Trouble with Changing Gangsters on Both Lands
While Rao and Ann are leading the group through the Abyssinia town, they are looking around to get a better look to see that this town looks a little better and there are some palm trees around.
"I have to say, your town looks like maintain and I notice some of them have been well put together." Bulma commented.
"Thank you, those happen to be my handy work and I'm very proud of them." Ann smiled proudly.
"But she can be a little too prideful at times." Rao mentioned as a tease making Ann glare at him.
"I see you have some trees here too. I didn't think anything would even grow in a desert place like this, consider how hard and dry sand can be." Flash picked up some sand with one hand and drop them back to the ground.
"You'll be surprised how of nature can do for a town like this. There's a legend about how this land had no way of sustaining life here and the people could barely get around and no water at all, but then there was a bright light that somehow caused the land itself have water to help sustain the land." Rao explained.
"What kind of light was it?" Sunset asked.
"Legend says that the light was in the form of a beautiful mystic creature that is so white and pure like it came from the Heavens and after that came a powerful bright light of rainbow colors then the next thing everyone knew, water suddenly appeared in Sand Land!" Ann explained about the legend.
"Wow, that sounds so pretty!" Pinkie said.
"Yeah, I wish I could've seen it if I was born into that time." Ann smiled.
"How long ago was that?" Rainbow Dash asked curiously.
"From what the legend says that event was about 401 years ago though nobody knows for sure since the only record we have is a journey of the founder which was lost to us some time ago and we have this statue of the mystic creatures." Rao gestured to the statue they're right in front.
The group look at the pure steel statue that is in the form of a beautiful and strong horse that has wings and a long sharp horn.
Just looking at the statue of the town made the group feel so calm and their souls are connecting to each other that it's like they have been together since the beginning of time, everything around them feeling harmony and being strong to protect anything that threatens their bond.
"Wow, this statue is amazing." Applejack complimented.
"This reminds me of the horse statue we used to have back at our school." Flash mentioned.
"Really? Can I see a picture of it?" Ann asked.
"Here." Pinkie pulled out her phone from her hair and showed the picture of the former Wondercolt horse statue.
"Wow, that's a pretty statue." Ann complimented.
"Yeah, but it was destroyed during a game event by some epic fighting that involves explosions and breaking down the wall of reality!" Pinkie explained with a cute smile.
Ann and Rao look at the pink fluffy hair girl with confusion and a bit of concern of what is that girl talking about.
"It's best not to ask, and don't even think about trying to figure her out." Rarity warned.
But then the conversation was interrupted by the sound of Goku's stomach which got everyone's attention to him.
"Heheh, sorry. All this talking is making me hungry." Goku chuckled.
"Oh, Goku." Chi-Chi giggled.
"How about we continue this talk inside the big bar." Rao said.
"Great, but are there going to be people around because we haven't any since we got here." Flash pointed out.
"Oh, guess I should let the town people know." Rao reached into his pocket and took out a walkie-talkie.
"Everyone of Abyssinia, this is Sheriff Rao. The people that have come here are friendly and are NOT with the Changling Clan. I repeat, they are friends." Rao informed with his voice going through the speaker boxes that are all over town.
And soon, about a little over a dozen people came out of the buildings greeting the newcomers.
Soon, everyone enter the bar Rao mentioned which is called "Demon Feast" which was a little weird to some but somehow see the name fits here.
"It's good to see that you are safe, Lady Ann. I hate to see how your uncle and parents would react if anything were to happen to you." A short old man said to Ann.
"Everything is fine, Grandpa Thief. I took care of the Changling guy that was in our town, along with one of them throwing him into the swamp." Ann gestured to Goku.
"Seriously, your name is just Thief?" Rainbow Dash asked.
"Silence, you! I'm proud of the man that was given to me by the late King Lucifer himself!" Thief felt offended from that.
Thief is a short old man with a single small pointy crave of white hair along with a big bread and mustache, and black eyes. He wears a yellow shirt with a hood and matching shoes, dark green shirt underneath, and a rope tied around his waist like a belt.
"Your land has a king?" Applejack asked, didn't think the king stuff was still a thing in this day in age.
"Yep, happened when the "Great Winged Light" as we like to call it brought the water to the land and it was decided to have the land be ruled by a king making us one of the lands that still has a king." Rao explained.
"Then that would mean…. You're a princess!" Rarity gasped in realization.
"That's right, but I don't really see myself as a princess much and my soul is more into the machines I fix and make with my own two hands." Ann chuckled.
"Maybe so, but you still got the kindness and strong compassion in you to be a leader meaning you have the potential to be a queen someday." Rao believed.
"And so, you keep saying that." Ann rolled her eyes. And then the chef and other workers came in serving the plates of food.
"Only because it's true." Rao smiled with a nod.
"So, does that mean those changing guys are not part of this kingdom?" Goku asked.
"They're called "Changlings", Kakarot." Vegeta corrected the idiot Saiyan.
Upon hearing the name of that damn group, everyone in the bar restaurant started to feel intense and some are looking very angry while others are scared of them.
"Vegeta! You should be careful when you say certain things." Bulma scolded her husband.
"Unfortunately, we're already used to that name since they rudely came to this town." Thief sighed.
"When did this happen?" Chi-Chi asked.
"It was just about over a year ago during the summer season when things were really hot then it is now." Rao started telling the story.
(Flashback)
The scene shows of Rao walking around the town for his usual patrol and greeting the people before arriving at the front gate of the town.
Everything looked peaceful until he saw something moving through the sand until he took out his binoculars to see there are a bunch of biker men, and several women, are riding toward Abyssinia fast.
"They just came out of nowhere and rode into town without a care in the world." Rao said.
Rao can see those guys aren't slowing down at all and quickly jumped out of the way as the Changling Clan rode through the gate and start riding like crazy into town square scaring some of the people.
Rao tries to talk with the bikers, but none of them would listen and one of them even smacked him in the head with a baseball bat though the old man was tougher than he looks as he stood his ground.
"Hey! Let me go!" Ann demanded while being dragged away by two of them.
"Apparently, the only reason they attacked was because they were after our kingdom's most sacred treasure, and they somehow knew it was delivered to Ann for a keepsake for a while." Rao mentioned.
One female Changling Clan walked over to Ann, gave her one quick slap on the face, then took her bag to take out the sacred treasure. She nods at the boys telling them to throw the girl down.
"I barely did anything to protect our treasure, guess that's another reason why I'm not cut out to being a princess." Ann felt ashamed of herself.
"Don't beat yourself up for that, Ann. You still stood up to them when they were about to hurt the people, telling them they already have what they came for." Rao pointed out.
Three of the Changling Clans were about to go beat up a few people including some kids, but Ann quickly got in the way and told them to go with what they took which the leader of the group say it was time to go.
All the Changling Clan members suddenly stood in attention and bow on their knees with their leader making themselves know. The leader gestured one hand for one important-looking man to step forward, took off the mask revealing to be one of the Changlings.
"Turns out, one of the Changlings was in disguises as the one who delivered the sacred treasure here called his friends over to come pick it up." Rao said.
They got back on their bikes and rode off with the leader making a scary loud evil laugh.
(Flashback End)
"Even after taking our sacred treasure, the Changling Clan kept on attacking us, doing their best to making our lives as miserable as possible." Rao finished the story.
"Ouch, I mean fuck ouch." Applejack commented.
"You can say that again." Ann said.
"Those idiots keep on pushing us around just because this town is close to the broader of the swamp area." Thief said, clearly angry of the situation.
"What about your king and queen?" Nijuuichi asked.
"We tried calling them several times, but we soon discover that every time we sent our emergency messages to the capital one of the Changlings would intercept the message to prevent help from coming." Rao explained.
"So, for now, we're on our own." A young woman walked up to them.
"Oh, Mayor Somnambula!" Ann smiled.
"You're the mayor here?" Vegeta asked.
"That's right, my name is Somnambula and I hope you're having a good time here." Somnambula introduced herself.
Somnambula a beautiful young-looking woman with short hair that is dark arctic blue and moderate turquoise and long ponytail that goes down her half her leg tied with golden brace and at the end, tanned skin like she was kissed by the sun, grayish blue violet eyes and blue eyeshadows. She wears a white dress that is half leg length with a gold wrapping around her waist three times, golden necklace with green gems on it, transparent sky-blue coat-like cloak, white hat with a golden headpiece with wing-like symbol and a golden brace on her left. And she doesn't wear shoes at all. Breasts sizes: II-cup.
"I heard about how you were able to handle one of the Changlings. Thank you for that." Somnambula thanked.
"No problem, that guy was too weak to fight anyway." Goku said.
"He was most likely a foot soldier, one of the weaker Changling men to spy on everyone to see what we're up to. There are stronger ones back at their base in Hayseed Swamp that they also conquered some time ago before they came here." Somnambula explained.
"You hear that, Goku? We might be able to find some people who could make you sweat." Pinkie giggled.
"You guys sure look like a bunch of thrill seekers." Ann commented.
"You could say it's a hundred times more fun than a barrel of monkeys!" Pinkie kissed Goku on the cheek.
"Oh great, couple stuff." Thief rolled his eyes, not interested in this crap.
"Don't listen to him. He's just upset that his sweetheart decades ago broke his heart and died the day after that breakup." Rao revealed.
"H-Hey, you don't have to tell them that!" Thief gasped.
"So, why that you guys know what's going on with this town, would you mind telling me—What the Sandy Feet?!" Rao gasped when the waiter brought in a bigger plate.
"Awesome!" Goku excitedly.
"Remember, I get the head." Vegeta reminded Goku about having a piece of meat.
Rao was shocked to see that the two young men are eating so much food at such a fast pace and look over to see that are a lot of plates, about almost twenty plates. Somnambula is equally shocked to see this and look at the group who just shrug at them.
"Okay, my uncle likes to eat good food, but not even he would eat that much." Ann said.
"Goku, be careful when you eat like that. You're getting food on your gi." Chi-Chi advised.
"Sorry, but I can't really help myself when it comes to eating such good food and this is the best one, I have since coming here." Goku complimented with his mouth full.
Goku took a whole apple drop it down into his mouth trying to swallow it whole, but it got struck in the throat causing Goku to pound his chest with his fist trying to swallow the apple whole though his pounding on the chest ends up pushing the Rainbow Ball out of his gi and drop onto the floor.
The one who notices this is Ann as she looks up at the Rainbow Ball and her mouth gasps in shock.
"Dang it, Goku! This is why you always chew your food before swallowing." Applejack helped Goku by pouring some apple cider down his throat which helped him swallow the apple.
"Thanks, Applejack. I thought I was done for." Goku chuckled.
"No way!" Ann screamed, which got everyone jumpy from her sudden reaction.
"Ann, what's going on?" Rao asked.
"Why did you scream?" Thief asked.
"This ball… It look just like our sacred treasure, the one the Changlings stole!" Ann said out loud.
"What?!" Somnambulma asked as she, Rao, and Thief are shocked.
"Lady Ann, are you sure?" Thief asked.
"Yes, look at it yourself if you don't believe me!" Ann showed the four-star Rainbow Ball to the others, this became a big shock to them.
"Way to go, Kakarot. Now they'll probably think we're not trustworthy." Vegeta blamed Kakarot for this.
"Hold on, maybe this could be better for them because it looks like they may also know about the legend of the Rainbow Balls." Sunset said.
"The Rainbow Ball, you even know the name. That means the legend is true that there are seven of them." Ann said.
"Look closely at this ball, it has four stars while our sacred treasure has six stars." Ann pointed at the stars.
"She's right, I can't believe it." Rao said.
"Wait, before we say anything else." Vegeta narrowed his eyes and felt one waiter trying to sneak his way out of the restaurant only for the Saiyan Prince to teleport away to the sneaky waiter to punch him in the face while at the same time rip off the mask revealing to be another Changling knocking him unconscious.
"Damn it, another one here." Rao cursed.
"Don't worry, I already sensed everyone here. You're all good." Goku informed.
"(Amazing! These two kids are incredible strong, perhaps stronger than him as well. Maybe, they can help save us.)" Rao thought believed that he is feeling hope more than ever before.
(Hayseed Swamp Town)
The scene shows the front of a big old-looking yet very strong house where the leader of the Changling Clan is currently in, having their own relaxing time with looking at herself in the mirror and singing a beautiful yet frightening tone.
"I look beautiful!" The Changling Leader talked to reflection, revealing the voice to be a woman.
"Your Majesty, we have an emergency!" One Changling man rushed into the room. This caused the leader to groan in annoyance.
"This better be important because I'm in the middle of my favorite private time." The Changling Leader said.
"We found one of our brothers, he was… defeated from the sand side." The Changling man reported, gulping a little in fear.
"…What?" The Changling Leader asked.
"It's true, he's here to tell you himself." The Changling man said, moving away from the door for the defeated Changling to walks in and bow on both knees.
"There were new visitors from the outside, one of them was able to see through my disguise and the other was really strong to throw me all the way to center of Hayseed Swamp. But I also discovered another thing." The defeated Changling man looked up at the leader.
"They also have another one, another Rainbow Ball." The defeated Changling man reported.
The Changling Leader forms an evil smile and her eyes are beautiful and dangerous moderate harlequin with dark grayish opal pupils glowing.

The young magical and martial art heroes has learned about what has been going on in Abyssinia with the Changling Clan hurting the town, and now it looks like the Changling Leader knows about another Rainbow Ball being close.
