Note to Hanksaw, I completely understand your frustrations, but when I get 2 chapters of the next DC story done, then I will post it.
Chapter 3
The team return to the mansion holding Penny as they lay her on a bed to rest and heal.
But just then, General James Ironwood sends a broadcast to all of Atlas and Mantel.
Ruby looks at her scroll as his message is sent.
"Ruby...You and your team have betrayed my trust...With Salem and her forces coming here, because the Relic attracts Grimm...So I am going to destroy Mantel, unless you hand The Winter Maiden to me, so I can get The Staff of Creation. You have 3 hours...Hope you all make your choose soon." Ironwood says as his message ends.
"Who was that?" Sora asks concerned.
"That was General Ironwood. We thought he was our friend. But he betrayed us." Ruby says, visibly upset
"He is in top command of the Atlas military, but he has taken measures to far." Weiss further explains.
"Well... What if I talk to him? I don't think he is evil...After all he was your friend. I can talk to him and get him onto our side and show we can help each other." Sora suggests.
"You can't be serious. Whatever he puts his mind to. He can never change..It's his semblance." Blake says.
"Well. I have been through a similar situation..."
"Really?" Yang asks.
"Yes...My friend, Riku...He was taken over by the Darkness and became evil, it did not seem like it was him anymore. But I had faith and was able to bring him back to normal. So I believe if we can help someone. We should give it a chance. I will just talk to him and let him trust me." Sora suggests..
"I don't think it's possible. He has gone to far." Weiss says
"I believe in him." Goofy says.
"GWA! Same here." Donald adds.
"I also believe in him." Ruby says.
"Well, seems like a plan. How do we get Ironwood here?" Yang asks.
"Well I think I have an idea." Ruby responds.
Later we see Ironwood after he gets a message from Ruby Rose saying they agree to meet peacefully.
James gets his Ace Opps ready, Flynt Coal, Neon Cat, Ceiel Soliel, and Winter Schnee. (Note the Ace Ops are different in this RWBY world.)
Ironwood and his team get into a jet and flies over to the Schnee Mansion.
Meanwhile RWBY and the three are talking to each other.
"So you mentioned Semblance. What is that?" Sora asks.
"A semblance is basically a unique ability a person is born with. I can dash around at fast speeds as rose peddles." Ruby explains.
"I can summons things known as glyphs to help out, freezing time, making time faster, firing ice spears, and so on." Wiess adds.
"I can create a show clone of myself to dodge attacks quickly." Blake says.
"The more I get hit, the stronger I get!" Yang says proudly as she slams her fists together.
"Gorsh. Impressive display of abilities." Goofy says, surprised by it.
"That's really cool. We met plenty of people with amazing abilities as well in our adventures. But we are not suppest to explain to much." Sora says.
"I understand...We do appreciate everything you all have done." Ruby says.
"Thank you...We hope to assist as much as we can." Sora says, just as they see an Atlas jet land.
The team head outside with Penny still inside recovering.
They are outside the broken front door and meeting with Ironwood.
"James, just listen-" Ruby tries to say.
"Just give us Penny and we will be on our way.." Ironwood says with little emotion.
"Wait. We can talk about this." Sora says, stepping up.
"Who are you?" James asks, getting defensive.
"My name is Sora. You can trust me. I'm not your enemy." Sora says trying to help calm him down.
"I am getting the Winter Maiden, whether you all like it or not!" Ironwood yells as he pulls out his guns.
Winter pulling out her swords, Flyt gets out his trumpet, Neon gets her glowing nunchucks, and Ceil gets two electric batons.
"I knew he could not be trusted!" Blake yells.
"No look at their, clothes and the emblems." Sora says as James and the Ace Opps clothes start turning, black, red, and purple, his eyes are red, and the Heartless emblem on thier chest.
"They are being possessed by the Darkness!" Sora yells as he summons Grand Chief Keyblade and charges at Ironwood.
Winter Schnee charges over with Goofy blocking her swords with his shield.
He then pushes her and throws his shield, knocking her back as it returns to him.
Donald uses his magic to blast fire at Ceil, who blocks the flames with her batons.
While Yang and Neon fight each other, Wiess and Blake fight Flynt.
Sora swings his keyblade with Ironwood blocking the attack with his pistols and pushing him back.
Then Ruby dashes over swinging her sythe, as James blocks the attacks and punches her away as well.
But just then Sora uses lighting magic and zaps James, fallowed by some Key Blade attacks knocking him down!
Ironwood falls to his knees, still consumed by Darkness.
Meanwhile the other Ace Opps get knocked down by everyone else.
"GRR! I will do what it takes to protect Atlas!" Ironwood yells in frustration.
"Hey. It's ok...I know you don't know who to trust. And I know Heartless and Grimm have overrun, Mantel and Atlas... But I know their is good in your heart. It just doesn't know who to trust. But you can trust me." Sora says to help him.
"W-Why should I trust you? You could double cross me as well!" Ironwood says struggling to stand.
"Ruby, I need the lamp." Sora says.
"Wait! What are?" Ruby asks.
"Just trust me Rubes." Sora says holding his hand out.
Ruby gets the Relic off her belt and hands it to him.
Sora then gives Ironwood the Relic of Knowledge.
"Y-You're giving me the Relic?"
"Yes. Because I trust you. And hope you can trust me." Sora says as he holds his hand out.
Ironwood looks very surprised but he grabs Sora's hand as his clothes turn back to normal and the Heartless Emblem is gone!
He helps James up as he says "Thank you Sora...For believing in me."
The rest of the Ace Ops also snap out of the the Heartless's control, looking around confused.
"I can't believe it." Weiss says.
"Now as you all... You betrayed my trust, lied to me, and even did what I told you not to do...But I'm willing to work with you all for now. Because of him" Ironwood says.
"Right." RWBY says, still a little worried.
"So, who are you all?" James asks.
"Meet, Goofy and Donald."
"Good to meet you two. These are the Ace Ops, my team, Winter Shcnee, Flynt Coal, Neon Cat, and Ciel." Ironwood says.
"A pleasure to meet you all." Sora says happy.
"So what now?" Weiss asks.
"Well the Grimm are coming for us, so we need some way to get everyone to safety." Winter says.
"We could use the Staff of Creation. Make pathes for everyone to get to safty." Ruby suggests.
"HMM.. That could work." Ironwood says.
"But first we need to find out friends and make sure they are safe, then we can have Penny open the Vault." Yang adds in.
"Alright. I will give you all an hour to find them. After that head to the vault. Understood?" James asks.
"Yes sir." Ruby says.
"Good. The Ace Ops will help with any Grimm to protect the citizens, I will wait at the Vault."
"Sounds like a plan!" Sora says as he, Donald, Goofy and RWBY head out to find JNR and Oscar.
