Chapter 2: School Memories
Seiya and Usagi went to the high school where they first studied. And this is the place where the story starts between them.
"Odango, do you remember this school?"
"That school is when I first joined, Rei chan and the others also were in the same school."
"I remember Rei and Makoto were not in the same school, but it's glad to hear them being along with you."
Seiya stared at Usagi for a while.
"What's the matter, Seiya?"
"I think I've seen you and Mamoru before; you were at the airport."
"Airport?"
"I actually on my way to look for my fans, and I passed by. Where was he going?"
"He was going to America."
"And at that time you missed him so much. I saw the picture of you two."
"But it's all thanks to you, Yaten and Taiki, of course my friends. We restored Tokyo and everything was in peace."
When they got in the school, the principal saw them.
"Oh, you two must be Seiya and Usagi, what are you guys doing here?"
"Principal, is it fine that we can visit the school?"
"Sure. But don't stay in the school for too long, We are having class today, I give you two an hour's time for visiting."
"Thanks, Prinicipal."
Seiya was glad that she wore pants to hide the fact that she is a male in disguise.
The two passed through the classroom, inside, the blackboard was still clean, with some of the erased writing on it, the chairs remained the same without any broken legs.
"Sorry I'm late!" Usagi shouted.
"You scared me, Odango. What are you thinking?"
"I'm just dramatizing, I got late in the past."
"You always been on time these days. You changed a lot."
"I don't want to be called as a late person."
"And you improved to your studies, I appreciate it."
Usagi stared at the notice board, and she noticed something haven't changed, she noticed there was a photo of her friends, along with Seiya, Yaten, Taiki. It was a picture of them having a great time at the plaza, taking photos together, which is an activity held by school. It was still on the board.
"That picture, is our first gathering, right?"
"Yep, at that time, we haven't heard of any phages, so we went to the plaza."
Usagi smiled at the photo as she remembered the days with the gang.
"That day, is considered the only day with no phages?"
"I guess so, Odango. That day you almost took your transformation item out.
"But they didn't appear, and the trip was going well."
"If a phage suddenly popped up, I would be so scared."
Seiya and Usagi both sat down in their seats. They still haven't forgotten the seats that the teacher assigned to them.
"I still remember you sat in the back, Seiya. You love to tease me."
A few minutes later, another person came.
"What are you guys doing here?"
It turned out he was the head teacher of the class.
"Oh, sorry. We were just visiting the school."
"This class was actually our former class. We already graduated." Seiya explained.
"I see, so you two were the seniors of the class. Good to see you guys."
"We trying to remember the moment that we first went to high school."
"Your classmates didn't threw away the photo."
"Oh, that photo, we discussed in the beginning of the semester, we decided to keep this photo for the future, it's for the special event for students who got to high school. And we decided to keep some of the pictures for leaving as a memory book." The teacher explained.
"That means is available to everyone, even we already graduated?"
"Yes, that's right."
"Our school will have a celebration for our 20th anniversary next month, would you two like to join?"
"Maybe some time. I would be happy to attend." Seiya said.
"I love to."
"I would let the principal know about this. Anyway, my students are currently on their way to take my class, It's nice meeting you two."
"Goodbye."
Seiya and Usagi then take the stairs, and walked to the school hall, except the school hall is currently occupied, with students are having lecture on literature; They remembered the moments when they are singing their school hymn, and listening to the principal for their announcements, Except Usagi fell asleep most of the time. They also went to the cafeteria and remembered how they ate a lot of stuff.
"I saw you ate a bagful of Takoyaki at that time. You really had a good appetite."
"How did you know?"
"Well, I always would like to buy some meatballs for my snack, and I saw you eating." Seiya smirked.
Seiya then took her phone and showed it to Usagi, the photo shows Usagi ate a large amount of Takoyaki, leaving other students surprised on how big her appetite was.
"Seiya!" She pouted.
"Sorry, Usagi."
They also met one of their head teachers, when they were about to make their leave; his name was Sawada. He was in his forties, wearing glasses, and wearing a black suit, with a pair of white sneakers.
"Usagi, Seiya. You two are back!" Sawada said.
"Yes, Mr Sawada, we're actually here to visit."
"Oh, I see. How are you two doing?"
"We're fine. Now studying in university, And now in year one."
"Me too, Mr Sawada. But from a different course." Seiya replied.
"I'm proud of you guys are able to pass high school."
"It's all thanks to Seiya, Mr Sawada." Usagi said.
"I taught her a lot, and even spent my lunch time to teach her."
"You treat her very well, Seiya kun. I love to hear that."
"Don't mention it."
"Oh, I think it's time for me to have class, Hope I'll see you guys attend our celebration in the future, I will give my word to my colleagues."
"See you in someday, Mr Sawada."
"Take care!"
Seiya and Usagi both bid farewell to their head teacher and left the school.
"So, Odango, when are we going to the school next time?"
"Maybe next month, I have to ask the others about the schedule."
"Sure thing, Odango."
"Mr Sawada really have good eyesight, he still recognizes us."
"Our appearances haven't changed, it's just 3 years."
"You're right."
"Shall we go somewhere else?"
"Yep, and let's cook dinner when we got home." Usagi said as she smiled to Seiya.
