The sun had set, and the Obelisk Blue girls' dormitory was bathed in the warm glow of lanterns. Inside the luxurious bathhouse, laughter and chatter filled the air as Alexis Rhodes and her friends relaxed in the soothing waters.
"So, Alexis, any new duel strategies you're working on?" asked Jasmine, lounging nearby.
Alexis smiled, her mind momentarily drifting to her deck. "I've been thinking about a few new combos. Maybe I'll try them out during the next duel practice."
Just as they were about to dive deeper into their conversation, there was a sudden crash. The ceiling above them gave way, and a figure dropped from above, landing with a splash in the bath.
The girls screamed in shock as the water erupted around them. Alexis felt a weight on top of her and looked up to see a boy, his face inches from hers.
"Ow, that hurt," the boy groaned, rubbing his head. He opened his eyes and realized his compromising position. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" he stammered, quickly scrambling to his feet.
Alexis, her cheeks flushed with a deep crimson, stared up at the boy who had just fallen from the sky. "Who are you?" she managed to ask, trying to regain her composure.
Before he could respond, the other girls in the bathhouse surrounded them, their faces a mix of anger and embarrassment. "A boy in the Obelisk Blue girls' dormitory? How dare you!" one of them shouted.
Ash, the boy who had just made the unceremonious entrance, held up his hands defensively. "It was an accident! I didn't mean to—"
But the girls weren't listening, their voices rising in a cacophony of outrage.
"Wait!" Alexis's voice cut through the noise, surprising everyone. She stood up, still blushing but with a determined look in her eyes. "Everyone, back off. Let him explain."
The girls hesitated but eventually stepped back, their curiosity piqued by Alexis's unusual reaction.
Alexis turned to Ash, her expression softening. "So, who are you, and how did you end up here?"
Ash sighed with relief. "I'm Ash Ketchum. I'm a Pokémon Trainer, and I was traveling when I somehow ended up here. I didn't mean to intrude."
"A Pokémon Trainer?" Alexis repeated, intrigued. "What's a Pokémon Trainer?"
Ash smiled, glad to be on more familiar ground. "A Pokémon Trainer is someone who catches, trains, and battles with creatures called Pokémon. They're my partners and friends."
Alexis's friends exchanged confused glances, but Alexis herself seemed fascinated. "I've never heard of Pokémon before. Can you show us one?"
"Sure," Ash said, reaching for a Pokéball. He released Snivy, who appeared with a cool demeanor, and then Oshawott, who looked around curiously.
The girls gasped in surprise and awe. "They're so cute!" one of them exclaimed.
Alexis smiled, bending down to look at the Pokémon more closely. "This is amazing. Snivy looks so confident, and Oshawott is adorable."
Oshawott waddled over to Alexis, its eyes wide with admiration. Alexis couldn't help but laugh, gently patting Oshawott's head. "You're quite the charmer, aren't you?"
Snivy, not wanting to be outdone, posed proudly, making Alexis giggle. "And you, Snivy, have such a cool vibe."
The other girls, seeing Alexis's reaction, began to relax and approach the Pokémon, their curiosity overcoming their initial anger.
Ash watched the scene unfold with a sense of relief and happiness. "I'm really sorry about the way I dropped in. I didn't mean to cause any trouble."
Alexis stood up, looking at him with a kind smile. "It's okay, Ash. Accidents happen. Besides, I'm glad I got to meet you and your Pokémon."
Her friends nodded in agreement, the initial tension dissipating. "Yeah, we were just surprised. You should come by and show us more of your Pokémon sometime."
Ash grinned, feeling the warmth of their acceptance. "I'd love to. And thanks for understanding."
