"Heee hee… hehehe…"

Kaguya could not stop giggling.

She was on a facetime call with her beloved Miyuki Shirogane who was currently across the world from her.

It was also past her usual bedtime so she was of course her delirious loopy self.

"Shouldn't you be getting to sleep soon?" Miyuki recommended, "You do have an early flight."

"Nahhh it ok." Kaguya giggled, "I wuv being on facetime with you."

Miyuki couldn't help but blush a little. "I mean I do too but that flight tomorrow is very important."

"Yea but it can wait for later. I just wanna keep talking to you." Kaguya's speech slurred a little.

"You can talk to me all you want when you get here. Just go to bed and I'll see you soon." Miyuki said.

"Nuh uh. Not happening president." Kaguya cutely said.

Miyuki sighed. There was no getting through to this girl.

"If you don't go to sleep, I'm hanging up the call." Miyuki said.

Kaguya's fluffy face changed slightly. "Hmm how about no."

Miyuki sighed again. He set his phone up to give Kaguya a view of him putting his breakfast in the microwave.

"Your flight is at 6am right? You'll only be getting around 5 hours of sleep." Miyuki told her.

Kaguya brushed it off like it was nothing. "I'll just sleep on the plane heee.."

"That's if you even get on the plane." Miyuki muttered.

Kaguya couldn't hear what he said so she asked him to repeat. "What was that?"

"It was nothing. Go to bed." Miyuki told her again.

"Muuu, now I want to know!" Kaguya pouted. Her adorable face filled up the entire screen now. She was very close to the camera.

"Just go to bed please? For me?" Miyuki begged her.

Kaguya backed the camera away from her face. "But I can't! I'm just too excited hehe."

Tomorrow for Kaguya is the day she flys to California to begin her time at Stanford. It's been a long awaited day for both Kaguya and Miyuki so clearly, Kaguya couldn't help but be excited.

Miyuki sighed again. "I am too. But you really gotta take care of yourself."

Kaguya let a little red spread on her face. "Ahh you're so caring prezzz…"

Miyuki opened the microwave to get his bowl and set it on the counter. He noticed the lack of noise from his phone.

He turned to see a sleeping Kaguya, adorably snoring lightly with her phone still in her hand.

Miyuki couldn't help but chuckle. "See you tomorrow. Good night Kaguya."

He hung up the call and stuffed his phone into his pocket. Fishing a spoon from the drawer, Miyuki placed his bowl on the table. He took a seat and ate his oatmeal.

After a few bites of oatmeal the realization set in for Miyuki.

'This is actually happening! Kaguya is going to stay with me for the next however many years and we're going to go through school together and live together and be together and…'

Miyuki couldn't stop rambling in his head.

'What time is she going to arrive? You think she'll be hungry? Well if the flight is at 6am Japan time, it's around 15 hours…'

He went through the math in his head.

'She'll arrive at 9pm Japan time which is 5am here so I'll have to wake up early tomorrow then. Maybe she'll want breakfast so should I make some? Or wait it's 9pm in Japan so maybe dinner for her?'

He would not shut up.

Before he knew it, his bowl of oatmeal was finished. Miyuki also took a look around his apartment. It wasn't in the best shape as Kaguya hadn't been over for around a month due to preparing for her migration over to Stanford.

She wasn't there to help clean anything up so Miyuki's space became a bit of a mess due to her absence. You know how boys get with their rooms.

Miyuki also had no roommates as he decided not to get a dorm on campus and instead opted for an apartment that was a few minutes from campus.

'Maybe I'll do a little cleaning just for her.'

And so Miyuki spent the day cleaning his apartment of all the loose clothes laying around and what not. However not much was even cleaned in the end as he spent too much time checking the clock and scrolling his phone to try and make time move faster.

Before he knew it though, it was already 1pm in California which meant it was 5am in Japan. Miyuki stopped all his supposed cleaning and sat on his couch, staring at his phone screen. He knew that Kaguya would arrive at the airport at least an hour early so she should definitely be awake by now. And so he sat there, waiting for notification to pop up.

However, a notification never came. He waited a good 10 minutes and no alert ever popped up. There was a slight sadness in Miyuki right then, he was feeling very conflicted.

'Does she not want to let me know she's getting on the plane now?'

Little did he know, on the other side of the world, Kaguya was just having a little bit of an internet issue. Oh, and she may also be having a lack of sleep issue too.

When Kaguya closed her eyes and Miyuki hung up the call, the silence woke her up. Miyuki's voice was soothing her to sleep but with Shirogane hanging up the call, the silence ruined all that comfort that came from hearing his voice.

And so Kaguya woke up and could not go back to sleep due to how excited she was for her big move. And due to being so excited, she could not put down her phone, just trying to make the time go by faster. She used her phone so much, it ran out of battery and had to be charged on the way to the airport.

So now, Kaguya is in the terminal waiting for her plane to board, while charging her phone, while having terrible internet, and while having no sleep at all. Her brain isn't really thinking right now and so sending a text to Miyuki isn't really at the forefront of her thoughts.

She's kind of like a robot on autopilot right now.

Eventually though, Kaguya's plane called for everyone to board and she dragged her feet over to the check in. The receptionist let her through after seeing her pass and Kaguya quickly made her way through the tunnel. She entered the plane, somehow found her seat, and plopped herself right into it.

Now one would expect Kaguya to sleep here like she told Shirogane earlier but, she never did and she spent the whole 15 hour plane ride awake.

By now, she's been up for around 37 hours straight.

Kaguya looks like a corpse.

But she won't close her eyes and sleep, just cause she's so darn excited.

Meanwhile:

Shirogane is still agonizing over not getting a text from Kaguya.

A/n: I just wanted to make this cause I wanted to continue the lives of these characters after the manga. I also wanted to make a fic that's short for me to write cause honestly I don't feel like writing much but I wanna write. So this should be easy to make chapters I hope.
