Boomer collapses to the ground along with the deflated corpse of Pamela. As they fall the plant tower slowly crumbles away along with every vine until all that is left is the shatter Botanical Garden. Butch and Bubbles rush to Boomers side to help him though they were still a bit confused about what Boomer was able to do. "I'll go check out that whole pod situation." Butch says as Bubbles examines Boomer for wounds. Without a second thought Butch sprints into the Botanical Garden to find where the pods are stored, specifically Buttercups. It didn't matter what happened to everyone else he just had to make sure Buttercup was safe.
Bubbles watches Butch run into the Botanical Garden and goes back to tending to Boomer, his fluffy blonde hair in her hands. She notices as Boomer passed out the clouds cleared revealing the shining sun behind them. As the sun shine's once more she notices the rain cloud seemingly summoned by Boomer fall down and slowly go into his hand's as if being absorbed by him. She looks at his hand expecting to see at least a small remembrance of the cloud but nothing in its place. As she stares at his hand Boomer comes too and sits up. As soon as he sees Bubbles beside him he throws himself at her and grabs onto her for a hug. He grips her tightly as he takes in deep breaths, trying to slow down his heartbeat. He pulls away from her and looks her in the eyes. "I have no idea what just happened."
As Butch makes his way through the Botanical Garden he finds a dark corridor housing everyone in separate pods all containing an orange liquid. He walks through the row of pods until he finds Buttercup, suspended in an unconscious state. He couldn't help but stare at her for a bit. From behind him he hears foot steps approaching and gets in a battle ready stance until he notices the sound belongs to none other than Brick and Blossom. "Oh well if it isn't my favorite love birds." Butch says teasing his older brother but is met with nothing but silence. "Ok then, trouble in paradise im assu-" is all Butch can get out before being cut off. "Are these all the pods? We need to get them out of here." Brick cuts off Butch in an almost deadpan manner as if he wants to end the conversation about him and Blossom immediately. Butch sits in silence taking in the sudden change until he finally speaks. "Uh yeah im pretty sure. I'll get Buttercup out of here while you guys help the others." Butch is met with silence from the two once more. He mutters under his breath, "Great talk." He looks at Buttercups pod. Its made of metal with a small glass window allowing him to see into it and at Buttercups beautiful face. He uses his strength to rip the heavy metal door off the hinges (he wasn't even sure if that would work) and catches Buttercup in his arms. Butch holds Buttercup in his arms and flies her out of the Garden, as he flies Buttercup wakes up slowly and looks up at Butch. She blushes a bit realizing he's carrying her Bridal Style.
Brick walks around the room looking at the pods. He watched the people in the pod float in their unconscious state noticing that even children were taken and stored in here. Blossom walked up to him and stares at the child floating in the pod. "She was using them as a sort of power source." Blossom says and points at a tube leading from the pod to the roof of the garden where Pamela was. "Leave it to Pinky to solve the mystery huh." Brick says letting out a small chuckle only to be met with silence from Blossom. "Blossom i'm sorry i really am." Brick tries to start apologizing but Blossom cuts him off. "Brick it's fine but I don't understand why you couldn't just trust me with knowing the real situation." She walks up to the pods and begins trying to free the people inside while talking to Brick. "I just figured since we started going out you'd be able to trust me. Im not sure if i did something to make you feel I'm untrustworthy or something but i-" Brick grabs Blossom and pulls her into a hug. "Pinky i do trust you believe me i do. I do apologize for not telling you earlier it just kinda seems like a bad idea to tell you why we really needed to take this trip especially knowing you guys were investigating us." Blossom pulls away from Brick and looks up into his eyes. "I understand Brick it's fine. You're right we were technically trying to find you guys so not telling us everything makes sense." Brick looks down into her soft pink eyes. He could stare into those eyes for an eternity if she'd let him. Brick places his hand on Blossoms waist pulling her closer. "So does that mean we're still together?" Blossom floats up a bit to be taller than Brick and kisses his forehead. Brick looks up and can't help but smile at Blossom. "We never even broke up Brick." Brick blushes a bit before clearing his throat. "We should really get these people out of these pods now."
Bubbles and Boomer watch as Butch and Buttercup land next to them. Butch places Buttercup on the ground and walks next to Boomer. He stops and stares at his younger brother. "What's up with your arm?" Butch says and points directly at it. Boomer looks down and spots what looks like a scar of some kind almost resembling a lightning bolt. "Looks like a dick dude." Butch says before laughing at his brother. Boomer goes red before exclaiming "Its clearly a lightning bolt you jackass!" Buttercup chimes in for a second to say "Maybe its a lightning bolts dick." Butch starts cackling at her joke making Buttercup smile a bit. Bubbles covers Boomers head with her hands and pulls him into her chest. "Will you two knock it off Boomer obviously needs to rest he's already shaken up.' "The only thing that needs to rest is that pent up dick on his arm." Buttercup says before cackling. Butch looks at her in amazement and still laughing. "Oh she gets it. She totally gets it." The greens laughed for a bit more while Bubbles comforts Boomer. After a bit of time the laughing dies down and Butch looks at his brother. "All right we had our fun. Now lets address the hurricane sized elephant in the room dude. What the hell was that?" Boomer looks down at the ground and stares at his shoes. "Im not sure really. I mean one second i was just mad then next thing i know im holding some lady by the throat choking her." They all sit in silence each thinking about what this new power Boomer experienced meant. "We better tell Brick and Blossom this im sure those two nerds might know a thing or two. Plus it would be awful if Boomer just chokes women every time he gets mad."
Brick and Blossom start ripping doors off of pods. One by one all the people trapped inside start running out in a panic, most were looking for loved ones or even their cars which were sadly destroyed in battle. After everyone clears the garden Blossom and Brick are left standing in the empty, cold, mechanical room. "This place smells like wet grass and evil goo. Kinda like what imagine a Taco Bell smells like actually." Brick says. Blossom lets out a small chuckle at Bricks joke. "You're such a loser." She says while smiling. As they walk out they spot their siblings all sitting together and talking. They begin to walk towards them when Butch spots them and starts talking. "Woah there you guys are, hey did you see that giant vine that appeared that we had absolutely nothing to do wi-" "Butch shut up she knows." Brick says while walking past Butch and to Boomer. "Oh cool well then i think you should know that lady said there was a like 30 MILLION DOLLAR BOUNTY ON US." Butch says to his brother. Brick stops and slowly turns to Butch. "30 MILLION? Like million with an M" The black haired boy nods at his brother. The boys have certainly made alot of enemies in their lifetimes but none could ever even get $30 Million just to have them killed. Maybe The Gangreen Gang robbed some big bank but even then the worst thing to happen between them was Butch breaking Aces nose at a party over Buttercup. "So who do we know that has $30 million to burn?" Buttercup asks looking up at her sister for answers. Blossom always had the answers to everything.. Homework, tests, you name it Blossom knew the answers. "I have no idea actually. I mean maybe Princess but she's so obsessed with Brick i doubt she'd ever spend even a penny to remotely hurt him." Blossom says to everyone's shock. "Well what about Boomers whole freak out thing? I mean that was insane." Butch asks Brick. "I mean do you guys know anything about that" Brick and Blossom look at each other and shrug. "How about we just get back on the road and we can talk somewhere else huh?" Blossom says watching as police cars pull into the area.
The teens fly away to the parking lot to go over the police and avoid questioning. As they all get back in the car Boomer sits in the backseat still staring at that same lightning scar from earlier. "You feeling ok?" Bubbles asks him. Boomer sits a bit more before looking up at her. "I'm not sure honestly. I mean you're safe so its alright but still i have no idea what that was about." Bubbles puts her hand on Boomers and smiles at him. "Well whatever it was im happy you're ok and im especially happy you saved me from that fall." Boomer looks up at her baby blue eyes and smiles gently at her. "Will you two lovebirds cut it out before i puke back here?" Butch says. Boomer turns to his brother and chuckles "Oh we're the lovebirds huh? You and Buttercup have ben attached at the hip all day and lets not forget about to going inside that garden and ONLY saving her." Butch's cheeks go bright red. "Now you're blushing huh." Boomer lets out a laugh t his older brother being flustered. Buttercup starts to blush next to him before hearing Bubbles start to crack up only to send her a glare for her to stop. "How about i gut you like a fish loser?" Butch says quickly changing the entire mood.,. Boomer stops laughing and just stares at his brother. "You are so negative man." Boomer says then smiles at his brother. Butch couldn't help but letting out a laugh at it. He thought Boomer was funny but couldn't just let his baby brother make fun of him. "Alright lets get out of here." Brick says while getting in the car. This whole fair was supposed to be the pick me up they all needed but even that couldn't happen peacefully. Maybe they can just go rest somewhere to discuss all this crazy junk.
