Sam and Gwen are in trouble and Max is the only one to help them but he can't do it alone.

Sam and Max Freelance Police Chapter 11
Max to the Rescue
We come to Max, back at his home in his garage of collectables, pacing and worried for Sam's safety as he was captured, and he had no idea where the Valley Gang took him
"Oh, wow, wow, oh, wow!" Max said to himself pacing "Keep it together, Max. Come on." He sees his phone buzz and looks at it and gasps "It's Gwen!"
He was about to answer but stops himself and said "Wait, no, Gwen could be bad. But she also could be good." He clutches his head "Oh, my brain hurts. I wish Sam was here. He'd know what to do. Uhh…." He decided to answer "Hello?"
"Hey. You, okay?" Gwen asked over the phone
"Uh, yeah, totally fine. Why do you ask?" Max asked doing his best to act cool.
"You don't have to worry, Max. I know how to get Sam back." Gwen said in reality she is tied to a chair and Mechamorph is holding the phone as she is forced to make the call to lure Max here. "I'm down at the bootlegging facility. Meet me here. And come alone."
"Well, that sounds super shady and not safe at all." Max said pointing that out
"I know. But you have to trust me." Gwen told him "And, Max, 'When you catch a Luma,' that's my favorite episode."
"Oh." Max said surprised and chuckles "Kind of a deep cut. Why is that your favorite?" But then he gets dial tone "Hello? Huh? I mean 'When you catch a Luma' is a good episode, plus the shows first crossover with another franchise, but I personally wouldn't call it great."
At the facility Sam in shocked whispered to Gwen "Why did you tell Max to come? You should have protected him."
"I gave him a secret message. A code." Gwen said to reassure Sam,
"Max forgets his own phone number." Sam points out doubting Max's abilities to decipher the code "How is he going to break a code?"
We come back to Max's garage where Max was watching the episode Gwen named in question. In the episode on a forest planet where General Skunkape jumps off some crates in front of several of his ape soldiers
"Listen up, you rejects from a jungle sanctuary." Skunkape said as Max laughs at it "I didn't think of this extraordinarily brilliant plan, only to have you idiots wreck the wrong spaceship. A spaceship full of worthless junk!"
"Still holds up. It's a great show." Max said proudly but then shakes his head "Ah, no! Focus, Max. Come on. Gwen is sending a message, but what?"
We see in the episode Judy and Emerl were trapped in an electro-cage as Skunkape smirks at their predicament.
"Your little Earth friends would never dream of leaving you hanging here." Skunkape said proudly "Would they?"
"All right. Think Max, think" Max said after pausing the episode to think "Judy is stuck in an electric cage. Electric cages when on produce light by using cool machinery. Machinery is cool, but in the wrong hands could be dangerous" He gasps "Someone is in a dangerous situation."
"Oh, like that time I dropped a bowling ball on my foot." Max said and gasps again "Gwen has ten toes and mostly likely enjoys Thai food. Gwen is tied up and in danger, and Sam is with her. It was Mechamorph working with Slick Jim the whole time. I cracked it. I'm coming, guys"
It probably wasn't the most rational way to come to the conclusion but Max figured it out and rushes to his Desoto to drive to the facility. Only…the car won't start
"Come on. Start, start, start, start!" Max said turning the key but it won't start "No, no, no, no." He sighs and tries to think what to do but then sees something in his garage, a copy of the magazine featuring Judy with the Desoto 2000 and realized who could help him.
We see Judy working on some welding on a muscle car in her garage/home and stops lifting her welding mask up and smiles seeing Max doing a cool leaning pose in the driveway.
"Honey, someone's doing a cool pose in the driveway." Judy calls out to her husband aka Emerl
The door opens and Emerl walks out into the garage with his and Judy's children following, he was carrying the youngest in a baby carrier vest.
Emerl makes some beeping sounds like he would on the show but clears his throat and reveals he can talk normal "Excuse me, Max old friend. The sights of you lights my core heart aglow."
"Freelance Police, I need your help" Max told them smiling
"We love you pal, but even with the Zootopia and Sonic residuals we got, we just can't invest in any more of your independent movies." Judy told him, thinking he was here to ask for more money for his independent work
"What…No I'm not here for that." Max told them quickly "I'm here for something very important. Although that script was pretty good. Did you even read it?"
Meanwhile back at the Rebooting facility, Boomtower grabs Sam and pulls him off the wall and takes him to the reboot machine while Goddard drags Gwen in her chair into the room
"Sam, I want to do something extra special with you." Slick Jim said smiles as Boomtower secures Sam into the machine "How would you feel like playing your old character, but with feet for ears and a pig snout on your rear end?"
"Alright, honest feedback, that really sounds terrible." Sam said as he struggled
"You're gonna like the way you look." Slick Jim told him "I guarantee it."
"You'll never get away with this." Gwen told the villains
"Really? The Men's Warehouse reference? Yeah, I think I will." Slick Jim said rolling his eyes. He then hits a button to seal the strapped in Sam, into the machine "Okay let's make some changes. Brain Blast!"
We then come to up over the city where we see the Desoto 2000 flying through the night sky. In it where Max, Emerl and Judy, the latter who was flying it
"Whoo-hoo-hoo! Whee!" Max cheers enjoying the ride "This is awesome! I'm amazed this thing actually can fly! And you know how to fly it."
"Yeah, I guess my character from the old show, my character from the Disney movie and my character in real life are basically the exact same person." Judy said thinking on it
Max laughs "Yeah, I guess so. Emerl, how are the kids?"
"Splendid." Emerl said smiling "I mean, sure, becoming a stay-at-home dad after my time with SEGA has it challenges, but it's the most rewarding job I could ever ask for…"
Max feels his cell phone buzz and looks at it. "Whoa!" He said surprised "It's actually my agent. Sorry can you hold on for a second?" He answers the phone "Wow! Thaddious Plotz. Haven't heard from you in a while. Did you not get my last seven years of messages?" He chuckles
Plotz chuckles as he sits in his office and said "Oh, Maxey, brother, so sorry. Look, I got a new assistant, and then we were off for the holidays." He was clearly making excuses. Plotz then said "Anyway, I'm watching the news."
Indeed on his laptop was a news video on the police raid on the Rebooting facility and Sam and Max featured heavily on it.
"You're the talk of the town. We've got heat. We've got offers." Plotz tells Max over the phone "I'm thinking book deal. I'm thinking reboot."
"Hey, actually, can I call you back?" Max said to him "I can't talk now."
"What? But, Max, you got to get your priorities straight right now" Plotz told him
"You know what? I think for the first time in my life, I am getting my priorities straight." Max said firmly "Friends are more important than business" He then throws his phone out the window of the flying police car.
"Max, buddy." Plotz is heard as the phone falls
"Good for you Max." Emerl said to him proudly
"Yeah, but you probably shouldn't have thrown your phone, though." Judy points out.
"Nope. Immediately regretted it the second I did it." Max said with a nod
Back at the Rebooting facility, Sam was slowly going into the machine.
"Well, it was a good run." Sam said worried "No, it wasn't. Who am I kidding?"
We see in the control room was Slick Jim, Captain Mechamorph, who was on his phone, and Goddard. Boomtower stayed in the room with the machine to ensure Gwen didn't try anything.
"Okay, let's see." Slick Jim said looking at the computer to the machine on a reder of Sam with legs for ears on it "Pig snout right on the butt" He laughs as he puts that on the diagram loading it into the machine commands to do "It's hilarious. Sam doesn't know what he's talking about."
Gwen sees the machine getting ready to operate and looks to the window of the control room "Stop him, Captain! You're better than this."
"No, I'm not." Captain Mechamorph said chuckling and not looking from his phone
We then see the Desoto 2000 approaching the Reboot facility
"Ah there it is. The foreboding fortress on the horizon." Emerl notes nodding
"Oh, I love it when you talk fancy, honey." Judy said with a smile
"Thank you my, love." Emerl said smiling as well
"Aw." Max said enjoying this
Judy looks at the scan readouts and said, "Looks like the only way in is through that exhaust pipe." She points it out
"Okay good." Max said and pulls out a rocket that was large enough for him to ride on "Try and line me up with it." He then gets out on the wing with Emerl
"Are you sure you want to do this, Max?" Emerl asked concerned
"As sure as I've ever been." Max told him getting on the rocket
"But you are like known for constantly making rash and terrible decisions." Judy points out
"I know, right?" Max said smiling
Emerl lights a match and said "Freelance Police, away." He lights the rocket.
The rocket launches and Max screams as he rides it towards the facility.
Back in the facility, Sam was getting to the laser area of it and screams and braces himself going under one of the lasers and hears something been deleted off him
Sam opens his eyes and sees the Oswald ear was now gone, he said relieved "Huh. At least that's gone."
Outside Max screams and laughs enjoying the ride as he called out as he headed for the pipe "Whoo! Hold on, Sammy!" He then sees he was losing altitude and going for the window below it instead "Uh-oh"
Max screams as he bursts into the window as he zooms over the place while Boomtower and Gwen do there best to follow him confused. Eventually Max unintentionally whacks Boomtower in the face with the rocket knocking him into the window of the control room getting Mechamorph, Goddard and Slick Jim's attention, the latter who chuckles amused at this as Boomtower dazed slides down the window.
Eventually Max falls off the rocket as it then collides with the machine which short cirtcuits it a bit causing the laser grid inside to go out and Sam's restraints to undo letting him out. However, the machine begins to go haywire
"No! No, no, no, no. Come on!" Slick Jim said trying to get it under control
"Hey, hey. Fix that." Mechamorph told him "You should fix it"
"Oh yeah. Thanks for the input, genius" Slick Jim said sarcastically
"Gwen." Max said running up to the detective smiling
"Max" Gwen said happy to see him
"Hey, are you okay?" Max asked as he worked on untying her "Where's Sam?"
"He's still in the machine." Gwen told him
"Over here!" Sam called out coughing as he jumps down from the top of the machine
"Sam, you're okay." Max said happy
"Yeah. You came for us." Sam said smiling "I never doubted you, little buddy." He then puts his thumb in his mouth and blows regrowing his original ear, gotta love toon physics
"See? He understood the clue." Gwen said smiling
"Of course, it was obvious." Max said proudly
"In 'When you catch a Luma' Judy was double-crossed. Just like us." Gwen explained the real clue was meant to be
"Right. Totally." Max said pretending that was what he figured out
"You had a completely different take on it, didn't you?" Sam deduced smirking, seeing right through Max
"Yes, mine involved Thai food." Max said with a nod
"Stop!" Slick Jimp said as he was in the room while Goaddard used some extend-o arms from it's back to hold Sam, Slick Jim was holding the eraser "Or I'll erase him right here."
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Okay." Max said to him
"Wait." Gwen said standing from her chair "Let's talk about this."
"Listen, I get how you feel." Max said to Slick Jim "Things didn't work out the way you wanted, right? You had big hopes and dreams and, well…" He sighs "…then the world just sort of breaks your heart."
"And it feels like the only emotions you have left are anger and loneliness." Sam adds in "But you're not alone. None of us are."
"Wow. It's true." Slick Jim said seemingly reached with the words "You two really are the worst actors in Hollywood" He laughs evilly.
However, while their words seemed to not really effected Slick Jim, Goddard 9.0 is a different story, while he had been loyal to his master even after his career ended, he didn't feel all that appreciated by him. While Boomtower and Amigard did show friendship to him Slick Jim often ignores him unless needing something for the criminal business
Goddard nods and lets go of Sam stepping everyone in the room noticed surprised. "Goddard? What are you doing?! Grab him you hunk of junk!" Slick Jim said annoyed
Meanwhile Captain Mechamorph was paying no mind to what was happening in the machine room but then suddenly his phone flies out of the room "Hey! What the…no!" He sees his gun fly out his hustler and onto the window as well"
The group in the machine room noticed all the metal objects begin to fly to the machine. Goddard stretches his arms to the doorway to keep himself from flying too it.
"What the…." Slick Jim said confused and yells avoiding some of the metal jugs as everyone takes cover "What is going on with this thing?"
On the monitors in the control room it red 'Core Temperature Critical' and the machine explodes and sends everyone flying back, Goaddard being flown into the control room.
"No, no, no, No!" Mechamorph said jumping forward as the windows shatter from the explosion
The rocket that was lodged into the machine flies up into the sky and explodes to the Looney Tunes 'That's all folks!' logo and that melody plays as it does.
