What's up lads!
It's been a while since we've gotten an update with this gem piece of a story.
I hope you all are excited, I most certainly am.
Start:
The clamor of the grand dining hall of Asgard reverberated to the rafters as Forseti's fist met the table with a thunderous bang. The Norse gods, unaccustomed to defeat, watched with wide eyes as the god of justice conceded the arm wrestling match. The room fell into a momentary hush, the kind that foretold the making of legends.
Many sets of eyes were wide as dinner plates as they feasted their gaze on the grinning blonde mortal who sat at the other end of the bench facing the defeated God of law.
Naruto's voice broke the silence, his challenge hanging in the air like a thrown gauntlet. "Who's next?"
The response was electric, the gods and goddesses erupting into cheers. Admiration was evident in the lustful gaze of several goddesses, while gods muttered in amazement. The thrill of excitement, a feeling so dearly missed in the halls of the Aesir, pulsed through the crowd.
Forseti, with a sportsman's grace, lifted Naruto's hand high, sealing the shinobi's victory. The grand dining room shook with the force of their jubilation.
Suddenly, a hush fell upon the crowd as if summoned by an unseen hand.
Thor, the god of thunder, entered the hall. His visage, as if carved from the trials of battle and hardship, was a spectacle of raw power. Towering above all with his eight foot something frame, his form was clad in the armor of war, every step a measured tremor.
His beard, a fierce red thicket, betrayed his fiery spirit, and his belly, that of a bear's, spoke of his storied indulgence with mead and his great might. His brown eyes, alight with the joy of impending battle, scanned the crowd before settling on the waiting Naruto.
The hall, once a cacophony of celestial revelry, quieted to a tense whisper. Every deity, every creature, every immortal essence fixed their eyes on the scene unfolding.
"Think you can beat me, whiskers?" Thor rumbled with an amused smirk, taking his seat across from Naruto.
"Wouldn't know if I don't try, ginger beard," Naruto shot back with a grin, sparking a hearty laugh from the thunder god.
They locked hands, the anticipation palpable in the air. Naruto could feel the surging power coursing through Thor's veins, a veritable storm against his palm. He began to sweat as he realized that he may have bitten off more than he could chew.
Only the use of sage mode could guarantee him victory.
With the crowd's eyes upon them, Thor readily bellowed out. "Give me your all, whiskers!"
Naruto's grin widened. Excellent, just what he needed to hear. "You asked for it."
Though he had been much more irritable when he had last used sage mode against the vampires, the shinobi truly believed that he'd be just fine if he used it now. While the nature chakra hadn't been the most… purest, the shinobi could get by just fine.
He dealt with worse when one considered his experience with the Kyuubi's chakra.
And even putting all that to the side, Naruto could feel the sheer abundance of nature energy here, and the feeling it gave off was… euphoric.
He closed his own, reaching into the well of his being. The nature energy of Asgard was as previously mentioned, abundant, a torrent of life at his command. He opened his eyes a few seconds later, a small transformation having taken place, his confidence renewed.
The orange eyeshadow and the change in Naruto's eyes were something that everybody noticed and was intrigued by.
Those in the upper echelons of power within Asgard already understood what had taken place and the arm wrestling event that had piqued the interest of everyone, suddenly became even more attention-worthy.
"You're gonna lose, ginger beard." Naruto confidently declared.
His statement sparked another round of laughter from all.
"Now, now." Odin cut in with an amused smile. "Let's not kill everyone inside with suspense. Are you both ready?" The simultaneous nods had everyone on the edge of their seats. "Then begin!"
As soon as the all-father gave the green light, a shockwave rang erupted through the hall as the contestants pushed and exerted with all their might.
Veins bulged across their arms as Naruto and Thor grinned from the exhilarating moment.
They pushed and strained, neither gaining leverage over the other. The shinobi's muscles were smaller than Thor's, yet compacted with the strength of nature. and the god's were like iron cords, forged in the heart of a dying star. This was more than a test of strength; it was a meeting of worlds, a challenge of spirit and might.
Cheers and bets were exchanged among Gods and Goddesses.
Neither Naruto nor Thor could bring themselves to care, too absorbed with their ambition of attaining victory.
They were locked in a standstill, an embodiment of an unstoppable force meeting an immovable object. The cheers of the gods rose to the vaulted ceilings, echoing back as if urging the competitors to the peak of their prowess. In that moment, they were not merely arm wrestling; they were battling as the heroes of old, vying for a place in the songs of skalds and the whispers of time itself.
Naruto's intense focus on the match was an impenetrable fortress, but even the most seasoned warrior could be undone and unraveled just by the smallest of distractions.
From the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of Grayfia, her piercing gaze fixed upon the spectacle with an air of intrigue. It was a split second of wavering as his gaze met her own, a brief lapse, but it was all Thor needed.
With a triumphant surge, he capitalized on the moment and slammed Naruto's hand down, breaking the ninja's formidable streak amidst a roaring approval from the gathered deities.
A cacophony of cheer exploded from the crowd, the gods themselves paying tribute to a match well fought, a streak well ended. Naruto's face, however, was the canvas of competitive fire, his blue eyes alight with the sparks of challenge. Having lost because he was distracted, he wasn't willing to let his legacy end like this. "I want a rematch, old man," He declared.
Laughter erupted around them, a wave of mirth and celebration as Thor responded, "Maybe another time, whiskers." his voice a deep rumble that seemed to roll like distant thunder.
It was then that the sage murmur of Odin rose above the din, the All-father's presence like a calm amidst the storm.
"Tonight," Odin proclaimed, his one eye glinting with a wisdom as old as the realms, "Our feast has been graced with the valor and formidable strength of Naruto Uzumaki and the esteemed and lovely Grayfia. Let us extend our hospitality to them for seven days and seven nights."
Naruto, taken aback, could only stutter in disbelief. "S-seven days?"
Thor, having circled the table to pat the victor on the back, casually ousted the seated guest next to Naruto to make room for himself. With a brotherly arm thrown over the shinobi's shoulders, he bellowed with laughter. "We're gonna have some good times ahead of us, whiskers."
As Naruto's eyes searched for Grayfia, he found her being gently led away by two figures of renown, Sif and Freya, if he remembered their name correctly.
Thor, having followed Naruto's line of sight, leaned in with a conspiratorial smirk. "And I can teach you a few things about how to get a woman hot and bothered," he whispered, his voice a rumble of mischief and hidden wisdom.
The shinobi blushed, causing Thor to release a deep, belly rumbling laugh.

Six hours after the arm-wrestling spectacle, the grandeur of Asgard's feast morphed into a spectacle of revelry and excess. The great hall was alight with the laughter and songs of gods and goddesses, their divine inhibitions loosened by mead and mirth.
Naruto found himself amidst a sea of divinity, each deity more lively and boisterous than the last. A casual glance towards the throne revealed Odin, the All-father, in a rare state of unguarded joviality, his face twisted into a leer that would rival Jiraiya's most scandalous expressions.
Flanked by two Valkyries, Odin's merriment was a clear indication that the night had descended into a realm of jest and jape.
Why was he always surrounded by perverts?
As Naruto navigated the jubilant chaos, he couldn't help but let out a stifled laugh upon witnessing Thor's unique method of sibling rivalry; the god of thunder sat triumphantly atop Loki, who was sprawled on the floor in defeat.
Loki, who he had made acquaintance with earlier, was a God of mischief, something that allowed the two to bond with and share their stories and strategies for pranking.
Needless to say, Naruto had learned a lot.
Seeing the yellow-eyed, gray-haired God face planted on the floor with the large Thor seated at his back, the shinobi shook his head after he got his laughter under control, shaking his head while an amused smile tugged at his lips.
Deciding that a breath of fresh air was in order after hours of feasting and socializing, Naruto excused himself from the tight-knit gathering of divinities. The halls of the palace echoed with the sounds of celebration, a testament to Asgardian hospitality and revelry.
His quest for solitude, however, was briefly interrupted by a sorrowful wail. A feminine figure, engulfed in despair, lamented her solitary state with a cry that pierced the night. "One day, I'll have a boyfriend! You'll see!" She declared before vanishing into the shadows of the hall.
The god responsible, Njord, was left to contend with the collective glare of the assembly.
Naruto, shaking his head at the melodrama, made his way to Odin. After a brief exchange, wherein he secured the All-father's blessing to explore, he ventured forth into the corridors of the palace, driven by curiosity and a need for respite.
The echo of his steps was a solitary companion in the vast expanse of the palace, leading him, as if by fate, to the doors of a grand library. The library was a realm unto itself, rows upon rows of ancient tomes and scrolls housing the wisdom of ages.
Drawn to a section at random, Naruto's hand had barely grazed the spine of a book when a voice, sultry and laced with amusement, addressed him from behind. "I didn't think you were the reading type."
Turning, Naruto found himself face to face with a vision of elegance and somber beauty. Hel, the goddess before him, was an enchantress in her own right.
Hel's appearance was as ethereal as it was bewitching. Her complexion, as pale as the soft glow of the moonlight, her eyes, a set of deep onyx that were windows to a soul that had known both the vibrancy of Asgard and the solemnity of her realm. And her obsidian black hair, cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night while simultaneously framing a beautiful heart-shaped face.
Her figure was curvaceous and stacked like every other supernatural woman Naruto had come across, with large breasts, a small waist, a pair of wide hips that came with a fat ass, and meaty thighs that looked like they could reach the heavens with how long they were. All of which were covered by her full body silver robe.
That Naruto could get an idea of how Hel's frame looked like despite how loose her robes were, spoke of how stacked the death Goddess was.
(Hel's entire appearance resembles Boa Hancock from one piece, but definitely not as tall, and with black eyes instead of blue. Her height for those wondering is 5ft 11)
Having been around so many beautiful women ever since he arrived in this world, the jinchuriki was no longer stunned whenever he came across someone so gorgeous, just simply taking things into stride and rolling with it.
"You guessed right," Naruto replied, his voice carrying a note of respect and curiosity. "I definitely enjoyed myself at the feast, but I had enough of the smell of mead and needed some space."
"Understandable," Hel nodded, her voice a melody of empathy and grace. "I'm not much of a
fan of the feasts either." She extended a hand, an invitation to acquaintance. "I am Hel, Goddess of the Dead."
Taking her hand, he smiled. "Naruto Uzumaki."
Naruto's curiosity was piqued as he leaned slightly forward, his tone genuine and inquisitive. "Why aren't you a fan of the feasts? I mean, they're lively and all, but I noticed you weren't there." His blue eyes, always so vibrant and full of life, searched Hel's own pair for an answer.
Hel paused, her gaze shifting away for a moment as if gathering her thoughts before meeting the blonde's gaze once again.
"Ah, it's a bit complicated," She began, her voice carrying the weight of centuries of solitude and misunderstanding. "You see, being the Goddess of the Underworld, not many are keen to associate closely with me."
"It tends to... cast a shadow, for lack of a better term." She added, offering a wry smile, one that didn't quite reach her eyes. "My presence isn't always welcomed with warmth, as you might imagine. Only a few dare to approach, and even then, it's with a certain... hesitance. There is a small list of those who aren't hesitant, but they themselves are usually right in the middle of the feasts."
Naruto's expression softened, empathy shining through. "That sucks. Being judged without people trying to get to know you first." He shook his head slightly, his words echoing his own experiences of prejudice and isolation. "I know what that feels like, being viewed through a lens that doesn't really show who you are."
At this, Hel's eyes widened slightly, surprise flickering across her face at his understanding and empathy. The initial shock quickly gave way to a soft chuckle, a sound as melodic as it was rare, emanating from deep within her. "That is rather surprising to hear, Naruto Uzumaki, especially considering your sunny disposition."
The shinobi grinned. "I learnt that no matter who you are, just like everyone else, you'll also find yourself burdened with something. So why not smile? To ease the pain and to share comfort with others who might come to be your friend."
"Oh?" A smile, one of enjoyment and interest, graced her lips. "And is that what we are? Friends?"
"Doesn't the thought of being friends sound nice? I know it is, having friends can be really liberating, it makes you feel like you can fly."
"I can fly." She replied with amusement.
"Not like that." Naruto scowled. "I mean in the sense that you feel free."
A contemplative expression crisscrossed Hel's features. "I haven't thought about that…It's refreshing, actually. Not many have the courage to speak so freely about such matters with me." Her gaze on him was one of intrigue and appreciation. "Your perspective... it's unique."
Never one to be good with compliments, he rubbed the back of his head, a gesture that underlined his humility. "Thank you."
Hel's gaze, piercing yet vulnerable, sought deeper understanding from the mortal who had garnered her interest. "Were you able to overcome being misjudged? To have others see you for who you truly are?"
The flicker of loneliness in her eyes was a mirror to Naruto's past pains, a silent echo of isolation that he knew all too well.
"Yeah, I did... sort off." Naruto replied, his voice steady, yet reflective of the rocky path he had walked. "There are still many who think of me as a monster back in my home. But I have also made friends with a lot of people who know the truth. That I'm not a monster, and knowing that, it helps."
"But it wasn't easy. I had to put myself out there, show them who I really was, little by little." His words carried the weight of experiences lived and battles fought for acceptance.
Hel listened, her expression revealing the internal conflict such a notion stirred within her. "Putting oneself out there..." she mused, the idea seeming to sit on her like an ill-fitting garment. "That's not something I'm entirely comfortable with," she admitted, her voice trailing into the silence that enveloped them, heavy with unspoken fears and desires.
Moved by the resonance of their shared experiences and of her hesitance, Naruto made a declaration that bridged the gap between their worlds. "I get that. But talking to you, I feel like you're a kindred spirit. So, I'm gonna say you're my friend." His statement was bold, a testament to his unwavering spirit and open heart.
The surprise that flashed across Hel's features was palpable, a ripple of shock that quickly gave way to amusement. Her initial reaction softened, a small chuckle darting past her lips before she silenced her giggle. Her lips morphing into a smile that held both warmth and a hint of mischief.
Gently, she reached out, her touch as sensuous as it was comforting, and patted Naruto on the cheek. Her eyelashes fluttered in a mature, knowing manner, adding a layer of intimacy to the moment.
"Careful now, choosing to be friends with someone like me can be a bad idea."
The jinchuriki grunted stubbornly. "I don't believe that."
Hel giggled, a sweet symphony of laughter. "I find your company quite enjoyable, Naruto Uzumaki," She declared softly, her voice a tender caress in the quiet of the library. "I look forward to our next conversation." Her words, though quiet, resonated with a promise.
One that Naruto recognized and readily acknowledged. "Same here." He replied genuinely. "See you later, Hel."
With one last knowing smile, the goddess of death sensuously whispered "Bye." while sending him a fluttering wave as she headed to the exit of the library.
Taking a look around him once he concluded he was alone, the shinobi looked around at the massive library and whistled.
Conveniently forgetting about the use of shadow clones, Naruto tried to muster the courage to grab and read a book.
…
He failed.

It was half an hour later, in the heart of Asgard's grand dining hall, where Naruto found himself once again amidst the legendary figures of Norse mythology. Tyr, the god of war, stood with a stature that commanded respect, while Freyr, the god of fertility and brother to Freya, carried an aura of warmth and prosperity around him.
As Naruto reacclimated to the bustling environment, Freyr, with a gesture both grand and welcoming, handed Naruto a mug of beer. The liquid inside frothed and danced, eager to be tasted. Freyr's laughter, hearty and full of life, echoed off the ancient walls, blending seamlessly with the cacophony of divine revelry.
Grasping the mug firmly, Naruto offered a smile, his gratitude genuine. "Thank you," he said, his voice carrying over the din.
"My pleasure my man," Freyr responded, his eyes twinkling with the joy of hosting such a unique guest.
The conversation flowed as freely as the mead, and Naruto, caught up in the moment, turned to Tyr. Something about Tyr's presence was profoundly compelling, not just his reputation as a god of war but also his physical bearing. The beard that adorned Tyr's face was not just facial hair
but a testament to his warrior's spirit, groomed yet wild, it commanded its own sort of respect.
"Your beard is awesome," Naruto couldn't help but blurt out, his admiration for the Norse aesthetic shining through.
Tyr, initially taken aback by such direct praise, quickly found himself basking in it. A smile, wide and unguarded, spread across his face, lighting up his eyes. "Thank you," he managed, a chuckle escaping him as he stroked his beard, pride swelling in his chest.
Freyr leaned in, his voice laced with intrigue and an unmistakable hint of challenge. "Naruto, will you be partaking in the tournament of warriors?" The question hung in the air, a challenge wrapped in an invitation, a cornerstone of Asgardian tradition laid bare for the newcomer.
Intrigued by the mention of a tournament, Naruto tilted his head, his curiosity piqued. "Tournament of warriors? What's that about?" he inquired, the prospect of competition kindling a fire in his eyes.
Tyr, ever the storyteller, took it upon himself to elaborate, his voice resonant with the weight of tradition. "It's one of Asgard's oldest traditions," He explained, his gaze sweeping across the gathered deities who nodded in reverent agreement.
"Starting from the second day of our feast, the tournament spans five days, culminating on the sixth. Each day offers a new battle, a new test of strength and skill, save for the opening day, which sees not one but two contests. It's more than just a display of martial prowess; it's a celebration of valor, a test of honor, and a spectacle that entertains both gods and special mortals alike."
The spark in Naruto's eyes blazed into a flame at Tyr's words. The idea of competing in such an event, of testing his abilities against the mightiest warriors of Asgard, thrilled him to his core. "That sounds incredible! I'm definitely entering," He declared, his voice ringing with the excitement and resolve of a born competitor.
"Good." Freyr exclaimed enthusiastically. "Because as you can expect, both me and Tyr will be fighting as well."
"Indeed." Tyr nodded.
"Who else will be partaking in this tournament?" Naruto inquired curiously.
"That unfortunately does not get revealed until tomorrow where we see the tournament list, which speaking of, to enlist, you must speak with the All-father in order to join." Tyr replied.
"Got it."
Leaning in, Freyr smirked. "That's not all, the winner of the tournament also gets a reward, naturally."
Naruto quirked an eyebrow, curiosity lighting his feature as he eyed the god of Fertility and peace. "And the reward is…?"
"A favor or a wish from the All-father, as long as it's within reason of course."
Oh… Now that was interesting.
"That does make the tournament more appealing to be apart of." The shinobi admitted, already being able to see the potential with having the favor of the God-king of the Norse mythology. He already had something in mind.
Tyr nodded as he set his mug on the table. "That is the idea. This tournament takes places with every grand feast, but this grand feast only happens every few months."
"So understandably, everyone is itching to have a go and win the bloody thing." Freyr supplied.
"Well, reward or no reward, I'm looking forward to this all the same." Naruto declared before he got up from his seat. "Anyway, I'm going to call it a night, get some rest and some sleep."
"Have a good night Naruto." Tyr smiled kindly at the blonde and waved.
"See ya tomorrow my man!" Freyr was much more enthusiastic with his response. "And don't forget to talk to Odin about joining."
"I won't." Naruto promised as he smiled at the pair. "Night guys."

Entering his shared living quarters with Grayfia, the lone shinobi exhaled in relief as he allowed his posture to relax. The time he had spent with the Norse Gods was well spent and Naruto had truly enjoyed his time with them… But holy shit, they didn't know how to take a break.
Evidently, he wasn't the only one who sought comfort within their own space.
Grayfia was inside the room too and the knowing glint in her eyes spoke of the shared understanding that they both were out of their element when it came to dealing with the eccentric, but enjoyable, lifestyle of the Gods of Norse mythology.
She sat at the edge of the bed, and it didn't escape Naruto's attention that she was adorned in only a set of white bra and panties.
…
"How was everything with you?" Naruto asked, breaking the silence that had settled between them.
Grayfia took a moment before responding, her voice smooth and even. "I enjoyed spending time with Freya, Sif, and the other goddesses. It was... nice." She admitted, a rare glimpse into her personal reflections.
The shinobi's face lit up with a smile, pleased to hear she found some enjoyment amidst the grandeur of Asgard's festivities. "I'm happy to hear that," He made sure to tell her as such.
For a fleeting moment, a small, almost imperceptible smile graced Grayfia's lips, softening her usual stoic expression. It was a rare concession to the warmth of the moment that the blonde shinobi effortlessly delivered.
She patted the space next to her on the bed, a silent invitation which Naruto easily accepted as he moved to join her. The bed dipping slightly under their combined weight, an acknowledgment of their shared presence in this secluded space.
Their conversation naturally flowed to the topic of the tournament, a subject Naruto had learned about from Tyr and Freyr. "There's this tournament happening," he started, his eyes sparkling with excitement at the prospect.
Grayfia nodded, already aware. "Sif mentioned it. Are you planning to join?" Her tone was neutral, but her eyes were fixed on him, inquisitive and curious.
"Definitely," He responded with enthusiasm, his resolve firm.
The stoicism on the face of the strongest queen morphed into a deadpan expression, her gaze sharpening. "And that's precisely why I don't trust you with your own health." She stated flatly, her concern evident despite her usual composed facade.
Naruto's reaction was immediate, his face forming a pout, a playful protest to her worry. Grayfia sighed, a mix of fondness and exasperation coloring her breath, as she observed his child-like response.
"I must admit, I was surprised that you matched the God of Thunder in physical strength, even if in an enhanced state." There was no mistaking the fact that the maid of Lucifer was curious, a glint in her eyes as she inquired about the source of his formidable power. "You don't have to tell me if it's too deep-probing but I would like to know."
"I don't mind." He waved off her worries. "But it's better if I tell you the truth after I speak with Odin, it will make more sense that way."
Grayfia nodded, accepting his decision, before her expression softened with gratitude "Thank you for trusting me."
Naruto's smile was warm, reassuring. "It's no problem at all. We're friends, aren't we, it's natural for friends to share secrets with one another, especially in my case since I've got a promise to keep."
Besides… it didn't exactly sit right with him that he was telling his secret to pretty much any faction leader who could help but he was leaving Grayfia who was with him on this journey in the dark.
The mention of the promise stirred something within Grayfia, a memory flashing briefly within the recess of her mind, of soft blue eyes gazing upon her form, of words uttered with the noblest and most heartfelt of intentions…
In a rare moment of impulsiveness, Grayfia leaned to him, her actions spurred by the warmth of their deepening friendship, and pressed her lips on Naruto's cheek.
Then, with a fluid motion, she moved across the bed, her grace undiminished even in such a casual act, positioning herself at the head of the bed, leaving the shinobi with cheeks that were tinted pink and a red lipstick imparted on the left side of his visage.
END.
And that marks the end of this chapter.
I do hope you all enjoyed the small moment between Naruto and Grayfia, eventually it will keep building up before the ice queen falls in love with our favorite whiskered warrior.
I also hope you all enjoyed my depiction of some of the Norse mythology characters. Because of how they're usually depicted in movies, or shows, or whatever, some of them tend to have a bad reputation when each character is complex in their own rights.
And don't worry, we will see more and more Norse mythology figures get introduced as we go along the story.
