Memories: Yasmin Khan
Police have begun their investigation search for the missing school boy, missing posters were put up from across town and other places. Yasmin manages to reach the boy's parents for any information about his disappearance from yesterday, She sits down the sofa as they talk about the investigation. The boy's mother couldn't hold back her tears because of her son being gone.
He was supposed to comeback home, but he didn't… why?
Did he send you any text messages after he left?
The boy's father passed his phone to Yasmin, she reads the message from their son Charlie. The last message was sent around 4:46 pm, she hands the phone back to Charlie's father while his continues to sob about their beloved son. Yasmin promises to do her job to their missing son and bring him back home, she heads off back into the police car and receives a call from the station.
There has also been another disappearance in Sheffield, strange another missing person, this is quite bizarre. Yasmin drives off back towards the police station for an important meeting. As she waits for the traffic lights to green at any moment, Yasmin looks at the angel statue pointing the finger at her. A car suddenly peeped at Yasmin since the traffic light turned green, but the statue suddenly disappeared.
It was right here about 15 seconds ago and then it vanished like magic. Yasmin doesn't know where the statue is, the next moment it was right there and it's gone like really gone. She drives off again, it's like she's about to lose her own mind. No one has ever statue disappeared in front of their eyes, they literally don't move or make face expressions, or maybe they don't talk which sounds kinda crazy for the world.
Yasmin arrives back to the police station as she heads towards the meeting with the rest of police officers on the front line.
He is known as Dave Barker, aged 44, brown hair with glasses. Last seen sine last night, he was walking out from whether-spoons. We have the CCTV footage that was taken in Sheffield.
Someone will have to volunteer for the investigation of Dave Barker anyone could, Yasmin has her own investigation to focus on her work. Being a police officer is only kind of job to arrest people for those who commit crimes and others, but being a detective can be the hard work to solve clues and mysteries. If she has that job as a detective it would be more better, but difficult can be more harder.
Yasmin only remembers about leaving her home without her family knowing, a police manages to her as they began to talk to each other. Yasmin feels like she's doing the wrong about leaving, she can't walk away from her family, no one would ever find her if she's gone away forever.
She receives a text message from her sister about dinner, Yasmin needed hurry things up, but she'll have to continue her job for tomorrow. Yasmin heads back home walking past through town and heading towards the Sheffield apartments, she stops for a moment and stood still until she turned around. That same statue from before it's like someone is following her for some kind of prank. She doesn't believe it's a prank, she feels like she's been stalked by statue. None of this doesn't make any sense at all where statues can't even move, they stood still like rocks. Yasmin tries to mind her own business by putting a brave face on and ignores the statue.
She eventually got back just in time for dinner with her family. She takes a seat next to Sonya Khan as they discuss about each other's days has been.
So you've been busy, how was work Yaz?
Tough. There's only two people gone missing around Sheffield.
Yasmin didn't mention about the statue, but she would rather talk about her investigation of a missing school boy. She doesn't where he is, since it's more harder to find him around Sheffield he could never to return back to his parents. Nobody really comes back into the world of reality, they've been gone too for long enough. But no one else hasn't seen anyone go missing in those strange places and time.
Here you go honey, you should drink this.
Her mother made an nice lemon tea for Yaz as she takes a sip from the flavoured tea. She then looks down to her tea and saw a scary look of the statue that gave her a jump scare, Yasmin nearly spilled her drink. It's like she's been cursed by the statue which for some reason, she looks back at her lemon tea by double checking it.
She thought that her minds were playing tricks on her luckily she doesn't it no more. Her sister came into the living room with Yasmin, she begins to look curious about Yasmin.
You don't look too good, what's on your mind?
Oh… just nothing, just need a bit of a rest, that's all.
The full moon risen from the dark sky, Yasmin lays her head gently on to her bed as she closes her eyes drifting off to sleep. Hopefully she can rest peacefully without the statues causing her grief and anxiety. Yasmin wakes up as she looks around in this dark forest, she has no clue where she is no foot path or anything. She hears the sound of someone running from the trees, quickly looking around the forest it's like someone is trying to approach towards Yasmin.
Hello? Is anyone there… hello?
Yasmin wonders around in the woods trying to find someone, she comes across of a young boy standing still by himself. She slowly approaches towards the boy, Yasmin started to recognise the boy as she gets even more closer towards him. She puts her left hand in his shoulder where he then turns around towards Yasmin. The boy has no face causing Yasmin to fall down on the ground, surrounded by the statues that are all around her. Yasmin started to scream in horror as she wakes up from her nightmare.
It was all just a dream, she woke up around nearly six a o'clock in the morning. She started to breath normal from her nightmares about the statues, why do they really torment her like this when she sees the missing school boy where he didn't have a face. She can't even get any sleep from this chaos.
Just around 7:08 Yasmin polished off her breakfast just to focus her investigation work as she heads off. A friend suddenly picked her up for work as they drive off to the station, they drove around fargate in town where Yasmin just keeps seeing the same statue from yesterday. She doesn't quite seems to understand why they are still here, it's like they're everywhere around Sheffield.
They've arrived at the station as Yasmin heads towards her office to continuing her investigation from yesterday. She searches through the files of Charlie, she reads everything from where he left school from that exact moment from where he went missing. Yasmin still needs to find more information and answers from the school, she leaves the station and gets into the police car while she drives to the school.
She walks inside the school by asking the students about Charlie's disappearance. None of those students didn't even see him when he went missing, Yasmin tried everything to the answer from every student of this school. One student approached towards Yasmin, he knows about Charlie's disappearance as they went into the cafeteria.
So he was your friend, before he went missing?
Yeah, he told me he was going to take a short cut.
Short cut? Where about did he go to?
The footpath towards him.
Yasmin finally got the information and answers from the student. Yasmin heads out towards the woods to find where Charlie went missing, she walked down towards Norfolk park. She begins to search far and wide around the woods, there was nothing else to trace down in the woods. Yasmin getting so close to find what she is looking for, but then she the pack bag that has the name written down.
"Property of Charlie"
She found the evidence that she was looking for, Yasmin needed to get back to the station to report the evidence from a missing student. They were all busy doing their jobs, there were more investigations about another missing person. It's kinda bizarre since there were two gone missing, but there was another missing person that can't be found.
Yasmin needed to check through the surveillance footage's about Charlie's disappearance, from the day that he went missing. She watches the surveillance where she sees Charlie walking down towards Norfolk park, he looks kinda scared like he's been followed by a stranger. Someone is trying to stalk him while walking towards home, the street lights began to flicker when it went off and then turned back on. The statue that she remembers suddenly appeared on the spotlight trying to follow Charlie.
Yasmin turns off the surveillance video after she watched it and believes it, the statutes might be the one who took Charlie away from his disappearance. But how did it captured him, what do they want from him.
So many questions going through her mind but couldn't figure it all out, her friend suddenly came into Yasmin's office. He wanted to ask her for a night to a pub around Sheffield city. She accepted from her friend while she packs up and leave for the end of the day.
They head over towards whether spoons, a local pub and restaurant as the two of them have a couple of drinks. They had a perfect conversation as well as laughing about other things than important jobs, Yasmin needed to go to the bathroom while she walks upstairs. Before she walks into the bathroom, she sees a picture that was taken many years ago. Yasmin looks closer towards the old picture and realises when she sees Charlie inside that house.
Oh my god… how?
She begins to wonder why Charlie was in the old picture of the house. She rushes downstairs back to the table, she wanted to thank her friend for buying the drinks while she heads back home. She finally got back home only to find her sister Sonya without their parents.
You're back home, how's everything?
Busy. I needed you come with me.
Wait, what?
Yasmin hasn't got any time to explain as she brings her sister along for a road trip, Yasmin and Sonya jumped into the car as they drive off from Sheffield. They've drove past from Hillsborough, she reminds her Sonya to text their parents while they were going out. Yasmin arrives at Stannington as she and her sister jumps out of the car.
She rushes towards the old house as she breaks through the door, she checks around the house to begin her search for Charlie. She goes around upstairs around the bedroom, bathroom and boiler room. She also checked around other rooms like the living room, dining room, kitchen and the back garden.
Sonya suddenly step onto a wooden floor which made a creaking sound, Yasmin and Sonya pulls off the wooden floor as Yasmin turns on her flashlight to look through the darkness. Only to see the body of Charlie that was left rotted in bones which traumatised Yasmin and her sister, she was too late to find him which made her upset.
Yasmin and Sonya ran outside from the house left feeling scared and shaken by a disturbance scene, Yasmin calls for help from the police letting them know that she's found Charlie's body inside the old house.
The police have finally arrived at the old house, Yasmin sat down with her sister Sonya. Her head tilted down keeping herself quiet. She knows what happened to Charlie's disappearance and feels like she's blaming herself for not finding him. None of this wasn't even her fault, she feels like she needed to apologise to Charlie's parents but nothing could ever change.
Yasmin gets back into her car leaving her in silence and scared, her sister Sonya puts her hands on Yasmin shoulder. She doesn't seem to blame her about Charlie's disappearance, Yasmin looks towards her sister and said something to her.
Look, none of this isn't your fault. You tried to find the missing boy and now he's dead.
Yasmin starts the engine as they head back home from the awful experience of the missing school boy.
