Also, Val still has her powers to open portals.
So far, the people in San Francisco are being evacuated from the city. The transport ships are near Dolores Park, Oracle Park, or San Francisco Bay, allowing the ships to land and carry off the people to safety. Schools and Hospitals were the first to be evacuated, making sure that the students and patients' families are aware of their location, before getting the rest of the people out. Many people wanted to get out of the city after what they saw in Hawaii from the news. Desperate parents and family members needed to reunite with their children and relatives that were taken first to the evacuation island. It was fortunate for them that Trinity Industry has giant ships that get everyone out of there. Of course, the Avengers and the S.H.I.E.L.D. were helping them, getting the people to safety. They got the call from Spider-Man to evacuate everyone from San Francisco as soon as possible.
"Everyone! Stay in a straight line! No rushing in!" Giovanna ordered, watching many people staying in line as they entered the aircraft. "We'll reach the safe zone soon, as long as you all cooperate with us!"
Just then, a woman carrying a toddler (girl) was rushing over to Giovanna. "Mam, please stay in line."
"I know, I know…I just need to know if the students in Francisco Middle School have been evacuated? I have a daughter about twelve years old, her name is Sandra Wilmer."
Giovanna looks at her briefly before bringing up her arm with her wrist communicator. "Evac Squadron, have the students of Francisco Middle School been evacuated?"
-Affirmative, Beta Leader, all students are safe and accounted for.- Came a reply.
"Send me a list of students."
-Copy that.-
A holographic screen appeared in front of Giovanna showing the student list of Francisco Middle School. She searches for Sandra Wilmer and the screen finds the girl. Her picture came in, showing that she has long brown hair and eyes, wearing a jean jacket with a pink shirt underneath it. Giovanna shows the picture to the worried mother.
"Is this her?" Giovanna shows the mother the picture of Sandra.
The mother exhales a long gasp that she holds in at the sight of her daughter being okay. "Oh, thank god, she made it."
"It's said here; that your daughter is placed in the Refugee Center, awaiting for her family members before being assigned to their cabins."
"Thank you…Thank you so much." The mother said thankfully.
"You are welcome, now please move along, you and the parents or guardians will reunite with your children."
The mother nodded and carried her toddler to the ship. Giovanna watches her enter, hurrying to her seat. She understood how worried the mother was. It is hard to not know what would happen to your child. Soon, she got a call from her brother, informing her that the military is stationed at Lone Pine, readying the bomb to be transported by train. Also, the two MUTOs and Godzilla were heading their way, still far, but moving fast. Their team deployed the Jaeger and is heading this way soon. Giovanna knows they have to speed this up, otherwise, they will be between a battle of giants.
While she and the evac team get the people to safety, a small team is sent to Lone Pine, disguised as soldiers, searching for Ford Brody.
Speaking of Ford, he was able to hitch a ride by a military transport plane. He got word from the Sergeant that there was another MUTO appearing in Nevada along with an unknown creature fighting it. He learns that this creature (who was Destiny) was fighting the new MUTO with great ferocity and saving people that were trapped in the building that was falling off. What's even more weird are the giant ants that came to the city, but instead of attacking, they were saving the citizens and taking them to safety. Ford was actually surprised by this sudden income. Yet worried at the same time since more and more monsters are coming out of nowhere because of the awakening of the MUTOs. He needs to find a way to end this and get to his family.
Afterwards, the plane landed nearby in Lone Pine, California. Ford was loaded up in a military truck with Sergeant Morales and others as they headed out to prepare to fight the monsters. The town itself was fortified and overrun with military personnel. Vehicles blocking off several streets to civilians (who were being evacuated by Trinity Industry). Rows of soldiers marched through the streets with others pouring over supplies and transporting, loading and unloading equipment.
The truck finally came to a stop, with a few soldiers helping drop the back to let Ford and the others out.
"Okay, everybody out!" A soldier ordered. "Can't fly any further. We're well in rage of its EMP. So from here on out, it's on the ground or it's not at all. Let's go!"
Ford hopped out of the truck and took a look around, taking in his surroundings. He took notice of the fact that a train with a nuclear warhead was coming in. Ford's mouth dropped slightly but no sound came out of it. This is an unwelcome development because the last thing Ford needed was a nuke being involved in this massive mess.
"All right, listen up! This train and these weapons are headed to San Francisco! Anyone not part of this mission disembark, now!" A soldier yelled out as the train that was carrying the nuke was being checked upon.
Ford immediately found an opportunity to help and stop these creatures if he rode with the train, but he couldn't just jump aboard, because it would lead him in a world of trouble. Insubordination didn't go over well with most higher ups. So, he turned around and walked into the nearest building being used as a planning room and found the highest ranking officer, so he could try and convince them to let him on board.
"Negative. Can't do it, Sir." Said the Master Sergeant, Marcus Waltz, as he and Ford entered the building, "This is a high risk mission. That train out there is a national asset, not Amtrak." He then walked up to two soldiers, loading up the device. "Are we good to go?"
"Just about."
"From the look on those casings on those minuteman ICBMs, the digital module's been bypassed and you're prepping for full analogue retrofit."
"Is my jaw supposed to drop? I get it, you're EOD." Master Sergeant Waltz said to Ford, patting his shoulder before walking past him, "I already got my crew and they know what they're doing."
"Aim the pointy end at the monsters, right, sarge?" Sergeant Morales asked jokingly.
The master sergeant gave him a light smack on the chest with his clipboard as an affirmative response. Sergeant Morales turned to Ford with a playful grin before leaving, yet Ford was not impressed, and came forward.
"When was the last time you let one of your guys put their fingers in a live bomb?"
The master sergeant's face told of his inner worries for an instant, and Ford took advantage of it as best he could. Ford tries again, trying to convince the Master Sergeant to get him on board. Before anyone could speak, a soldier came over to them.
"Sir, gotta call from the higher ups, we need to bring an EOD on this mission." The soldier said.
"What? Since when?" Master Sergeant Waltz questions the soldier.
"Just now, they need all hands on deck for that bomb, they fear that it might malfunction during transport." Said the Soldier.
Master Sergeant Waltz sighs, knowing that there could be a possibility that this bomb might go off on its own and it would trouble his team. Looking towards Ford, Master Sergeant Waltz has no choice.
"Suit up and get on the train, we leave at fifteen hundred," Master Sergeant Waltz ordered Ford before leaving to check on the equipment.
Ford sighs in relief, one step further in stopping those beasts. Before he could leave, the soldier that was still there gave Ford a strange device.
"What is this?" Ford looks at the device in confusion.
"It is a communicator to contact your wife." The Soldier said to him.
Ford's eyes widened by this information and was about to ask the soldier, but he was gone, like the wind. The mysterious soldier, a clone Stefano, was hidden amongst the crowd, secretly informing Marco of the success of giving Ford the device. He leaves while For was looking around in confusion. The EOD wonders who was that soldier, but then his wife and son come to mind and he quickly tries to figure out how to use it. Suddenly, it opened by itself, surprising him in the process. The device shows an image of his wife as it began to ring.
In a huge remote island, many refugee ships landed on the landing zone, bringing many civilians to the designated cabins. Stefano and Giovanna's clones escorted everyone out of the ships, helping those to reunite with their children and family members. Those who were taken in by private jets were escorted by the clones to their cabin. Elle, Joe, and Sam were being led by North to their cabin that has the number 21. North shows them the bedrooms, kitchen, and bathroom, and the living quarter. There was a TV screen that had channels, including the news media.
"If you need any help, just contact us through this line." North explains to Elle the device that Marco gave her.
Elle nodded gratefully. "Thank you so much."
North nodded as he leaves them be but not before he informs Elle that a doctor shall come and check on Joe. Sam was looking around the cabin, curious upon everything. Joe was keeping an eye on him and decided to distract the young boy by playing with his dinosaur toys. Sam, of course, happily plays along, spending time with his grandpa. As they play, Elle's communicator suddenly rang and saw the image of her husband. She quickly answers his call with tears that threaten to fall from her eyes.
"Hello? Ford?" She answered as the Ford appeared from the holographic screen.
-Elle…- Ford responded in relief to see his wife okay.
"Ford, thank God you're okay." She said softly, trying to hold her tears back. "I've been calling you everywhere...are you okay?" She asked frantically.
-Yeah, I'm fine.- Ford assures her. -What about you? Are you all right? How's Sam and my dad?-
"W…we're fine, we're all fine. Joe's been keeping Sam distracted…I can't believe this is happening," Elle said, holding her forehead. "Ford…a-are you doing okay?" Elle asked again.
-I'm okay. Elle, please don't worry.-
"Baby, I'm so scared right now…I can't keep calm…"
-I know. I'm gonna be there soon. Okay? The military has a plan to deal with those things. I'm coming there soon, okay?-
"Okay. Can you please just hurry? I'm getting scared every passing minute."
-I will…and Elle?-
"Y-Yeah?"
-I just wanted you to know that I love you.-
"I love you too…just…just be safe, okay?" Elle asked, tears threatened to fall from her eyes.
-I'll see you soon. I promise…-
And with that, the call ended. Ford went to his unit while Elle tried her best not to break down in tears. Everything that just happened was so stressful and scary. The news of Hawaii and Las Vegas attacks were overwhelming, and now they were heading to San Francisco. She, Sam, and Joe were fortunate enough to escape beforehand since Ford was acquainted with this Marco person that got them to safety.
"Elle?" Joe came up to her when he saw her scared look. "Are you okay?"
Elle shook her head. "No…I'm just…scared…scared of everything that's happening and scared of losing Ford."
"Hey, hey, knowing Ford, he will be alright." Joe assures her.
"Grandpa! Grandpa! Grandpa! Look! Another dinosaur!" Sam points at the TV.
Elle and Joe look at the screen to see the 3d image of the Second MUTO walking on the map with a huge sphere surrounding it, while objects like tanks and jets are seen being fallen off from the sphere.
-As blackouts and electrical interference radiate farther and farther west, citizens within two hundred miles of the creature's current Sphere of Influence are being urged to please find shelter, stay indoors, and stay off the roads.-
"Oh, God…" Elle covers her mouth as she tries to calm herself, fearing the creature was getting closer to her husband.
Joe didn't take his eyes off the screen. He knew that there were more of those things, he just hoped that his son was okay.
"Watch over our son, Sandra." Joe prayed.
Dark, Spider-Man, Iron Fist, Power Man, and Nova were in the Quinjet, heading towards San Francisco to locate the two MUTOs and Godzilla. So far, they received much info of the MUTOs whereabouts from hacking to the military vessels or through social media. There were many sightings of the Male MUTO and Female MUTO heading to San Francisco. Godzilla was still being persuaded by the military in the water, and they had to find a way to secure those Kaijus before they destroyed all of San Francisco.
"Spidey, any statues of the two MUTOs?" Dark asked, piloting the jet.
Spider-Man activates the screen to see the two MUTOs and Godzilla's signal. Their tracking devices were way advanced and it was tracking the Kaijus' radiation signatures, without any interference from the MUTOs' EMP.
"They're still in route, hopefully the evac team got the people of San Francisco out of there." Spider-Man said to Dark.
"Not all of them," White Tiger said to Spider-Man, looking at the screen of her own. "Some of the residents are yet to evacuate in some areas."
"Crap, White Tiger, send a message to nearby S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents and other young heroes to assist them, we have a lot of ground to cover."
"On it." White Tiger types in the message.
"Iron Fist, any more info from the USS Saratoga?" Dark asked Iron Fist.
"Yes, apparently, Admiral Stenz was on the phone with the president, the mission of the bomb was approved." Iron Fist answers Dark.
"Ugh, why can't they learn that bombs are never the answer?" Dark said in annoyance with a sigh. "Any more details?"
"The nuke is being transported by train, heading towards San Francisco." Iron Fist explains.
"Okay, we're going after the train before one of the MUTOs do." Dark said to her team.
"Why?" Nova asked.
"Nova, nuclear weapons produce ionizing radiation, and the MUTOs need radiation to feed on. And that nuclear warhead has radiation which they can absorb." Dark explained it to Nova. "Devlin explained it to us back at the island, remember?"
"…"
"Goddammit, Nova, did you forget already?" Dark asked in annoyance.
"Hey! It was hard to remember when you showed us a giant robot battle suit!" Nova defended.
"I remember it." Val answered, sitting next to Nova.
"Hey, don't be in conversation, Val." Nova said blankly until a few seconds later his eyes widened and turned to Val with wide eyes. "Val?!"
"Hi!" Val greeted him kindly.
All eyes turned towards Val, sitting casually on one of the jet's seats, with her satchel on her lap.
"Kiddo!? How the hell did you get in here?!" Dark asked in alarm.
"I snuck arbored with Celestia when no one was looking." Val answered, and her little dragon popped out from her satchel, crooning at them.
"Guess the Yautjas training the kids about stealth finally paid off." Dark said with a sigh. "Kiddo, why are you here?"
"I felt something strange when I saw the female MUTO in Vegas." Val answers to Dark.
"What do you mean?" Dark questions the young girl.
"I don't know but…it feels like they want to go somewhere safe…but it's far…"
"How far?" Dark asked further.
"I don't know just…far…" Val responded to her.
Dark was silent, thinking about her words. Dark knows something was up, and that these Kaijus have more secrets. For instance, how can they live and survive Earth for all those years, surviving the greatest catastrophes for billions of years. She recalled reading an ancient archive about how Kaijus lived amongst the dinosaurs and survived the great catastrophe. Then they used to live amongst humans and were worshipped as gods. Then thousands years later, they disappeared and became a story of myths.
She contacted Yunna to base and asked her to do more research of the Kaijus since her clan has knowledge of these creatures for ages. She then flies the jet to the destination of the nuclear bomb that was being transferred by train. From what Iron Fist pulled out from the USS Saratoga that the first bomb, Castle Bravo, didn't kill Godzilla because it was a fifteen megaton blast. But this modern nuclear warheads such as the one are using is capable of reaching in excess of sixty Megatons. Since the energy released becomes exponentially higher, believing that it would finally kill Godzilla along with the two MUTOs. However, they will still survive and absorb radiation.
However, things started to escalate when the Female MUTO was close to the train tracks where the nuke was being transferred. Dark quickly flew the jet to the destination as fast as it could, knowing the consequences that would come.
Even though the nukes are sealed, it didn't stop the female MUTO from going after it. It was heading towards the bridge, where the nuke was supposed to cross. Dark quickly gets the jet into autopilot and orders Val to get on the magic satchel, which she did. Dark then took out necklaces with white gemstones.
"Okay, put these on, now." Dark ordered her team.
"What are these?" Spider-Man asked.
"They are flight necklaces, since the MUTO has an EMP energy, so jetpacks are out of the options. But these will allow you guys to fly." Dark explains to the team.
"Because magic has no effect on the EMP." Iron Fist said in understanding.
"Correctamundo! Now, let's go! And Val, stay hidden! We're bringing soldiers in!" Dark ordered.
"Okay!" Val said as she retreated into the bag.
The heroes got off the jet and used the necklace to help them fly, except Nova, he doesn't need them since he can fly. And sure enough, the Female MUTO was at the bridge, going to the source of the radiation while the soldiers below were trying to kill her by shooting, but to no avail. The Female MUTO roars and uses her massive leg to smash onto the ground, breaking the bridge. The soldiers would have fallen to their doom, but the heroes saved them in a nick of time, bringing them to the quinjet.
"Are there more soldiers coming?" Dark asked, bringing the last soldier in the jet.
"At the other side, they're escorting the train of VIP cargo headed for the coast." Said a soldier.
Dark understands and quickly tells everyone to strap up as they go after the train while the tanks and vehicles. The Female MUTO of course reaches there before them as she destroys the train. Power Man, White Tiger, Iron Fist, and Nova saved the soldiers before they could get killed while Dark and Spider-Man rescued Ford and Sergeant Morales. The two men would have fallen to their doom if it wasn't for Dark and Spider-Man saving them in time.
"HOLY SHIT! YOU'RE SPIDER-MAN!" Sergeant Morales exclaims in surprise as Spider-Man carries him.
"The one and only!" Spider-Man said before they reached the jet. "Buckle up, we have to get out of here before the MUTO releases another EMP."
"Way ahead of you, Spidey!" Dark said before taking control of the jet to move out of the female MUTO's reach.
They were able to get away from the EMP as the female MUTO devoured most of the warheads. Dark had to take them to San Francisco fast and contact everyone to move out of the area as soon as possible.
When hours passed, the Female MUTO was gone, the sun began to rise. Dark uses the jet's scanner to find any source of radiation. They need to search for any possible nuke that survived, they can't leave any out in the open. Fortunately, her scanner picked up the last remaining warhead. It was still intact and with no damages. Which was good considering that if the warhead was damaged, the whole area would've been polluted by radiation. She landed the jet and allowed the soldiers to check on the nuke. They were lucky that the female MUTO didn't get this. As they checked on it, a helicopter came to view, with a recovery team. Followed by a Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter. The recovery team informed Ford's team that they will be escorting them and the last remaining nuke back to San Francisco.
"It's not gonna work." Dark said blankly, watching from the window of the jet as the warhead was being transported by the chinook helicopter.
Ford and his team were in another chopper. The young heroes were following them by the quinjet. Spider-Man just sighs and looks at Dark with a worried look.
"We tried to reason, but they have orders from their superiors." Spider-Man said to Dark.
"But still…can't they see the plan's not gonna work?" Power Man questions them worriedly.
"There's nothing we can do to convince them." Dark said blankly before turning to the group. "We have other priorities right now, and it is to get everyone out of here before the MUTOs or Godzilla will show up."
"I hope Owen and Marco get here." Spider-Man said.
"What about the HEAT Team with Zilla Jr. and Kaila? Aren't they supposed to help us out here?" Nova asked, remembering the mutated iguana.
"They're in New Zealand, dealing with a swarm of mutated crawfish." Dark responded to them, "Apparently, some of the radiation of that Russian submarine that the Male MUTO attack spilled a bit and got those crawfish into a frenzy."
"Maybe it's a good thing they're not here." Spider-Man said, already imagining the panicked looks of the people of San Francisco.
Val, who was already out of the satchel and sitting on a chair, was looking at the window to see many aircrafts taking the civilians away to safety. She saw a chopper carrying the warhead veer off to another location.
"Where are they taking that?" Val asked, pointing at the warhead.
They looked at the departing warhead. "From what I heard, they're moving it twenty miles off shore, convergence point." Dark answered to Val.
"Why?" Val asked, tilting her head.
"They're gonna lure the three Kaijus there," Dark responded while Val and the others began to look back out towards the nuke, worried about this course of action. "They believe the best course of action is killing three birds, one stone."
"More like endangering the population and the ecosystem." White Tiger mutters, disagreeing with the army's plan.
Dark lands the jet close to the evacuation area and helps out the people. Val stays in the quinjet with Celestia while the others help with the evacuation. Few of the evac aircrafts took off as they continued loading many people on board. The nuke was loaded up onto one of the warships in the bay, and prepared to move out when the alarms started blaring again. Alerting them to pick up the pace as something was coming from the Pacific.
Dark was getting a African/American mother with her three children into the aircraft, assuring them that they'll be fine and will locate father when they arrive. When she helps settle them in, she checks on the others and to see that they are getting as many people out of here as possible. They were fortunate that everyone was wise enough to get out of their cars and make their way on foot since Spider-Man broadcast that everyone got out of their cars and went on foot because it was causing a traffic jam. So far, everyone got out of their cars and the buildings, and made their way to the aircrafts.
"How much time do we have left?" Dark asked Spider-Man.
"Just 25 percent of the population are almost out of the city, Dark." Spider-Man said, helping an elderly man into the ship.
"Kick it to high gear, we don't know when the MUTOs and Godzilla will come." Dark said, looking at the cloud filled sky. "Are there any people on the bridge?" She asked, referring to the Golden Gate Bridge.
"Everyone's out of there, safe and sound, just in time too. Because I heard from one of the evacs that Godzilla was coming close to the Golden Gate Bridge." Spider-Man informed her.
Dark sighs in frustration. "It won't be long before the MUTOs arrive." She looked at the crowd of people and yelled out. "MOVE IT, PEOPLE! DOUBLE TIME!"
As the people quickly hurried, it started to rain. People were getting scared of the incoming danger as the three monsters were coming this way. Meanwhile, at the waters of San Francisco Bay, some soldiers on a smaller nearby naval vessel gathered on the deck. Preparing the bomb for their final attack against the three giants.
"Prepare to arm the device!" The leading soldier called out.
The men all gathered around the warhead, removing the metallic shielding from the device's inner workings.
"Arming keys!"
Two men stood side by side, each placing a key into the slots for manual analog start up.
"Three!… Two!… One!"
The two soldiers turned the keys precisely at the same time, and the device activated. The gears started turning, and the countdown began. One hour and thirty minutes was all they had now until detonation. It was enough for them to get to safety, far from the explosion's reach. However, at that moment before they could set the bomb away, a strange sound echoed through the skies above them, followed by a large pulse wave of some kind that tore through the sky, like an invisible blade.
Soon, all the lights in the city that are close range suddenly shut off, along with the cars, buses, and every machinery. Including the evac aircrafts and the engines of the vessels in the water all shut down as well leaving them all dead in the water. Everyone was confused, especially the civilians, they were scared and nervous on what's happening.
"What's happening? What's going on? Why the powers out?" Nova asked nervously, looking around the blackout city.
Spider-Man, White Tiger, Iron Fist, and Dark knew what's happening.
"It was an EMP." Dark answered, her eyes widened, "They're here…"
Just then, one of the male clones called out to them. "Engines are down!"
"Turn on the backup power!" Dark called back to them.
"We're trying! It will take ten minutes to get back on!" Called out a female clone.
"Shit…" Dark mutters in annoyance before turning to her team and the evac team. "Get these people in those ships ASAP. The MUTOs are here and hungry for the last of the nukes."
Obeying her command, they hurriedly get everyone into the ships, while the pilots were trying to get the engines back on. During this, Dark observed her surroundings, searching for any signs of danger. Everything was quiet in the city, yet she knew something was wrong. It didn't last long as she noticed a soldier's parachute could be seen cutting through the haze of the rain clouds.
"The fuck?" Dark mutters out in confusion.
Just before she could process what's going on, when out of nowhere, a jet crashed into one of the neighboring buildings behind them, and exploded on contact as its fuel caught fire. Breaking it and the building in the process. The people screamed in panic while the team tried to calm them down.
Dark realizes that the jets were near the MUTO's EMP, forcing the pilots to eject to escape their falling jets. She realizes that MUTOs are here, and they need to get everyone out of here. She told her team to get the people to safety once their engines are back on and that she and Spider-Man had to the San Francisco Bay to get to the soldier with the ticking time bomb. As they rush to the bay, they saw many jets started falling from the sky. Of course, the pilot's ejector seats managed to work, and there were parachutes everywhere as the jets all went down, either a building of the water.
One jet falls close to the vessel that has the bomb, making everyone duck for cover against the resulting wall of water. Then, a horrible roar came from above, and the soldiers brought weapons up and looked to the skies, seeing the male MUTO descending fast on their position in a straight dive bomb.
"SHIT! Spider-Man! Slingshot!" Dark ordered.
"On it!" Spider-Man uses his webs to grab onto Dark before fling her to the vessel.
Dark was like a speeding bullet as she quickly reached the vessel while the Male MUTO was closing in with his jaws wide open.
"Lacunae Magicae!" Dark yelled out her incantation, teleporting her and the soldiers out of the vessel in time before the Male MUTO slams down on top of the vessel and dragging the vessel and the bomb into the water, creating a huge splash in the process.
"Dark!" Spider-Man called out to his friend in a panic. Looking around for any sign of her and the soldiers.
Dark and the soldiers appeared into thin air, landing near the shore. Spider-Man releases his breath, relieved to his friend okay. He landed next to her and asked. "You okay?"
"I'll live, but we need to get everyone out of here now!"
Their moments of silence were cut short as the male MUTO reappeared closer to shore. It scrambled out of the water, warhead in its mouth as it clung to the ship. The soldiers panic and shoot, not heeding to Spider-Man's protest. The Male MUTO pushed it to the ground and used its forearms to wrench the warhead free, tucking it into one of its smaller underarms as it then took wing and flew off into the city.
"Dammit!" Dark yelled before she and Spider-Man rushed back to the city.
The Male MUTO flies to the city. The civilians had yet to leave and were screaming in panic at the sight of the Male MUTO. The flying Kaiju lands on a building in the Chinatown district, peering out across the city. There, a massive wall of dust approached, with some buildings falling apart by it, as if something was coming. The Male MUTO released three calls in total. Two short barks and one longer groan. The calls were echoed by something much larger, and he ensured the warhead was safe in hand and glided down off his building rooftop landing in front of the mass of dust. From out of the cloud of dust appeared the face of the Female MUTO, standing over twice as tall as the male.
The two MUTOs shared an intimate moment. The male presented the warhead to her in his mouth, and she leaned forward to nuzzle against him. The two locked snouts for an instant, their red flashing eyes synchronizing, showing their bond to be mates for life.
However, their affection was cut off when something was coming their way. They both turned around to the Golden Gate Bridge, and roared. The people below followed their gaze and were shocked to see what was coming. Dark was grinning at the sight.
Being airlifted by eight twin rotor aircraft called V-50 Jumphawk (VTOL for short) was the Gypsy Danger. The Jaeger was brought there via airlift since it would be too much for Owen and Marco to walk all the way here. The civilians and soldiers were shocked to see this. They couldn't imagine a giant robot to be here. Soon, the VTOL detached the wires off the Jaeger, allowing it to land on water, creating a big splash, shocking the soldiers in their vessels. Ford was close to the coast, staring at the Jaeger with wide eyes.
"Oh…My…God…" Mutters a shock soldier.
"You can say that again." Ford mutters in shock.
Inside the Jaeger, both Marco and Owen glared at the two Titans in front of them. The two MUTOs roared at the Gypsy Danger, ready to attack and defend themselves. Both Jaeger pilots looked ready for battle as they became one with the mech.
Marco faced Owen and asked the man this simple question.
"You ready?"
Owen grins at him before they both faced the roaring Kaijus through the screen.
"Hell, yeah!"
Both men worked together to control the Jaeger and they took a fighting stance, facing the two MUTOs with great determination. Both MUTOs roared at the Jaeger. The Male MUTO, still holding the nuke, quickly flies at the mech, but as he gets closer, the Gypsy Danger quickly side steps and does a Double Axe-Handle on head of the Male MUTO. The parasitic Kaiju roared in pain as he made contact with the water. The two men worked together to make the Jaeger to grab the nuke that the Male MUTO dropped, checking that timer and they only have an hour left. They quickly put it on a nearby empty docks, far from the MUTOs reach.
"Owen, leave the bomb to us, deal with the MUTOs!" Dark said telepathically as she and Spider-Man came towards the bomb.
"Thanks, Dark!" Owen said before facing the Female MUTO. "Here we go!"
The Female MUTO roared at the mechanoid and charged at it at full speed. Both Owen and Marco worked together to make the Jaeger to charge at the Female MUTO. The Kaiju lifted one of her forearms at it. Unfortunately for her, the Gypsy Jaeger was quick, dodging her striking forearm and it uppercuts underneath her jaw. The Female MUTO roars in pain, but doesn't have time to recover as the Gypsy Danger gives heavy blows onto her face.
While the Gypsy Danger fought valiantly against the Female MUTO, people watched with wide eyes and awe at the sight before them. They couldn't believe that they were witnessing everything. Many children were fixated at the giant robot, fighting the monster with such power. The Female MUTO roars at the Gypsy Danger, angered by how it was holding on to this battle.
The Female MUTO then was ready to release an EMP attack, however, unbeknownst to her, the Gypsy Danger ready a counter block. Foxtrot studied the MUTOs' EMP attack and created these nanomachines that created a metal shielding around the Jaeger that could block the EMP. When the Female MUTO releases her EMP attack, the Gypsy Danger was still active, surprising the Female MUTO.
This gave the Jaeger the opportunity to deliver a heavy blow to the face, sending the Female MUTO tumbling onto the water. As she tries to recover, the backup power of the evac aircraft turned on as well as the effects of the MUTO's EMP worn off, and were ready to take the last civilians to safety.
"The backup powers are on!" Yelled a clone soldier.
"Everyone! Get in now!" Ordered Iron Fist.
The civilians scrambled their way to the evac ships, screaming on top of their lungs as the battle from the water rages one. Meanwhile, Spider-Man and Dark were trying to get the bomb to stop. It was difficult considering that the locking mechanism is damaged thanks to the Male MUTO, they will have trouble opening it.
"We need to figure out how to disarm it." Dark said as she slowly wrenches opened the device, careful not to disturbed the timer.
"Wish there was an instruction manual for this." Spider-Man said, trying to figure out how to disarm this device.
"Need a hand?" Came a familiar voice.
"Brody!?" Dark called out, watching EOD running up to them. "Why are you here?"
"The chopper landed nearby for an emergency rescue." Ford explained, helping Dark open the mechanism. "The EMP blast came and we couldn't go airborne until I saw you two with the bomb."
"Good, we need you to disarm it now, we don't have time to get out of the city with those two monsters here." Dark said.
While Ford tries to disarm the nuke, Gipsy Danger continues its battle with the Female MUTO, dodging her forearms, bites, and tackle. They easily dodged her attacks before delivering a knee strike to the chin of the Kaiju. The Female MUTO roars in pain as she falls to her side by the attack. It clearly shows that the Kaiju was being beaten by Jaeger. But before the two men could continue, they were attacked from behind by the Male MUTO when it sneaked and attacked them. The giant mech struggles to get the beast off its back.
"Ugh! Get off us you Motherfucker!" Owen yelled as he and Marco struggled to make the Jaeger to remove the Male MUTO off them.
"I have an idea!" Marco said before ordering the Jaeger's AI, "Plasma cannon, now!"
-Plasma cannon engaged.-
The Gypsy Danger's right arm began to transform into an advanced looking cannon that emits plasma energy. And quickly points at the Male MUTO before firing multiple rounds at it. The Male MUTO roars in agony, feeling the power of the weapon. While Gypsy Danger fires multiple rounds at the Male MUTO, the civilians continue to watch in awe as their savior fights off the monsters.
"Look at it go!" Said a man in the crowd.
"It's fighting that monster." Said the woman in the crowd.
"Thank God, we're saved." Said an elderly woman, doing a sign of a cross.
"Are you getting this?" Asked Female News Reporter to her cameraman.
"Hang on! Powers coming up!" He said, fixing his camera while they entered the ship. "Got it!"
The Cameraman points at his camera at the two battle titans. The Gypsy Danger continues firing at the Male MUTO, who attempts to attack, but is thwarted by getting blasted onto the face.
"Elbow rocket!" Owen yelled out.
-Elbow rocket, engaged.-
Using the free arm, the Jaeger's left elbow activated its rocket power to deliver a heavy punch to the Male MUTO's face. Almost breaking the titan's jaw. Their fight was being broadcast all across America, showing the battle between the Gypsy Danger against the MUTO. Everyone watched from their TV screen in shock and some posted on social media. All the children were looking at the windows of the evac ships and were fixated at the sight before them. Due to their young and innocent minds, they witness something cool. They weren't the only ones watching. The military was also shocked at this new income. They couldn't believe their eyes at the sight before them. Giant robots fighting off the monsters.
"What is this?" Asked Captain Hampton asked in shock yet amazement.
Admiral Stenz to Serizawa, who shows equal surprised looks with the others. "Doctor? What are we dealing with?"
Serizawa was still in awe at the sight of Jaeger battling the MUTOs head on, but he was able to respond to him. "I do not know, but I believe that there is someone who knows how to face a Titan."
The Male MUTO was down for the count, and the Jaeger was about to deliver a heavy blow when the Female MUTO was able to regain her strength and tackled the Jaeger. Both Marco and Owen yelled as the Gypsy Danger fell onto its back and the Female MUTO charged at them in full speed, ready to crush them.
"Owen!" Marco yelled.
"I'm on it!" Owen yelled back.
Both men worked together to make the Jaeger raise both the legs before kicking the Female MUTO was hit on the chest, roaring as she fell backwards. Both men brought the Jaeger back on to its feet and did a fighting position as the two MUTOs were getting up, roaring at them in anger.
Just as they were about to fight, the monitor started picking up another Kaiju reading, but with a higher level than the MUTOs have.
"What the hell kind of Kaiju is this?" Marco said, reading through the Jaeger's monitors.
"I don't know, but I don't think this is good." Owen said to Marco.
Suddenly, the water started to ripple, causing both MUTOs to slowly back up but growled as a massive Kaiju emerged from the water, revealing the Alpha Predator, the King of the Monsters himself, Godzilla.
Owen and Marco stared at the King of the Monsters in shock and wide eyes as the Jaeger's monitors were blaring out alarms. Warning them the Kaiju before them was stronger than both MUTOs. It clearly shows that Godzilla is the apex predator around here, and he is here for one purpose.
To bring nature back in order.
"Holy…shit…" Owen mutters out in shock.
SKREEEEEEEOOOOOONNNGK!
Godzilla releases a powerful roar through the sky as it shakes the earth beneath their feet. The people covered their ears in pain at the loud roar of the Alpha Predator. Val watched from the jet's window at the sight of Godzilla's intimidating appearance.
"Crap! He's here!" Dark yelled before looking at Ford. "Brody, I hope you're almost done!"
"Few more mikes!" Ford said, carefully trying to disarm the device. "I need more time!"
The Gypsy Danger's scanners picked up strong radiation levels on Godzilla, showing immense power he has. This was bad, even for them, for they knew the outcome of this fight would be bad. Plus, they have no idea what this Kaiju can do.
"Any ideas for facing this big guy, Marc?" Owen asked, freaking out at the intimidating stature of Godzilla.
"I'm thinking…" Marco thinks of a way to deal with this Kaiju.
Just then, he recalled a lesson from his former master, the Mandarin, who taught him a lesson about how predators show dominance and how the weaker ones must show respect towards the stronger predator. Of course, this lesson was about him teaching Marco and his adoptive brother, Shang-Chi, to show no weakness to their enemies. But it gave Marco an idea on how to deal with this predator.
"Thinking what I'm thinking?" Marco asked, turning to Owen.
Owen snorted and faced him. "I'm in your brain. I know what you're thinking, and I hope it works." Owen said to him.
The two men worked together to face the Alpha Predator. Godzilla glared at them with a growl, ready to attack them, until the Jaeger did something that surprised him and everyone around them. Instead of fighting, the Gypsy Danger bowed to Godzilla, not attacking the Alpha Predator. The King of the Monsters was taken aback by this, clearly not expecting this to happen. Even Admiral Stenz and Serizawa were completely dumbfounded at the sight.
"What in Heaven's name is that metal contraption doing?" Admiral Stenz questions, still baffled on what he is seeing.
"It's…bowing to Gojira…" Serizawa said in full shock.
"What? Why is it bowing to that monster?"
Graham gasped in realization. "Of course! In ancient times, Gojira was treated like a god. Humans and other Titans would have bowed as a sign of respect. If it doesn't think that the robot is a threat...it might not attack."
"Might is not enough of an answer, Dr. Graham." Admiral Stenz said in a serious tone.
Godzilla stared at the Gypsy Danger for a short while before snorting and then face to the recovering MUTOs with a deadly roar. That act alone means that Godzilla acknowledges them. Or that's what they assume since he is completely ignoring them.
"You think it worked?" Owen asked Marco, still unsure if Godzilla would spare them.
"I think it did, but let's not get our hopes up, because the two bougies are ready to fight." Marco points towards the recovering MUTOs, who roared at their opponents.
"Right, we'll figure this out later, after we kick some asses." Owen said.
The two men made the Jaeger do a battle pose at the two roaring MUTOs and Godzilla, surprisingly, stood beside the Gypsy Danger with a powerful roar, allowing to fight alongside him. Which again shocked everyone that was witnessing through the city or the broadcast.
The two MUTOs charged at their opponents, not going down without a fight. Neither will Godzilla and the Gypsy Danger. Godzilla deals with the Female MUTO while the Gypsy Danger fights the Male MUTO. Even though the Male MUTO has the flight advantage, the Gypsy Danger fired multiple rounds of plasma energy from the Plasma Cannon. Godzilla fought the Female MUTO, tackling her and biting her neck hard, causing them to both fall into the water, creating a huge splash.
The people cheered them on as the battle raged on. They were mostly cheering for Gypsy Danger, for it was on the human side, and was keeping the MUTO in bay. They would continue to cheer on but were soon stopped when they were ordered to get on board and buckle up, for the ships were going to leave the city. Once they were in the clear, the evac ships took off to the sky and to a safe zone, away from the battle, but as the aircrafts were leaving, the Male MUTO saw this and attempted to grab one, causing the people to scream in terror. Unfortunately for him, he was thwarted by the Gypsy Danger as it grabbed the Male MUTO by the leg and dragged him away from the aircrafts before slamming the alien Kaiju to the ground, giving him a face full of punches. The people in the aircraft cheered for the savior as they were taken away to safety.
Meanwhile, Val, wearing a S.H.I.E.L.D. hoodie, watches the battle with wide eyes, her heart pounding with worry and confusion. She was scared for the safety of her uncle, Marco, and the people yet she worries for the two MUTOs safety. She doesn't know why but…she felt as if the MUTOs shouldn't suffer like this. All they wanted was to start their family. Val still doesn't know why she felt this way but in her heart, she felt that the MUTOs must go somewhere that was not on Earth's continents.
Without even saying a word, Val opens a small portal for herself that will take her to the upper building that was close to the waters and far from the ship. She instinctively enters and the portal closes behind her. Celestia was confused by this and why they were here. Val didn't respond, she was focused on watching the battle between the four giants at the bay.
Val placed her hands on her chest as she took a deep breath and sighs, closing her eyes as she remembered her mother's words before her death as well as the song she sang to her. So, humming the song, she prays that the MUTOs could hear her. Even though it was a futile attempt, due to the loud noises of the battle, it couldn't hurt but to try.
However, her idea turns out to work too as the Female MUTO heard her after Godzilla pushes her out of the water and into the land with incredible force while the Gypsy Danger tosses the Male MUTO to a nearby building. Even though it was weakened and carrying eggs, the Female MUTO was able to hear the song. Lifting her head while emitting strange clicking sounds, she heard the song coming from a building close by. And sure enough, the Female MUTO went to the song, emitting small calls.
"What's it doing?" Owen asked in confusion, watching the Female MUTO getting up and walking somewhere.
"It's…going somewhere." Marco said before making the monitor to scan the area before the audios picked up someone singing. "What the…some is…singing somewhere."
"Huh? You serious?" Owen asked, looking at Marco if he had grown a second head.
"I'm serious, someone singing close by." Marco said before the monitor projected a holographic screen of the building that the Female MUTO was going. "I'm getting an image and…oh, shit."
Owen looked at his co-pilot worriedly. "What's wrong?"
"The scanners…it shows Val in on top of that building!" Marco said in alarm.
"What?!" Owen screamed as he looked at the screen.
And sure enough, Val, even though wearing a hoodie, was standing on top of a building with the Female MUTO coming towards her.
"NO!"
Owen and Marco were about to make the Jaeger run towards the Female MUTO, but was tackled by the Male MUTO, being pinned by the parasitic Kaiju as it beat them with its forearms. The two men yelled in pain, quickly holding both of the forearms of the Male MUTO, while avoiding the snapping jaws. As they struggled, they were not aware that Godzilla's dorsal plates started to glow blue along with his eyes. Without any warning, Godzilla releases a stream of blue atomic fire at the Male MUTO. That attack causes the Kaiju to roar in pain, distracting it in the process, giving the Gypsy Danger time to punch that parasite on the face, sending it falling to the water. Before the Male MUTO could get up, Godzilla bites down his neck, pulling the Male MUTO away from the Gypsy Danger, giving the Jaeger time to get back up on its feet.
This action was seen through the broadcast. Everyone was in complete shock at what they saw. The King of the Monsters was helping someone.
"Why did Godzilla help the robot?" Captain Hampton asked in shock.
Serizawa, who was watching the whole event with astonishment, knew the answer. "Because he knew that this robot was trying to bring order, and was willing to help him. Now, Gojira is returning the favor."
"A symbiotic relationship." Graham said in realization.
While Godzilla fights off the Male MUTO, the Gypsy Danger rushes towards the Female MUTO, hoping to get to her before she reaches Val. Speaking of Val, the young girl continues to sing her mother's song, catching the Female MUTO's attention. She didn't feel any fear as she felt the ground beneath her shook by the steps of the Female MUTO was making. Celestia was trying to get Val to stop and make a run for it, but the little girl refused to leave. She knows that something is wrong, and she wants to help. Just then, the Jaeger fired multiple plasma shots at the Female MUTO, but she avoided it by going through some buildings, causing some damages in the process, covering everything with dust and smoke.
The surrounding area was covered in clouds of dust, giving them trouble to see. Owen and Marco blindly try to find where the Female MUTO is, hoping to get to her before she could reach Val.
During this commotion, Val stood her ground, finishing her song, and awaiting for the Female MUTO. Not daring to move. Seconds passed, before Val was soon face to face with the female MUTO, emerging from the cloud of dust. The two looked at each other, not making a move. While the Female MUTO made strange clicking sounds, the Gypsy Danger stopped a few feet away from the Kaiju. Owen wants to attack it and keep it away from Val, but Marco stops him, informing Owen that if they attack, Val will get caught in the crossfire. So, they were forced to back off and awaited the outcome.
The Female MUTO lowers her head, sniffing the little girl. Val didn't move, still staring at the Kaiju with wide eyes. Val could see she was in pain, and all the Female MUTO wants is to raise her young. That's all. Val slowly lifted her hand and gently touched the Female MUTO's snout, stroking it softly. Val giggled at the smooth skin of the MUTO. Then, surprisingly, the female MUTO to purr softly towards Val, appreciating the gesture.
Unbeknownst to her, that single gesture sparked a bond that would never break.
Owen and Marco watched in utter shock. They couldn't believe their eyes. Val…she was able to tame a Kaiju. Sure, she's always good with animals but this…this is beyond her power.
"Oh. My. God…" Marco mutters out in shock.
"Yeah…" Owen agrees with Marco.
They were not the only ones in shock. Turns out, someone was able to get a drone in the air to capture the footage, but couldn't see Val's face due to the hoodie. Everyone watching this was in utter shock and in disbelief. A child was able to calm down the giant beast. Even the military was stunned by this. Serizawa and Graham stared at this with jaws dropped. They couldn't believe what they were seeing. They never knew someone could tame such a creature. Serizawa always thought of this as stories or fictions but this…this is real. And it came true.
Then, without any warning, the Female MUTO allowed Val to get on her head. Which she did, allowing herself to sit comfortably onto the Female MUTO's head. Once the Kaiju felt the young girl on her head, the Female MUTO turned and started walking away, ignoring the Jaeger and headed to open water. The Male MUTO stops fighting Godzilla after his mate calls out to him. He responds and quickly flies after his mate, ignoring the roars of Godzilla.
In that time, Ford was able to disarm the device. But as he does so, he sees the little girl on the Female MUTO's head, much to his shock. Dark and Spider-Man knew who it was. Somehow, Val was able to connect with the MUTOs, basically communicating to them beyond their perspective.
"Where are they going?" Spider-Man asked in confusion.
"I don't know, but I have a feeling that is not here on Earth." Dark said in a dead serious tone.
Then the Jaeger came walking over to them with mighty footsteps. Ford was in awe at the sight of the giant robot. He still couldn't believe that this robot single handedly faced off two MUTOs and was still on its feet. Before Ford could react, the Gypsy Danger picks up the nuke and carries it away from the city, following the two MUTOs with Godzilla trailing from behind.
"Woah, what's it doing?" Ford asked in surprise, watching the Jaeger going after the MUTOs with the bomb in hand and Godzilla following them.
"Taking the bomb somewhere far from here where no one, not even us, could get it." Dark said, watching them leave.
The military vessels were about to follow them, but the two MUTOs both used their EMPs to stop them. Dark quickly uses her magic to prevent the EMP from reaching the evac ships. She didn't use it before because she was busy taking everyone to safety. But now, it was time to use it. The military cannot follow them because of the MUTOs' EMP. The only ones who can follow them are the Gypsy Danger and Godzilla. Guess they were smart enough not to allow the military to follow them.
Dark knew had to follow them. She and Spider-Man quickly gather their team and go to the jet, which was not affected by the EMP blast because of Dark's shielding. And quickly took off after them while the evac ships took the people to safety.
In addition, they have to keep monitoring the MUTOs, Godzilla, and Val while they follow them. They know something was up and they need to bring it back up.
For there was a hidden secret within Earth that we have yet to know about.
