INT. COFFEE SHOP
Jerry and George sitting down drinking coffee.
JERRY
So they gave me four free tickets
to the Bruce Springsteen show, at
MSG, front row. You, Elaine,
Cosmo, you're all coming with me.
GEORGE
(Ecstatic)
The Boss?! In The Garden!
JERRY
Yep. Front row. Glory Days, Born
in the U.S.A.—
GEORGE
(Cutting Jerry off)
I wonder if he remembers me. It
was around Christmas time in 1980,
he had just done a big show at The
Garden. I was returning a pair of
loafers for my father at this
after-hours shoe repair place right
around the corner. Anyway, he had
rounded the corner rather quickly
trying to elude some fans when he
steps on a patch of ice. Both of
his legs fly out from under him,
when I reached out and grabbed him
with my one free arm.
JERRY
I remember that winter. The whole
city was covered in ice for a
month. Did he take you down?
GEORGE
Of course not. I sort of turned
him, in the air, and righted him
back up, both feet landed safely on
the ground.
JERRY
You always had incredible balance
on icy sidewalks.
GEORGE
30 years of shoveling my parents
driveway in Queens every winter
will do that.

Jerry nods, sipping his coffee.
GEORGE
Anyway, after that, he shoves me
into his limo, thanks me for saving
his life, and drops me off at the
shoe store.
JERRY
Imagine that. If it weren't for
Georgey-Boy here carrying out
late-night errands for his father
The Boss may have ceased to exist
in the '80s.
GEORGE
Can't say I've seen Better Days.
JERRY
How did it work out at the shoe
store?
GEORGE
Oh, I was too star-struck I left
the shoes in the limo. To this
day, my father brings it up every
time he sees a limo.
(Imitating his father)
Hey George, I think I saw Lou Reed
in that Limousine. Why don't you
give him my jacket this time.
INT. JERRY'S APARTMENT
Elaine enters as Jerry places the tickets on the kitchen
counter.
ELAINE
Guess who was in the office today.
JERRY
(Firing back quickly)
Rip Taylor.
ELAINE
No. You juvenile. Bruce
Springsteen. Peterman wants a new
line of jeans modeled after his
butt.
Jerry is waving the tickets in the air.

CONTINUED: 3.
JERRY
Well you can see him again this
weekend at The Garden!
Elaine pushes Jerry violently.
ELAINE
Get out! You know, he hit on me.
JERRY
Was your nipple hanging out again?
ELAINE
(Sarcastically laughing)
He said, after looking me up and
down, 'Now there's a butt to model
jeans after'.
JERRY
You sure he wasn't referring to
Peterman?
Kramer bursts through Jerry's door, shirtless, eating a
banana holding a brown paper bag with bananas sticking out
the top.
JERRY
(Introducing Elaine to Kramer)
Elaine, Johnny Weissmuller.
Kramer sticks his face out as if there is something
noticeable about it.
KRAMER
You see that Jer'? So smooth and
clear. It's like I'm 20 years
younger and it's all because of
these puppies. From now on I'm
eating nothing but bananas.
Jerry rolls his eyes.
KRAMER
Have you ever eaten a banana?
JERRY
(Sarcastically fascinated)
No, what are these strange yellow
things. And what happened to your
shirt?
Kramer puts down the bag of bananas on the counter.

KRAMER
So get this. I'm walking down
Broadway after going to the
market. A car flies by, hitting a
puddle, and soaks a crowd in the
middle of a photo shoot. The guy's
shirt who they were taking photos
of is ruined. I take off my shirt
and say 'here ya go buddy' and
throw it at him.
Kramer makes a throwing motion and popping noise with his
mouth.
ELAINE
You just gave a stranger your
shirt?
KRAMER
Not just any stranger. Turns out
it was Bruce Spingsteen.
JERRY
Wait a minute now. Am I the only
one here without a personal
connection with Bruce Springsteen?
KRAMER
Yeah, it's all about good karma,
baby. It'll come back to me some
day.
JERRY
Well maybe he'll give it back to
you at the concert Saturday night.
Jerry hands Kramer a ticket to the Bruce Springsteen
concert.
KRAMER
That's banana-karma right there.
Kramer makes another popping noise with his mouth.
EXT. STREETS OF NEW YORK AT NIGHT
Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer are walking down the
street after the concert. Kramer is eating a banana.
ELAINE
That was such a good show.

GEORGE
I know, it was amazing. Hey do you
wanna grab a slice of pizza
somewhere?
JERRY
Yeah, how 'bout Famous Rays? It's
just up here around the corner.
Jerry points ahead.
GEORGE
No, I thought Ray's is that way?
George blindly turns to point in the opposite direction and
smacks Kramer's banana out of his hand. The half-eaten
banana lands on the sidewalk in front of a limo.
Bruce Springsteen rushes to his limo behind them and slips
on the banana. His feet fly up in the air as they watch.
