to handle the reptile?" Arsinry said, sounding very upset.
"Probably not, "Parstletongues are eViL'" MH #12 mocked. "So the left head is the planner, they make sure it's fed, and kept away from danger. The middle head is the dreamer. The right head is the critic. That ones the one that can get bitten off if you're not careful. It will criticize the others until they get annoyed with it." MH #12 explained. "You have allspeak right?" Arsinry nodded. "You'll be fine. So, watching Marry Poppins huh?"
"Cool, yeah," Arsinry says, settling between the two. Loki taking up a spot between Jazz and Arsinry and MH#12's friend settled on the arm of the sofa over Ness.
