Lysandre Labs (Part Two)
"So, what now guys?" asked Nazz.
"We find that Lysandre dork and stop him." replied Kevin.
"But how do we do that?" asked Nazz.
"Yeah; we need to take the elevator, but we need a keycard to use them." said Jonny.
"Why couldn't they have elevators with buttons?" asked Nazz.
"Perhaps one of these other Team Flare scoundrels has a key." said Rolf.
"Hey, that's not a bad idea, Rolf." said Kevin. "Let's take these dorks on until we find a key on one of them."
"You think your Pokemon are rested after their battle with Lysandre?" asked Nazz. "That Lysandre was tough."
"I'll just use the Pokemon I didn't use; I'll go to a Pokemon Center later." replied Kevin. "Okay, gang; let's split up and take these dorks on until we find another key." The gang split up and began exploring the lab.

Jonny's Krookodile bursts out of the floor, courtesy of her Dig attack, below a Team Flare member's Liepard and rams it; it falls to the floor, unconscious.
"Liepard!" exclaimed the Team Flare member.
"Great job, Krookodile." said Jonny. The Team Flare member drops to her knees and returns Liepard to its pokeball; she then tosses pokedollars at Jonny.
"Okay; do you have an elevator key on you?!" asked Jonny while picking up pokedollars.
"No; only high-level members of Team Flare have them." replied the Team Flare member.
"Darn; well I guess I'll have to keep looking." said Jonny. He returns Krookodile to her pokeball and continues looking around the lab. He soon came across a door that led into another room. He enters it and looks around; to his surprise, he sees the blue haired Team Flare he and the rest of the group encountered in Frost Cavern. "Hey; you're that lady we met at Frost Cavern."
"My name is Mable." replied the Team Flare member, now identified as Mable. "We've heard a lot about you and your friends, so we know a lot about you. You know how a Mega Ring is used to awaken a Pokemon's power, right?"
"Yeah." replied Jonny.
"Well, our ulitimate weapon can max out a Pokemon's power." replied Mable. She pulls out a pokeball. "Enough talk; time for payback for you and your friends interference at Frost Cavern. Houndoom, go!" She tosses a pokeball and releases her Houndoom.
"Clawitzer, go!" said Jonny, throwing Clawitzer's pokeball and releasing him.
"Houndoom, Foul Play!" said Mable. Houndoom runs at Clawitzer and grabs him with its mouth, it jumps up and throws Clawitzer onto the floor; he gets back up.
"Clawitzer, Water Pulse!" said Jonny. Clawitzer opens his large pincer and launches a blue ball of water out of it and it hits Houndoom, dealing super effective damage to it. "Now use Aqua Jet!" Clawitzer becomes surrounded by water, and he flies at Houndoom; he rams into it and deals super effective damage to it.
"Thunder Fang!" said Mable. Houndoom's fangs become coated in electricity; it lunges at Clawitzer and bite him, dealing super effective damage to him. Electricity surrounds Clawitzer. "Looks like Clawitzer's paralyzed. Now, Houndoom, Foul Play!" Houndoom grabs Clawitzer with his fangs and slams Clawitzer onto the floor, damaging him.
"Clawitzer, Aura Sphere!" said Jonny. Clawitzer fights through his paralysis and launches a blue ball of energy from his pincer, and it hits Houndoom, knocking it out. "Way to go, Clawitzer." Mable returns Houndoom to its pokeball; she puts it away and pulls out another pokeball.
"Weavile, go!" said Mable, throwing the pokeball and releasing a bipedal, pale gray Pokemon with a red feathery crown and collar, two tail feather, a yellow crystal on its forehead, and claws on the end of each of its hands (Weavile); due to Jonny not having the pokedex, he can't identify it. "Weavile, Hone Claws!" Weavile's claws glowed red, and it became surrounded by an orange aura.
"Clawitzer, try using Crabhammer!" said Jonny. Unfortunately, paralysis stops Clawitzer from attacking.
"Night Slash!" said Mable. Weavile's claws glowed a light purple; it runs at Clawitzer and claws him, knocking him out.
"Clawitzer!" exclaimed Jonny.
"Well done, Weavile." said Mable. Jonny returns Clawitzer to his pokeball.
"You were great, Clawitzer." said Jonny. He puts Clawitzer's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Charizard, go!" He throws Charizard's pokeball and releases him. "Use Flamethrower!" Charizard releases a stream of fire from his mouth, and it hits Weavile, dealing super effective damage.
"Dark Pulse!" said Mable. Weavile fires black and purple rings of energy from the crystal on its forehead and it hits Charizard, damaging him and making him flinch. "Now use Night Slash!" Weavile's claws glowed a whitish purple and it claws Charizard.
"Flamethrower!" said Jonny. Charizard fires another stream of fire from his mouth, and it hits Weavile, dealing enough damage to knock it out.
"I can't believe it!" exclaimed Mable.
"Great job, Charizard." said Jonny. Charizard roars in response. Mable drops to her knees and returns Weavile to its pokeball. Jonny and Charizard walk over to Mable. "Okay; do you have a key to the elevators here?" Mable pulls out a keycard from her pocket, along with pokedollars."
"Here, here, take them!" exclaimed Mable, holding out the keycard and pokedollars; Jonny takes them. Mable slumps her head while Jonny returns Charizard to his pokeball and leaves the room.
At another part of the lab, Nazz, Kevin, and Rolf meet up with one another.
"Did you find a keycard, Rolf?" asked Nazz.
"No; Rolf has battled some of these fiends and none of them had a keycard." replied Rolf. Nazz turned towards a door that led into another room.
"Let's see what's in there." said Nazz. She and Rolf walked into the room; upon entering, they see the purple-haired Team Flare member and the green-haired member. "Hey; aren't those the ladies we met at the Pokeball Factory?"
"Define 'ladies'." replied Kevin. The two Team Flare members turned towards them.
"You're those rotten brats from the Pokeball Factory!" said the green-haired woman.
"Yeah; so?" replied Kevin.
"We owe you two payback for what you did to us back there!" said the purple-haired woman.
"Try cashing in on that!" said Kevin. Rolf steps forward.
"Kevin's Pokemon need to rest; let Rolf handle this." said Rolf.
"Go for it, dude." said Kevin.
"Allow me to introduce myself." said the purple-haired woman. "My name is Celosia."
"Fine, sure; let us battle!" said Rolf. Celosia takes out a pokeball and throws it, releasing her Manectric; Rolf throws his, releasing his Gogoat.
"Manectric, use Howl!" said Celosia. The Manectric howls, boosting its attack strength.
"Gogoat, use Bulk Up!" said Rolf. Gogoat's body starts to grow, increasing his attack and defense strengths.
"Manectric, use Bite!" said Celosia. The Manectric runs at Gogoat, and bites down on him.
"Gogoat, use Rock Smash!" said Rolf. Gogoat slams his head down onto the Manectric, doing damage, and lowering its defense.
"Manectric, use Quick Attack!" said Celosia. The Manectric moves quickly at Gogoat, and slams into him.
"Gogoat, use Seed Bomb!" said Rolf. Gogoat launches large seeds from his neck mane at the Manectric that explode on contact.
"Manectric, use Spark!" said Celosia. Manectric's body becomes coated in electricity as it rams into Gogoat, not doing much.
"Gogoat, use Take Down!" said Rolf. Gogoat runs full force at the Manectic and slams into it, doing damage to himself from recoil damage, but at least it was enough to knock the Manectric out.
"Nice one, dude!" said Nazz.
"Way to go, Rolf!" cheered Kevin. Celosia growls as she returns her Manectric to its pokeball.
"Impressive, little boy." said Celosia as she puts her Manectric's pokeball into her pocket, then pulls out another one. "But let's see you handle my strongest one!" She then throws it, releasing a large, purple, insectoid Pokemon with pincers on the end of its arms, plus some on the end of its tail.
"What is that?" asked Nazz as she pulls out the pokedex, and points it at the Pokemon.
"Drapion, the Ogre Scorp Pokemon, and the evolved form of Skorupi. It has the power in its clawed arms to make scrap of a car. The tips of its claws release poison." said the pokedex.
"Use Poison Fang!" said Celosia. The Drapion moves towards Gogoat and bites down on him with poison-coated fangs, doing super effective damage; Gogoat started to look ill.
"Dude, Gogoat is poisoned!" said Kevin.
"Rolf must end this battle quickly." said Rolf. "Gogoat, use Tackle!" Gogoat runs at the Drapion, and rams it, barely knocking it back.
"Drapion, use Venoshock!" said Celosia. Drapion releases a spray of poison from its tail that hits Gogoat, doing lots of super effective damage due to the attack's power being increased if hitting a poisoned opponent, and knocks him out.
"Gogoat!" shouts Rolf.
"That Pokemon is tough." said Kevin.
"You can say that again." said Nazz.
"Excellent work, Drapion." said Celosia. Drapion roars in response. Rolf returns his Gogoat to his pokeball.
"Rolf is proud of Gogoat." said Rolf. He puts Gogoat's pokeball back into his pocket, then pulls out his Diggersby's pokeball, and releases him from it.
"Is Diggersby okay to battle?" asked Nazz.
"Rolf has to try at least." said Kevin.
"Diggersby, use Dig!" said Rolf. Diggersby tunnels into the floor.
"Drapion, use Hone Claws!" shouts Celosia. Drapion starts sharpening its claws against each other. Diggersby then pops out of the floor underneath Drapion and slams into its belly, doing super effective damage. "Drapion, use Ice Fang!" Drapion bites down onto Diggersby with ice-coated fangs, doing super effective damage.
"Diggersby, use Flail!" said Rolf. Diggersby starts flailing around, with his ears slamming into Drapion, doing a good amount of damage, but not enough to take it out.
"Drapion, use Ice Fang again!" said Celosia. Drapion gives Diggersby another icy bite, this time knocking him out.
"Man, that Drapion is tough!" said Kevin.
"Can Rolf beat it?" asked Nazz.
"He can!" said Kevin. Rolf returns Diggersby to his pokeball.
"Diggersby did his best." said Rolf. He puts Diggersby's pokeball away, and pulls out another one; he throws it, releasing his Blastoise. He then holds out his wrist, showing his Mega Ring, and touches the Mega Stone in it, making his Blastoise Mega Evolve into Mega Blastoise. "Mega Blastoise, use Water Pulse!" The large cannon barrel on Mega Blastoise's back releases a massive blast of pulsating water at Drapion, hitting it, and thanks to his Mega Launcher ability, the attack was strong enough to knock it out.
"NOOOOO!" shouts Celosia.
"Way to go, Rolf!" said Kevin.
"That was close." said Nazz. Celosia growls as she returns her Drapion to its pokeball.
"This isn't over!" said Celosia as she tosses pokedollars at Rolf and rejoins her comrade. Nazz steps forwards.
"I'll take on the green-haired lady." said Nazz.
"You can call me Bryony." replied the green-haired woman, now identified as Bryony; she walks forward and pulls out a pokeball. "Liepard, go!" She throws a pokeball and releases a Liepard. Nazz throws a pokeball and releases her Corsola.
"Liepard, Hone Claws!" said Bryony. Liepard retracts glowing red claws from its paws, and it becomes surrounded by an orange aura, increasing its attack power.
"Corsola, Ancient Power!" said Nazz. Corsola becomes surrounded by a silvery glow; the glow forms into a ball and she launches it at Liepard, hitting it, and damaging it.
"Liepard, Assurance!" said Bryony. Liepard becomes surrounded by a black aura, and it charges at Corsola.
"Iron Defense!" said Nazz. Corsola begins to glow and her body shines before Liepard rams her, knocking her back.
"Power Gem!" said Nazz. Corsola fires a red beam of energy from her horn, and it hits Liepard.
"Night Slash!" said Bryony. Liepard's claws glowed purple; it lunges at Corsola and it claws her, knocking her back.
"Spike Cannon!" said Nazz. Corsola fires glowing white spikes from her branches and they hit Liepard, damaging it.
"Assurance!" said Bryony. Liepard charges at Corsola and rams her, knocking her to the ground; she gets back up.
"Power Gem!" said Nazz. Corsola fires another red energy beam from her horn, and it hits Liepard, knocking it out. "Way to go, Corsola." Bryony returns Liepard to its pokeball; she then pulls out another.
"Let's see your Corsola handle this Pokemon." said Bryony. "Go, Bisharp!" She throws her pokeball and releases a red and black, bipedal, humanoid Pokemon with a yellow and black face, white hands and had several blades sticking out of it.
"What's that?" asked Nazz, pointing the pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Bisharp, the Sword Blade Pokemon, and the evolved form of Pawniard. Bisharp pursues prey in the company of a large group of Pawniard. Then Bisharp finishes off the prey." said the pokedex.
"Pawniard, Metal Sound!" said Bryony. Pawniard rubs his arms together and releases silver soundwaves from them; they hit Corsola and her defense weakens.
"Bubblebeam!" said Nazz. Corsola fires multiple glowing bubbles from her mouth and they hit Pawniard, damaging him.
"Metal Claw!" said Bryony. Pawniard leaps at Corsola and slashes her with one of its arms blades, dealing enough damage to knock Corsola out.
"No, Corsola!" said Nazz.
"Excellent job, Pawniard." said Bryony. Pawniard nods in response. Pawniard begins surging with energy. "It appears Metal Claw has increased Pawniard's attack strength." Nazz returns Corsola to her pokeball.
"You were great, Corsola." said Nazz. She puts Corsola's pokeball away and pulls out another one. "Pyroar, go!" She throws Pyroar's pokeball and releases her. "Use Work Up!" Pyroar becomes surrounded by a red aura and her attack and special attack strength increases.
"Bisharp, Feint Attack!" said Bryony. Bisharp leaps to the left and disappears; it reappeared next to Pyroar and it rams her.
"Fire Fang!" said Nazz. Pyroar's fangs become coated in fire, and it bites Bisharp's abdomen, dealing super effective damage to it.
"Assurance!" said Bryony. Bisharp becomes surrounded by a black aura, and it rams Pyroar, knocking her back.
"Rock Smash!" said Nazz. Pyroar swats Pawniard back with her paw, deaing super effective damage to it, and weakening its defense; Pawniard begins surging with energy.
"You activated my Pawniard's Defiant ability." said Bryony.
"What's that?" asked Nazz.
"When one of my Pawniard's stats is lowered, her attack increases." replied Bryony. "Pawniard, Assurance!" Pawniard rams into Pyroar, knocking her to the ground; she struggles to get up.
"Use Fire Fang!" said Nazz. Pyroar's fangs become coated in fire, and she bites into her abdomen, dealing enough damage to knock it out.
"No!" exclaimed Bryony.
"Way to go, Pyroar." said Nazz. Bryony returns Pawniard to her pokeball and she throws pokedollars at Nazz. Jonny suddenly arrives at the room.
"Guys, I got an elevator key!" said Jonny, holding up the elevator key.
"Sweet." said Kevin.
"Can't believe it; beaten by children." said Celosia.
"Don't hurt us; we'll tell you everything." said Bryony.
"What are you up to?" asked Kevin.
"We've been using the Kalos Power Plant electricity we stole to activate our ultimate weapon, but we also need energy from Pokemon also." said Bryony. "The stones on Route 10 will steal the energy we need to power our weapon."
"That's south of Geosenge Town." said Nazz.
"Those stones are the graves of Pokemon." said Celosia.
"You would desecrate the resting places of Pokemon for your accursed weapon?!" exclaimed Rolf.
"The lives of those Pokemon were taken by the ultimate weapon; their lives were the price of peace." said Celosia. "Team Flare will make our wishes come true by sacrificing something precious." Kevin turned towards the others.
"Let's get that Lysandre dork!" said Kevin. Nazz returns Pyroar to her pokeball and the group run out of the room. They arrived at an elevator; Jonny uses the keycard to open the door and the group run inside. The door closes behind them and the elevator begins to move downward; moments later, the elevator door opens, and the group find themselves in a hall that had stairs going down.
"What do you think is down here?" asked Jonny.
"Maybe Lysandre is here?" said Nazz.
"Let's find out." said Kevin. The group exit the elevator and they begin running down the stairs; they soon came across Lysandre who was holding a key attached to a chain. He was standing in front of what appeared to be electrified bars; behind them was a tall man with long white hair, wearing an orange wool hat, a gray jacket over a sweater, a pair of jeans and boots, and a teal scarf. The man turned towards the group.
"Children; you must get the key from this man." said the tall man. Lysandre turned towards the group.
"You kids just don't know when to quit." said Lysandre.
"Quitting's something I'm not really good at, dork." replied Kevin.
"Children; you must stop this man from using the weapon; all will vanish again." said the tall man. "Do you want to know unending pain?"
"I don't think so." replied Jonny.
"This is AZ." said Lysandre, pointing at the man, now identifed as AZ. "He has the same name at a king that lived three thousand years ago." Lysandre walks past the group. "Follow me to my chambers."
"What do we do?" asked Nazz.
"Let's see what this dork is up to." replied Kevin. He and the rest of the group followed after Lysandre.
Moments later, the group arrived at a large room; they see Lysandre with a pale man with red hair and goatee, wearing orange goggles, orange suit, tie, and orange shoes, along a with a glove on his left hand.
"So, the pokeballs we received and the Pokemon we gathered are where they need to be." said the man Lysandre was talking to. "Add it all up, and it means all preperations are complete; all that's left is to put the plan in motion."
"I'm counting on you, Xerosic." said Lysandre. He and the man, now identified as Xerosic turned towards the group who ran to them. "Hello, children; one push of a button, and we can activate the ultimate weapon from this room."
"Come on, man; this is totally bogus!" said Kevin.
"I believe being the chosen one means you have the potential to change the future." said Lysandre.
"Not a good one, like the one you're planning." said Nazz.
"Well, let's see if you have the potential to stop us from activating the ultimate weapon or not." He then walks away.
"So, you're the kids I've been hearing so much about." said Xerosic. "I want to do a little research on you kids. Let us begin." He pulls a pokeball out of his pocket; he throws it and releases a Crobat.
"Hey; this guy has a Crobat just like Eddy." said Jonny. Nazz points the pokedex at Crobat.
"Crobat, the Bat Pokemon and the final evolved form of Zubat. Having four wings allows it to fly more quickly and quietly so it can sneak up on prey without its noticing." said the pokedex. Kevin steps forward while pulling out a pokeball.
"Careful, Kevin; you don't have much Pokemon who can battle after that one with Lysandre." said Nazz.
"Got it." said Kevin as he takes out a pokeball and tosses it, releasing his Golurk.
"Crobat, use Wing Attack!" said Xerosic. The Crobat flies at Golurk and strikes it with one of its wings.
"Golurk, use Mega Punch!" said Kevin. Golurk swings its fist at the Crobat, hitting it, and sends it flying back.
"Crobat, use Air Cutter!" said Xerosic. The Crobat flaps all four of its wings, releasing a barrage of blades that hit Golurk.
"Golurk, use Rollout!" said Kevin. Golurk tucks itself into a ball and rolls at Crobat, slamming into it, doing super effective damage.
"Crobat, use Bite!" shouts Xerosic. The Crobat flies at Golurk and bites down on it, doing super effective damage, and making it flinch, cancelling the Rollout.
"That guy is good!" said Nazz.
"He used a move that causes flinching to stop Rollout." said Jonny.
"Well, that won't stop us!" said Kevin. "Golurk, use Heavy Slam!" Golurk jumps above the Crobat and falls down on it hard, and thanks to the difference between their weights, it easily did enough damage to knock it out.
"Way to go, Kevin!" said Jonny.
"Rolf is pleased." said Rolf.
"Nice one, dude!" said Nazz. Xerosic frowns as he returns his Crobat to its pokeball.
"Impressive." said Xerosic as he puts his Crobat's pokeball away and pulls another one out of his pocket. "Now let's see you beat my strongest one!" He then throws the pokeball, releasing a Pokemon that looked like an upside-down squid with a dark pale purple lower body with yellow markings on it, a dark grayish blue head with hairlike growths coming out of the top of it, yellow eyes, and a red beak.
"What is that?" asked Nazz as she points the pokedex at the Pokemon.
"Malamar, the Overturning Pokemon, and the evolved form of Inkay. It lures its prey close with hypnotic motions, then wraps its tentacles around it before finishing it off with digestive fluids." said the pokedex.
"That Pokemon looks tough." said Jonny.
"Well, we can beat it!" said Kevin.
"Let's see if you're right, young man." said Xerosic. "Malamar, use Night Slash!" Malamar swings one of its tentacles that was coated in dark energy at Golurk, hitting it, and dealing super effective damage. Golurk struggles to its feet.
"I better end this quick." said Kevin. "Golurk, use Dynamic Punch!" Golurk brings its fist back that was shaking with energy and throws it at the Malamar with increased power thanks to its Iron Fist ability, managing to strike it, and sending it flying.
"Malamar, use Payback!" said Xerosic. Malamar releases black streams of energy from its body at Golurk, doing double the super effective damage it normally would've thanks to it taking damage recently, and knocks it out.
"Poor Golurk." said Nazz.
"Kevin really needs to get his Pokemon to a Pokemon Center after this." said Jonny. Kevin returns his Golurk to its pokeball.
"You were great, buddy." said Kevin. He puts Golurk's pokeball away, then pulls out another one, he throws it, releasing his Greninja.
"Get it, Kevin!" said Jonny.
"Greninja, use Smokescreen!" said Kevin. Greninja opens his mouth and releases a plume of smoke from it, blocking himself from view.
"Malamar, use Pluck!" said Xerosic. Malamar runs towards the smoke and jabs its beak into it but doesn't hit anything.
"Greninja, use Water Shuriken!" said Kevin. Greninja leaps up out of the smoke and releases a barrage of shurikens made of water at Malamar, hitting it repeatedly.
"Malamar, use Superpower!" said Xerosic. Malamar becomes coated in a blue aura as it grabs Greninja with its tentacles and throws him hard into a wall, doing super effective damage. As Greninja struggles to his feet, a blue surge of energy erupts from him.
"That's Greninja's Torrent ability!" said Jonny.
"Okay, man; use Surf!" said Kevin. Greninja summons up a large wave of water and rides it towards the Malamar, slamming into it, and sending it crashing into a wall. "Now use Quick Attack!" Greninja moves quickly towards the Malamar as it struggles to stay afloat and slams into its face, knocking it out.
"This can't be!" shouts Xerosic.
"Kevin did it!" cheered Jonny.
"Rolf believed in Kevin's skill." said Rolf.
"Way to go, Greninja." said Kevin. Greninja lets out a relieved sigh. Xerosic returned Malamar to its pokeball and puts it away; he tosses pokedollars at Kevin's feet, which he picks up.
"You children have amazing skill and bravery." said Xerosic. "For that, I will tell you something interesting. "The ultimate weapon was used to put an end to the war in an instant. With it, Team Flare will free Kalos of the foolish humans who plague it."
"Dude; that is so not cool!" exclaimed Nazz. Xerosic runs to a red button on a console behind him and pushes it.
"What did you do?!" asked Kevin.
"Look at the monitor." replied Xerosic, pointing at a monitor on the wall. The group looks at the monitor to see an aerial view of Geosenge Town.
"Hey, that's Geosenge Town!" exclaimed Jonny, remembering that's where he first met Korriana. They watched as the three pillars of stone in the center of the town rise up, then sink into the ground.
"What sorcery is this?" asked Rolf. Suddenly, a massive crystal bursts out of the ground; it began to rise out of the ground with cables attached to it.
"What the heck is that?!" asked Nazz.
"Must be that ultimate weapon." replied Kevin. The crystal suddenly opens up, revealing a red crystal inside, making it resemble a flower; it falls onto the ground, knocking over houses and it begins to turn.
"The ultimate weapon is reborn." said Xerosic. "The poisonous flower has bloomed; all but Team Flare shall perish!" The group looked in horror at the ultimate weapon on the monitor. "The boss's dream of creating a beautiful world will come true!"
"Guys; we can't let this happen!" said Nazz. "We have to stop this!"
"Right; first we'll get our Pokemon healed at the Pokemon Center, then we'll stop these Team Flare dorks!" said Kevin.
"Let's go, Plank!" said Jonny. The group run out of the room; minutes later, they ran out of Lysandre Cafe.
