Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 75: Changes And The Search For Camelot II
"It was 6 hours later that, I came back, but if their attempts to break me never worked, she went to beating with a whip next, as you're about to see. But she's as sadistic as her book self right now, by that I mean here, Meyers and I being tricked. She hid her true self from us, in an alternate storyline, based on the movie itself, these." he said, passing her a quintet of novels and she nodded sternly then. It's SG-1!"he said and Cromwell nodded.
As the twelve walked back through and Daniel passed him the GDO. "I believe this belongs to you, Sir." he said and Hammond smiled at him. "Nice work son." he said and Daniel smiled, before he could answer him, Lou got a look at his back. "Did anyone notice this, there's blood all over the back of his robes." he snapped as he touched his back. "No don't do that!" Daniel said through gritted teeth as his legs gave out.
"Daniel!" Sam and Anna shouted together as Lou and Jared lowered him to sit on the ramp. "Get a medical team in here, now!" Hammond shouted over his shoulder as he crouched in front of him. "What did she do to you this time, son?!" he said quickly to him and he sighed softly. "That's the part left out of the catch of being a pharoah for a queen goa'uld, they get abusive with their consorts, dad, in fact."
"Though the plan went without a hitch, she thought that I had a hand in helping Sam free Jack from being her first prime and punished me for it." he said as the adrenaline quit on him and he steadied him as Janet and Warner arrived. As Warner cut his shirt open to get a better look. "Oh my god, she's used a whip or some sort of branch on his back, I need 10cc's morphine, stat!" he snapped and the duo nodded.
As Perry loaded a syringe with the amount needed, and gave it to him and he relaxed after five minutes as he leaned forward and Warner steadied him. "Alright again what happened, Janet told me she attacked you, before you told us O'neill let you have it. And out of anger at the time today, but if I know anything the duo are going to turn this around and tell Mackenzie." he told him and he said then gently.
"Her new first prime let me have it with the whip, ten lashes, because without Sam there, she though I betrayed her, and this was punishment." he said to them and she nodded to him. "These are more then just ten lashes, it looks like someone used a tree branch across your back." Janet snapped gently and Anna got one fast look and her eyes narrowed in anger as she answered her at that remark.
"Not a tree branch, but something just as bad, certain areas of punishment in the valley of the kings, they used a cat O'9 tails on the victim they're punishing. But that's what caused this, the amount of blood lost it takes a week to recover from here. And even then they're sore for two weeks." she said and the two nodded. "Come on, lets get you into the infirmary." Sam said and he nodded to her.
As they helped him up there gently. "Harper, I want four guards on his private room." Janet said and the guard nodded to the order gently at that remark. "And one other thing, wildfire means no one in or out, lock out the damn phones. From anywhere but directly to the joint chiefs for a month. What energy I have, I just drained it all, from this situation." Daniel said with an exhausted tone in his voice.
As Perry helped him stand up as he wrapped his arm across his shoulder. "I wasn't running away from the trauma and decided to run psychological testing. And on those two, but my godfather is your boss, Janet." he told her and she nodded. "General Matheson is your godfather, then what is Jared to you exactly, if General Carson named all three of you." Warner asked him and he explained that.
"My brother, his mother is my godmother, Matheson was my mother's best friend, Dillon is my dad's. Our parents have been together since college, but they were the best of friends. With our fathers all scientist and medical, forensic scholars we took to ideas of brains over brawns and drew up this plan. Test the duo, and the tests came back as they flunked it at the moment here now."
"We decided to run this in a way our fathers would, though I don't know what happened to the third member of our trio. But her name was Anna Matheson, I lost contact with her after the accident, my first foster home. And I ran into her at the Foresters place, before again at the Blacks, but ever since that was it."he said and they nodded as she went over it gently at that news as Anna came in then.
Just as she was saying it they heard a scream of pain then from further down the hall and Daniel nodded."One of them's suffering detox from this crap right now, or is it just the pain of withdrawal from the damn thing?" he asked and Jared sighed as Anna answered him. "It's both, Jack flipped out the second he heard that he was about to go through another detox and Uncle Jake treated him before."
"Hey you okay, my brother?" she asked and Janet sighed. "He was attacked by her and then he took ten lashes to the back right now, Anna." she told her and she and Jared both nodded."No amoxicillin Janet, penicillin, he's allergic to amoxicillin, he's also allergic to heavy doses of pollen." she said and Janet stroked her hand across back of his neck as he turned his head as Warner stitched up the lacerations.
"I got the test and meaning to it, I know that was faked, what did the duo and Carson tell you to do since O'neill reactivated." Janet asked and he explained that to her. "After his son died he was deactivated and came close to suicide, but he was reactivated without a psych eval. After Hammond reactivated him, and they and Sam brought me home, I made contact with the trio that second day."
"They asked me to run psychological testing on him, but he blew the first one after the virus hit them and they're furious at the fact he lied. Regarding blowing things up on Abydos at the time, but what they're also furious about. In order now but five tests and he flunked them all. And that he brought back a contagion and then attacked me out of jealousy." he said and they nodded to him.
"Well I'd say this made it clear, despite the trauma you're facing it and went to go on a dangerous mission, though you had a concussion. I'm not looking at psyche evals in your case, that was brave and courageous and like George said. There are better ways to complete the mission without death and destruction." they heard and he shifted his position to see Carson come walking in and he smiled.
"Hey Uncle Jake, well I got the results in this mission, tactical knowledge and getting our prototype back. But the virus, followed the cake, then Ry'ac, Nem, Hathor, and he knocks me into the wall again, but he's about to suffer a psychosis. We keep this up and the next one isTeal'C and a judgement day call for him, but I completed the mission." he said to him and they nodded gently to him.
"You may not have told us what you had in mind that though James may see this as you're a megalomaniac. To us, the three of us, the fact you faced down a trauma like this and the fact you were hurt here as well by said trauma. That's high moral fiber, and as was you going to a way that insured you. The 12 of you came back alive, so hopefully we don't have further problems like this."
"But the amount of stunts done as a child is one thing after we saw each other last, but you keep this up. And at the rate this is going I'm not going to make it to my next birthday, son, so take it down a few notches." Carson said and he nodded as he pressed his forehead to the older man's gently at that. And Carson ran his hand through his hair gently in response and their parents nodded to that response.
"Yeah alright that gets us all caught up now finally, but what I guarantee here is he's never coming near you again. With the military version launching out every other week, they never had the time or money to treat PTSD. And there's why, in truth, why the spouse calls the psychiatric department, of a civilian sector, so the flashbacks. Now, never result in the patient harming themselves, or anyone else now, with us being both a city and military base here."
"Rolled into one, we have the time to do this, as you recover now, though I guarantee here, there is no way that I'm allowing them anywhere, that touch you again. And I'll cut it off right now, and I mean every word here." Cromwell said, not seeing the light was on, and Jack started shaking in fear, realizing Daniel retrieved the team and Cromwell. And they were at the outpost and now the team that he just abandoned to a worst then death fate, had turned traitor.
"Guys, how many novels did we decide per book now, by that I mean tv novelizations, these books are the size of two kids books together, in the 11 and 12 year olds?" Daniel asked and Landry nodded. "There's 6 of them." he said and Daniel nodded. "Then book 1 of the story is split into two halves now, the novel of the SG-1 pilot episode, was split into two halves." he said and Landry nodded. "So 26 episodes, and this covers the entire story." he said and he nodded.
"The pilot episode is Smoke and Mirrors, the next one follows the same track, and as we organize the base program, as it shows a flashback memory of the episode, Need. From my point of view, the second shows the attack, my calling the cops, and telling them everything. My being recruited by you Sir, as Sanderson alerted me to the fact that you decided now. To reactivate Catherine's side, and I been reassigned here." he said and they nodded smiling.
"Nice we get a play back, from your point of view, what really happened here right now, before the follow up episode to this, now shows the attack, hospitalization and reassignment. Episode 3 is really episode 2) Reassignments, 3) Yesterday's Enterprise, 4) A Matter Of Time. And 5) The Search For Camelot, so that's the first book, the rest of the series. Shows the most important missions involved here, next book after decided." Haden said, smiling gently then.
"Uh guys, light's on, he heard everything!" Vala said and Cromwell looked at the camera and said it sternly. "Well I'm back Jack, and like I said then, somebody dropped a dime on the incursion, you got hit, you went down, and I made a judgement call. In order to save the rest of the team." he said to him sternly then. "And I saw you take off. And then I saw four months of my life disappear in some stinking Iraqi prison." he snapped at him angrily.
"I thought you were dead!" he said firmly at that that and he shouted it at him. "You thought wrong! What do you want? You want me to forgive you, is that it?" he asked and Cromwell nodded. "Yeah, I guess I do." he said to him and he said it. "Well, that's tough. What happened to 'nobody gets left behind?'?" he said and he activated the frozen telemetry. "Well, what about him?" he asked him sternly and pointed at the image then.
"That is a totally different scenario." he said and he said it forcefully. "That is the same damn thing, Jack, the exact same thing, you did it twice, you have absolutely. I mean absolutely no room to talk, as you did it twice in 2 years, this is the hardest part. And of being a commander, if you waited just a bit longer, he'd have gone to Cimmeria. And alerted you he was there, before you nearly get yourself arrested, again." he said sternly and he swallowed.
"But I always knew you had a sadistic and competitive streak in you, but I never thought you could be so cruel, as to use your record, on a man 10 years younger then we are. Just because he resisted her where you can't, it maybe different techniques, but he did it. And you snap out of jealousy, well you losing half your genomes is a small price to pay now. For using your black ops training against your own men, get over it." he said and he went white in fear then.
"But I'll tell you this much, touch him like that again, and I'll cut it off, so keep your hands to yourself, you little bastard!" he snapped, and promptly switched off the radio, as they watched him shaking, now seeing everything he done. Over the last two years now, had even their non SGC peers absolutely disgusted then with him….
Colorado Springs:
After close to 10 days and a multitude of court cases now, the findings of the custody case of Cassie has been, she was to stay with Hammond's daughter Kate Bennett now. During that time, Janet's house had been closed and locked up, and all bills were discontinued now. Till she got out of psychiatric evaluation, in that time the first of the juniors novels appeared. When at the book stores, entitled Stargate Atlantis Origins 1: Smoke And Mirrors, reading that now.
She decided to buy it with the allowance that Janet gave her the last two years now, and she saw, to her shock, instead of a new cast of characters. Is she saw Daniel and Teal'C on the cover of it, with three new people she never seen before. In remembering what Daniel told her now, about biographies, she realized the story was a biography to the life in the program. The actors playing her adult friends had added 3 new characters to the sextet, creating 9 regulars.
The actor playing on her other favorite scifi tv show, and his season two CMO now, as this answered every question to why Daniel left without a word, and Teal'C with him. As she was riveted to the story, the explanation highly interesting, she found she couldn't put it down. As she read the episode of Need from Daniel's point of view, the story more heartbreaking. Then anything she could ever imagine, as she reached his reactivation to return to La Rochelle….

"Probe's data indicates P3H—826 is a viable next mission for SG-1 sir." she said and Hammond look over her shoulder. "You think anyone's going to trust you now after this Captain, attention on deck. You lied to him, you lied to save your but right now after you nearly killed me by the cave in. I never would have needed that damn thing if you never put me there now!" Daniel snapped out and they turned around at that quickly then.
As he came in dressed like a military officer, with the air of the next two ranks above, with a beyond stern look on his face. "Never expected here to hear me sound like this, who do I remind you of, he's brunette, has a beard, and is next in command of a certain crew?" he asked and she paled at that remark."Well I'm him in our generation captain, that you should have really listened closer to my remark in the lab, disagree with me fine."
"Want to take it to the general fine, through me, but you ever do an end run around me again, I'll snap you back so hard you'll think you're a first cadet again." he said sternly and she started shaking in fear, realizing she did just that, and Daniel. He went Will Riker on her, as Hammond crossed his arms then. "I'm working for the medical 3 stars Captain, Colonel." he said sternly and she went white in fear, and Jack swallowed hard in shock then.
"More accurately Matheson, Parker, Ferretti and Warren, and the psychiatric generals, Carson and Sanderson, they needed a research battery on the technology. And while I was doing this, I spotted a trade worth 900 octillion, and enough now here. To bail the program out of the redline, but you just handed yourselves over to Pyrus no argument. Pyrus is the leader of Nichole, Andre, Porthos and Athos." he said and they paled at that.
"You ever consider that was a knee jerk reaction last week, 'you never really known what love is', 'Make him make the first move, Conway!'. That you just did exactly as I wanted you to do, to try to save yourselves, but your desperation. You're dangerous, to yourselves and everyone else, Airmen, place SG-1 under arrest." he said sternly and they both paled at that, realizing he wanted that reaction, and Hammond crossed his arms.
And they grabbed the duo, and Teal'C moved to him sternly. "So what was it you said, some naquada, tell me, is that worth anything to the president. The Joint Chiefs, or the medical department, knowing how volatile it is, after it destroyed the basement. That we're looking for ways to defend ourselves, not start war with the rest of this planet, but evidently you took your oath a little too seriously?" he asked and she paled at that.
"Defend against all enemies foreign and domestic, this is not the Cold War, what are you going to do next. Going to turn said vision's next weapon back on earth, and kill the Russians or the Chinese next. Do you not know the men that you're trying to get involved with, are all suffering the same thing. That Donald's character intended here, creating biological weapons, that's not what this program is meant for here Captain."
"You idiot, where the hell is your brain, do you not see what they're trying to do here with me, because they destroyed my side of the program. Just to turn the gate into a strategical weapon, I'm the only thing standing in the way of that. No me, they do a Palpatine, and strong arm the planet into submission, with use of the technology we gathered?" he snapped and she went white in shock and fear at that remark and he nodded.
Knowing she was realizing she joined with the state department. "You are such an idiot young lady, you never see this, because you're beyond naive here."Hammond said sternly and she started shaking in fear, now realizing she was just a stooge, and Janet with her. But their plans never worked. "No son, it's not, that's worth absolutely bupkiss, to us, so tell me, what you find exactly?" General, Dr. Jim Whitlock asked him and she went white.
"I found a couple miracle drugs, that will save trillions on sedatives, so interrogation of being more humane to the way the duo wanted. As Omac sees soldiers like this idiot, Makepeace, Maybourne and now Kinsey primitives. Lya and Omac saw I learned something here, that something is why use violence when you can think. No bombs, no torture, no guns, I just lead them into a trap." he said and Sanderson nodded then.
"And that shows nothing's wrong with you, you had a completely human reaction, to whatever happened during Hathor here." he said and Jack went white then, realizing they and Hammond agreed with what he did to them. "What did the forensics say to you, after I nearly took the gun to him." he said and they all nodded. "We see that you were not letting him touch you sexually a second time here, that you were ready here now."
"To go down fighting, but keep their hands off you, or you, as your wolf, were going to rip it off." Hammond said and Jack started shaking violently, realizing that's why he had the gun pointed at him, as the sarcophagus unlocked his real fighting instincts. "Anyway here is along with this, repeated aggravating of the torn muscles, or broken bones now. And a drug that can put some passion back into the marriage now, total came to here now."
"Of $221.5 septillion, in exchange for 783.5 octillion in exchange, which is a fair one, but if this stuff is to our liking, we can get more of it. But I told them blue teams, and the green to him are trouble magnets, and barely wrecked my trade deal." he said and they all looked at her and Jack and she went white at that remark. "Blue is the SGA, Green the SGC and you did the trade under the SGA now, a deal worth enough to buy us out."
"And x100,000, so the SGC is a hindrance to your trade deals, if it's not military tech, it's worthless to him, to these people, but medical technology. Planetary protection, like the whatever you created in that vision now. Weapon's neutralizers, Nano walls for security, the possibilities are endless, as we're not carving it up. The planetary resources, just to protect earth right now." Hammond said and she swallowed hard at that.
"Well the key was what Steve's boss mentioned, wining and dining them, what Steve hated: business dinners, racquetball. Which is tennis to them, or playing other sports, say soccer, bowling or what not, going to business retreats. Or attending business functions, said what was what Steven hated here, because it kept him away. From his family, and for days on end, but sound familiar here." he said and they both nodded then.
As they looked at Jack and he started shaking. "Only why need to do that, with you, to him, they were all green turned red, only the duo were red, and to him. So want to hold people hostage, with benefits, yeah okay now, let's see how you like it. When your words get reversed on you, as your target for your actions, dines on my best food. While enjoying the scenery, has activities to keep him occupied." he said to them gently.
And they all nodded smiling sternly. "Well that's ironic, you're cutting corners to get the job done, all your attitude. Now shows me is exactly as you told me last year, you're military CIA, ergo, you, and Makepeace, are NID. It was never more clear to me then now, what's next, they don't share, you're going to steal their technology." Hammond said sternly and he went white then, realizing Hammond figured out what he did for a living.
"Well sorry, as Danny is exactly the type of officer I want, he understands this right now, as such, you were going to hold the Tollan hostage. Seems here that Pyrus used you as leverage against the NID, till the deal was completed. If you never caused that cave in, it's exactly as Maybourne said to us, in what he planned. And with them, great view, the best food, every convenience, everything they need till the deal is finished."
"Nice tactic, Sire, but it couldn't happen to a nicer guy, or lady, they deserve it, but hey here, what goes around, comes around and it's coming back around. You're a perfect prison for sin, and their sins are anger and greed. Her's, if she keeps this up, are her refusal to believe she's not infallible, and she's suffering it. In schizophrenia, because she's desperate to protect herself from your earl." Hammond said sternly to this.
And Jack paled. "Oh I see what's happening, the NID, the NID possibly have the beta gate, and Makepeace, once you never came back. Told them to go get you, because he's not going back in there, knowing his version of Aramis sees him. And Johnson, it's back in the bedroom, and one by one, they get arrested as Kinsey now. Is losing his side project, faster then he can blink." Ferretti said and he went completely white.
"Nice planning, you're destroying his side project, before they can blink now, by sending him our most corrupted network, and she. And Frasier don't see this, because their pride, fear and naivety are refusing too. As they joined with military CIA, state department, because after they shut down Catherine and took control. They're about to use the upgrades to strong arm the rest of the planet into submission here now."
"That your talking to me during the Caveman plague, says threat to their planning, in everyway you can say it, as does your bringing back Catherine. You never agreed with anything they do, and they see you as a threat, only now that they got arrested. For espionage, they're trying to get rid of you now, because no you in truth. Means they can start destroying countries with this technology." Hammond said and he nodded.
"This is no life, it's a freakin' prison!" Jack said desperately and Sanderson nodded sternly to him. "That's the whole point young man, how do you like it, when they turn your own words back on you, he's better then you expected. Proving to us, just how much like Kennedy, like Maybourne, you and Makepeace really are. That he reverses your words on you, for Hathor right now." Whitlock said sternly and he started shaking in fear.
"And out of crazed jealousy, so based on the Othello complex, you try to kill your own team mate and take her with you, only they're. That's Pyrus's entire kingdom, are not amused right now, by behavior here. And decided to reverse your words back on you, seems he was experimenting with that viagra drink. And there's your alibi to us, he's getting tanked up on the technology, screwing the princess." Ferretti said to him then.
"Daniel was keeping us updated, directly after his first message, which 10 days after that letter was sent, and this was killing Jared, Lou, Anna and David. They are praying he never goes through with the changing elixir repeated dosing. As wipes his memories, ergo here, he's cutting all ties with Earth, thanks to you, you little shit. Your idea worked a little too well, as you little shit, but only he knows the country's."
"In planetary coordinates, and he's erasing that, and everything else you need, you little SOB." Hammond said sternly and he went white, realizing without that knowledge they were screwed here, and they didn't know which planets were the courts. "But serves you right, out of the Othello complex, you try to kill him, and he decides. After she's with-holding information he wants, you don't need him, nobody in this rat hole does now."
"So nice try, and with that, place SG-1 under arrest, put them and SG-3, barring Patterson, Teal'C, Judson and Morrison in isolation where they can speak to no one." he snapped off then to the guards then and they nodded sternly to him then, and she went white in fear then, realizing her trying to keep her secret still got herself in trouble. And enough her father was going to be so disappointed in her, and she lost her godfather's trust now.
"This is my job pure and simple, that if they can't handle it now, the amount of effort put into creating a trade deal, then I'm leaving without them. And taking Teal'C with me, as he gets to see Ry'ac and Drey'auc more often now." Daniel said and Hammond nodded and Jack went white, realizing that's exactly what he just told him in the mines. "And there's irony for you, have your words reversed on you." Ferretti said to that sternly.
"In both ways, but if that's not cold blooded irony to the thinking of military CIA, and nothing ever is. But we're about to become more strict with the NID, so if you want to go there, whatever you did to yourself. And Daniel's destroying the old sarcophagus, because the level necessary to change yourselves back. Said is exactly the number he took in here, x's 4, that thing is broken." he said and Jack went white in fear at that news.
"But 1x3: 3, 2:6, 3:9, 4:12, and so on, he said 9 to 10, that totals to 27 to 30, which is the maximum safest dosage, before it starts effecting you mentally and spiritually." Hammond said and she paled, never thinking he knew that. "You're cheating, he's experimenting on it for us, till we have a full doctorate. On the effects of the technology and it takes that to undo the effects of the elixir." he said and she swallowed.
"Seeing Pyrus's explanation in action here right now, we see this as it was never the sarcophagus at all, but the elixir. So basically you lied to us, you never did the research on the technology. So why should we believe you exactly, knowing the psychosis your commander carries and now. It appears we have a second getting started, why are you so desperate to keep him from leaving." Whitlock said to her then.
And she started shaking in fear, realizing the order finally, that it had come from the entire medical/psychiatric team. "The research was genuine here young lady, coming from an Earthling point of view, your benefactors are biased on the technology. After running the research, he went to the oldest living human, who obliged. In a question/answer session here and told us what he knows, and that finished our research off now."
"As such here, that why should we take your opinion, and after you put him in the emergency room, he sent us a letter, telling us exactly what happened. And after his 10 days resting his legs, he came to the gate and started periodic, every 36 hours. In reports, as we told him, to keep his head down, finish his research here, and. In truth, protect the civilians, ignoring your commander's orders, so no, nice try here now."
"But news flash young lady, I'm the medical leader of the SGA, blue command as they call us, and I'm preparing to recall everyone, and assign him to Hank Landry. As he said, you don't need him, nobody in this rathole does, okay be like that. You're not getting any progress done, but him now, we can get alot done medically." Sanderson said to her sternly and she started shaking violently in fear, as she realized he'd take him away.
"So you think you could further the trade deal for us, when the time comes, Baby?" Sanderson asked and Daniel nodded. "I never thought I'd hear you call me that again Sir, but yeah I missed you too." he said and the older man smiled at the remark in affection and they all paled, realizing he was bonded to the grandfatherly general. "He's the military psychiatrist bonded to my family, through the Nashes themselves, in truth dad."
"Nash himself is my grandmother's best friend, the blonde, the quartet, his school crowd, pointed out to him on said movie, she's my grandmother, at 21." he said and Hammond and Ferretti nodded in amazement.
