Now onto the story.

A New Team
"Here we are." Black Panther said.
"Um…" Lucas began, unsure how to address his son at this point.
Black Panther just shook his head and led them down into the hidden location. Once they were all down they looked around, all except the Avengers were shocked at the sight. It was an abandoned subway station, currently on the unused tracks.
"Follow us." White Tiger explained.
With that they all climbed up onto the platform and moved over to one corner and, although the parents couldn't see what was going on, they saw the result. Namely part of the tracks had opened up and a subway car raised from the grounds, one that contained a lot of electronics.
"This is just one part of it." Eddie explained after removing his mask.
He led the way onto the train car and began typing a few things on one of the computers there.
"What is this?" Mike asked at last.
"A place Jake found." Amanda went on to explain. "He saw how useful it would be, showed it to us and we turned it into our secret base."
As she said this, Eddie finished with the computer and two more cars raised from the fake tracks, a few of the walls also opened up, to show plenty of equipment, spare suits and other things that were no doubt the secret of the Avengers successes.
"This is...whoa?" Max gasped.
The Avengers all smiled.
Stepping up and showing them around, explaining the various uses for the equipment, they all shared a look and nodded.
"Alright, so...here's the big problem." Stephanie said at last. "We appreciate that you're wanting to stand by us...but, this is more dangerous than you think. You guys haven't fought anything like this before."
She addressed the groups beloveds at that last part.
Matthew picked things up, addressing their parents. "We know you guys have fought these monsters from the Upside-down before, but they're different now, stronger, since Venom has bonded them with Symbiotes."
"So...we have to be extra careful." Terry continued. "So, understand this, if you're going to fight with us, you absolutely cannot take any chances, any risks."
"We've got that, and we know the risks." Jane explained. "But we're not backing down, we can't leave you to face this alone."
The Avengers all shared warm smiles at that, touched by the concern and obvious love from their parents and beloveds.
"Alright then, let's do this...everyone get what you need." Eddie said quickly. "We're gonna need to put ourselves to the test right away, another one of those Symbiote bio-domes has just popped up in Queens."
With that they all reacted quickly, gearing up and preparing to join the fight, things were about to change.

They arrived in time to see the dome was already at work, people trapped within were turning into Symbiotes, meanwhile at least three full grown Demogorons were stalking around inside, catching anyone trying to hide.
"Okay, based on what happened last time, we're looking for the core here, it'll be hidden somewhere within the dome, a solid mass." Wasp explained. "Before you ask, the reason we insisted you get kitted out like that, just like us...is to protect you from the dome, it seems it requires skin contact to consume you."
The parents and beloveds, geared up and wearing outfits which covered any exposed skin, all nodded and the Avengers readied themselves.
"Alright, let's go...we'll take the Demogorons." Blue Bullet stated.
Speed Demon spoke up. "I'll find the core, I can search the whole dome quicker."
Holly sighed but nodded. "Alright, we'll try and subdue the people being affected by this."
They all confirmed their roles and, all prepared, they made their way into the dome. Almost as soon as they did however, Will gasped, startling the others.
"Will?" Mike asked worriedly for his husband.
Will let out a slow breath. "It's...It's different, but, I've felt this before."
"What?" The others gasped.
But they had no time, for at that moment, they were attacked and had to focus on the fight, especially as two of the Demogorons already tried to attack them. The Avengers split into two groups to focus on one each, worried about the third. But thankfully their parents and beloveds were up to the task of handling the infected people, they just hoped that Speed Demon would find the core quickly.
It was a tense battle but finally, after some careful moves, several of the infected humans were subdued by the family and beloveds of the Avengers, this brief reprieve gave Mike the chance.
"Will, what did you mean? How this is familiar?"
Will grimaced and shook his head. "The Demogorons and their other evolutionary stages are simple foot soldiers, the infected ones mere slaves...but these domes, I'm positive. It's basically a Symbiote infected Mind Flayer."
That made them freeze, shocked and horrified, but now they understood things better. It made more sense now how the infections within the dome were spreading so quickly.
"A Mind Flayer, that's all we need...look out!" Robin began before calling out.
With that they dodged as the third Demogoron tried to attack them. Reacting just as she had years ago, Jane thrust out her hand and blasted it backwards.
"Max, help me out here." She said to her wife. "I've got this one, you guys go and help...Speed Demon."
As she said that last part she nodded to the girl in question who was drawing their attention. They rushed over, moving around any infected humans while the battles against the three Demogorons continued. Sure enough they found the core and got to work trying to destroy it, just as had happened before, with their timing being impressive, just as the Demogorons were defeated, the core was shattered and the dome began to fall apart and the infected humans were returning to normal.
Quickly regrouping back in their new base, the Avengers all smiled at the others.
"That was awesome, I'm glad we gave things a chance and didn't let our worries stop us." Matthew remarked.
The others all grinned, overjoyed but then things became serious as Will explained what he had discovered about the dome, how it was a Mind Flayer and now they realized things were going to go from bad to worse for everyone, especially Jake who they were now all worried about even more.
